Hanna looked over as a young woman in a black robe appeared in front of her, the woman was crouched, hunched over in what looked like fear.

"Hello." Hanna said, her voice echoing around the chamber, "You must be Saibra."

The woman looked over at her, "Am I dead?"

"Nope." Hanna replied with a grin, "Death with benefits. The benefits being that you're not dead and that the others think you're dead and so are less likely to give you away. You're actually on a spaceship not too far above the bank. Got to say, I'm impressed. You're doing very well."

"Who are you?" Saibra asked, getting to her feet. "Are you the Architect?"

Hanna laughed, "I'm a 22 year old Scottish human girl. No, I'm not the Architect. I am, however, a good friend of his. My name's Hanna. Hanna MacKay."

"So, who is he? The Architect?"

"You are impatient, aren't you? All in good time. First thing I should probably tell you though, this was never a bank heist."

"What? What do you mean it's not a bank heist? We were breaking into a bank!"

Hanna paused, "Okay well, yes, technically it is a bank heist. However, it's a heist with a twist and it isn't over yet." She gestured to a silver case on the table in front of her, just like the ones that had been in the bank. "But we need to wait for Psi."

Saibra looked at her suspiciously as she sat down in one of the two spare chairs in front of Hanna, "How do you know Psi is going to turn up?"

"Time travel," Hanna shrugged, "Keep out of the way and watch how it happens. Then when I'm actually needed, take my place and kinda hope that I actually say the things I'm supposed to. It's a bit weird but you get used to it."

"So… this is the second time this has happened to you? How come you weren't with us in the bank? Why is your job to… be up here and guard the case?"

Hanna laughed, "Because this isn't the second time, technically it's the third. Time travel is weird. But basically there's an alternative universe where this has already happened and I've seen it all. So I can't be involved due to this happening for me first a good few years ago." She leaned back in her chair with a smile, "However the job of 'Guardian of the Architect's creepy suitcase' was free and here I am. Tea?" She nodded towards the teapot that was sitting on a second table that Saibra hadn't noticed before.

The other woman nodded, "Thanks. It's been a stressful day."

Hanna chuckled a little, "It's not over yet. However a tea break while we wait for Psi is in order. I'll pour one for him too, he won't be long."

She was right. Not long after the tea had been poured, Psi appeared, taking a half step forwards to stabilise himself as he staggered slightly at the change in gravity.

"Wh-Where am I?" He looked around in fear, "What's going on?"

"Teleporter." Hanna said by way of explanation as she passed him a cup of tea, "Come on, sit down and have a drink. We don't have much longer before you two will have to go back."

"Go back?" He echoed, "I don't even know where I am!"

"Rescue ship." She said, gently guiding him to sit, "Teleporter, not a shredder. The others think you're dead, they can't know about this place. Not yet anyway. I'm Hanna, no I am not the Architect, no I can't tell you who he is. I know everything because I'm from the future." She glanced at Saibra, "Does that cover everything?"

Saibra shrugged, "I guess so. Everything you've told me anyway."

"What are you doing here?" Psi asked.

"Guardian of the Creepy Suitcase." Hanna replied, turning the case around so that it faced both of them and opening it.

There wasn't anything inside except a DNA sample and a small key. The voice of the Architect echoed from somewhere within.

The Architect explained the next part of the plan without really saying anything. Psi and Saibra were to disguise themselves as security guards using the suit and DNA provided and return to the bank. The Doctor and Clara's guilt would hugely cover up their own so there would be little chance of discovery. Hanna was to wait in the orbiting ship they were currently on with the TARDIS to await their (hopefully) triumphant return.

"TARDIS?" Psi asked once the message was finished.

Hanna stood and walked up to the tarnished blue machine that stood in half shadows across the room from them, "The TARDIS is how I got here. She's the Doctor's ship."

"So… we need to go back? Now?" Saibra asked, getting to her feet and starting to examine the case that contained DNA sample, "I'm guessing this is my cover."

Hanna nodded, pointing to a locker, "Psi's is over there. If you can both get changed as quickly as possible then enter the teleporter, we'll get you sent back and I can go back to my book."

The cybernetically enhanced man picked up the key from the case and unlocked the locker, pulling on the suit, "You don't seem worried about this at all."

"I know how it turns out." Hanna said, "You just have to trust me."

"And this mysterious Architect." Psi pointed out.

Hanna grinned, "Yes, and him. How about you trust me and I'll trust him on your behalf?"

There was no response except for a suspicious glance but as neither of them complained or asked any more questions, Hanna decided to take that as a good thing. If she was being honest with herself, she knew a lot less about how things turned out than she was letting on. But she wasn't lying when she said that she was confident in how all of this would end. After all, she'd helped the Architect set it all up and was now here to just make sure things got nudged in the right direction. It wasn't lying to them as such, more concealing some of the truth.

Once they were ready, Psi and Saibra looked at her from their teleportation points. She smiled winningly at them and pressed the button that would send them down into the bank.

She sat back in her chair and picked up her book again, trying to ignore the solar storm that was brewing just outside the ship. It would hold and if she was really worried she'd go into the TARDIS and relax there until everyone returned. It wasn't like she had anything else to do at this point.

It took a lot less time that she thought for the four bank robbers to return. Though technically not robbers.

Clara looked over at her and grinned, inclining her head towards the Teller and its mate. Not the last one, the last two. The Doctor's reward for breaking into the bank, saving a species. Something that happened all too rarely in times like this.

Saibra walked over and hugged her, wrapping her arms around Hanna tight. Nothing happened. The other woman didn't transform like she had before. Her image was stable, her face her own.

Hanna grinned and hugged her back, just as tight, "It worked. You got what you wanted?"

Saibra grinned, "Yeah. I can touch people now. I'm not on my own."

As they released one another, Psi walked over, clasping Hanna's hand tightly and pulling her towards him in a one-armed hug, "I can remember them. My family. My friends."

Hanna's grin widened, "So… neither of you are alone anymore."

Psi smiled at her, "I guess not." He looked at Saibra. "Time to go?"

The Doctor joined them and herded them all into the TARDIS, not giving them a chance to argue. There was work to be done.

The Doctor, Clara and Hanna stood together as they watched the two Tellers walk away. They'd found a quiet place where the two of them could be happy.

"So much mental traffic in the universe." The Doctor said thoughtfully, "Solitude is the only peace."

They stayed there for a moment before looking at once another and returning to the TARDIS.

They got a takeaway and all sat in the TARDIS console room with it. They talked and laughed and ate, enjoying themselves and the company of the new friends they had made. Psi and Saibra were dropped off one by one before the TARDIS once again landed on Earth.

"7:12 local time, as promised." The Doctor announced as Clara put on her jacket to leave, "Go and enjoy yourself. Go and enjoy yourself. Don't do anything I wouldn't do."

Hanna laughed, "That doesn't rule much out."

Clara shook her head, trying not to laugh along with her, "This is a date." She paused, "You know, I've just realised I'm going out for another meal now."

"Don't worry, calories consumed on the TARDIS have no lasting effect."

"Wha- are you kidding?" Clara sounded excited by the prospect. Hanna just rolled her eyes.

"Of course I'm kidding." The Doctor replied, "It's a time machine, not a miracle worker."

"It only works because of all the running." Hanna added, leaning against the console and making no move to leave.

"Bye-bye." The Doctor said pointedly.

"See ya!" Clara ran towards the door, "Don't rob any banks!"

"Don't rob any banks what?" The Doctor answered her quickly.

She paused as she reached the door, replying as if it was obvious "Without me."

"Course not boss." The Doctor said, turning away.

"You really think she's the boss?" Hanna asked once Clara had gone, sitting up on a railing like she normally did.

He looked at her, "Well, she likes to think she is. Who am I to argue? So, when were you going to tell me?"

She looked away, "Tell you… what? Exactly?"

"That you don't know anything."

"Hey, I know a lot of things. I super know loads of things. I just… don't seem to know… the future. Any more."

"Were you going to tell me?"

Hanna shrugged, "I didn't exactly know how. I've known the future since I met you and now I'm… just like everybody else."

He laughed, "You say that like it's possible for you to be like everybody else. So what if you don't know my future any more, doesn't that just make everything more exciting?"

She smiled, "That is true."

He smiled back, "Go on, go home. I'll come pick you and Clara up again soon."

She jumped off her railing, "Thank you, Doctor. I guess I was… worried you wouldn't keep me once I'd run out of future knowledge."

"I'm not going to just dump you like an unwanted puppy. You'd just follow me anyway." He shooed her towards the door, "I'll see you later."

Clara was gone by the time Hanna left the TARDIS. The flat was quiet and empty for once. She grinned and turned on the TV, feeling a lot better now that at least one of her friends knew the truth. She still had no idea how she would tell Clara but that was a concern for another day. She'd figure it out eventually.

Author's Note: Man, this was a long time coming! Sorry it's been so long. I'd intended to update sooner but y'know, life got in the way. I've got a couple more chapters all ready to go and hopefully the upcoming Camp NaNoWriMo as well as being inside all the time due to this self-isolation will give me the time I need to get some more updates done. See, told you I was coming back!
