Volume 5 Issue 5: Necessary Sacrifice
Menagerie
Belladonna Family Home.
The opening starts With Mordred in front of the most peculiar site for any member of his species as he just stared at a full plate of pancakes that hasn't been touched once.
"What's the matter, kiddo? You haven't touched your breakfast." Kali asked, looking up from her oatmeal.
"I'm not hungry." Mordred replied, inadvertently causing Ghira just spit out his morning coffee while Blake dropped her milk glass and Sun had to beat his chest to spit out the banana he was eating while April rropped the baby food while May just stopped her crying.
"I'M CALLING BEN! THIS COULD BE SERIOUS!" Blake declared.
"I'm not sick, I just don't feel like eating." Mordred explained, not helping his case.
"Oh Oum he's delirious, he needs medical attention immediately!" Kali cried.
"It's okay, Little Dude, you'll be better in no time." Sun added, making the mistake to pat him on the head which to Sun's Horror Mordred grabbed his hand and started chewing on it.
"If you insist on me eating, I'll eat you!" Mordred declared.
"Oh good, he's back to normal." Ghira said, sitting down as everyone calmed down.
"For moment I was worried." April added as May just giggled.
Sighing, Blake pulled out the spray bottle and started to spray Mordred which released the blondes monkey's hand and a hiss from Mordred very similar to a Cat.
"Mom, can you talk to him while me and Sun do the petition we talked about earlier?" Blake asked.
Nodding her head, Kali without any fear picked up the black puffball and his plate of pancakes and headed into the other room, leaving just the two of them.
"All right, kiddo, I'm a mother so you can't hide anything from me. Tell me what's wrong and don't lie." Kali explained.
"I've nothing to say to you, Human, you couldn't possibly understand." Mordred replied, crossing his stubby arms stubbornly.
"That tough guy act may work on Blake and the others, but not me, I'm a licensed psychiatrist turned housewife, so tell me what you're really feeling." Kali stated, pulling out her Scroll to reveal her legal license as a Psychiatrist.
"You're not gonna let me leave until I do are you?" Mordred asked.
"No." Kali replied bluntly.
"*Sigh* I've been thinking about what Nightmare has said and he's right. I'm a Coward because I let my guild members die while I ran to escape. I sacrificed their life, so I could save my own without any regard or regret until he mentioned it." Mordred explained.
"You did what you had to do to survive. You're just a smart Baby, you shouldn't be expected to save the grown-ups." Kali replied.
"On your planet, maybe. The 33rd rule clearly states that we should save our comrades if we're able to and I could've easily saved some of them, but I did it far as I was concerned it was me or them." Mordred explained.
Smiling softly, Kali pulled Mordred into her lap and rubbed his head, earning a deep purr from him like Blake use to when she was little.
"I know that you may feel guilty about leaving them behind and you have every right to be, but you shouldn't let Nightmare get to you like that. I won't pretend that I'm happy that your people believe in child soldiers, but because I'm not your mother, I can't stop you, but I'll be here to talk if you need to. It's not healthy to keep your emotions bottled up like this." Kali explained.
Not saying anything, Mordred just nodded his head and got up to actually eat his breakfast.
Outside the Home.
The camera shifted to Blake and Sun are on the steps of the Belladonna Family Home, both of them each holding a Scroll.
"Ok. Are you ready?" Blake asked.
"I beat up on giant monsters and robots more than once, I think I can handle getting a few signatures" Sun replied which Blake gives a small smile at Sun.
Later Blake stands on a platform in front of a crowd of Faunus, holding her scroll up in front of her.
"Your chieftain needs you! Your people need you! Please, join the fight and help us save Haven Academy!" Blake cried.
The Faunus just stare back at Blake.
Elsewhere, Sun tries to recruit a Faunus with ram horns.
"Are you kidding me? We'd love to have someone with your skills on our side!" Sun said.
The Faunus nervously rubs the back of his head, before his mother calls out to him.
"Mata! Get back inside!" the Worried Mother ordered.
"Mom!" Mata cried.
"You're not going anywhere!" The Mom declared.
Sun sighs in disappointment.
Back to Blake, she holds out her scroll to two Faunus girls asking them to sign up, but the two leave.
Elsewhere, Sun hangs upside down by his tail from a tree, getting the attention of a couple of Faunus cutting logs and gathering wood. He gestures to his scroll, but the Faunus simply exchange confused looks with each other. Sun sighs until another Faunus tries to cut down the tree that Sun is hanging on.
At the docks, Blake converses with an aquatic Faunus as two more swim up to her. The Faunus Blake is conversing with leaves, and she turns to the two female aquatic Faunus that have just swam up, before they too swim away. Blake, unsatisfied with the lack of progress, walks up to a nearby fruit stand where Sun happens to be present at also. The two of them share disappointed glances.
After that, the two of them are sitting at a nearby table drinking from coconut cups.
"I don't get it! How can they just sit around and do nothing with the White Fang getting ready to attack?!" Sun asked, slamming his cup down.
"Because not everyone is like you and me. The Faunus here in Menagerie - the ones that weren't born on the island - moved here because they were tired of fighting, of having to struggle constantly. Menagerie is filled with people that just want to be left alone, *scoffs* and here we are, asking them to put the rest of the world before themselves." Blake explained.
"I guess I never really thought about it like that." Sun explained.
"The problem is, whatever happens at Haven is going to affect them whether they like it or not. If Adam gets his way and Haven falls, it's only going to make things worse for the Faunus. Everywhere." Blake explained.
"Adam... he is the guy you used to….. work with?" Sun asked.
"*Sigh* Yes." Blake replied.
"Sorry, forget I brought it up." Sun apologized, seeing Blake's discomfort.
"No, it's okay." Blake replied, reassuring him as she was silent for a moment.
"Have you ever met someone and thought to yourself, "They are the personification of this word." Blake asked, after a moment.
"Uh..." Sun asked, rubbing his head.
"Okay, well, I remember getting to know Ruby and thinking, "This girl is the embodiment of "purity"." After a while, I saw Weiss was "defiance". Yang was "strength". Rex was "courage". Koan was "wild". And Ben was "power", etc." Blake listed.
"What am I?" Sun asked.
"Jury's still out on that one, but I'm leaning towards "earnest"." Blake explained, smiling.
At this, Sun wraps his tail around his cup and takes a sip from it, before leaning on his hand affectionately. Blake giggles and smiles for bit, before frowning as she continues.
"At first I thought Adam was "justice", then I thought he was "passion". But over time, I realized I was wrong. He wasn't any of those things. He was "spite". Not "hatred", not "rage", "spite". He won't accept equality, only suffering for what he feels the world did to him, and his way of thinking is dangerously contagious. That's what worries me about Ilia. She's not like Adam, not yet at least, but I don't know how long that will last." Blake explained.
"She was your friend, huh?" Sun asked.
"She was. Her chameleon traits meant she could pass as human. She could've lived a normal life if she wanted, but she didn't. I always admired that. She lost her family in a mining accident when she was young, then she joined the White Fang. Like me, she was more or less trained on the road alongside other Faunus. She learned to survive, to defend herself, but as people like Sienna and Adam started to gain a following, she became more dangerous. I guess I did too. My parents tried to get me to leave with them, but I refused. I had Adam and Ilia, after all." Blake explained.
"You know we're gonna have to face her eventually." Sun stated.
"I know." Blake replied sadly.
"So, what are you gonna do?" Sun asked.
"I'm going to try and help her the way you boys helped me." Blake replied.
Sun is surprised at her response.
"You three showed me that sometimes you need to be there for a friend even when they don't want you to be. I was drowning in guilt and fear, I tried to push you all away, but none of you didn't give up on me. And I can't give up on Ilia. It's about time I saved my friends for once." Blake explained.
Sun smiles at her response.
Meanwhile in the One Piece Universe
With Ben and the others.
Coming out through the portal, the group arrived at a relatively small island that has some ruins of an old town at the shore, but its inhabitants live in another town hidden in the valley of the mountains which can only be entered through a waterfall.
"Welcome to the world of One Piece. This is Sphinx island, my homeland." Ben explained.
"I haven't been to this world since I trained with Silver." Koan commented, surprising Ben.
"You learned From Silver? Who else did you learn from?" Ben asked.
"Well I learned from Captain America, Black Panther, Batman of the DC Comics universe, Gods and Goddesses like Beerus and Athena along with Thor, Bronze Tiger, Ryu, Ken Masters, Gouken, Terry Bogard, Little Mac and Doc Louis, Mortal Kombat Scorpion and Sub-Zero, Black Canary; same universe, the Shredder, Cloud Strife, Ichigo, and the rest of the Soul society, Deadpool, Daredevil, Nightwing, Silver Rayleigh, Charlotte Katakuri, Kaido, Hashirama Senju, and Madura Uchiha to Name a few." Koan explained.
"Huh... there seems to be a pattern going on and I don't like it." Ben replied.
"What do you mean?" Helen asked.
"Look at the list. Most of the people he has mentioned has managed to beat most of my teachers or has some kind of influence in my past life. Silver was the right-hand man to Roger while Charlotte could actually see three seconds into the future to predict my every move while Kaido is the World's Strongest Beast while I was the World's Strongest Man. Do you think that it's possible Paradox is making it, so that we could try to take each other down if necessary?" Ben asked.
"It's possible." Julie said, stopping to think about it.
"That's a good point. I mean Paradox always insisted that I'd need to know all the stuff to possibly take someone down." Koan explained.
Right as he said that, Paradox appeared now having his hair grey on the sides and he has wrinkles on his face. His white lab coat bow has brown and black pouches and gold trim, and underneath, he wears a black turtleneck with a white scarf, and his brown vest has gold buttons and pouches. He has a new pair of goggles around his neck, and has a metal gauntlet on his right hand, and a fingerless glove on his left. His black pants now have brown kneepads, and he wears a pair of brown boots with gold straps. All in All, he looks like he just got done with a war.
Preparing their weapons, everyone who knew will be against that transpired between their two respective masters.
"Paradox. What do you want?" Ben warned.
"You have every right not to trust me, Benjamin, but I assure you that I'm a friend and ally." Paradox calmly responded.
"*Sighs* Everyone who has ever met you, says otherwise. Why have you really sent the two of us on this task and made us train with all sorts of people across Time and Space? No lies this time, no half-truths, and no avoiding the truth because I want answers and I'm going to get them!" Ben said.
"*Sigh* there are many timelines for the two of you either go Rouge or there is someone so powerful that it requires the two of you to stop them together. The latter is happened and why I cannot tell you the full truth because of the of at the Multiverse I assure you I am on your Allie." Paradox replied.
"And how can I know you're telling the truth? Father Time and Lady Space have never gotten along, not to mention your former Master put me in that coma." Ben asked.
"The evidence is stacked against you, Paradox. How do we know you're really on our side?" Koan asked.
"Make no mistake, Koan. I'm on no one's side, I'm on the side of a Multiverse one that prevents the Destruction and source of Evil even greater than that of the extinction. You boys are the only ones who can stop it or at least have a greatest chance. I wasn't lying when I said I couldn't see what was coming. When I brought this to my former master, he shrugged it off and saying it wasn't his problem, so I made it my problem and got the two of you involved. I'm sorry of how things worked out, but I promise you Time was not meant to die like that and you weren't meant to become a Champion, it just turned out that way through the unforeseen circumstances." Paradox explained.
"And what if your new master decides to get involved?" Julie asked.
"Time Walkers are bound by an oath that prevents true interference. Because we cannot see what's coming, we cannot interfere as much as we'd like. I'm very close to breaking that oath and sending myself to Oblivion, but for the Multiverse I'll take that risk. Only a champion of Time can interfere the way Time Walkers wish we could." Paradox explained.
"All right, say that we do believe you, how can we trust you again?" Helen asked.
"If you choose to trust me that's your decision, but I promise you will be for the sake of the Multiverse, I'm on your side for whatever I can do." Paradox explained.
"And what if for the sake of the Multiverse we need to die? What then?" Sothis asked.
"Pray that doesn't happen, my lady. Few timelines happen where that is necessary, but I assure you, I do not see anywhere that is necessary." Paradox explained.
Growling at the lack of answers, Ben pushed past Paradox ignoring him for the time being as they approach the house where they saw Marco wearing a lab coat treating a young girl with his Phoenix fire healing her right up.
"All right, Tammy, just try not to hurt yourself too much, so you don't have to come visit me so soon." Marco said, chuckling before he noticed his new guest.
"Can I help you?" Marco asked.
"That remains to be seen." Ben replied.
Waiting for the girl to leave, Ben took a deep breath and flared his Conqueror's Haki towards Marco who immediately sensed and was on guard, recognizing it instantly and growled.
"Who do you work for?! Teach?! The World Government?! The Marines?! I don't know how you replicated Pop's Haki, but I'll not forgive you!" Marco demanded.
"Gu, ha ha ha ha! You were always want to jump ahead without much thought for your own life. Let me show you, my Son." Ben replied, who unintentionally slipped into the Whitebeard Laugh.
Pulling out his Moon Staff, Ben showed Marco his story as well as using a combination of Raven and Weiss's semblance to link it to EVERY Whitebeard Pirate alive, excluding the traitorous Marshall D. Teach, showing all of them his story to save time hunting them all down.
Kingdom of Mistral.
Rental House Training Area.
In Mistral, Oscar is in a training room while wielding The Long Memory. As he pants from exhaustion, he hears a voice enter the room.
"You're really getting better, huh?" Ruby commented, walking down the stairs into the room.
"Are you hungry? It's almost dinnertime." Ruby asked.
"Uh, yeah. That sounds good. I was about to call it a night anyway." Oscar replied.
"So, you've never fought before?" Ruby asked,
"Just the occasional small Grimm. Nothing like this, though." Oscar explained, remembering the time he killed the occasional small Grimm with his Pitchfork before on his Farm.
"Wow. *giggles* You look like a natural." Ruby replied.
"It's strange, I have only had this cane for a few weeks, but... I feel like I've had it for a lifetime. Longer, even. *pause* I sound like a crazy person." Oscar explained.
"Not really, I mean Ben and Yang said the same thing when they gave us a tour in their castle." Ruby replied.
"How do you handle all of this?" Oscar asked changing the subject for a moment.
"What do you mean?" Ruby asked, confused.
"I'm... scared." Oscar replied as his voice starts to crack.
"I'm more scared than I've ever been in my life, than I ever thought was possible." Oscar explained as he walks over to a weapon rack.
"I always knew that I wanted to be more than a farmhand, but this?" Oscar continued as he places the cane in the rack.
"Who would ask for this?" Oscar finished.
He glances down at the floor as a tear drips from his eye. He sniffles before kneeling to the floor to reach his backpack. He grabs the cane off the rack and pulls the lever on the handle to compact it before putting it in his backpack.
"We all went to Beacon because we wanted to help people. But, you're right. None of us asked for this either. We just have to press on and—" Ruby tried until she was cut off.
"How can you be so confident?! People have tried to kill you! The world's about to go to war all over again! How are you okay with any of this?!" Oscar asked.
Ruby is taken aback by Oscar's question. She frowns as she says her response.
"When Beacon fell, I lost two of my friends: Penny Polendina and Ben Tennyson. I didn't know Penny or even Ben for very long, but that doesn't change the fact that they were two of the most kind-hearted people I have ever met. But that didn't save them. Ben thought that if there was even the smallest chance of helping someone, then it was a chance worth taking. And because of that, He nearly fighting a battle he knew he might not win. And Penny... was killed... just to make a statement." Ruby explained.
"I'm... sorry." Oscar apologized, feeling guilty for what he just said.
"I am scared, but not just for me. What happened at Beacon shows that Salem doesn't care if you're standing against her or not. She'll kill anybody, and that scares me most of all. Ben... Penny... I'd be lying if I said that it didn't hurt, that I didn't think about them every day since I lost them, that I didn't wish I had spent more time with them. If it had been me instead, I know they would have kept fighting too, no matter how dangerous it was. So that's what I choose to do - to keep moving forward." Ruby explained.
Oscar walks up next to Ruby, and they both share a smile. Ruby wipes tears coming from her eyes with her arm.
"C'mon, if we don't hurry, Nora's gonna eat everything. It wouldn't be the first time." Ruby said, putting a hand on Oscar's shoulder.
Ruby begins to leave the room as Oscar lingers for a bit which she waits for a moment.
'She really is remarkable, isn't she?' Ozpin telepathically.
"Yeah. She must've been one of the best Huntresses at Beacon, huh?" Oscar asked.
'*chuckling* In some ways, yes. But in many others... no. She has her quirks, her faults, just like everyone else. But she also possesses something unquantifiable: a spark, that can inspire others even in the darkest of times.' Ozpin explained telepathically.
"This must be really hard on her too." Oscar said.
'It most assuredly is.' Ozpin replied.
"Oh! Not to interrupt whatever you're talking about, but can I talk to Professor for a few moments? There's something I've been meaning to ask him." Ruby asked.
"What do you need to ask of me, Miss Rose?" Ozpin asked, taking over.
"Well, I'm going to go visit my extended family soon that is right in the kingdom and I was wondering if you knew anything about Majora the Mask Maker and Gold Rose." Ruby explained.
"I don't know about any mask maker, but I do know Gold Rose. She was my companion for close to 150 years before Salem herself killed her." Ozpin explained, shocking both Ruby and Oscar.
"Wait, what?!" / 'Wait, what?!' The two cried in sync.
"Yes. She explained that her demon heritage with what little knowledge, she knew gave her a very long and extended life. She was 40 when I met her, but she looked to be in her early 30s." Ozpin explained.
"Ohhhh, well, did she explain anything about my mask and such?" Ruby asked.
"She didn't tell me much, but she did tell me each mask her children and grandchildren made were very unique, so no to being exactly alike, her daughter, Bloom Rose, had a blood mask, but due to being a direct descendent, she was much stronger than your mask." Ozpin explained.
"What else could she do?" Ruby asked.
"She had a Inner Jaw all her descendants had, but like Nero, she did have a Devil form none of her descendants have shown, without giving into their inner demon." Ozpin explained.
"Inner Jaw?" Ruby asked, remembering the Xenomorphs from Ben's Universe have a Inner Jaw which were use for their infamous Headbite.
"Use your mask and stick out your tongue." Ozpin instructed.
Doing as she told Ruby found she did indeed a piston-like tongue tipped with a secondary set of jaws, but had no teeth, giving it to appearance of a straw more than anything, however, all of a sudden the Inner Jaw revealed retractable teeth that she caused at will, which were Xenomorph-like teeth, becoming aware that it has MORE features that will be seen later on since the Rose Women Demon Mask shares VERY similarities with the Xenomorph Inner Jaw.
"Whoa! I got to show this to the others!" Ruby cried, rushing up the stairs, knowing that she would want to see if it had more features than it looks as the scene shifted to Ben finishing his story.
Back with Ben and the others.
"What do you think, Marco?" Ben asked.
Marco not knowing what to say but believed this man as he could feel the same spirit and devotion to a cause that Whitebeard always had.
"What do do you need us to do, Pops?" Marco asked, bringing a grin to Ben.
"Create Chaos. We need to create so much chaos that will destroy the World Government and the Marines so in case Nightmare does come here, the chances of him getting his hands on the knowledge of Ancient Weapons is slim. Those things are the equivalent of a Nuclear Bomb and Nightmare can easily create and upgrade them." Ben explained.
"What's a nuclear bomb?" Mira asked.
"It's the equivalent of the Etherion and in theory, the ancient weapons could be something just as if not more powerful." Ben explained, ignoring the shop and scared looks from a Fairy Tail group.
"So what do we do?" Koan asked.
"We'll go home while they create chaos. Speaking of which, my son, I have a favor to ask of you." Ben explained, turning towards Ignia.
"What is it?" Ignia asked.
"I've wrong to you in every way by not listen. I've always regretted disowning you and while I cannot give you a kingdom tomorrow, I can give you something even better." Ben explained posing as he gestured his hand towards the Ocean.
"The entire world can belong to you if you do what I ask." Ben explained, gaining his full attention.
"I'm listening." Ignia replied.
"Now, this world's much bigger than Earth Land. Now, it's mostly ocean, however, there are no true dragons like they are back home. Now there are a few fruits that allow you to turn into a dragon, but clearly you don't need them. All you have to do is follow the following rules." Ben explained, pausing once again to pull out a scroll.
"Rule 1: No killing the True Innocent. I know you can tell who is Innocent and Guilty, so don't play any tricks and you know what I mean. Rule 2: You leave any member of the Straw Hats and Blackbeard Crew alone. Rule 3: You're not allowed to kill any Marine Admiral, Monkey D. Garp, Big Mom, Kaido. Rule 4: You do not kill anyone on the Whitebeard Crew and you must treat them all as Family. Rule 5: And this is the most important rule; I claim the Right of Vengeance on Akainu/Sakazuki. Other than those rules, you can do whatever you want." Ben explained, bringing a dark Grin to Ignia.
"Hehehehe. I like the sound of this very much." Ignia replied.
"Good. Marco, find the others and create as much Chaos as possible. I know you want to live your days in peace, protecting my home island, but ultimately, it's your choice." Ben explained.
"I'll help, Pops. It may take a while to gather up the entire fleet again, but I'll round up those who survive and we'll create Chaos to help you in this war." Marco replied.
"Good. Also, you may want to find Nico Robin and protect her. She's the only known person who can read the Poneglyph." Ben added.
"Will do, Pops." Marco replied.
"Good luck, Big Brothers!" Kitty added.
Ignia just grinned as he looked forward to this moment as he grew to his full length And took to the sky to find all The Whitebeard Pirates Which Marco took after assuming his full Phoenix form.
"Now what?" Natsu asked.
"First, I get a new outfit for the War, I'm far from invincible and I do need some extra protection." Ben explained.
"I could use a new outfit as well." Koan added.
"It's important." Julie added, gesturing to her new body to emphasis.
"Then let's go shopping!" Helen cried.
Smiling, Ben grew into Igneel and flew them to Mary Geoise, aiming to not only get some supplies for the war like clothing, but also to cause a small amount of trouble within the corrupted World Government, not to the extent of the Revolutionary Army, but enough to know Whitebeard lives.
In Menagerie.
In an ominous looking room, a small device projecting a blue hologram with the text "MESSAGE END" deactivates. The room is candlelit, and there are White Fang banners hanging along the walls. Corsac and Fennec stand in front of a painting.
"Your thoughts?" Fennec asked.
"Are of no significance. If this is how High Leader Taurus wishes to proceed, then we shall make it so." Corsac replied.
"Of course, brother. Still..." Fennec said, trailing off at the end.
A knock on the door is heard behind them.
"Come in." Corsac called.
Ilia enters the room.
"Sister Ilia, thank you for meeting with us." Fennec said.
"How may I be of assistance?" Ilia asked, kneeling.
"Please, stand." Corsac commanded which she does.
"We have wonderful news." Corsac explained.
"What is it?" Ilia asked.
"We finally received a message from the Mistral brotherhood: the operation was a success. Adam Taurus has claimed his place as the High Leader of the White Fang." Fennec explained.
"Good. And... Sienna?" Ilia asked.
"Kidnapped... by Tennyson it seems. The other branches of the Fang have been told our discovery and according to Ganondorf, she cannot leave her hideout without him knowing to kill her, but we must find her before she does find a way to inform the other branches." Corsac explained.
"*Sighs* When we do find her, it'll be a necessary sacrifice. We won't forget everything she did for us." Ilia replied.
"Indeed." Fennec agreed.
The Albains bow at Confusing her for a moment.
"Your maturity and understanding in regards to this matter is appreciated, and it is why we've summoned you here this evening." Corsac explained.
"The White Fang is experiencing... a transitional period." Fennec added.
"Growth requires change." Corsac explained.
"And change can be painful." Fennec finished.
"If it's for the betterment of the Faunus, then... it's a pain we can endure. What's our next mission?" Ilia asked.
"Containment. With the CCT towers still inoperable, we have the luxury of control over the flow of information." Corsac explained.
"News of Adam's ascension has yet to reach Menagerie, but when it does, the citizens of Kuo Kuana will undoubtedly react poorly now that the chieftain has spoken out against us." Fennec explained.
"*sighs* It's my fault the Belladonnas had any ground to stand on." Ilia replied.
"Do not concern yourself with past failures, Ilia. Focus on the future. We have an opportunity for redemption." Corsac explained.
"What do you need me to do?" the Chameleon Faunus assassin asked.
"The Belladonnas are the only remaining threat to Adam's assault on Haven Academy." Fennec explained.
"And so, they must be silenced..." Corsac added.
"S-silenced?" Ilia asked, completely taken back.
"Like Sienna. They stand in the way of true progress for our people." Corsac explained.
"We would never put such a burden on you alone, of course. Your brothers and sisters will be at your side, but your relationship with their daughter makes you an interracial part of this operation." Fennec explained.
"Blake?" Ilia asked.
"We know how close you are with young Blake. Rest assured, High Leader Taurus has requested she be taken alive, but we cannot risk having her present to defend her family." Corsac explained.
"But, the people of Menagerie—" Ilia tried until she was cut off.
"Will come to understand what happens to those who speak out against the White Fang." Fennec explained as his brother placed a hand on her shoulder.
"A necessary sacrifice, Sister Ilia." Corsac added.
Ilia briefly thinks on this, before leaving the room.
"She's right to worry about the citizens. It's possible they may come to see Ghira as a martyr." Fennec explained.
"It is a risk we must take for our High Leader." Corsac added.
Corsac reactivates the device from earlier, showing a blue life-sized hologram of Adam and his message.
"I will not allow them to ruin this! The Belladonna name has brought me nothing but grief!" Adam shouted as he was visibly upset, but brings his hand to face to compose himself.
"You've done well in finding the deserter. Bring her to me, alive. But not before you've slaughtered her family. I have a promise to keep. Also, bring the alien alive. Hurt him if you must, but do not kill, I want his so-called god brother to watch as I make him suffer like I have." Adam continued as he still harbors hatred towards Kirby since the Fall of Beacon and now wants to take it out on Mordred.
The hologram deactivates.
"He seems... unwell." Fennec commented.
"He carries with him a tremendous burden." Corsac argued.
"Are we sure he is the one to lead us?" Fennec asked.
"For now. We must do what is best for the Faunus." Corsac replied as his brother sighed and there was a knock on the door.
"Yes?" Fennec asked.
Yuma comes in.
"Brother Yuma. Did you see to Ghira's messenger?" Corsac asked.
"He rests beneath the waves... along with his warning." Yuma explained.
"Then all is well." Fennec replied.
The Albains give ominous smiles before the screen cuts to black never noticing a listening device hidden within the room or the dark and bloodthirsty chuckle of Mordred outside as he HEARD everything.
Omake: A Start of Time.
Time's Realm
In the realm of Time, it has somehow become even more apparent and boring with most of the Time Walkers out and about trying to keep Time from completely falling apart as a hourglass appear over the throne dropping its sand which formed a tall, and slender young woman with a very busty and curvy figure with wavy knee-length silver hair that has bangs covering her left eye. Her eyes are pure Gold like the Sand around the temple. She wears a straight black leg trousers, a long black coat with a V neck and black fur rimming the cuffs and running down the end of the coat and a large Hourglass shaped ornament on the center of the coat, she also dons a black top underneath. Her outfit is finished with black kitten heels and a yellow stripe on each shoes. For accessories she wore a large, black feathery Scarf around her neck.
Looking around, the Beautiful Lady held out her hand and summoned her Symbol of Power, the Sands of Time, and tapped the ground summing all the Time Walkers.
"I am the New Embodiment of Time and let me tell you all this now: I will take every threat to Time seriously." the new embodiment of Time warned as her new name is Lady Time.
"We understand, our lady." the Time Walkers replied.
"Good. Now all of you will focus on keeping Time stable, so no more time portals will open up while I find a Champion to send everything back that came out of the said portals to restore and correct the timelines of the Multiverse back to the way it was." Lady Time explained seriously as she took a seat on her throne to summon a TV screen going across every Time User in the Multiverse.
