Words Aren't Enough

Chapter 40

Weeks Later

At 30 weeks along. Baby boy Scott is the size of a zucchini. I am now in my 7th month of pregnancy. Between the weird dreams, heartburn, and trouble sleeping. I was more then ready to give birth but of course that wouldn't happen for 10 more weeks. Brooke thought to herself as she finished getting dressed. Taking a deep breath. As she gazed at herself in the mirror before leaving her bedroom.

"The only reason i'm not wearing PJ's from this moment on is because we have young kids in our care who need structure and stability. Even with all the discomfort and emotion i feel. I'm so excited and happy to marry you." Brooke said.

Lucas smiled back at her. Walking over to where she was seated placing a kiss on her lips.

"I would marry you wearing anything you want. We only have a few more days before the wedding. As for the pregnancy soon all of this will be a distant memory. Eventually we'll have our little boy here with us." Lucas said.

"I can't wait." Brooke said. Looking back at him with a smile. She reached over and grabbed Lucas's hand placing it on her belly.

"Kicking away. We'll decide on a name once he's born." Brooke said.

"That get's more amazing every time. If not once he's born then before we leave the hospital." Lucas said.

Brooke nodded her head in agreement.

"Jamie i have a homework assignment for you. It's simple and something i don't want you to do now. Only when you're ready. And that is to write a letter to you're mom and you're dad. Telling them whatever you want. You decide when you write this. Whether it be in a year from now or 10. It will be a very experience for you but only you know when the time is right." Maddie said.

Jamie stared back at her. "What if i have nothing to say?" He asked.

"You will. Right now you're still processing the fact that their gone. It will take months if not years for it to sink in." Maddie said.

Days Later

The guests were all seated in front of the wedding arch. One by one they laughed and cheered as Jamie and Jenny walked down the aisle. Jamie holding the rings while Jenny threw flowers.

Karen seated in the front row holding baby Lydia in her arms.

The girls and guys were all lined up on opposite sides of the aisle. Everyone stood up as the piano began to play.

The backyard doors opened as Brooke emerged she began to walk down the aisle. With a bouquet a flowers in one hand and holding on tightly to the other hand she was holding. Which was Keith Scott's.

She had planned to walk down the aisle alone when Keith heard of this he quickly volunteed himself. Proclaiming on that day she was now his daughter and he wouldn't allow her to go down the aisle alone.

Brooke locked eyes with Lucas. Her white dress flowing with mininmal sparkle. On her feet she wore flats little make up on her face. Her hair up in a bun. Her face covered with a veil.

When they got to the end of the put Brooke's hand in Lucas's. Turned from them and sat down beside his wife.

"We are gathered here today to witness the union of Lucas Scott and Brooke Davis" The minister said.
