Ezra's P.O.V
I groaned. The first thing I realized that whatever the bed was made out of was cold and hard. I opened my eyes and blinked a couple times taking in my surroundings. A light hung above was on while everything else in the room was pitch black. I tried to move to then see that I was restrained to a platform.
Where am I? Did the Empire capture me? I knew I shouldn't have followed that hallucination, I thought, frustrated.
"I see you are awake," a man's voice came.
My eyes scanned the shroud of shadows looking for the source of the voice.
"Who's there?" I asked, narrowing my eyes and trying to see through the darkness. Footsteps approached from behind as the person walked around the platform I was strapped too. Cold blue eyes met mine and a knowing smirk graced his lips.
No way, was my first thought. This had to be an illusion. A trick. This isn't real! This isn't him! This isn't-
"Can't say hello to your own father, I see?" My "dad" joked. I glared at the man and gritted my teeth.
"No, this is just an illusion. A sick hallucination by the Puppet Master! You aren't here! You're not real!" I yelled at the fake. The man seemed discouraged by my disbelief then took a hold of my chin to make me look into his eyes before slapping me across the face.
"Does that feel like an illusion, boy?" My "dad" questioned. A tingling sensation burned my cheek as I kept repeatedly denying the fact that this was truly my father. He was Infected! The Empire didn't have the cure! Did they? More debate was going on in my mind but I was always stuck in the middle.
"Now, you are going to listen and listen very carefully to me," the man spoke.
"And why should I?" I spat back.
"Or your rebel friend will take your consequences," he answered. My blood ran cold and gulped the fear of having Kanan pay for my problems. I wasn't sure what to do after that. What was I supposed to say? I couldn't let Kanan get hurt but no way I was going to help them.
I growled, "What do you want?"
He smiled deviously.

Tua's P.O.V
I was finally released from the med room in which I was cured. I watch Kira color pictures of some...interesting characters. Hera, Ahsoka, Cornelius, and Sato were in the room next to us having an emergency meeting about Ezra.
No one has seen him in a couple of days and as a mother, I worried about the child's safety. They spent those days searching the forest for any clues to where the youth may have gone but there is still no hints or clues. Nothing, like he just disappeared in thin air.
Hera had a theory that he may have gone to save Kanan and covered his tracks without anyone noticing. Yet, we all knew that wasn't true. Ezra wouldn't have gotten far out of the forest without running into a problem. The rebel base and Cornelius's lab were the only safe places in these dark trees.
Of course, it's been really...quiet in these horrid woods lately. No rambunctious shrill of Infected or psychotic laughter from murderous human-eating monsters.
It made this place even scarier with how quiet things have gone. Something big was happening and everyone is only worried about getting the Cure this and that.
My eyes locked onto my little girl's picture of a dark figure with red eyes and outlined a white figure with sky blue eyes staring at each other.
"He needs help," Kira explained, pointing to the white figure. She always had a story or reason for each picture she drew. I gave her an impressed look with the wisdom that was carried into my girl's mind. But it disturbed me with the dark figures in almost every picture.
What could she see that I couldn't? It seemed as though Ezra knew what was going on but I never had the chance to ask.
I sighed tiredly and was about to ask something until I got a better look at Kira. She had very unhealthy, pale skin. I could imagine anvils tugging on the top of her eyelids and could have mistaken the dark rolls underneath for mascara. She looked like a walking corpse, dead. Even Kira's breathing didn't sound all too natural, almost rugged.
"Are you okay, sweetheart?" I asked, setting my hand on top of her smaller one. Kira's gaze blankly met mine.
"Don't worry, mommy. My friend said I'll be all better soon once I fall asleep," she reassured me, then shakily reached for a green crayon. That didn't reassure me at all, instead made me feel sick. What friend was she referring too? What could she possibly be talking abo-
A loud thump interrupted my thoughts. My eyes widened and jumped to my feet when seeing my baby girl passed out on the table and her arm that reached for the crayon limp. Kira's eyes did not blink and blood poured from her mouth onto her next picture she had been starting.
I began shouting for help, tears burning my eyes as I cradled Kira in my arms. I sobbed and didn't care for the blood staining the only clothes I had.

Seventh Sister's P.O.V
I waited as the giant doors to my master's room slowly opened with a loud creak. A green glow was the only light in the room, coming from a tank, laying on its side, on the other side of the room. My master loomed on the wall, stretching to the ceiling, behind the tank. His red eyes watched as I walked in and the door closed behind me.
Inside laid my most prized possession.
Second sister stood off to the side and stared at the opposite wall. She was master's most prized student but I plan on outranking her once she is "accidentally" removed from the picture. But until then...
"You wanted to see me, master?" I said.
"Tell me, what do you know of this child?" My master asked. I tried to understand what his motives were with the child but found nothing.
"He is my most prized possession. He has been in a coma ever since he was born and my parents didn't want him," I answered, firmly. I watched the little boy floating in the tank, still in his coma-like state.
My little brother.
"When was he born, Seventh Sister?" Master asked.
"The day everything had changed. Why do you ask such odd questions?" I asked. Master looked at me then suddenly it felt like I was being stabbed repeatedly and twisted into knots.
"I ask the questions. You answer them," Master spoke darkly before letting me go. I sucked in a deep breath and fell to my knees.
"Y-Yes, master," I gasped before shakily standing back up.
"What powers does he possess?" The entity asked. I raised an eyebrow, not knowing.
"I do not know," I answered, truthfully.
"Do you know why he is in this coma or why your parents rejected the child while you...wanted him?" He asked. I stood stiffly in my place. My mother and father were very cruel and once hearing my brother would never wake up, abandoned him. I stayed and took care of him without my parents knowing.
I used their money to keep up his treatment. I felt something I've never felt before when first seeing the young boy. Everyone, even the doctors, rejected him except me. The only reason they took care of my brother was that I paid them handsomely.
Soon the hospital closed because of the Empire and then he came. My master. He offered to treat my brother if I did his bidding. I accepted, not giving a second thought.
My memories were wiped and replaced me into someone new, better. Seventh Sister.
My master laughed a little bit I could sense something weak in his presence. I tried to find it again but it disappeared.
"Yessss," he purred, delighted.
"You and the others could sense his power and you stayed because you liked the power he posses. Craved it."
My hands turned into fists so tight that they could be white. My stomach churned with uneasiness and fluttered with curiosity. How does he know? Could he be reading my mind? I am his puppet as long as he keeps his deal.
"Very soon. Your brother will awaken and replace me. I am too old and lost my form ages ago. Now it is time for a new Puppet Master to rise and an old light that it flickering to turn off forever," Master said. I could feel his smirk and his presence fading.
"Second Sister, I trust you to guide the new leader in my absence to face your brother," he said.
"Anything for you master," Second Sister said, respectfully bowing. I narrowed my eyes at her before returning to my leader's attention.
"A new age of darkness is coming and soon this planet will die."
Master laughed. The Cure my master was so desperate for will die but why? He told me once he has the Cure that he could regenerate. Now he wants my coma-state brother to fill his shoes?
"But...why master?" I asked, shocked with the twist in the plans. Master stopped laughing then I was forced back into the rock wall. He was not happy.
"A pity really. You could have been greater but never caught my attention as a favorite, Seven or should I say...Vanessa White," Master purred, before Turing his attention to Second.
"You know what to do..."
Second Sister nodded and walked over to me. The ground beneath me broke apart and vines wrapped around me tightly. I struggled in its grasp and looked at my master with betrayal.
"She shall be the first snack for your new master," he said. Second Sister simply nodded again and I growled before screaming bloody murder.

No one's P.O.V
In the tank, the seven-year-old boy's eyes snapped open for the first time. A weak whisper purred in his ear.
