Prompt from VenusWulf: So you know how in Scooby-Doo! and the Curse of the 13th ghost movie Fred says he went to cheerleading camp.. I was wondering if you could do a short of the gang being supportive at like a meet or something like that..

It's been a while since I've seen this film, and honestly, I didn't really like it, but I can write this prompt without referring to it.

….

Freddie knew he could have been the most popular kid in school.

Son of the Mayor, lots of money to his name…. he could have had it all.

Or so his Father claimed.

Apparently, he could have had it all if he hadn't made the friends that he had. Daphne was fine, she was from an influential family, as was Velma, even if the Dinkley's didn't earn as much… hell, even Shaggy was fine as the son of the Sheriff.

But all of them together solving mysteries? That's when everything went wrong for him… apparently.

Cheerleading camp was the last straw.

"AND DON'T COME BACK UNTIL YOU'RE READY TO CONSIDER YOUR FUTURE PROPERLY!"

His Father would never understand. He couldn't stay here on his own, not when all his friends were going off to camp as well. Velma to science camp, Daphne to a martial arts one (he was sure her parents didn't know about it) and Shaggy to a cooking one (again, his own Father probably didn't know about that).

It was their last day, which meant they were all at the lake.

"REDDIE!" Scooby came charging forwards, almost tackling Freddie to the ground as he licked at his face, making Freddie laugh as he tried to bat the dog away.

"Alright! Alright!" He managed to get into a seated position, pushing Scooby away as the others rushed over.

"So, how did it go?" Daphne asked, "About cheerleading camp?"

Freddie winced, "Well… it's not going to be fun when I get home, that's for sure. But what else was I supposed to do? Sit around here and wait for you guys to come home? Or go to whatever camp he picked out for me…. Young Leaders of the future, or something like that?"

"I think you'll have fun." Velma smiled reassuringly at him, "Cheerleading involves planning and strategy after all."

"And you'll suit the uniform." Daphne nodded in agreement, "And when we all get back, we can show each other what we've learnt, right?"

Shaggy nodded eagerly, "Triple layer, red velvet cake when I get back?"

"Hold the pickles and we've got a deal."
