091: Failure

"You're calling this a failure, right?" Gabriel asked as he looked up from the lackluster cake that he and Castiel had just pulled out of the oven.
Castiel looked up from the cake and shrugged his shoulders. "Well, I'm not sure if I should call it a failure or a learning exercise."
Gabriel blinked. "Well, it didn't turn out well, right? So isn't that a failure?"
Castiel was silent before responding. "Not exactly because next time we know what not to do."
Gabriel just stared at the other. "Well, I suppose that works." He glanced down at the cake in his hands. "What do I want to do with it?"
Castiel turned away from Gabriel and back to the mixing bowl. "Set it aside and help me start on the new one."
Gabriel nodded as he set it down on the counter before moving to help Castiel with the newest one. Castiel was right, it was a learning process and this next one should turn out better and he couldn't wait to see.
