One could never have the Doctor without the darkness.

The darkness of all of the evils in the universe.

After all, what would a healer be without anything to heal? Only when the healer himself was unable to save the universe, the darkness would merely destroy all in the end.

The darkness named the Master.

The TARDIS was sentient, therefore she could be considered a Heroic Spirit herself.

A Heroic Spirit who was paradoxically a Noble Phantasm of the Doctor too.

"An Anti-Time Noble Phantasm...the only one to theoretically exist throughout Akasha..." Merlin concluded his explanation to everyone inside the TARDIS console room.

"Therefore the TARDIS is the only entity aside from the Doctor who could defeat the Master in this multiverse of Magic." Zelretch understood. "...Although...I do not think the time-machine is able to do anything in battle..."

Ryougi Shiki sighed to walk over to the Master`s regenerating corpse, stabbing it with her knife to slow down his healing body. "What are we supposed to do then, ask the TARDIS to weaken the Master for us with its alien-Science?"

Merlin gave a roguish smile. "You wouldn`t believe it, only I think that is what the TARDIS is doing at the moment."

"...What?" Aoko Aozaki hesitated. "What do you mean?"

The Wizard Marshall scanned the console room with his signature Jeweled Sword. "The TARDIS is such an unthinkable advanced 'Alien-Construct', she is able to manipulate the workings of Science itself within her interior...Gallifreyan alien-Science which could basically 'nullify' any Magic originating from our multiverse."

"Oh..." Morgan Le Fay understood. "Although the Master himself is an artificially-created Servant born from Science, all his Skills/Noble Phantasms are Magic-based in origin. Therefore..."

"The TARDIS is able to nullify the Master`s abilities, severely weakening him." Emiya Kiritsugu spoke silently. "The Master`s immortality so long as space-time itself exists in Akasha would be nullified too, as the TARDIS is a pocket-universe residing outside of this multiverse."

"...All of this means we could finally kill the Master..." Shirou whispered, vengeance born from grief flaring in his heart.

Zelretch inspected the console-monitor before giving a weary sigh. "The TARDIS is indeed secretly weakening the Master, although far too slowly...it could be the Master is far too eldritch as the avatar of Type-Gallifrey to completely nullify at once."

The TARDIS beeped, revealing a location on its monitor.

"...The engine-room where the Eye of Harmony is?" Shirou hesitated. "The TARDIS wants us to bring the Master to its heart?"

"The Eye of Harmony is the ultimate embodiment of alien-Science...therefore the place where the Master would be at his weakest." Zelretch recognized slowly. "The Master`s corpse...I think we have to move it where the TARDIS - "

A cry of pain caused everyone to look up. The Master had unexpectedly regenerated completely in less than a single moment, viciously blasting Ryougi Shiki aside with his laser-screwdriver.

"My...the Doctor has re-decorated the TARDIS... I love it!" the Doctor`s archenemy brandished the Sword of Gallifrey, reborn to plague all once more.

"You...!" Zelretch hastily indicated everyone stay back. The TARDIS console room was far too fragile a place for a battlefield. There had to be a solution to move the Master into the Eye of Harmony room without him destroying the rest of the TARDIS.

"Me, you decrepit old wizard." the Master laughed. "You brought me into the TARDIS itself after rescuing the time-machine, thinking it would defeat me? I suppose I should merely destroy you all as my coronation to become the ruler of the universe. Long live the king, eh?"

Shirou instinctively used Magecraft to Project his signature Kanshou/Bakuya, glaring with hatred at the Master. "You are not a ruler of anything!"

"Oh? I see you loathe me from the bottom of your heart, boy. What a pity you are..." the Master looked ominously at Shirou. "You do not understand hatred as I do. Only hatred is what causes me to remain alive. Why else should I endure all this pain throughout my incarnations? No one would ever understand what it is like being me...unless you are a certain madman with a box..."

It was at this time the Archetype-Earth in Arcueid`s body activated the almighty legacy of her ancestor, the Crimson Moon Brunestud.

Otherwise named the Type-Moon itself.

"Marble Phantasm (Fantasy Manifestation)!"

The Master hesitated in surprise, only to disappear in a flare of light.

"Arcueid, you..." Zelretch stared bewilderingly. The Archetype-Earth had teleported the Master into her lesser-known Reality Marble, named the Millennium Castle Brunestud. The original home of the Type-Moon before the rise of humankind.

"My Reality Marble would not contain the Doctor`s archenemy for long..." Archetype-Earth was solemn, readying for battle. "I myself would have to teleport inside the Millennium Castle to stop him from escaping outside."

An epiphany descended upon Merlin. "Miss..'Earth'. When you deactivate your Reality Marble, are you able to release its occupants at a specific place?"

"The heart of the TARDIS where the Eye of Harmony is..." Morgan Le Fay remembered. "We could move the Master there using Arcueid`s Reality Marble..."

"...I believe I could...only regrettably not when the Doctor`s archenemy is destroying my Reality Marble from the inside out at the moment." Archetype-Earth gave a grimace, detecting what the Master was doing within the Millennium Castle.

Zelretch chose to speak. "I could use my 'Operation of Parallel Worlds' to move Arcueid`s Reality Marble from the outside, only I need assistance to cast such a sophisticated spell...especially with my weakened vampiric-body."

Aoko Aozaki stood to activate her Magic Blue, the last True Magic of temporal-manipulation. "I am good at nothing unless it has to do with destruction, therefore I could aid Arcueid in battling the Master within the Millennium Castle."

"I suppose I should come too to watch everything." Ryougi Shiki stepped forward too.

"...Understood." Archetype-Earth gave one last sentimental look at the TARDIS console room. What a lonely child, the Doctor was with only a blue box to walk with him in eternity until the end...

Zelretch watched Arcueid disappear with Aoko and Ryougi into her Reality Marble before looking at everyone else. "Shirou, my dear boy...I believe you remember where the Eye of Harmony is?"

"...I do." Shirou spoke quietly, departing with the others to head deeper into the ancient 'Alien Construct'.

Only the unconscious Gray remained at the TARDIS console room, oblivious in her slumber to the descending darkness.

The Master was on the Moon.

A Moon covered in the ruined debris of a majestic lunar castle, an otherworldly sight in this sea of tranquility.

"...A Reality Marble, eh?" the Master scanned the landscape with his laser-screwdriver. "...What 'lunacy' this is when I should be celebrating my coronation..."

The Sword of Gallifrey was brandished in the air as the Master began using his space-time manipulation abilities to distort this Reality Marble, hastily destroying the Millennium Castle from the inside out to escape.

Although...

The Master hesitated, discerning his almighty Noble Phantasm was ever-slowly weakening...could it be the TARDIS was indeed using its Gallifreyan alien-Science to nullify all his abilities from the outside? "...I am a child of Gallifrey too, you ungrateful machine!"

A flare of light caused him to look up as Archetype-Earth teleported into the Reality Marble with Aoko and Ryougi. The heroines of those under the Moon all glared at the Doctor`s archenemy, the symbol of the universe`s despair to the healer`s hope.

"I couldn`t kill a Servant here, only at least I would be able to assist in destroying you." Ryougi Shiki sighed wearily, activating her Amalavijnana (Boundary of Emptiness). Otherwise named the Mystic Eyes of Death Perception.

The Master hesitated, acknowledging Ryougi was secretly the human avatar of the almighty 'Void'. The host of the embodiment of all creation. One who the Doctor himself was sincerely reluctant to ever come upon.

"This shall all end here, archenemy of the healer." the Archetype-Earth`s voice was quiet, only resonated throughout the landscape. "You have desecrated Akasha long enough...all Worlds throughout creation are screaming their death-cries from what your darkness has wrought."

"My dear 'Earth'." the Master laughed viciously. "My nickname back in the Doctor`s home-universe is Death`s Champion, after all."

The Archetype-Earth observed him for a moment before giving an answer. "A champion of death...only you yourself are afraid of the end more than anyone else...a cruel, cowardly being. I could see into your hearts like the Doctor himself...what a miserable Child of Time you would be without the healer in your life..."

"...You...!" A look of cold fury manifested on the Master, revealing the demon hidden on the inside. A cruel, cowardly destroyer who could never be victorious over a single healer throughout all his incarnations.

A laser from the Master`s screwdriver blasted at the Archetype-Earth, who merely deflected it calmly with her Marble Phantasm.

"You call yourself the ruler of the universe, only all you do is destroy!" Aoko Aozaki used her Magic Blue to accelerate time, launching towards the Master at lightning velocity to counter with martial-arts before blasting him with a bombardment of Magecraft-lasers.

The Master staggered as his elegant Victorian dress-suit was ruined only to gasp in horror, discerning his regenerative healing abilities ever-slowly began to disappear. "My temporal-immortality...it...the TARDIS..."

"The Doctor`s TARDIS is indeed nullifying your immortality." Aoko gave a roguish smile. "Once your regenerative healing disappears completely, you would become a 'mortal' avatar of Type-Gallifrey...able to finally die."

The almighty avatar of Type-Gallifrey, being slayed when he was never more closer to ascending as the ruler of the universe with the Doctor gone?

"▂▂▃▃▄▄▄▅▅▅▅▅▅!"

The Master gave a berserker-like scream of absolute vengeance.

An awful, deafening sound radiating of such malicious hatred that the landscape appeared to darken from ominous fear.

"...I...unforgivable...Doctor..." the Master finally shed his dastardly gentleman self to completely wield the Sword of Gallifrey as a warrior. One who was resurrected as Gallifrey`s ultimate soldier of the Last Great Time War, before the Doctor ever walked on its battlefield,

Although at this moment, the Master`s Skills/Noble Phantasms as a Servant caused him to certainlly become destruction incarnate.

Master of All. True Name Discernment. Wiseman of Knowledge. Expert of Many Specializations. Outsider of The World. Eye of the Mind (True). Vainglory. Death`s Champion. The Sword of Gallifrey (Blade of the Shining Eternity). Koschei (Legacy of Time Vainglorious). The Nemesis Paradox (The All-Enshrouded Promise).

The one who walked with the nameless healer on Gallifrey...only the legacy this fallen Child of Time wrought was to be a destroyer.

The inside of the TARDIS had become dark like the Moon itself.

"The TARDIS is being over-strained from weakening the Master..." Shirou continued guiding everyone through the time-machine`s interior.

"The Doctor`s ship is already downgraded from everything that happened...any more of this then the old ship wouldn`t be able to survive afterward." Zelretch observed, staggering after the boy.

Shirou gave a grimaced smile. "One could only hope, I suppose?"

Emiya Kiritsugu was the last one behind, staring after Shirou strangely. When the Assassin-Class Counter Guardian from another universe first come upon the boy, Shirou mysteriously told him becoming a hero was certainly hopeless...only at least it brings a beautiful meaning to one`s life. What a fool the boy was, continuing this futile childhood dream. Although it brought a sentimental peace to Kiritsugu`s withered rose of a heart...that others are carrying on the legacy he himself abandoned an eternity ago. Whoever taught Shirou to become a hero certainly was a foolish 'healer' too in the end...

At last, the remnants of the Magic-alliance reached their destination.

The TARDIS engine-room, the heart of the 'Alien Construct' where the Eye of Harmony was.

A room of such immensity the metallic ground disappeared so far into the distance it looked like an optical illusion. The Eye of Harmony floated in the sky overhead, space-time distorting around the majestic temporal-supernova. The heartbeat of nuclear chaos, resonating eternally.

Once Shirou thought about it, the heart of the TARDIS strangely resembled the inside of Unlimited Blade Works (Infinite Creation of Swords).

The Doctor`s life, being one of a clockwork of time rather than blades...

"This would be a wonderful place..." Zelretch indicated to the ground beneath the supernova. Merlin hastily used his wizard`s staff to create a Magic Circle, whispering Magecraft incantations. Morgan Le Fay further added her signature darker Fae Magic to reinforce the spell, causing the Magic Circle to become blinding with light. It was not lost to Zelretch that at this moment, the legendary magi of Earth`s history have all gathered in the TARDIS as one to save Akasha...

"Wizard Marshall, whenever you are ready." Morgan Le Fay finally spoke. "All you have to do is activate your 'Operation of Parallel Worlds', then the Archetype-Earth`s Reality Marble would be summoned through space-time into this Magic Circle."

Zelretch solemnly stepped towards the Magic Circle, unsheathing his Jeweled Sword.

A 'healer' is what the universe needed at the moment...not a warrior.

Once the Master was defeated, there was still the Doctor himself to rescue before finally facing the Doctor Alter with the Dalek who Summoned him.

Gallifrey had fallen, only the battlefield would be ruled by those who remain.

The Millennium Castle Brunestud had become enshrouded by the endless battlefield.

Oblivion bloomed as the Master unleashed all the Skills/Noble Phantasms within the Noble Phantasm of Koschei (Legacy of Time Vainglorious), wielding the legacy of previous incarnations as his blade.

The Archetype-Earth defended from the onslaught, acknowledging defeat would mean the Master escaping from this Reality Marble before he could be weakened enough. Therefore the Ultimate One of Earth countered with all her strength too. Space-time howled, an unthinkable vortex of primordial chaos blooming like the end of the universe itself had descended. The avatar of the Gallifrey facing the embodied will of planet Earth.

"...I am beginning to regret coming here..." Ryougi muttered, barely able to take cover with Aoko.

"This couldn`t continue on..." Aoko observed solemnly. The Master was indeed being weakened from the TARDIS`s interference, only his capabilities as the Type-Gallifrey are so unthinkably almighty it would take an eternity for the villain to be weakened completely.

An eternity none could await for on this eldritch battlefield...unless...

"...What?" Ryougi hesitated as the True Magician of the Magic Blue stared at her.

From what Zelretch described, the Master`s original Noble Phantasm Koschei is what gives him all his arsenal of other Skills/Noble Phantasms in a way like Arcueid`s Marble Phantasm gives her the ability to manipulate any force of nature. Therefore...

"I understand you are unable to slay the Master with your Death Perception, only would you be able to kill his Noble Phantasm Koschei?" Aoko whispered carefully.

Ryougi stared at the Master from her hiding place. "...Theoretically, it would...only I need a long time to understand the inner workings behind that Noble Phantasm before I am able to perceive its 'death'. The Master is an eldritch lifeform who does not originate from the 'Root' like the Doctor, remember?"

Aoko sighed, acknowledging she certainly was becoming a Time Lady as the Doctor once observed.

A small Magic Circle materialized beneath Aoko as she activated her time-manipulation abilities of the Magic Blue, targeting Ryougi Shiki.

Time itself began to accelerate around the girl, causing her to stagger while gasping for breath. "Oi! What are you - !?" Ryougi`s mind was overloaded with unexpected knowledge, barely able to stay conscious. The eldritch alien-knowledge of the inner workings of the Master`s Noble Phantasm named Koschei.

"I accelerated your brain`s Time with my Magic Blue as you observed the Master, bestowing you enough of a 'long time' to understand him...a time longer than the age of the universe itself." Aoko gave an apologetic smile. "...Er...I think it shouldn`t have over-strained your brain...hopefully."

"...Hopefully?" Ryougi grimaced, recovering from this mental overload to look once more at the Master. The Doctor`s archenemy was surrounded by a hundred thousand Lines of Death, all invisibly floating around him. "...Oh...I do see The Lines of Death of the Noble Phantasm Koschei, only there are far too many for me to sever all at once...unless the Master is incapacitated first - ?"

Archetype-Earth came flying out of nowhere, the Ultimate One covered in wounds from unidentifiable alien-blades that stopped her from regenerating as a vampire. Aoko hastily used the Magic Blue to rewind Time on Arcueid`s body, healing the incapacitated lunar spirit before slowly standing to face the Doctor`s archenemy.

The Master merely glared at the young Magician. There would be nothing to speak of here, all he cruelly desired was to destroy this miserable universe of Magic the foolish Doctor protected to the end.

"I suppose I am the only one to do this, once being good at nothing than destruction too..." Aoko had wandered the world throughout her life, memories of this beautiful universe never disappearing from her as she walked upon Time itself. A journey that taught this 'Time Lady' to hopefully be a 'healer' to others despite her destructiveness.

Aoko summoned the last of her Magic Blue, gathering temporal-mana from outside Arcueid`s Reality Marble into the air. The temporal-mana originating from all timelines throughout the multiverse, everything that could-have-been had Akasha was not about to be erased from the darkness.

From a Scientific perspective, Aoko was basically using the time-based Magic Blue to drain enough potential from other timelines to cause the premature heat death of the universe itself.

The Time-Witch restrained herself from crying out from over-straining her True Magic, space-time distorting in a vortex around her.

"You...what are you doing - !?" the Master paled, launching at her.

Aoko hastily retreated backward from the Master`s blade, acknowledging she would not survive this. The unthinkably overwhelming force the Time-Witch was about to manifest would completely disintegrate her body, scattering her ashes throughout the time-vortex.

Although...everything was going to be fine in the end...hopefully.

"Love from planet Earth, everyone!" Aoko gave one last peaceful smile to unleash the Magic Blue.

The Master gave a cowardly scream before a radiant supernova containing the temporal chaos of the multiverse bloomed, obliterating him in a blinding flare of ultimate destruction.

The Moon itself began to disintegrate from the force of this supernova, only the Archetype-Earth was barely able to stop the devastation with her Marble Phantasm.

Ryougi picked herself up from the ground in the earth-shaking aftermath, looking grouchily at the molten landscape. At this moment, girl was beginning to think she had enough of this saving the universe nonsense. All that there was is to return home alive in peace, never to come within the Doctor`s eccentric presence once more.

Although...Ryougi hesitantly walked towards the Master`s slowly regenerating corpse on the ground, activating the Mystic Eyes of Death Perception before unsheathing her signature knife. "Good grief...I never remember when to stop."

The knife weaved through the air around the Master as Ryougi began to sever the Master`s Noble Phantasm 'Koschei' from him. Once this was over, the Doctor`s archenemy would be deathly weakened, unable to wield any of his almighty arsenal of Skills/Noble Phantasms anymore aside from the Sword of Gallifrey.

After all...this was everything Ryougi could do for the missing Doctor, as one who willingly stayed a distance from the nameless healer to protect him from her inner murderous self.

"...You..." The grotesque zombie-like corpse of the Master whispered when Ryougi finally severed the last of Koschei. "What have you done!?"

"Your Koschei is gone...dead for eternity." Ryougi gave a predatory at the Master`s corpse. "It is what the Doctor himself would do to defeat you. I suppose I myself could be named Death`s Champion, eh?"

The Master gave a scream of fury, launching himself at the girl despite his regenerating body. Ryougi staggered in surprise, the Sword of Gallifrey barely missing her head.

"You...the host of the Void!" the Master continued to stab Gallifrey`s blade at her. "I thought you would rather sleep for eternity in nothingness although here you are, using your host to stop me from ascending as the ruler of the universe!"

The Mystic Eyes of Death Perception activated as Ryougi desperatly severed the Master`s heartbeats. The Doctor`s archenemy collapsed onto the ground, deathly wound regenerating only for the grl to disarm the Sword of Gallifrey from him.

Ryougi gave a stoic sigh, pointing her knife in victory. "...I do apologize...only who on Earth is this 'Void'?"

The answer would never be given to the girl.

The Master reached into his pocket to unexpectedly reveal the laser-screwdriver, creating a flare of light. Ryougi staggered backward in blindness, unable to activate her Mystic Eyes of Death Perception.

"Return upon oblivion, avatar of Akasha!" the Master picked himself up to steal the girl`s signature knife, stabbing the blade point-blank into her head.

Ryougi Shiki collapsed lifelessly onto the ground, the 'void' of death descending upon her at last.

A moment passed as the Master gasped for breath, exhausted. The TARDIS`s interference in nullifying him as Type-Gallifrey was certainly taking its toll, especially with all these Magic-alliance heroines here. All that remained was to survive everything to conquer the TARDIS in the end, stealing it to return back to the Doctor`s home-universe as 'Master of All'...

Only...

"Where is the Archetype-Earth...?" the Master looked carefully around the remnants of the once-majestic lunar home of the Type-Moon. Arcueid had mysteriously disappeared in the meantime when the Master was destroying the others. The shadow of the Earth began spreading upon the Moon`s landscape as an eclipse, enshrouding all in the darkness...

...The Earth`s shadow?

The Master remembered he was within a Reality Marble of only the Moon itself, therefore Earth should be not here in the first place...unless...

The Doctor`s sworn archenemy looked up at the lunar sky. "...Oh...what a 'rain' this is going to be..."

A perfect replica of the Moon itself had materialized far above in the void, slowly descending down onto the Millennium Castle Brunestud. The Archetype-Earth was floating in the sky, wielding the legacy of the Crimson Moon itself to manifest this eldritch calamity. A calamity that strangely resembled the ancient battle remembered as the Moon Fall, where a certain 'Wizard Marshall' defended Earth from the original Type-Moon.

"The Doctor`s archenemy..." At this moment, no one could tell anymore who was speaking through Arcueid`s body. The Archetype-Earth? The Crimson Moon Brunestud? Arcueid herself? Whoever its identity was was an eternal mystery. "This would continue on...no more!"

"No more?" the Master grimaced, memories of the 'Doctor of War' flooding to mind as he brandished the Sword of Gallifrey.

The sea of tranquility on the landscape become lost as the Archetype-Earth summoned the last of her strength, accelerating the replica Moon`s crash-descent onto the Millennium Castle.

The Master`s mind was going into overdrive like the Doctor himself would, desperately calculating what was needed to survive. The Sword of Gallifrey was the last Noble Phantasm he wielded. The TARDIS was continuing to weaken him, nothing he did would be enough to destroy this descending replica Moon. Therefore the Archetype-Earth should be the target here, only the almighty spirit-entity of Earth was far too eldritch for him to slay at this time...unless...

"My dear 'Earth'...you are indeed one who is eternal...although your host body is not, eh?" the Master aimed his laser-screwdriver at Arcueid, blasting the lunar princess with light brighter than a supernova.

Archetype-Earth gave a cry of surprised pain, her host`s vampiric-body disintegrating into withered ashes from the overwhelming radiance. The falling Moon slowed in its descent for a single moment, creating an opening for the Master to launch himself into the sky at her with his Servant agility.

The regenerating Arcueid defended with her Marble Phantasm only the Master hastily distorted space-time with the Sword of Gallifrey, 'overwriting' whatever manifestation of fantasy she created.

"...What are you - !?" the Archetype-Earth screamed as the Master stabbed her in the chest, sending the Ultimate One of Earth crashing onto the molten landscape.

The descending replica Moon was about to fall upon the Millennium Castle Brunestud...

"...I at least brought an 'umbrella' with me, eh?" The Master landed on the ground, temporal-light gathering on his blade.

The Sword of Gallifrey launched a supernova-like blast, manifesting the vainglorious embodiment of Time itself towards the defeated Archetype-Earth.

"I apologize...Uncle Doctor..." Arcueid Brunestud was at least able to return back to consciousness before her end.

The Type-Moon had watched over the Earth from the beginning of eternity...only at the moment, this protection as a silent 'healer' was about to die...

The TARDIS gave a resonate beep.

"...It is time..." Shirou looked up, understanding with his Traced knowledge what was about to happen.

The Doctor`s box had detected Arcueid`s Reality Marble was about to collapse, therefore it was time to summon that pocket-universe into the Eye of Harmony room. Although the cause of the Reality Marble`s collapse could only mean...

"...No..." Zelretch staggered, a vulnerable look of sorrowful despair descending upon him for the first time. All of those lost on this battlefield...especially the one who was goddaughter... This was what it must be like being the Doctor, continuing to be alive while everyone else became scattered ashes in the end...

Merlin walked over to the Wizard Marshall, calming the elder with surprising kindness. "Lord Zelretch...please. One has to remain optimistic, for despair is more of a curse than any other wound. Everything is going to be okay in the end as the Doctor promised."

"I...I understand...only..." Zelretch hesitated when the Magic Circle on the ground began to shine, quite resembling that of a Servant-Summoning ritual.

"Time all of this end...ready yourselves!" Emiya Kiritsugu raised his Contender-pistol as everyone else stood for battle.

The battle at the heart of the TARDIS itself.

A flare of light manifested, Arcueid`s Reality Marble finally disappearing to release the Master back into the outside world.

"...All the rain my umbrella couldn`t protect me from..." the Master was covered in lunar ashes, grimacing to look around the room. "...Ah, the Eye of Harmony! What a regretfully sentimental battlefield this is...especially when more than one of my past incarnations have died inside the Doctor`s TARDIS - "

Emiya Kiritsugu was the first to move, shooting the Master point-blank in the head with the Contender.

The Doctor`s archenemy collapsed onto the ground, body regenerating once more. "You...!"

"Me." Kiritsugu calmly retreated, the others moving to stop the Master from healing completely.

Morgan casted dark Fae Magic, the Caster-Class Servant further slowing the Master`s already weakened regeneration. As the Doctor was named the 'Merlin' of his home-universe, would the Master be considered to be its 'Morgan' too?

"Morgan Le Fay...!" the Master was beginning to regret the witch being his favorite character in the original Arthurian legend.

"I have to admit, Master..." Morgan gave a smile of malicious joy. "I once sincerely thought about betraying everyone to become your companion instead, only it is strangely far more enjoyable to save the universe in my foolish sister Artoria`s place! A 'healer' to Britannia is what I am, eh?"

The Master howled in hatred, using the Sword of Gallifrey to slow down Time itself throughout the room to launch at her.

The Witch-Queen of the Lake staggered back, unable to activate her Noble Phantasm to defend before the Master stabbed the Sword of Gallifrey into her chest.

"Ah...long live the queen?" Morgan Le Fay disintegrated into nothingness with a peaceful smile, acknowledging she was hopefully victorious over Artoria for once.

Emiya Kiritsugu grimaced, everyone in the room continued to be slowed down in Time by the Master`s blade. There was no other choice...this Assassin-Class Counter Guardian had to do what was needed...whatever happens in the end.

"Chronos Rose (Gather Ye Rosebuds While Ye May)!"

Kiritsugu activated his signature Time Alter Magecraft manifested as a Noble Phantasm, accelerating his personal Time to counter the Master, who screamed in agony as the Magus Killer once more sniped him in the head with the Contender.

All the others staggered as the TARDIS hastily nullified the Master`s Noble Phantasm, returning space-time to as it was.

"A Time-based Noble Phantasm?" the Master resurrected from his weakened regenerative healing before grabbing Kiritsugu by the head. "There could only be one 'Master' of Time in the universe, my dear!"

"Kiritsugu!" Shirou screamed, launching to save the Magus Killer...only it was for naught.

"...Shirou...I..." Kiritsugu gasped as the Master began to rewind the personal Time on him, un-Summoning the Magus Killer from space-time itself until he become nothingness once more.

The last Kiritsugu remembered before he disappeared was a strange moment of peace blooming within him...that all this sentimental burden as a fallen hero would finally be over.

"Trace...Overedge!" Shirou Projected Archer`s signature blades into longswords, stabbing vengefully into the Master.

The Master countered, impaling the Sword of Gallifrey into Shirou to watch the boy fall onto the ground. "Oh, I have not forgotten about you, Emiya Shirou. I could finally punish all of the 'magus-Masters' throughout Akasha for using my glorious name by slaying you here. What do you think of that, eh?"

Shirou was unable to answer, barely alive while coughing up blood.

"...Die." the Master stabbed his blade at Shirou only for a hurricane of flowers to bloom out of nowhere, blinding him.

"The Garden of Avalon (The Forever-Sealed Utopia)!"

The tranquil ocean of flowers at the Magical heart of the World, manifesting within the TARDIS as Merlin`s Noble Phantasm.

Zelretch hastily teleported Shirou to a safe distance, the boy`s wounds disappearing from the healing presence of this utopian garden. Merlin stood before the Master, giving a calm smile. "Dear me...this is certainly like the Doctor himself told, that we are all stories in the end. All we could hope is that it would be a good one..."

The Master grimaced, Merlin`s Noble Phantasm strangely further weakening him from being an 'unearthly' lifeform never supposed to walk within this utopia. "Only this hope is meaningless when no one is around to remember the stories afterward...once more, I am reminded why you are my least favorite character in the Arthurian legend...one who could have been mistaken for the Doctor himself."

"...I hope you are not going to ask this eternal flower for jelly babies, eh?" Merlin brandished his wizard`s staff, expecting the Master to come at him with the Sword of Gallifrey.

"My foolish Merlin, I am surprised you couldn`t understand...that all flowers shall wilt in a universe of infinite darkness." the Master aimed his laser-screwdriver instead like a wizard`s staff, sending a single blast of solidified light at the Magus of Flowers.

Merlin staggered, gasping in pain to discern his heart had been incinerated into ashes. The Master smiled cruelly, watching as golden light began to gather around the Magus of Flowers like he was regenerating like the Doctor`s incarnations...only it was not regeneration at all. Rather...Merlin himself was disintegrating as a Caster-Class Servant, returning into the Throne of Heroes.

The Doctor was once mistaken for the 'Merlin' of his home-universe although at this moment, Merlin was regretfully unable to call himself the 'Doctor' of this Magical-universe.

The Garden of Avalon slowly began to disappear, becoming nothing more than a forgotten story as the Magus of Flowers fell.

Merlin gave one last smile before disappearing into oblivion, strangely at peace in the end.

"...I suppose this is my punishment...as the one who tricked a young girl to become king..."

A madman without a box.

This was who Kischur Zelretch Schweinorg was.

An eccentric time-traveling protector of the universe, one with many names although no true identity. The only one who the Doctor considered to be his 'Magical'-equivalent throughout Akasha.

All of which made the Master more eager to slay this raggedy 'Magical-clone' of the healer at the moment.

"...Your end would be quite the birthday present for me...especially after my coronation as 'Master of All'." the Master look towards Zelretch ominously.

The TARDIS beeped in alarm, the Eye of Harmony room barely able to survive the devastation of this temporal battlefield..

Zelretch grimaced, elderly vampiric-body far too fragile from everything before to face the Master in battle. The TARDIS had been weakening the avatar of Type-Gallifrey with everyone else all this time, only the Doctor`s archenemy would not fall. The Master must never obtain the TARDIS, therefore...

"My body is indeed wearing a bit thin...although this old gentleman of the universe was promised jelly babies when everything is over..."

Zelretch brandished his signature Jeweled Sword, beginning the blade`s Multi-Dimensional Refraction Phenomenon to gather unlimited Magic from every single parallel-universe in Akasha.

"Oh?" the Master hesitated bewilderingly, discerning the TARDIS was in distress at whatever lunacy the Wizard Marshal was about to do.. "What are you doing!?"

"What am I doing? I ask myself that all the time!" Zelretch gave a calm smile, his vampiric-body slowly collapsing from the overwhelming strain. "I suppose my answer is in the Doctor`s absence, I would have to take his place as the 'healer' of the universe!"

"All of you Magic-types would never be the Doctor!" the Master gave a monsterous howl of fury, launching at him with the Sword of Gallifrey.

Zelretch hastily activated his 'Operation of Parallel Worlds' to teleport a safe distance, Jeweled Sword finally overloaded. All those other universe out there. Past. Present. Future. Everywhere. Nowhere. What this Jeweled Sword was about to unleash the the embodiment of everything under Akasha itself, the manifestation of the will to 'heal' from the infinite darkness descending upon all of creation.

The Wizard Marshall`s ultimate Magic.

"Ether Cannon!"

A supernova bloomed from the Jeweled Sword.

The TARDIS itself howled as the eldritch light incinerated all before its unforgettable majesty, like a supernova enshrouding the universe itself. The Master gave a scream of unthinkable pain, his immortality as the Type-Gallifrey unable to protect him from this temporal vortex of absolute devastation. An eternity later, the blinding supernova slowly disappeared into nothingness to reveal the Eye of Harmony room had been scorched into a landscape of molten charcoal ashes.

"...I do apologize, my dear TARDIS..." Zelretch collapsed onto the ground, the Jeweled Sword charred to being un-repairable.

The ashen remains of the Master began to regenerate like Time was rewinding back, although it would be the last. At this time the Master had become finally mortal as the avatar of Type-Gallifrey, without any Skills/Noble Phantasms or regenerative immortality to save him anymore.

The deaths of all those on the battlefield of Gallifrey before had not been meaningless...

Although...

"You...!" the regenerated Master staggered up, berserker-like fury returned. "The Doctor is gone...only you...all of you...my coronation..."

The incapacitated Wizard Marshall was completely calm as the Master stalked towards him. "You certainly are a Master of none in the end, eh?"

The Doctor`s archenemy screamed, his Sword of Gallifrey radiating with an ominous light resembling that of the time-vortex itself. A moment passed until Zelretch finally understood. The Master was preparing the erase the Wizard Marshal from space-time with his blade. After all, nothing less would be able to defeat the ancient elder of the Operation of Parallel Worlds.

Once the blade was stabbed into Zelretch, Time would re-write itself so that it would be like he had never been born. Everything under Akasha would fall further into chaos from the Wizard Marshall`s paradoxical absence until the infinite darkness enshrouded it all.

The Master was indeed an anathema manifested upon the universe. A trickster. A warrior. A nameless eldritch thing, stained in the blood of eternity.

One who ominously resembled that of the Doctor himself.

"I do have on last question for you, Master..." Zelretch sighed regretfully, unable to stop oblivion from descending upon him.

The Master stabbed the Sword of Gallifrey at the Wizard Marshall. "Oh, what is it?"

Kischur Zelretch Schweinorg gave a trickster-like smile...one that strangely haunted the Master to the end.

"...Who would you be then without the Doctor?"

Emiya Shirou awakened from unconsciousness.

"What...the TARDIS?"

The TARDIS had become absolutely devastated on its insides, an ashen landscape of temporal-death. The Master was stalking towards him from the distance, brandishing the Sword of Gallifrey.

Shirou Projected Archer`s bow, sniping at the Master with Caladbolg.

The Doctor`s archenemy was barely able to retreat from Shirou`s arrow. "Oh, dear me. The last of the Doctor`s allies, all alone here...the foolish self-proclaimed 'hero' who thinks of himself as a 'healer' to others."

"Trace...Overedge!" Shirou Projected his blades once more, this time into longswords resembling Excalibur.

The Master defended with the Sword of Gallifrey as Shirou launched at him, the fallen spirit of Archer EMIYA behind the boy.

Clang!

It was a beautiful sound of steel.

The sound that saved Shirou on the darkest night of his life, when he was first brought into the Holy Grail War all that time ago.

What a long journey it has been for this boy of iron-wrought blades. There was nothing more to the battlefield here. This was the only path. A distant dream of endless swords.

"I ask you once more, 'Master'...Shirou continued this battle valiantly, glaring the Doctor`s archenemy. All of the Magic-alliance had become lost on this battlefield, with no one the boy could save anymore...only at least he would carry the vengeance of the fallen on him to the end. "Would you have enough 'time' here to survive me?"

The Master wielded the last he could of the Sword of Gallifrey to accelerate his personal Time before the TARDIS nullified it, stabbing Shirou in the chest...only to gasp in bewilderment as the wound began to heal like nothing happened at all. "...What!?"

Shirou grimaced, the exhaustion from everything before slowly becoming a burden on him.

This battle could not continue anymore...

Unlimited Blade Works (Infinite Creation of Swords) was out of the question.

Therefore the Master would have to be defeated not by a blade...rather...

"...I am the bone of my sword!"

The Doctor`s sonic-screwdriver appeared on Shirou, who aimed it at the archenemy of Time.

"...The sonic-screwdriver!?" The surprised Master grimaced as a blast of sound sent the Sword of Gallifrey flying from him to the distance. Shirou made to aim once more only the Master recovered to defend with a blast from his laser-screwdriver, sending the boy crashing onto the ground.

The Master stalked over to Shirou, restraining the boy to curiously scan him with the laser-screwdriver. "Oh...I understand. A boy of 'unlimited blades'...only you strangely originated this promise with a 'scabbard' instead."

Shirou gasped, unable to escape. "...Scabbard!?"

"A Magic-based scabbard which would heal its wielder too..." the Master remembered the original Arthurian legend. "The Noble Phantasm of Avalon, eh?"

"You...!" Shirou paled as the Master smiled ominously at him like a hungry predator.

"I admit, I am in need of healing myself..." the Master began aiming the laser-screwdriver at Shirou`s body. "The would-be ruler of the universe shall certainly need to be ready for his coronation, after all!"

Shirou gave a deafening scream of agony as the light from the laser-screwdriver pierced into his body. The unthinkable agony like his identity was being removed from within, abnormally stolen by one who should never be.

"Happy birthday to me!" The legendary scabbard of King Arthur slowly manifested outside of Shirou`s body, the Master reaching victoriously to take the Noble Phantasm from the boy. A madman who thought only of healing himself rather than others.

"Saber...I..."

Shirou was unable to speak anymore, the abnormal removal of Avalon having completely destroyed his body from the inside out.

The Master was walking into the distance with the scabbard, abandoning Shirou alone to die.

An endless flood of sorrow manifested within Shirou as the darkness began to claim his consciousness. The Master was victorious...everything was over. This beautiful dream of being a hero was at its end, wilted to nothingness before the clockwork eternity named Time.

Although the boy strangely became at peace in his final moment, a dying sword who never regretted becoming a 'healer' to others.

The last Shirou remembered was all his life had been one of Unlimited Blade Works...

Gallifrey had become no more, only victory was about to be fulfilled.

The Master stood alone at the heart of this bloody vortex of a battlefield.

"The TARDIS...is mine!"

The voice of the Doctor`s archenemy ominously resonating throughout the empty time-machine.

The missing Doctor was about to be killed by the Doctor Alter. All of the forces of Magic in this multiverse had fallen. Akasha itself was about to be erased, only that was nothing to be anxious about with the TARDIS here to return him back to his home-universe of Science.

There was absolutely nothing that could stop the Master anymore.

At last, the would-be ruler of the universe was about to ascend to his throne...as 'Master of All'.

The vainglory of Gallifrey`s worst child shall enshroud all of creation, with the promise of victory fulfilled throughout the darkness.

All that remained was to implant the scabbard of Avalon within himself, then everything would be -

"Invisible Air (Barrier of the Wind King)"

A hurricane of solidified air unexpectedly materialized out of nowhere to blast the surprised Master backward, destroying his laser-screwdriver too.

"What...who...are...?" the Master staggered up to sight a beautiful young girl in knight`s armor had sneaked into the TARDIS engine-room while he celebrated his victory.

A certain girl who had been in a healing-coma all this time, hidden inside the TARDIS by the Doctor while everyone else battled on Gallifrey. The girl who the TARDIS itself awakened from her coma to fulfill the promise of victory.

The last warrior who arisen to stop the Master`s dream of becoming the vainglorious ruler of the universe.

The Once Future King, 'resurrected' to save Akasha itself at this darkest moment as spoken of in the original legend.

Artoria Pendragon.

An awakened Gray appeared beside Artoria, having recovered from her unconsciousness to reach the TARDIS engine-room too.

The King of Knights slowly walked over to Shirou`s corpse, stopping only to pick up the scabbard of Avalon the Master dropped when Invisible Air materialized.

"Shirou..." Saber restrained her unspeakable grief, merely giving a gentle smile at the fallen one who dreamed of unlimited blades. "...Rest in peace...I would be with you too after this..."

Artoria then stood, glaring coldly at the Master. "You...the Doctor`s archenemy, I assume?"

"Universally." the Master gave a charismatic bow. "My name is indeed the Master, would-be ruler of the universe...er...who are you supposed to be?"

Saber merely deactivated Invisible Air, revealing the radiant blade of Excalibur.

The Master hesitated bewilderingly, remembering her True Name. "...King Arthur was a girl!?"

Artoria pointed her sword, not calling the Master by name. "I, Artoria Pendragon call upon you to face me in battle. All of the Restraints of the Round Table on my blade have been unleashed therefore you should defend yourself like the cruel, cowardly being you are."

The Restraints of the Round Table?

Gray gasped, remembering all the secret conditions to manifest Excalibur as the ultimate embodiment of the planet Earth itself.

The battle must be an honorable one. The battle must be to live. The battle must not be against Humanity. The battle must be one-on-one. The battle must not be against one pure of heart. One's comrades-in-arms must be courageous. The enemy must not be an elemental spirit. The enemy must be more powerful than oneself. The battle must be one against evil. The battle must not involve personal gain. The battle must be for truth. The battle must be one to save the World.

All this time inside the TARDIS, the avatar of Type-Gallifrey had become weakened enough that he was theoretically able to be defeated by the Sword of Promised Victory...especially when Artoria had fulfilled all the Restraints of the Round Table.

The Time Lord Vainglorious understood this, giving a cowardly scream before desperately unsheathing the Sword of Gallifrey. "I would not let myself be defeated by one who is not the Doctor!"

"...Good luck, Artoria..." Gray retreated to a safe distance to solemnly observe this final battle.

All who fell on this eternal battlefield have sacrificed themselves for this moment, becoming 'healers' whose legacies became scattered in eternity.

Whoever remained here afterward would witness the fate of Akasha.

Artoria Pendragon merely stood, wielding the once-lost scabbard of Avalon (The Ever-Distant Utopia) on her as she pointed the sword of Excalibur at the Master.

The King of Knights reborn.

The time had finally descended to fulfill the distant promise of victory...
