Hello ever faithful readers! If you don't read the sequel to this story, She Was My Parabatai (if you don't check it out on my profile!), then I haven't seen you for three years! Once again I just want to thank you for all the love that you've given this story. Really, I would have stopped writing it if people didn't care. Because it's the love that people have given to my stories that gives me inspiration to write more!
With that I announce Parabatai: Beginnings a short story collection of Clizzy's backstory on their road to becoming Parabatai! Check out the link below (or go to my profile) if you're interested and read an excerpt below!

Suddenly, the sand pit shovel collided with Jace's head and he burst out into tears. A little girl with black hair was the wielder of the shovel. She pushed the blond down and picked up my doll from the sand. She dusted the ragdoll off before handing it back to me.
"Here you go," she said. "Jace is a meanie. I'm Izzy." She gave me a smile that showed off her missing front tooth.
I took the doll back from her as Jace ran inside screaming for his father. "I'm Clary." I smiled back at her.
