In order to keep Aura occupied, Khybon and Kopond had given her blank scrolls and ink to work on. In the past couple of days, Kopond would drop in every once in a while to make sure no one was hurt. The Underworld muge was still shaken over what he had just seen on the other end of the crystal. No M'arrillian has such power to do what Aura did. As he looked after her when Khybon was doing work. and after some time talking to Najarin, he was beginning to understand a little bit of Aura.
Aura was enjoying her time at Khybon's place despite not having Cot around. She would draw all the buildings that she had seen through the time she spent in Kiru City. She even took the time to draw every detail of the creatures that she had seen so far. Maxxor in his heroic stances. Intress' kind face. Cot in flight. H'earring and Takinom. Even the fierce details of Chaor were practically perfect. She was currently drawing Khybon, one of fifty-nine, when Khybon returned holding a small item that resembled a puzzle. "What are you-" He stopped short when he noticed the drawings littered on the floor. His eyes gazed in wonder of all the images that were before him. "You...drew all of this in the past five hours I left you?"
Aura nodded. Her fins turning magenta with embarrassment. She never even realized that she even got through half of the five hundred scrolls. She was enjoying herself, but may have gotten carried away. Suddenly, a metal object was presented to her on the bedside table on her left. She looked up at Khybon.
"It's a puzzle," Khybon explained. "You just have to simply twist it in a few places until-" A loud pop resonated in the room. He looked and found that Aura was now holding a metal box with a plastic Underworlder sticking out. His red eyes nearly popped out. "Uh...I never expected you to solve that quickly." He shook his head. "Apparently, I'll have to ask Chaor if I can take you to Castle Pillar. You might find it more of a challenge there." He was about to leave when he heard a faint voice in his head. K...K...Khybon… It was sweet and singsong. He had forgotten to wear his headband when he was checking up on her. He turned around and his heart nearly leaped as he gazed upon Aura. Her face filled with bliss. Her fins a beautiful pale shade of blue that matches her eyes. T-Thank you...
"Y-you're welcome." He gasped. Covering his mouth, he quickly left before he could notice the look of surprise on Aura's face when she realized that she had formed words in her thought instead of projecting emotions.
