The next thing he knew, he was running. And IT was behind him. Where was he? Looked like a... Forest? Snowdin forest? But it was abnormally dark... Why weren't the crystals reflecting? He looked ahead of himself, and he couldn't see anything... It felt as if the haze was holding him back... He felt it physically. Suddenly he felt something getting under his fit, and he fell... It was right above him, stabbing him through his back.

Alex woke up with a gasp, widening his eyes as his cheek began burning. Laura slapped him with all her might. He realized that he was lying and not sitting, like he did while falling asleep. The couch flipped back from him shuddering while awakening. Laura was lying above him, pinning him to the ground.

-Thanks... I didn't want to stay asleep.-

He grinned sadly. It was still pitch black around, until... The lights came on.

-Alex?-

He heard Cameron's voice coming from the doorway. Alex lifted his head and saw his sleepy brother leaning against the wall and looking at him with lifted eyebrows. The mixed feelings on his face were easily explained by the fact that Laura had made herself comfortable above Alex. When she saw the younger boy, she slowly crawled off him and went to the kitchen. Alex quietly got up from the couch and put it back on place, but his legs couldn't hold him longer than that and he dropped on it heavily. Cameron dropped down beside him.

-What was it?-

He asked.

-I... Guess I had a nightmare and the reality proceeded without me.-

Alex shrugged. It wasn't completely a lie, after all, but he said it too positively. Cameron tilted his head.

-Did she do something to you?-

He whispered, making sure Laura won't hear it.

-No, nothing. I think I'm just exhausted at the moment.-

-Then go to sleep. Music will wait, and this girl as well.-

-I guess trying to compensate all the years missed as a musician is a bad idea...-

-Go to sleep!-

Cameron forced Alex off the couch, who stretched on the floor for a moment like a carpet, before... Closing his eyes and starting to nap right there, mimicking Asriel.

-I'm not dragging you to bed. Aleeeex! Get up!-

Cameron poked him with a crutch for two minutes before Alex lifted himself up.

-In fact, sleeping on the floor is comfortable. And I heard that's it's good for back aches.-

-I don't care, go to bed.-

The younger brother yawned and they moved towards the bedroom. When he opened the door, Cameron suddenly stopped and looked thoughtful at the other four younglings sleeping.

-What is it?-

Alex shook him from the deep thought and Cameron frowned.

-I'm thinking... Where is Laura going to be? We are six people in one room! Or is she going to commandeer the couch forever?-

He asked. Indeed, the room had no place to step on. Three bunk beds, two wardrobes and three nightstands led to everyone's toes being numb from pain all day every day, and a labyrinth of shelves caused Alex to walk around with bruises all over his head.

-Maybe Toriel and Asgore will share a room and one of their rooms will be passed to us?-

-Asgore snores way too loudly, have mercy on Toriel, Alex. Though it sounds like a fine solution to me... What do you say that we buy Toriel earplugs?-

-Sounds like a plan. But, uh, even if we do get a second room, I don't know who will get along with Laura well enough to be in one room with her.-

Alex slowly closed the door with a creak to prevent their conversation from waking the others.

-Definitely not me and not Mike, she broke his ribs with a single kick!-

-For real? How?-

-She was just lying down on the flower bed, and when Mike checked on her, she kicked him. Gaster was here, fixing his bones for a while.-

-...And I wouldn't trust for Ryan to stay around her, if she does anything to him he won't be able to call for help. I think I will be able to handle her presence, but...-

-Oh no, I'm not letting you stay with her one on one! Take Chara with you, she won't be afraid. And she sleeps with a knife under her pillow.-

Alex's eyes rounded like coins. Cameron said it so calmly as if every second person he knew slept with one. Or was he immune to such things because Alex himself slept with a gun under his pillow for a period in their lives? Now that Alex was thinking about it, you don't hear stories like this from every person you meet.

-I know that I came to realization of this over and over for the last year and a half, but we all are too weird for human world.-

Was the only thing he managed to answer, absolutely forgetting the concept of the conversation. Cameron heaved a loud sigh and cracked the door open.

-You are turning off again, go to sleep already. We've been talking for too long.-

He commanded. Alex smirked and rubbed his long hair, before entering the room and diving under the blanket, falling asleep almost immediately. Cameron was about to enter after him, but noticed how Laura stood at the end of the corridor, as if she was staring at him. Was she there the entire time? Was she... Eavesdropping? Cameron gulped nervously and hurried to disappear in the bedroom, locking it from the inside before starting to crawl to his bed, just to turn back and ensure the door was absolutely locked. Only this way he knew he would feel safe.

LATE MORNING...

Oh, how blessed they were for the next day to be a weekend! The Dreemurrs had a chance to sleep as much as they physically could, and Alex stretched this longer than anybody else. Laura in the morning seemed surprisingly... Normal? As if yesterday wasn't strange at all? Cameron was walking around suspiciously, as if he was getting ready to fight, constantly stopping and asking himself if he was exaggerating, after all, when he and Alex fell down, they couldn't look weirder to Chara and Asriel with Alex's guns, their dressing style, story of their life... But then he forgot about it. Laura... Seemed to create a weird atmosphere around her. The most he feared for Alex, as it seemed that last night she had already done something to him. But, on the other hand, maybe he really was just too tired?
