Draco unlocked a Muggle Flat he had seen with the twins earlier. It was large enough to match his standers, and small enough that they wouldn't be noticed. Hermione gasped at the size of the entry way, nobody else did. They had all seen flats this big. It was cheap, and he had already traded much of his galleons for muggle money. Which was horrible, he'd have Hermione manage it. He couldn't take much of the money from the Malfoy vault, he didn't have too much any more. After he paid for two funerals and such.
"How many rooms are there?" Hermione asked, still in awe of the place. She had interrupted his thoughts on his mother.
"Four, Solomon can have his own room, Maya and Pansy can room, Justin can have his own room, and you can choose to either stay with the girls, Justin, or me." Draco said, he grabbed his trunk and made his was up the stairs, to a hall that had a view of the door, he caught a quick glance at Hermione, who had gone pink at the offer to stay in his room. He smirked and walked into the room that was now his. The entire flat had been painted in a butterbeer tone, by muggles. They must call it a different color. Possibly plum or something.
He got out his wand and was about to charm the wall, but Hermione probably wanted to paint them the muggle way. Which he didn't mind, not too much. He could live with it at least. He pulled out a bed small enough to fit in a doll house, he put it on the floor by the wall and charmed it to grow, he was not going to unpack the muggle way. He had to at least do some magic to keep himself sane. A black comforter was sprawled sloppily over the white sheets on the bed.
He threw a few more pieces of furniture around and filled his dresser. Then he made his way back to the kitchen. Where Hermione was cooking the muggle way, listening to music and humming along.
"Bacon?" Hermione offered. Draco narrowed his eyes and shook his head. "Its not poisonous Draco, just because house elves didn't make it doesn't mean it doesn't taste good." Hermione insisted. She held a piece of bacon out to him. He hesitantly took it.
"Hermione, don't try and give him anything done the muggle way, its useless." Pansy said as she came out of her and Maya's bedroom.
"We got two twin beds in there, and we arranged the color, we're going for a silver." Maya said as she emerged from the same door Pansy did.
"I'm doing a black." Solomon said from the couch, where he was eating bacon. "Draco! Eat the bacon!" Draco took a bite of it, showed no emotion of either liking it or not, but he ate the rest of it without saying anything.
"Obviously I was going for emerald." Draco said. Hermione sighed from the kitchen.
"What a bunch of dark people, I'm painting Justin's room a bright color, with more designs than you could imagine." Hermione said.
"Oh come on, you didn't have to break up with anyone to get here. We all want to be dark sometimes." Maya said as she ate a piece of bacon.
"I didn't have anyone to break up with, just noting that." Solomon said. Everyone looked at him. He shrank in his spot on the couch.
"I didn't break up with anyone either, Blaise said he'd wait for me to get back." Pansy said. She looked at her hands and seemed to get lost in thought.
"Told you, Blaise fancies you too much to let you go." Draco said, he started filling the Muggle cold box with drinks and food. Pansy blushed and smiled.
"Maya." Hermione said softly as she turned off the stove. She walked over to where Maya was and hugged her. "He would have waited for you." Hermione whispered. Draco sighed.
"While I was at the Burrow, before the thing with Weasel happened, we were looking at Flats, he was going to ask you to move in with him and Fred in the Flat over the shop." Draco said, now returning the his nickname for the dead ginger. He had been sworn to secrecy on that, but, he felt she needed to know.
"You went looking for Flats?" The other four Wanderers asked at the same time, looking skeptical.
"Yes! I didn't think the Manor would be a fit place to live, not with Justin at least, Potter and the twins made me anyway, don't change the subject." Draco growled and walked to the living room, where the baby was scooting around, getting frustrated with himself every time he tried to crawl and failed. Maya walked back to the room he shared with Pansy suddenly and shut the door softly. Solomon took after her.
"He'd be fine in the Manor." Pansy said, trying to break the sudden silence. Draco shook his head.
"Too many rooms, we could lose him, he could get hurt when nobody's looking, here, we can see him, we can protect him. Besides, we don't know what still lurks in the dungeons at Malfoy Manor." Draco said. He frowned, remembering Bella. He had brought her there, his mother was dead because of him, he should have killed her, or taken her to Azkaban, or something.
"You should really just kill 'em all." Pansy said. "Or take them to Azkaban." Pansy added when she saw the look on Hermione's face.
