Backlash: 27/4/2008
Backlash was live at the 1st Mariner Arena in Baltimore, Maryland. the pay-per-view event began with a standard match for the WWE United States Championship, in which the champion, Montel Vontavious Porter (MVP) defended his title against Matt Hardy.
Throughout the match, both Hardy and MVP performed a number of offensive maneuvers on each other, but Hardy eventually gained the advantage when MVP charged Hardy and Hardy dodged him, followed by Hardy performing a Twist of Fate, on MVP. He followed this with a cover for a successful pinfall, giving Hardy the victory and the championship.
The second bout was a standard match for the ECW Championship, in which the champion, Kane defended his title against Chavo Guerrero, who was accompanied by Bam Neely.
Guerrero spent much of the match attacking Kane's leg, and toward the end of the match he performed a Frog Splash, on Kane. Before he could cover Kane for a pinfall, however, Kane chokeslamed him. Kane then covered Guerrero for a pinfall, thus retaining his championship.
The following contest featured The Big Show against The Great Khali in a standard match. Both men wrestled inconclusively until The Big Show performed a body slam onto Khali, after which Khali attempted to perform a two handed chokeslam on The Big Show. The Big Show countered, however, and delivered a chokeslam to Khali. He then covered him for a successful pinfall, winning the match.[14][15]
The fourth match was a standard match between Batista and Shawn Michaels, with Chris Jericho as a special guest referee. The men performed a number of offensive moves on one another throughout the match, including Shawn Michaels performing a crossface on Batista.
The match also briefly went to the ringside area, where the ringpost was used as a weapon by Michaels. The end of the match came when Batista lifted Michaels for a powerbomb, the Batista Bomb.
Michaels, however, escaped from the hold in the air, and when he fell, suffered a storyline knee injury, which caused Jericho to check on Michaels and stop Batista from acting. Michaels eventually got to his feet, and used Sweet Chin Music on Batista. Michaels then covered Batista for a successful pinfall, winning the match. Afterward, Michaels returned to the backstage area while limping heavily.
The next contest was a twelve-Diva tag team match featuring the team of Beth Phoenix, Melina, Natayla, Victoria, Layla, and Jillian Hall against the team of Mickie James, Ashley, Maria, Michelle McCool, Kelly Kelly, and Cherry. The match began with Michelle McCool against Beth Phoenix, and over the course of the match, all of the women participated in the contest. The end of the match came when Beth Phoenix performed a fisherman suplex on Ashley, and then covered her for a successful pin, giving her team the victory.
The next match was for the World Heavyweight Championship.
Undertaker was defending his World Heavyweight Championship against the former Champion Edge in a singles match. The match was contested back and forth between the two men, with the early portions of the match featuring The Undertaker controlling much of the action. Edge eventually took an advantage when he exposed the turnbuckle in the corner, and The Undertaker ran head first into it. Curt Hawkins then struck The Undertaker with the World Heavyweight Championship belt, which was followed by an unsuccessful cover by Edge.
Edge then attempted to hit Undertaker with a spear, but The Undertaker countered the maneuver hitting Edge with a DDT. Zack Ryder then attempted to interfere on behalf of Edge, but The Undertaker threw Edge into Ryder and then caught Edge in an attempted Tombstone Piledriver, in which The Undertaker would have held Edge upside down and knelt, driving Edge's head into the mat.
Edge countered the move, however, into a sunset flip. While Edge was pinning The Undertaker, however, The Undertaker performed a gogoplata submission hold, which caused Edge to submit, giving The Undertaker the victory. The Undertaker continued to apply the hold after the match ended, injuring (in storyline) Edge. Edge was removed from the ring on a stretcher by medics, making his injury appear realistic.
OOOOOOWHOOOOOO!
The crowd cheered at the wolf howl as the lights went out and when they came back on...THE BLADEWOLF WAS IN THE RING WITH THE BRIEFCASE IN HAND! Undertaker turned around... AND WAS BLASTED ACROSS THE FACE WITH IT!
The crowd gave this a mixed reaction as Bladewolf gives the briefcase to the referee, making of clear what he was here for. The referee informed Justin Roberts who began announcement. "Ladies and gentlemen, Bladewolf is cashing in his Money in the Bank contract! Therefore, this match will be for the World Heavyweight Championship!"
The referee immediately called for the bell.
'Ding! Ding! Ding!'
Bladewolf grabs Undertaker and scoops him onto his shoulder and hoods him upside down in front of him...BEFORE HITTING A TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER! BLADEWOLF HOOKS THE LEG! ONE! TWO! THRE! WE HAVE A NEW WORLD CHAMPION!
'Ding! Ding! Ding!'
Kick Ass plays to a mixed reaction as some fans were happy to see Bladewolf as World Champion, but some didn't like the fact he beat Undertaker.
"Here is your winner and the NEW! WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION... THE BLADEWOLF!" Bladewolf is handed the World Heavyweight Championship, the one title he had to vacate the first time he won it. The one title he won 2 years ago at WrestleMania 22 but only had it for a night before vacating it.
Bladewolf rolls out of the ring and makes his way up to the stage and lifts the World Heavyweight Championship. He lost the Intercontinental Championship but now he's once again World Champion, the new World Heavyweight Champion...
I hope you enjoyed that chapter. Bladewolf cashed in his Briefcase and became the new World Heavyweight Champion, winning the title for a second time. Also, the Fireman's Carry Facebuster move that Bladewolf uses, which is also known as the F5, it's now renamed to the Fury of the Wolf.

Bio: At a young age, George watched WWE and dreamed of being a WWE Superstar. So he trained on the streets, occasionally getting into fights with those that mocked him and did sometimes get beat up in this weights but that's one of the reasons he trained for wrestling. When he 18 was years old, he began wrestling in independent events at places like school gyms, his performance soon earning the attention of WWE when they sent a talent scouter out and they noticed him.
In October 1997, Vince McMahon himself paid George a visit and offered him a job, just a month off from the young man's 18th birthday. George immediately agreed and would make his debut the following week on Monday Night RAW. Vince wanted George's character to be a lost, younger brother of the Undertaker and Kane, an idea George agreed to.
George became the youngest WWE Champion in history when he defeated Shawn Michaels and Stone Cold Steve Austin at WrestleMania 14, winning the title at only 18 years old. He also has an undefeated streak of his own.
George has defeated many superstars over the years, Undertaker, Kane, Stone Cold, Triple H, The Rock, Big Show, Hulk Hogan, Booker T, Brock Lesnar, Shane McMahon, Kevin Nash, among many others he's faced. He's won matches and he's lost matches. He is a 6-time Intercontinental Champion, an 8-time World Tag Team Champion, a 3-time WWE Tag Team Champion, a 2-time United States Champion, a 3-time WWE Champion, and a 1-time World Heavyweight Champion.
In 2005, before WrestleMania 21, Bladewolf was attacked by Randy Orton, who was facing Undertaker at WrestleMania, and left him with an injury that put Bladewolf out of action for 10 months. He returned at the 2006 Royal Rumble and won the match. He faced Randy Orton at No Way Out inside a Hell in a Cell match, which he won. Bladewolf would go on to win the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 22 for the first time in his career and go 9-0 at WrestleMania. However, Bladewolf's leg injury forced him to vacate the title and take two months off.
He returned in June on Monday Night RAW, and began a rivalry with Rob Conway that involves Maria, who he began an off screen relationship with which went on screen after Bladewolf's rivalry with Conway ended. After this, h reformed Wolfpack with Jackal and Bladewolf scored his 9th World Tag Team Championship reign. Bladewolf also won the WWE Intercontinental Championship for a 7th time but this caused Jackal to turn on him, turning Heel.
The two had a Hell in a Cell match at SummerSlam, which Jackal won and ended Bladewolf's reign at 27 days. Bladewolf returned to WWE at Cyber Sunday as a mystery opponent in Jackal's title match against Jeff Hardy. Bladewolf ended up winning the match to become an 8-time Intercontinental Champion. After this, Jackal went to ECW while Bladewolf went on to loose his title two weeks later to Jeff Hardy thanks to Big Show and Umaga.
Bladewolf became a member of John Cena's survivor Series team and got the team the victory but Bladewolf had s condition with joining Cena's team and that was a WWE Championship match the next night on RAW. Bladewolf won the match and became a 4-time WWE Champion. Bladewolf went on to defeat John Cena at Armageddon and the 2007 Royal Rumble, became World Tag Team Champions with Shawn Michaels, defeated Batista & Undertaker at No Way Out in a tag team match with Shawn Michaels, defeated Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania 23 to go 10-0, the next night Bladewolf turned Heel for the first time in his career. He reunited the Wolfpack and they dominated Monday Night RAW.
Bladewolf went on to hold the WWE Championship for 304 days, defeating all challengers at Backlash, Vengeance, The Great American Bash, SummerSlam, and Unforgiven. He turned Face at the Great American Bash after shaking Bobby Lashley's hand. He was stripped of the WWE Championship after suffering an injury at the hands of Randy Orton.
He returned at Survivor Series as part of Triple H's team, replacing Matt Hardy. He then returned full time after defeating Jeff Hardy on the 15th anniversary of RAW, winning his 9th Intercontinental Championship. Bladewolf failed to win the 2008 Royal Rumble, and an Elimination Chamber match at No Way Out, but qualified for the Money in the Bank match, which he won to go 11-0 at WrestleMania. For the RAW and SmackDown after WrestleMania, he made sure to Scout the Champions.
On the 14th of April episode of RAW, Bladewolf lost the Intercontinental Championship to Chris Jericho, ending his reign at 126 days. At Backlash, Bladewolf cashed his briefcase in on Undertaker's World Heavyweight Championship, successfully winning and winning his 2nd World Heavyweight Title reign.
