Kristoff:
Kristoff had to remember to thank the Finsterwald servant later. Without her strange encouragement Kristoff was sure he wouldn't have come to the ball. In addition he might have forgotten to change. It would be so embarrassing to come here without wearing a proper suit. Anna had been storming towards him as soon as he entered. She had been dancing with some strange royal. The two had been laughing and it looked like they would have a good time. He wore a dark suit and his hair shimmered reddishly. Kristoff had never seen him before, but he wasn't surprised. He knew there would be a lot of strangers dancing with Anna today. After all she was still the princess of Arendelle. Dancing with the local monarchs is part of the typical behaviour. Kristoff was surprised. As soon as the ice harvester entered the ball room Anna saw him. Her face lightened up and a huge honest grin spread across his face. She immediately ran over to him. The foreign good-looking male royal was completely forgotten. The smile on her face was so honest, warm and happy. His heartbeat increased instantly.
"Kristoff am so glad you came. I know you don't like royal balls and would prefer to be at the stables to keep Sven company, yet you still came. I want you know I could understand if you don't wand to stay. I would never force you to. However, you are here and I'm so happy, but …"
Anna kept on rambling. Kristoff smiled at his girlfriend and put a hand across her mouth to stop her from talking.
"I am fine Anna. I like being here tonight."
The princess blushed and smiled back at her boyfriend. The colour of her hair matched her face. Anna grabbed his hand and pulled him away. They headed straight into the crowed full of parting people. Pleased and friendly conversations and music could be heard all around them. The smell of delicious food and wine filled the air.
"I am so happy you came here. There are sooo many things I wanted to show you. Uhh I know were we can start we do have chocolate muffins over there. Let's go!"
Kristoff didn't expect to have so much fun at the ball. At first, they ate muffins and cake. The ice harvester had to admit all of the sweet treats were really good. Afterwards the young couple went to the dance floor. He and Anna had been dancing for hours now. Although he was not the perfect dancer, Anna didn't seem to mind and laughed all the time at his attempts to spin her around. The young man smiled all the time. Somehow he and Anna didn't feel ashamed though they stumbled rather awkwardly around. They didn't even notice the shocked glances the other couples shot at them. Anna and Kristoff were in their own little world.
"I think I'm getting a little thirsty", said redheaded girl.
Kristoff looked at her. A warm smile on his lips. His brown eyes sparkled warmly.
"No wonder. We have been dancing for hours now. I am on my way, Your Highness. I will fetch you the finest cup of beverage I can find.", Kristoff laughed and bowed mockingly.
A few minutes ago the young couple had laughed about two other royals. The man had tried to serve the girl lots of different kinds of food, just to get her attention. However, the girl ate all the food yet she didn't seem to care about the unfortunate man. All he tried, he tried in vain. Now the ice harvester was mockingly mimicking the man's behaviour.
"Stop it Kristoff. It's not nice to make fun of the poor man."
Anna looked a little angry at her boyfriend. (As far as Anna can even look angry.) Her hands were pressed into her side. Kristoff felt a little guilty.
"Promise, I will. I be right back."
With these words Kristoff went away to the buffet.
Hot Chocolate? Normally Anna loved hot chocolate, but what if she felt hot from dancing, would she still like to drink some? Maybe water? This would help her thirst way better, but what if Anna didn't like some water now? Kristoff could get some wine as well, he thought. He grabbed a bottle of white one. As far as he could recall the young princess liked it better than red one. While he was still pondering about what to pick for Anna, Kristoff suddenly heard two male voices quietly talking with each other.
"Don't worry why should she say no", the first voice said.
A blond man in a dark blue suit with a cloud emblem on his chest was standing next to another man. He held his hand on his shoulders to encourage him.
"But what if she does!"
The other sounded a little desperate. Kristoff became a more curious. He didn't know why, but he wanted to know what was going on. Normally he hated royal affairs. The other man was dressed similar to the blonde in the dark suit. The two most significant differences were he hand reddish brown hair and a howling wolf was embedded in front of the thunderstorm cloud on his chest. Thunderstorm cloud? This must be the Thunder-Brothers, Kristoff concluded.
"Listen to me, Anna will not say no!"
God that man didn't even know how to pronounce the name of princess. He didn't say Ahna. But rather Anna, like an American would do. These stupid little royals didn't even bother to ask if they say the name of their princess correct. Suddenly Kristoff recognized that the second man was the one who had danced with his girlfriend when he had entered the ball room.
"Rover, I don't think so. I know Anna would not except my proposal."
Anna, they were talking about his girlfriend!
"Don't be silly Grover. Anna will marry you! Why wouldn't she?"
Anna MARRING GROVER! This can't be! This simply can't be! Kristoff took a few steps back. Until he banged into a table. His vision seemed to narrow. All he could see were these dreaded men.
"You know why!", the broken man said.
The expression in Grover's face showed he wasn't as sure of his brother's words as Rover. Then the blond man continued. Kristoff didn't expect this whole evening could take a more dreadful turn. Yet somehow it did.
"I have to get to Princess Hannah now. I have been away to long already. Grover you should go to the stables to harass that very peculiar Finsterwald servant."
Kristoff was frozen in his place. Not only did this monster want to marry Anna … for what? His personal gain? But he was also going to take advantage of a small foreign servant and in doing so betraying Anna. Grover Thunder growled at his brother who was on his way to the crown princess of Finsterwald, but then he left the room. Rover turned towards Kristoff.
"Are you alright, Sir. Can I help you somehow?", the blond man asked.
Without saying something the ice harvester turned around and fled. He … he had to get away … from … from this!
