The world swayed beneath Adrien's feet. He couldn't possibly be hearing correctly right? His father, Hawkmoth? Albeit not the warmest man you would ever meet, he certainly didn't seem cruel enough to be Paris' notorious Hawkmoth.

"Adrien?" Someone touched his shoulder.

Adrien was going to puke.

"Adrien, please take a seat."

He recognized the voice as Nathalie's, but he couldn't make out what she was saying.

The ringing in his ears was getting louder by the second.

"Take him away, I'll talk to him later." Someone said. "I've got more important matters to attend."

Adrien was moving... No, he was being moved.

Do something you idiot!

Adrien snapped out of his daze long enough to see his father guiding Guardian Angel away from them.

"Wait!" He shouted and planting his feet in the ground.

Gabriel paused and looked at his son, with a quirked eyebrow.

Adrien pulled away from Nathalie's grasp and walked up to his father.

"I'm going with her, wherever you take her." Adrien grabbed Guardian Angels arm.

Guardian Angel turned to him and smiled glad that he was ok.

"There's no way I'm leaving her alone to the likes of you." Adrien said, looking at his father with disgust.

Gabriel sighed, done with his son's attitude. He didn't know what was best for him.

He turned to Guardian Angel.

"If he comes with us he'll be in a lot of danger, it'll be safer if he stays here." He told her.

A flash of worry passed Guardian Angel's eyes. She looked at Adrien and pushed him down to a chair.

"Please Adrien, stay here I promise everything will be okay."

She walked back to Gabriel.

Adrien growled and stood up.

"I was hoping it wouldn't come to this, but you give me no more option!"

Adrien pulled his ring out, he had been able to pickpocket it from Guardian Angel when they were on their way to his house.

Gabriel gasped, coming to realization.

"Plagg claws out!" Adrien exclaimed.

All Gabriel could do is watch, as his child changed into one of his worst enemies.

"So father, how's it feel to know that you've been fighting your son this whole time?"

"How dare you?!" Gabriel screamed. "You are no son of mine!"

Gabriel charged at Chat Noir, and vice versa.

Both men were about to attack, when Guardian Angel stepped in between them; clearly defending Adrien.

"You don't touch him." She said, dangerous glint in her eye.

Gabriel frowned, and shoved her aside.

Guardian Angel let out a yelp as she fell. Chat Noir watched helplessly as her head bounced of the floor, his heart started racing when she didn't get back up.

He growled and turned back to his father; who had now transformed as Hawkmoth, and was wielding his sword.

"Why are you doing this father! All those people you've hurt, you've destroyed the city multiple times! You've been fighting teenagers! Why?! How do you have the heart to do all of it!" Chat Noir cried, as he swung his baton.

"Foolish boy! I was doing it all for your mother!"

Chat Noir's swing faltered. "My... My mother?"

Hawkmoth smirked, and took his opportunity to strike his son in the face.

Chat staggered back, dazed. He shook his head and his vision cleared up just in time to see Hawkmoth run at him, holding his cane like a bat.

He flinched and closed his eyes, unable to react any other way.

Chat heard a thud, and hesitantly opened his eyes.

Hawkmoth lay on the floor, Guardian Angel wrapped around his legs.

"Take his miraculous he'll be powerless without it!" She cried.

Still dazed, Chat ran up to his father. He fumbled with the clip, and removed said miraculous.

Now, Gabriel lay on the floor glaring at his son.

Chat looked at Guardian Angel, unsure of what to do.

"You fools! Just because I no longer have a miraculous doesn't mean I'm powerless!"

Gabriel glared at Chat; then turned his eyes towards Nathalie who stood in a corner, awaiting an order.

Gabriel nodded, Nathalie seemed to get the message and ran off.

Gabriel bent back as far as he could to look at Guardian Angel.

"And you! If you don't let go of me right this instant Adrien will die."

Guardian Angel rolled her eyes, "that's not true, and you know it."

Gabriel smirked. "Oh really? He's in no danger? Then what do you call that?"

Gabriel looked at Nathalie who came back and was fixing a pin on her shirt. With a couple of words, she turned into Le Paon and smirked at them.

Guardian Angel gasped, and Gabriel took advantage of the distraction and threw her off of him. He got up and snatched his miraculous back from Chat Noir.

"Hey!" Chat exclaimed, running towards him.

But a groaning Marinette made him turn back around.

He ran towards her, "Marinette! Are you okay?"

Guardian Angel sat up and groaned in pain.

"I'm not Marinette, I already told you. And yes I'm fine." She winced. "Just a little bit in pain."

Chat rubbed her back, unsure of what to do, when he spotted Guardian Angels earrings.

They had turned completely black no doubt, the Akuma had gone in there.

"Cataclysm!" Chat exclaimed.

He reached out to touch the earrings, when Guardian Angel turned to look at him.

"What are you do- NO! Chat don't do it! I won't be able to protect you anymore!"

Chat ignored her pleas and touched the earrings anyways. The earrings disentegrated and sure enough the Akuma came flying out.

Unable to purify it with his power he watched it fly away.

He looked back at Guardian Angel who was once again Marinette.

"Wha-What happened?" She said, looking around. "Where- Chat? What... is this Adrien's house?"

Marinette looked around dazed and confused; last thing she knew, she was with Vex.

"You were akumatized."

Marinette frowned. "I was?" Her eyes widened. "I was! Oh no, Adrien's in trouble! Hurry Chat you've got to help him!"

Chat smiled. "He's safe, don't worry."

Marinette believed him, and nodded hesitantly; slowly she tried standing up, and remembered how injured she was.

She fell back down with a small cry of pain. Chat quickly bent down, and slowly helped her up.

"Well now that you're done being all doe-eyed with each other," Le Paon said.

"Let's resume where we left off." Gabriel finished for her.

Gabriel looked at Le Paon. "Would you do the honors?"

Le Paon smiled and nodded, as she grabbed a feather from her fan.

Chat growled, and pushed Marinette behind him. "Run away as far as you can, I'll buy you some time."

Marinette shook her head about to refuse, when she looked at his miraculous.

"Chat your ring!" Marinette pointed.

As if in cue, the ring beeped marking four minutes until Chat transformed back.

"It's fine, my first priority is you."

Marinette stared at him. "Chat I'm not leaving you."

Chat stared back. "Oh yes you are, I want you to be..."

Slow clapping coming from the entrance of the house made Chat trail off and look at the source of the sound.

Chat looked at Marinette confused, as the clapping slowly got closer.

They weren't the only ones though, Gabriel and Le Paon shared a confused look as well.

Soon laughter came along with the slow claps, and a teenage boy waltzed in.

Marinette recognized him from somewhere, he looked so familiar. Where had she seen him...

"Bravo! Bravo! Spectacular performance everyone!"
