Gallifrey.

Otherwise nicknamed the Utopia of the Shining Eternity, as those of Magical origin remember it.

The Doctor`s childhood home resurrected.

Rather an artificial 'Reality Marble' created from Dalek-Science, a replica of the planet floating upon the void of Akasha itself at the heart of all creation.

An ever-distant utopia that never was.

Merlin was far more like the Doctor than he wanted to admit.

An eccentric ancient 'wizard' who has watched over humankind out of love, interfering with Earth`s history like a lunatic to be remembered as a legend himself.

Only the regret the Magus of Flowers was burdened with on the inside was like the Doctor too. The unforgettable regret of being unable to save everyone...especially a certain young girl who pulled out the Sword In the Stone.

At this moment, this punishing regret had returned back to Merlin as he watched the Knights of the Round Table launch into battle...understanding these champions of Camelot would not survive what was about to come. Although what else was there to do when creation itself was about to end?

"You shall face me, archenemy of the Doctor!" Sir Bedivere of the Round Table distracted the Master as the other knights surrounded him.

The Master was barely acknowledging their presence, looking at Mordred instead. "Ah, the girl-Mordred! ...I admit, your legend as the Knight of Treachery is still one I quite admire. The failed overthrow of the king, magnificent!"

"...You never know when to be quiet, do you?" Mordred grimaced, wielding Clarent valiantly. "Time to die!"

The Master was one who could never understand the meaning of being a healer. The legends of Earth to him are merely stories to be used as inspiration during his conquest of the universe, unlike the Doctor who had taken the precious time to understand the humans behind the legends.

It was this never-ending kindness of the healer that attracted everyone of Magical origin to him, a symbol of hope despite his origins as an alien-outsider.

One who others are more than willing to walk upon the battlefield with, should it mean saving all of Akasha.

This was what the Knights of the Round Table aspired to do.

"Dead End Argetlam (Flash, Silver Arm)!"

Sir Bedivere activated his Divine Construct-blade, beginning this last battle on Gallifrey.

Shirou was unable to activate Unlimited Blade Works (Infinite Creation of Swords) anymore.

After the boy manifested his Reality Marble to battle the Master before, he had exhausted himself to being only able to Project single blades at a time.

"...Only the Doctor never needed blades to save the universe." Shirou defended with Kanshou/Bakuya as he launched at the Cyber-Controller.

The others of the Magic-alliance assisted the boy as the battle continued to a stalemate, the inner bridge of the Dalek-mothership becoming a weaving conflagration of steel.

Aside from the teleportation abilities of its Cyber-Blade, the Controller`s body was protected by reinforced Anti-Magic armor too. Zelretch had explained before the Cyber-Controller`s mind was uploaded with knowledge of every sword-technique created throughout space-time, the ultimate swordsman of Science.

"The reverse of my ability to create blades..."

Shirou Projected the demonic katana named Myoujingiri, the blade forged by the legendary swordsmith Sengo Muramasa.

A sword Shirou was able to create after journeying in the TARDIS throughout space-time.

The katana made a beautiful clanging sound as Shirou stabbed at the Cyber-Controller, who moved to defend.

"...Alert." the Controller hastily identified Shirou`s swordsmanship-style, searching through its mental library of blade-techniques for the best counter-strategy before Scientifically computing what was needed to ascertain victory. "Defense calibration complete."

The Cyber-Controller used an ancient Gallifreyan blade-technique Shirou never witnessed before, the alien-swordsmanship staggering the boy until his katana shattered from the force of the counter-attack.

Shirou retreated to recover, never expecting to come upon one who is able to perfectly counter his infinite creation of swords...

"Emergency. You are identified as the Magical-equivalent of the Doctor." the Cyber-Controller began focusing its onslaught on Zelretch. "Maximum deletion on sight is necessary."

"Oh?" Zelretch blasted the Controller with arcane Magecraft, only the Cyberman merely used its teleportation-blade to displace the spells back at him. Exhaustion from the battlefield before had worn the elderly Wizard Marshall, gasping for breath as he battled the Controller to a stalemate. "Whatever happened to the rule of never meddle in the affairs of wizards!?"

Emiya Kiritsugu in the meantime was checking the unconscious Gray was safe, hidden beneath a piloting console before using the chaos to head stealthily for the TARDIS.

The Doctor`s box stood behind a force-field barrier created from solidified light. Kiritsugu carefully stabbed the combat-knife that was his other Noble Phantasm Phantasm Punishment (Mystery Bisection) into the barrier only to hesitate. The knife blade was slowly disintegrating into nothingness...an Anti-Magic barrier? Then only a Science-based outside force could affect it...

The Controller had stabbed Zelretch in the head, causing the Wizard Marshall to collapse lifelessly before looking at Kiritsugu. "Emergency. The TARDIS is to be defended above all."

Kiritsugu instinctively blasted at the Cyber-Controller with his Contender-pistol, only for the shot to merely scratch its armor.

"Activate spacial-displacement." the Controller brandished its Cyber-Blade to create an ominous flare of light, slowly enshrouding the -

"Oh, I think not!" Morgan Le Fay hastily casted a Magecraft spell, stopping the Controller from teleporting everyone off the mothership like it did to the Knights of the Round Table.

"This couldn`t continue on." Shirou recognized ominously. There was nothing Magical in origin able to affect the Cyber-Controller, with the TARDIS being so close to rescue. What was there to do...?

No...

What would the Doctor do here?

The nameless traveler once told Shirou anyone could be a warrior...only it would take far more to become a healer...

"A healer..."

It was at this moment Shirou finally understood what needed to be done.

The boy hastily Projected the Doctor`s sonic-screwdriver, aiming it to send a blast of sound at the Controller. "Oi, Cyber-Controller! I suppose since the Doctor is not around, I am going to have to be his substitute!"

"An illogical distraction." the Controller viciously stabbed at a hastily retreating Morgan. "You are not the Doctor, you would never be the - "

Once more, a sonic-blast came from the screwdriver caused the Controller to finally focus on Shirou. "...Alert. Sonic-device is excessively interfering with unit-function. Conclusion...delete origin of interference."

The Controller teleported before Shirou, disarming the boy of the sonic-screwdriver.

Shirou gave a Doctor-like smile despite everything, carefully moving backward until he stood before the force-field barrier surrounding the TARDIS. The rest of the Magic-alliance hesitated bewilderingly only Shirou stealthily indicated everyone stay back, unexpectedly stopping this battle. "Oh, I know I am not the lunatic the Doctor is...only he is one who I strangely admire. The endless journey to save everyone despite all the pain that would come with it..."

"An illogical answer..." the Controller was solely focused on the boy, pointing its blade at his head. "One could never save everyone. The Doctor too has failed in this futile desire throughout his incarnations. This battle on Gallifrey is evidence of that, considering all those lost. A healer to others would merely destroy oneself instead. This is the conclusion of the Cybermen. What meaning would you therefore have by continuing to call yourself like the Doctor?"

Shirou sighed, giving a weary smile. "It is all I have, I suppose...like the promise the Doctor made to be a healer."

A long silence descended upon the mothership.

The Cyber-Controller had enough of this sentimental philosophy, stabbing at Shirou although the boy hastily lowered his head so the blade impaled through the force-field barrier instead.

The Doctor himself would had admired this trickery. Although the force-field was made to defend from Magic, Shirou had hypothesized it was secretly fragile to Science-based forces. This did indeed happen as the Cyber-Blade piercing it caused the barrier to malfunction before deactivating in a flare of light.

The Controller hesitated at its mistake until Sakura summoned her Imaginary Numbers to enshroud the whole room in a cloud of solidified darkness as a distraction.

"...Move!" Kiritsugu picked up the unconscious Gray, launching towards the TARDIS with everyone else.

"...I couldn`t believe that worked..." The Doctor`s box automatically opened for her pilot`s allies, with Shirou the last one in to hastily shut the doors behind.

There was no time to awaken Gray for this. A regenerated Zelretch began operating the TARDIS console as everyone gathered inside, having a basic understanding of the time-machine from observing the Doctor before. After the TARDIS escaped, Gray would have to handle the rest of the piloting as the Doctor`s companion. Although...

"The TARDIS...is not dematerializing..." Zelretch faltered in alarm. "I...don`t understand, I did everything I watched the Doctor do before, why is it - !?"

Shirou desperately threw himself at the console, activating his Projection Magecraft.

"Trace...On!"

The boy staggered backward, barely able to stay conscious as his mind was overloaded.

"The TARDIS...I could Trace it this time!?"

The normally unTraceable alien-TARDIS was indeed able to be understood by Magecraft for the first time.

Unknown to everyone, the sentient TARDIS was becoming desperate enough to escape from this Dalek-mothership to save her precious pilot that she is willing to be affected by Magic. The TARDIS did limit what Shirou was able to Trace about her, otherwise the boy`s brain would had fatally collapsed from the sheer eldritch alien-knowledge no Magic-based lifeform was able to withstand.

"Senpai...what is it!?" Sakura stopped the boy from falling unconscious. "What happened?"

"The TARDIS..." Shirou began operating the console himself to make modifications like the Doctor would do. "From what I could understand of her inner workings, there is an outside force stopping her from dematerialization. I think it has to do with the Dalek-mothership..."

Zelretch wielded his Jeweled Sword to scan the surroundings like the Doctor did with the sonic-screwdriver. "...This interior of this mothership resides within a Science-based pocket-universe...the TARDIS must not be able to dematerialize as the abnormal landscape is interfering with her already downgraded systems."

"What could we do then?" Kiritsugu gently set the unconscious Gray on the console room`s ground.

"I...do not know." Zelretch hastily indicated outside the TARDIS. "A sufficient enough space-time distortion to this mothership`s pocket-universe should enable the TARDIS to dematerialize, only -

An alarm began to sound throughout the TARDIS. "What...?" Zelretch looked helplessly at the console, not understanding anything here. "The console-monitor...the readings indicate the TARDIS is being teleported elsewhere deeper into this Dalek-mothership. The Cyber-Controller must be making certain we would not escape."

More alarms began to sound, then the console room began to creak ominously like everything on the time-machine`s insides was about to collapse.

"Where in the name of the Root are we?" Rin headed towards the doors, carefully opening it...

A flare of blinding supernova-like light bloomed throughout the console-room, causing the girl to instinctively close the doors.

It was like the TARDIS had been teleported into the heart of the sun itself.

Although...that could only mean...

"The Controller dropped the TARDIS into the Dalek-mothership`s Eye of Harmony!?" Shirou gasped.

From what the boy could understand, the Doctor`s box is unable to survive this conflagration of nuclear chaos. The Controller must have been desperate enough to stop the TARDIS from escaping to the point it was willing to destroy the time-machine instead.

The TARDIS became deafening with the sound of alarms, space-time distorting within the console room as a scream of silent agony resonated throughout the ancient 'Alien Construct'.

The Eye of Harmony was indeed one of the only forces in the universe potentially able to obliterate a TARDIS of Gallifrey.

There was absolutely naught anyone within the Doctor`s box could do to stop it.

Nothing at all...

Arcadia.

The sentimental place on Gallifrey where the final battle of the Last Great Time War descended.

The battle in which the 'Doctor of War' chose to steal a certain 'Moment', ending the 'Final War of the Temporal Heavens'.

Although all this history was lost on the ultimate soldier of humankind from the far future named Ado Edem. A silent protector who defended Earth from the planetary-Type Ultimate Ones in the universe he originated from. A universe which had lost the will to live, with Magic itself dying as nothing more than a memory...

What the Doctor did to the recruit this soldier of the far future into saving the rest of Akasha would remain a mystery...

No one knew what Ado Edem thought of this as he floated in the sky, watching the Knights of the Round Table face the Master below at the ancient ruins of Arcadia. The radiant flare of light from all the Round Table`s Noble Phantasms could be sighted from outer space itself, only this tragically beautiful sight was lost to him.

All that was needed here was the death of the avatar of the Type-Gallifrey named the Master...which Ado Edem was more than willing to fulfill.

A sword-like blade materialized to be wielded by this ultimate soldier. The legendary blade of the far future, known only as the Slash Emperor.

"Eh?" the Master stopped mid-battle as did everyone else. "What is this...!?"

The surface of Gallifrey was trembling like an earthquake, molten debris from throughout the landscape strangely being slowly vacuumed up into the air to be absorbed into Slash Emperor. The terraforming blade began lengthening higher into the sky as it continued absorbing the earth, eating at the planet itself. A construct forged to slay Type-Ultimate Ones.

"The eldritch sword which is the embodiment of future-humankind, one able to outshine Excalibur..." Merlin paled, his heart nearly stopping from fear.

The Master began to pale despite himself. "Oh, dear...I do not think I myself am able to regenerate for quite a long time after being touched by that 'blade'..."

"You...wouldn`t?" Bedivere hesitated, looking silently at all the Knights of the Round Table.

"Only that is theoretical!" the Master sheathed the Sword of Gallifrey before giving a bow, slowly retreating backward out of cowardliness. "I have escaped death more than once throughout my incarnations, after all. What I merely need to do here is teleport far into outer space outside of that blade`s range, then everything would be - "

Bedivere unexpectedly launched himself at the Master, stabbing him with in the chest his sword.

"Everything is all going to be okay, eh?" Lancelot impaling the Master too with Arondight, further staggering the madman as all the other knights launched themselves to stop him from making an escape.

At this moment the Slash Emperor had lengthened until it appeared larger than the planet Gallifrey itself, the blade tip disappearing far into the void of outer space as Ado Edem readied to descend the blade upon the earth.

"Merlin...you have to retreat!" Sir Kay was restraining the Master onto ground with the Round Table. "Survive all this, save the rest of Akasha!"

"I..." Merlin hesitated reluctantly, the memories of the fall of Camelot returning to mind.

"Akasha would re-boot itself once the Alter is defeated, remember?" Galahad disarmed the Sword of Gallifrey from the Master. "You have to live on to make certain of that moment!"

Ryougi Shiki began pulling Merlin away, assisted by Aoko Aozaki.

"Good luck, you old wizard!" Mordred was laughing like a berserker, dropping Clarent to begin strangling the Master. "Remember to say hello to the Doctor for me!"

"Sir Doctor, my dear!" Sir Bedivere could not help to give a gentle smile, memories of when that eccentric madman visited Camelot flooding to mind.

"...Time to go." The Archetype-Earth in Arcueid`s body activated her Marble Phantasm, teleportingeveryone else to a safe distance.

Ado Edem had lengthened the Slash Emperor to its maximum, enshrouding the whole planet of Gallifrey in the blade`s shadow.

The ultimate soldier of humankind would certainly die himself after unleashing this blade from exhaustion, his corpse destroyed from the sheer devastation of the aftermath. Although this warrior silently did not falter at all.

This was what the future was supposed to be.

"You...▂▂▃▃▄▄▅▅!" the Master gave a monstrous howl of fury.

On the ground, the Round Table continued to restrain the Master. Bedivere. Lancelot. Percival. Kay. Gawain. Tristan. Gaheris. Gareth. Palamedes. Agravain. Mordred. Galahad. All these resurrected noble champions of Camelot were covered in wounds, armor irreparably cracked with their blades scattered on the earth.

Only not a single Knight of the Round Table revealed a moment of cowardliness on the battlefield, unlike the screaming Master.

This valiant courage in the name of their sovereign king...Artoria Pendragon.

"Your Majesty...all of this for you..." Sir Bedivere sighed, completely at peace.

Ado Edem launched the Slash Emperor.

Altrouge Brunestud.

The Eclipse Princess of Blood who happened to be the 'other' daughter of the Type-Moon. The lesser-known older sister of Arcueid herself.

"...My...this is certainly unforgivable."

At this moment, Altrouge was standing within the Dalek-mothership`s engine-room to glare at the heart of the alien-spacecraft. When the Magic-alliance battled through the mothership towards the bridge, Altrouge herself had sneaked away to return into this heart of the engine-room.

Zelretch did warned not to destroy the Eye of Harmony as it would crash the Dalek-mothership, only Altrouge could not resist her inner bloodlust. After all...this ship needed to be destroyed anyway in this battle on Gallifrey.

"The Eye of Harmony...what a strange name, considering it is being used to destroy Akasha here in the chaotic name of Science..." Altrouge glared skywards at the majestic temporal-supernova, vampiric-self barely able to withstand the scorching sunlight.

Altrouge remembered the first time she came upon the Doctor. The stranger who landed his TARDIS on the Moon where she was hibernating for nothing more than to conduct a 'science experiment' on the theory of 'Saberface', whatever that was supposed to be.

Although she would like nothing more than to slay the Doctor herself, Altrouge understood the Root could not survive without the alien-stranger to save it at the moment. Therefore, the Eclipse Princess chose to have her vengeance on all those other forces of Science plaguing the universe instead.

"What...is..." Altrouge hesitated, sighting the Doctor`s TARDIS appearing within the Eye of Harmony from out of nowhere, screaming a silent death-cry from inside the nuclear chaos. "Ah...my hatred of the Doctor must be causing me to imagine his box everywhere..."

What the Eclipse Princess did not know was the TARDIS before her was not all that imaginary as she thought.

Regardless, it was time to end this.

Altrouge knew she would not survive what was about to happen...only at least her berserk vampiric-mind would be at peace to finally have vengeance on those who desecrated this beautiful universe of Magic.

"...Pretend this Eye of Harmony is the Doctor himself..." Altrouge approached the majestic supernova, her body slowly vaporizing into a flaming skeleton from the overwhelming light. "I hope you are ready to die, Doctor..."

The Eclipse Princess of Blood never hesitated, gathering the legacy of the Type-Moon into this moment.

It was last Altrouge could do, after all...

"Marble Phantasm (Fantasy Manifestation)!"

Magic was an abnormality that should never be.

This was what the Cyber-Controller thought, standing alone in the silent bridge of the Dalek-mothership.

The absolute logic of Science is what ruled the rest of the universe ...not a supernatural force slowly stagnating over human history on a single planet. It was illogical for humankind to continue this foolish desire to witness Magic survive when Science is far more suitable in the future. Therefore, the Cybermen rather thought of themselves as saving humankind from the irrationality of Magic by erasing Akasha itself.

It was what the ancient Time Lords of Gallifrey once did in the Doctor`s home-universe, after all.

Although the question remained, why would these Magical-lifeforms continue to sacrifice themselves to protect Akasha when it was all meaningless to the end? "...Conclusion, this universe of Magic is one the Cybermen could never understand..."

An alarm sounded throughout the bridge.

The Controller hesitated, inspecting a monitor on a piloting console. The Dalek-mothership`s Eye of Harmony was being extinguished by an abnormal Magical force?

"A...Marble Phantasm?"

This should not be, the TARDIS with its occupants had all been teleported by it into the Eye of Harmony to be obliterated...

The Controller instinctively looked up to command the Cyber-Legions, only it then remembered all the Cybermen throughout the Dalek-mothership had already been defeated.

Therefore...

The Cyber-Controller was the last living Cyberman remaining in this whole multiverse of Magic.

This conclusion caused the final Iron-Wrought Solder to stop stoically in thought.

The Dalek-mothership was slowly about to crash onto Gallifrey from the dying Eye of Harmony. What worse is the temporal-supernova contained within the Eye of Harmony was collapsing too, creating an explosion afterward that would obliterate a whole universe. Gallifrey would certainly be destroyed by this only since the planet was floating around the immeasurable empty void that was the gateway to Akasha, nothing else would be affected.

The Citadel of Gallifrey on the planet where the Doctor is doing battle with his Alter-self was inside another pocket-universe, protected from the aftermath.

The Master too is going to survive from his temporal-immortality, although all other lifeforms would not...unless...

"The TARDIS is necessary..."

The Controller reached into a piloting console for a vortex-manipulator. A vortex-manipulator created by the Doctor Alter should the Master reveal his treacherous nature by stealing the TARDIS before the battle on Gallifrey was over.

When activated, the manipulator was programmed to breach the defenses of the TARDIS, teleporting the wearer into the console room to re-take the Doctor`s time-machine.

"The last of the Cybermen has to survive..."

The Cyber-Controller began to activate the vortex-manipulator...

The materializing TARDIS was the most beautiful sound in the Doctor`s home-universe.

The sound that would bring hope to all who are in need of a healer.

At this moment the sound of the TARDIS emergency dematerialization resonated throughout the console room, surprising the Magic-alliance within it. The cacophony of the Doctor`s time-machine incinerating within the Eye of Harmony had unexpectedly disappeared to be replaced by a tranquil silence.

"I...we...are alive?" Shirou hesitated bewilderingly.

Zelretch looked at the console-monitor, not understanding too. "I do think we are, my dear. The Eye of Harmony must had been affected by an outside force enough that it created a temporal distortion, giving the TARDIS time to escape..."

The TARDIS beeped, indicating it had made an emergency auto-landing at a safe location. Rin carefully re-opened the doors to reveal the box re-materialized inside the empty bridge of the Dalek-mothership, with the Cyber-Controller strangely disappeared.

Zelretch looked at the console-monitor as everyone recovered. "The TARDIS has to conduct emergency repairs on herself before it could dematerialize outside the mothership."

Ayaka Sajyou slowly walked about the TARDIS console, shivering as the burden of everything that happened began to take its toll on her. All the girl wanted was to have a peaceful life with her fallen Saber named Arthur Pendragon...only that dream was lost with his death.

The Doctor had explained Akasha was going to theoretically 're-boot' itself once the Alter was defeated, re-writing the multiverse`s timeline so all of this never happened, with only everyone`s memories remaining afterward.

Although the memories of the Master-clone army on the battlefield shall scar Ayaka.

The ones who ended the life of Saber.

A phantom pain that never was.

Only time would heal all wounds, as the Doctor himself shall observe...

The TARDIS began to sound an alarm.

"...What is it!?" Zelretch stepped backwards bewilderingly. "I - ah...!"

A metal blade of a sword bursted from the Wizard Marshall`s chest, causing him to once more collapse lifelessly onto the ground.

The Cyber-Controller had stealthily teleported into the TARDIS from out of nowhere.

"Vortex-manipulator breach complete." the Controller impaled Zelretch in the head too, making certain he would not regenerate for a long time. "Begin deletion of all occupants in the TARDIS before supernova collapse."

"You...!" Ayaka readied for battle with everyone else. "What do you mean supernova collapse?"

"The destruction of this Dalek-mothership`s Eye of Harmony has caused the temporal-supernova contained in it to overload into a spacial-collapse." The TARDIS gave a distressed beep as the Controller pointed its blade at the console, indicating no one move. "This mothership would then crash-land on Gallifrey before creating a space-time explosion capable of obliterating a whole universe. Therefore the TARDIS is needed to escape."

Gallifrey is about to be destroyed?

"We have to rescue the rest of the alliance on the planet before the Dalek-mothership crash-lands there..." Kiritsugu recognized, staring at the Controller. This last Cyberman has to be defeated first, although a battle inside the console room would certainly damage the TARDIS...not to mention there would be no time to dematerialize the box afterward to escape the explosion.

"The only place to slay the Cyber-Controller is the bridge of the Dalek-mothership outside while the TARDIS itself escapes to the surface..." Morgan Le Fay discerned, looking silently at the open TARDIS doors.

"Only that would mean whoever defeats the Controller is going to die in the crash-landing afterward..." Kiritsugu concluded grimly.

The TARDIS gave a resonating beep to reveal its emergency repairs have concluded, ready to dematerialize.

A long silence passed, with the Magic-alliance facing the Cyber-Controller to see who would move first.

"...Saber..." Ayaka finally whispered. King Arthur had told the girl before his death to live on, remembering the legacy of the Once Future King.

Although at this moment...

"Forgive me..."

Ayaka summoned crow-like feathers with her signature Witchcraft to shoot at the Cyber-Controller like otherworldly arrows.

The Controller staggered from the spell as the girl launching herself towards the console, the sword of the Cyber-Blade stabbing at her head the moment she pulled the TARDIS dematerialization lever.

The last Ayaka Sajyou did in life was to give a smile of sorrowful victory, valiantly accepting her death like Saber on the battlefield.

Shirou gave a howl of vengeance, flying at the Controller as the TARDIS began dematerialization.

"You...!"

The Cyberman merely deflected the boy`s blades before grabbing him by the head, throwing Shirou out the open TARDIS doors onto bridge of the mothership.

"Senpai!" Sakura summoned the remnants of Angra Mainyu within her, restraining Controller with chains made out of solidified darkness.

"Shirou!" Rin bombarded the incapacitated Controller with the strongest Gandr shot she could create.

The Controller was sent flying out of the TARDIS by the force of these Magecraft, with Rin and Sakura instinctively launching after it.

The TARDIS dematerialized behind these heroines, carrying the rest of the Magic-alliance inside towards the surface of Gallifrey.

"...Emergency, begin vortex-teleportation back to the TARDIS - " the Controller reached for its vortex-manipulator only Shirou staggered up to disarm it with Kanshou/Bakuya, sending the gadget onto the ground. Sakura hastily picked up the vortex-manipulator, staring at it strangely before looking at Rin. Her sister merely gave a solemn smile, pointing silently at the distracted Shirou.

"The TARDIS is gone!" Shirou glared furiously at the Controller. "You are going to die when this mothership crash-lands, the legacy of the Cybermen ending with you."

"...Although you all would be obliterated too!" the Controller stared, unable to understand the boy. "What meaning is there to this self-destructive sacrifice?"

Shirou merely gave a sentimental smile.

"Oh, this sacrifice is indeed meaningless...only at least it would be a beautiful ending for this sword, eh?"

This battlefield was a place where the darkness would stay the night.

The heroes of the past Holy Grail War stood alone, facing the iron-wrought Cyber-Controller to fulfill the promise of victory.

One who was a sword to protect others. One who had arisen to become the greatest of her ancestral name. One who overcame her inner darkness to bloom into an elegant flower.

It was like what the Doctor himself once told...that everyone was a story in the end...all that remains was to make certain it was a good one.

"I am the bone of my sword!" Shirou Projected Archer`s bow to snipe the arrow of Caladbolg (The Spiral Sword) as a Broken Phantasm.

"Emergency, activate defense calibration!" The Controller teleported from Shirou`s arrow, which blasted a crater into the already ruined heart of the mothership.

Sakura activated her Imaginary Number Magecraft, distorting space throughout the room so the Controller could not use its teleportation-blade to an advantage anymore.

"Fine...I suppose I have to destroy everything here after all!" Rin activated her ancestral Magic Crest to maximum overload, unleashing a supernova of Gandr-like Magecraft spells.

The Controller was barely able to defend from the onslaught, unable to teleport from Sakura`s interference to instead deflect the spells with its blade.

"I never know when to stop, do I?" At this moment, Rin certainly was the embodiment of the Tohsaka arch-magus, unsheathing the Azoth Sword she carried to blast the Controller with a laser-like flare of radiant light. "This my vengeance for Archer!"

"Angra Mainyu...I leave it all to you!" Sakura never thought she would be asking the remnants of All the Evils In the World within herself for aid...only this young flower was willing to carry this once-regretful burden to protect those she loved.

An ocean of shadows manifested on the mothership, flooding towards the Cyber-Controller while leaving Sakura`s loved ones unharmed.

The Controller defended from the ocean of malice with its blade, slowly overwhelmed to disappear underneath the solidified darkness.

"This would not stop the Controller for long, being a machine who couldn`t be corrupted by Angra Mainyu`s evil." Sakura was barely able to restrain All the Evils In the World inside her, looking at the others. "What should we do - ?"

An explosion bloomed from deep within the Dalek-mothership, causing everyone to stagger.

"This spacecraft is about to begin crashing at any moment...we have to defeat the Cyber-Controller to make certain it would not escape before then." Rin gasped for breath, over-strained from unleashing her Magecraft all at once. "I wouldn`t like to admit it, only I am about to deplete myself here..."

Shirou grimaced, acknowledging he too was becoming exhausted after summoning Unlimited Blade Works to battle the Master on Gallifrey. What would the Doctor do here? The madman would certainly think of a Scientific-based answer to be victorious in this battle, being the reluctant warrior he is...only Shirou himself was not a scientist. The best the boy could do was Project whatever the Doctor wielded to save the universe with, like Archer did as an Iron-Wrought Hero...

"Project whatever the Doctor..."

An epiphany descended upon Shirou, using Projection Magecraft to manifest the Doctor`s sonic-screwdriver.

"Shirou? What are you - eh!?" The others gasped as the boy Projected a sonic-screwdriver for each of them too, the alien-gadget an anachronistic presence to these magi.

"The moment the Controller escapes from Angra Mainyu, aim the screwdriver to blast it with sound." Shirou hastily taught the others on the gadget`s operations.

The Cyber-Controller at this time pierced through the ocean of darkness, returning back unscathed. "This battle remains a futile sacrifice to the end. Science is what shall rule over the future, never the illogical stagnation that is Magic. You are an abnormality of this Earth to continue this foolishness, as the Doctor is too."

"I suppose a fool is what I am from the beginning, eh?" Shirou merely smiled calmly. "As the Doctor himself would say at this moment... Geronimo!"

The heroes of the Holy Grail War moved as one, all pointing their Projected sonic-screwdrivers at the Cyber-Controller to blast it with a cacophony of solidified sound.

The Controller staggered back, its Anti-Magic armor slowly cracking from the Science-based soundwaves it was unable to defend from.

After an eternity later, the sound of breaking metal resonated throughout the room as the Controller`s adamantine defenses finally collapsed to send iron-wrought steel flying everywhere.

"Emergency! My armor...unable to repair..." the weakened Controller staggered before recovering, launching desperately at the heroes with its Cyber-Blade.

Clang!

Shirou was barely able to protect from being stabbed by the sword, Projecting Kanshou/Bakuya to defend himself.

"I shall not fall!" The Controller continued its onslaught, weaving a lethal symphony of steel to unleash all of its alien-swordsmanship upon the boy. "The legacy of the Cybermen must survive!"

Shirou gave a cry of pain as the Controller overwhelmed him, crashing onto the ground. The Controller stood grievously over him, brandishing the Cyber-Blade as the bringer of cold-hearted death.

"Watch out!" Rin impaled the Controller from behind with the Azoth Sword as it stabbed towards Shirou, igniting the Cyberman from the inside out with overloaded Magic until her blade was irreparably cracked.

Sakura finally summoned the last she could of Angra Mainyu as an ocean of spears created from darkness, piercing the rest of the Controller`s body until it was covered in blooming blades.

The Controller recovered at lightning-speed, using the last of its teleportation to move backward before viciously impaling the girls in the chest.

"No!" Shirou howled.

"Maximum deletion...!"

The Controller stalked towards Shirou victoriously with its Cyber-Blade.

The boy picked himself up from the ground to focus the last of his strength on Projection Magecraft, summoning from his endless universe of blades a single sword that would completely obliterate the Controller`s defenses.

One which the fallen Archer himself would admire from the bottom of his heart.

A ceremonial royal blade manifested, wielded by Shirou in the name of the one who saved his life on the darkest night. The unforgettable night that began it all. The Noble Phantasm that began Shirou`s legend on the battlefield of the Holy Grail War.

The original Sword in the Stone from which the sovereign herself was born.

"Caliburn (Golden Sword of the Victorious)!"

A majestic light manifested, like the sun itself had descended.

A supernova which assured the hope of glory, wielded at this moment by the sentimental hero who promised to save all.

"▂▂▃▃▄▄▅▅!" The Cyber-Controller crashed backward with a mechanical death-cry.

Shirou grimaced as his Projected blade broke irreparably as it did in legend afterward, disapproving into nothingness. "I think that did it..."

The remaining interior of the Dalek-mothership`s room was absolutely obliterated, molten metal covering the place in the aftermath.

"You...emergency...unable..." the Controller had become a charcoal skeleton, its collapsed body covered in steel ashes that was once its Cyber-Blade.

The endless iron-wrought Cyber-Legions (Iron-Wrought Soldiers) that plagued Akasha throughout space-time was about to become no more.

Shirou walked over to the last Cyberman, looking at it with faint sympathy despite everything. "I pity you, Cyber-Controller...at the end, all you wanted was to 'heal' this universe by destroying the Magic you are never able to understand with Science. The Doctor is far more than a 'healer' than you ever would be..."

"A...healer...?" the Cyber-Controller was strangely at peace with the knowledge it had failed to fulfill victory.

A meaningless machine to the end.

"I...do not...understand..."

The Cyber-Controller became silent for eternity.

Shirou gave a weary smile to collapse, barely conscious.

The boy had completely exhausted himself on this battlefield on Gallifrey, unable to continue onward.

The devastated mothership began to crash towards the planet Gallifrey below, its Eye of Harmony about to overload at any moment.

"Good grief...when this is over, I am going to break the Doctor`s face for all this chaos..." Rin in the meantime had conducted emergency healing Magecraft to survive with Sakura. "I mean, the old lunatic could never stop crashing into our lives after everything! Although...I suppose that is fine..."

Shirou laughed solemnly, acknowledging this was the end. "You never know when to stop, do you Rin?"

"What? I...er...I do not understand what you are going about!" Rin blushed furiously.

"Senpai...you certainly do have this strange presence that brings out the best in others, like the Doctor does too." Sakura knelt down by Shirou, gently healing his wounds with Magecraft. "I think that is why I was willing to give myself up to protect you..."

"...Me too, Sakura..." Shirou merely smiled at this childhood flower.

There was absolutely nothing these heroes could do to survive the Eye of Harmony`s supernova. Those who became companions of the Doctor had risen as healers themselves to save the universe...only all stories have to come to an end.

Shirou gasped, bewildered as Rin and Sakura unexpectedly embraced him at once. "Eh? What are you - ?"

"Senpai...you have to live on..." Sakura hastily attached the vortex-manipulator she picked up from before to Shirou.

"I would have wanted to stay to watch this ending, although I suppose you have to go on alone..." Rin pressed the button on the vortex-manipulator.

Shirou hesitated, slowly becoming ghostly pale to understand what was about to happen. "Rin! Sakura! You...!"

"Shirou...I love - " the girls spoke as one although Emiya Shirou disappeared in a flare, teleported back alone into the dematerialized TARDIS.

The Dalek-mothership finally crash-landed on Gallifrey, covering all in the devastation of its temporal-supernova. The survivors onboard merely looked peacefully on as a majestic void of oblivion began spread from the Eye of Harmony. The song of these heroines was dying...only their story would never end.

"...Everything is going to be okay...I hope..." Sakura Matou whispered, courage blooming within her heart to accept this final moment.

"...Otherwise I think this 'sleep' would be a long one..." Rin Tohsaka answered with a valiant smile.

At this moment, the heroines of the Holy Grail War finally disappeared into nothingness.

The lonely darkness had stayed the night long enough...it was time to hopefully awaken once more to a beautiful future...

The battlefield had become peacefully silent on Gallifrey.

The peaceful silence of death upon the molten desert of ashes that was once Arcadia.

Merlin watched over this scarred landscape resembling the Battle of Camlann from a certain king`s legend. At the end, only despair would be manifested in the aftermath of those lost...

"...Gallifrey is about to fall once more..." the Archetype-Earth with Arceuid`s body spoke quietly.

"Eh?" Ryougi Shiki was stabbing the Master`s regenerating corpse on the ground with her knife, the Mystic Eyes of Death Perception unable to completely this villain because of his eldritch origin. "What do you mean - ?"

A deafening thunder caused everyone to look up in alarm at the sky. The faint silhouette of the Dalek-mothership was descending from the void of outer space, slowly about to crash-land upon Gallifrey below.

"...Oh, dear..." Aoko Aozaki paled ominously. "I think the - what is that sound?"

A mechanical wheezing sound had manifested from out of nowhere. The beautiful sound of hope in a land enshrouded by infinite darkness.

"The...TARDIS...?" Merlin gasped. The Doctor`s box was finally rescued? Only...where was it materializing at?

"Gallifrey shall fall...only its last child would wander on eternally..." Archetype-Earth remained calm as the others gasped bewilderingly.

The TARDIS was materializing around all of the Magic-alliance.

The ruined landscape of Arcadia disappeared, replaced by the otherworldly interior of the TARDIS console room.

"Emergency auto-pilot landing concluded..." A grieving Shirou was standing at the console, operating the time-machine with the knowledge from Tracing the TARDIS before.

Merlin discerned the regenerating Master too had been brought into the room by the TARDIS. There was no other choice here, otherwise the Doctor`s archenemy would escape in the chaos to plague the rest of space-time. At least the TARDIS was the key to defeating the Master here...theoretically.

Zelretch made certain the unconscious Gray was safely hidden within the darkness of the console room before looking at Shirou. "My dear boy...time to escape from this doomed Gallifrey."

"...Understood." Shirou continued to operate the console, silent from unthinkable sorrow.

This bloody vortex of the battlefield...when would it end?

The TARDIS dematerialized from artificial Gallifrey, disappearing far into the Void before everything became a supernova of oblivion.

Although the Magic-alliance within this lonely box did not rest...after all, there was still the Master to be defeated here.

The final battle to defeat this Time Lord Vainglorious would therefore be inside the Doctor`s TARDIS...

Gallifrey.

The Utopia of the Shining Eternity where the Doctor originated from.

Rather...an ever-distant dystopia of the lost.

When the Dalek-mothership finally crashed upon this fallen temporal-land, oblivion bloomed throughout the empty void...only all those in the TARDIS remained safe from this deathly chaos.

The childhood home of the Doctor once at the heart of the Last Great Time War become lost, with no 'Moment' to save the utopia this time.

Gallifrey had fallen once more...
