Hey everyone,

Just trying to get one more update out before the weekend is up. This chapter is slightly short compared to other chapters. I really love my twist on Dobby. I also think I need to Write a Fleur and Narcissa fic someday though. They are kinda pulling at me. As always enjoy.

Thank you

Snow

Narcissa spent the night in the dungeon. Snape and Narcissa held each other on his sofa and it seemed as if they both needed that the most. When Narcissa was roused from sleep it was because Severus had things to administer to as he clutched papers in his hand and spoke into the Floo.

Narcissa waved him aside. She could see she still needed someone, but she could not let him think she was weak, that she needed anyone. She was Narcissa Black, and she will be her in full glory once again… soon. With that on her mind, Narcissa head to her quarters. When there she touched the painting, Martin commented but she didn't hear the ghost in the painting, and once inside she bypassed the common room, looked to her sons' room, door closed, and then to her room. She swallowed as it was now only her room. She saw the journal on the desk, grabbed it and grabbed the flu powder. She toned her destination and when she arrived, she was not expected to be barreled into by two overzealous house elves. She at down and let her boys hug her. But it was Dobby that pulled away. He looked down to Narcissa's stomach, and then to her blue eyes.

"Oh mistress," he whispered, and he placed his tiny hands on her cheeks and looked into her eyes. He slowly and gently got off Narcissa and Ducky followed suit. Ducky's ears were still up and excited, seemingly unaware, when Dobby's were slightly floppy.

"Come we will run a bath for you, get you tea, and then turn down the bed. We will take care of you," Dobby grabbed her hand and she let the little elf pull her into the room. She stood in the room, looked around. This was their place.

"Dobby, I want this room redecorated. Tomorrow if it is no trouble. Different colors, different furniture," she looked to the bed, "and a new bed set," She sighed and walked to the bed, and flopped down. She curled up in the sheets, and inhaled. Her eyes snapped closed, and then she popped from the bed and walked to the bathroom. The bath was just what she needed, and as she soaked, she let her thoughts run, and when she got out of the bath, she felt fresh, and shiny.

She walked to her room, tried not to look around, and reached for a pants suit. She didn't care what the colors were, she knew she exuded power in anything she put on really that was a suit. She grabbed her purse, and her wand. She apparated and looked to the structure before her. She walked in, and she was not even through the door when she was met. She was escorted and taken to the back. She held her head high. Her gait screamed charisma, and her baring spoke of power. The door opened.

"Narcissa," Scrollblade greeted her softly as he approached her and took her hand. She let him, and then he guided her to the chair.

"How can I help you today?" Scrollblade asked softly. Kept it open and in her court. She watched the goblin watch her.

"Hermione is missing," she said emotionless. As if she told the goblin knives are sharp. She watched his facial expressions. She has known him long enough to know his expressions, and he too was expressionless.

"I am also with Hermione's child," Narcissa said as if clouds were grey on a stormy day. Finally, an emotion.

"How? No… I don't need to know. That was foolish," then Scrollblade looked at her, watched her, "She is Hermione's Heir. I wasn't prepared for this so soon, but both of your wills are explicit…"

"I know what our wills have stated, but with Hermione gone, Not knowing what happened to her, I need to make sure this child is taken care of," Narcissa swallowed.

"Just in case you pass when the child is born?" Scrollblade asked slowly. Narcissa nodded.

"Gods, this is so hard," she confessed, and the goblin walked around the desk, and sat next to her, took her hand, and let her get under control.

"We will take care of the child. She is the Martindirk Heir after all," the goblin smiled.

"I guess Harry and Draco will not be getting those vaults," Narcissa tried to joke, and the goblin smiled horribly and shook his head.

"However, your son, and his lover have gained the respect of the goblins," Scrollblade began and walked behind his desk to get away from her wrath. Her eyes narrowed as she wiped tears from below her eyes.

"Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy Black asked to go through a trial of rite to marry according to goblin traditions," Scrollblade told the woman. He silently erected a forcefield, but the magic never came. He watched the woman though. She was shocking in her rage, and he would not be caught unawares. Then she sighed.

"I see," she pressed her hand to her forehead, and then closed her eyes, "I have missed so much," she muttered. Then looked at Scrollblade.

"You didn't know, did you?" the goblin drew the conclusion and then sighed.

"No, it was brought up, but I was… incapacitated," Narcissa said not wanting to sound weak.

"You can say grieving Narcissa. We goblins morn for years, one month is time, if the time feels right," then Scrollblade reached into his desk for a tube and handed it to her. She took it with a sculpted eyebrow lifted.

"Draco told me you haven't been yourself, not present, and he wished you were there when he and Harry took the trials," Scrollblade pointed to the tube, "Take those documents to boys. It might help you bridge a gap with your son," Scrollblade sighed when she nodded, shrank the tube and placed it in her purse. She stood.

"Unfortunately my friend, I just wanted to tell you what I know, but it appears you know much more than I do," she said with a sad smile then patted her bag, "Thank you for this, and thank you for taking care of the Hermione's child," Narcissa said.

"She is yours too Narcissa. Don't forget that," Scrollblade shot to the woman. Narcissa walked to exit, and nodded her farewell, until next time.

When she popped to Hogwarts, she walked the sidewalk in her pants suit. It felt good to feel the strength she got from more formal clothes. Sure, a pants suit was formal, but it gave her a secret thrill of power. She walked up as she dug in her purse, found the tube. She shrank her purse, and placed it in her pocket, enlarged the tube, and then holstered her wand in her sleeve. She heard a cackle and rounded the corner. It was a similar scene from yesterday, but Fleur was there helping the boys as well. Narcissa watched and looked at her family right there before her. It was Fleur who looked to see Narcissa but didn't tell anyone yet. The huge castle stone was placed in the wall. The wall looked good, finished. Narcissa leaned in the archway, and Fleur simply, slowly walked to Narcissa.

"You look divine," Fleur said as she slid her arms around Narcissa's waist and pulled her to her softly, yet they lingered in each other's arms, "You always have looked positively delicious in pants suits," Fleur backed away and fingered the lapel near her chest. Narcissa narrowed her eyes at the tease, "Especially navy blue, brings out your eyes, mon amour," Fleur kissed her lips and then turned to look at the wall.

"You look better than yesterday, Cissy," Bella popped over to her sister as she chugged water.

Narcissa nodded but found her son. The son that had grown from her and would not look one moment at her. Narcissa walked toward her son and stopped next to him and looked up and found Harry and motioned him over. Draco finally looked at her as she stood before the couple and handed them a tube. Draco cocked his head and took it. They opened the tube and looked at the documents.

Harry's smile was like a fire flare on dark seas, positively brilliant. Bella came up behind them, and kissed his cheek, and threw an arm around his shoulders like a proud mother. Draco looked over the pages and his eyes shot up. Narcissa was already walking across the courtyard, then stopped in the archway. She placed her hand on the entryway, resting there as she turned back and found her son's blue eyes. They were wide and bright, like they had been before all their losses. She smiled, a real, loving smile and nodded. The hand that braced on the archway went to her lips, then into his direction then to her heart. Then she walked away.

Her legs felt like they were hit with a jelly legs jinx. She walked from her son. She didn't want to feel like she was intruding on his happiness. He now knows she will be there. She was so caught in her own head she didn't hear footsteps speed down the hall toward her, and a hand clutch at her elbow. She spun, and jerked her elbow from the grasp, wand in her hand. She saw her son's blue eyes, looked at the wand, and shrugged her apology with a small smirk. Placing the wand away, she didn't know what to say now she had him close.

"Thank you," he said as he slowly placed his arms around her. She melted in his embrace and when her arms came around his waist, she clutched him hard to her. She closed her eyes, never wanting to give him up. But he pulled away and smiled at her.

"You back with us?" he asked nervously. She hated what she put him through. She cupped his chin, then placed her palm on his cheek.

"I will need help my son. I think we all will, but I believe the worst is past. I am so sorry my love. I didn't mean to make you feel like I wasn't there for you," she apologized. She looked into his eyes. "I need to speak with you about something very important, but today, with the delivery of those documents… spend time with your beloved. I know it was the only thing I wanted to do when I saw them for the first time," Narcissa said with a tiny knowing smile. Draco nodded, clutched the hand at his cheek.

"Tomorrow?" he asked.

"I have my coin," she said, and he beamed at her. He ran off to Harry, to be with the other half of his heart. Narcissa watched, and then relaxed slightly when she saw Fleur, and Bella walk her way.

"You stood us up Cissy," Bella griped at her sister.

"I went to Severus yesterday, he showed me," She began, and it was Fleur that took Narcissa's arm and began to walk.

"He showed us his memories love, it was… How are you feeling?" Fleur asked gently. Narcissa scoffed and held out her hands. She was bulletproof, or that's what she wanted everyone to think. On the inside she was falling apart, but it was being rebuilt as it was crumbling.

"Cissy didn't use the memories, did you?" Bella asked as she watched her sister. Fleur looked at Bella and then shook her head.

"Then how?" asked the Veela.

"He let her dive," Bella said softly reverently, "I'm glad you are here. Now how about you help us," Bella asked with an evil leer, but Fleur slapped her gut with the back of her hand, "What? I'm helping. She can help too," Bella complained.

"It's part of your sentencing and community service," Fleur reiterated as if she had to say this many times in the past.

"Yes well, the more people to help the sooner its over and the sooner we don't have to lift these enchanted stones. Did you know they are much heavier than regular stones because they are magic imbibed rock!" Bella threw her hands in the air and walked ahead of them complaining and twirling her wand. Occasionally, Bella would blast a suit of armor only to fix it, and cackle.

"She has come a long way," Narcissa said to Fleur.

"Yes, but she still has along way to go yet. I think she feels light, and free to have a personality other than maniacal, twisted, homicidal bitch," Fleur comments as she watched Bella and a smile slipped to her lips, "I never knew she was so funny, almost innocent," Fleur said. Then she looked at Narcissa.

"Harry told me of a time Hermione took a spot of darkness and he felt clean and new," Fleur watched as Narcissa sighed and closed, "I'm sorry. I guess she is everywhere. We can talk about something else…" Fleur was stopped as Narcissa shook her head.

"I'm pregnant with her child, she went to school here, she was my wife, and saved so many, effected so many. I have to get used to talking about her. It will help later," Narcissa kept walking with Fleur, and felt her mask fall, it was the vision she had as if it was slightly hooded, as if she tried to block the woman out, but the more she walked around this place she knew she could do no such thing.

"Yes, she did it for Harry. He felt clean, and clear. It was amazing magic. She tried it once with Bella and failed because there was not enough light in her darkness, but she said it was there," Narcissa smiled when she thought of her crazy wife and her sister that time back in Black Hall, "I think when she drove that blade into Bella's arm she held on for so long to take her darkness from her. I look at her now, and I see her similar to Sirius, and Andy, a Marauder, not a death eater," Fleur said and Narcissa smiled as they watched Bella blast the wrong suit of armor and it chased her down the corridor. Fleur looked to Narcissa and they chuckled.

"We also need to talk about that night Narcissa," Fleur said seriously. Narcissa stopped and looked to her friend.

"What happened?" Narcissa asked. Fleur looked down, and then down the corridor, when there was a clatter. Bella's war cry, and casting commenced.

"If she wanted to destroy it, she would," Narcissa said with a smirk as Fleur watched down the hall.

"She thinks all four of us are bound together," Fleur said flatly, and Narcissa blinked. Then slid her eyes shut.

"I am because of Head of House magic, unfortunately that can't be changed… too much," Narcissa began then Fleur shook her head.

"No, it is to an obsessive level. Especially Hermione, and by extension you. I don't think we were supposed to be bonded like this, especially with my Veela bond," Fleur blinked and looked to the ground, "it doesn't feel right."

"Oh, my sweet witch," Narcissa slid a stray hair behind Fleur's ear, "She loves you so dearly," Narcissa smiled warmly to Fleur.

"That isn't all," Fleur began and Narcissa nodded and they began to walk, "The bond has affected me too, but I think it has only exacerbated the affection I have for you and Hermione," Fleur took a breath and Narcissa connected the dots. Remembered the conversation from a few nights ago.

"Taking me and Hermione as your bond mate," Narcissa said slowly asking if that's what she was talking about, and Fleur nodded, "Did we accidently become your bond mates?"

"There is a possibility, of that yes. I was hoping we can have the goblins look at the mark, and see if we can unbind Bella," Fleur said to Narcissa.

"Of course, this is amazing if it had happened, but it's very difficult for you, just imagine what Bella could be feeling. Three 'master's' so to speak. That will… Gods I couldn't imagine," Narcissa felt her heart pound in her chest and then drop, "It was a blood bond Fleur. We need Hermione's blood to break it," Narcissa groaned, and then shook her head.

"Its alright my love," Fleur told Narcissa placing a hand on her shoulder. Narcissa sighed, looked into her Veela's blue eyes, "I wish you would have taken me up on that ménage tois," Fleur said, and then hopped away as Narcissa swatted her backside. Narcissa let her wandless magic free and the Veela found herself being pulled back toward Narcissa, into her arms.

"Sometimes, I wish I would have said yes too," Narcissa confessed against Fleur's ear. She heard the Veela gasp, and swallow.

"Mon dieu, you Black women," Fleur said fanning herself. Narcissa smiled devilishly. She still had it, oh yes, she did, but part of her heart seized. It clenched as she wished above all, her little witch was there with her.

"She would have never let it happen you know," Fleur said and Narcissa cocked an eyebrow, and Fleur smiled softly and took Narcissa's hand.

"She doesn't share very well, Love. And she never wanted to share you," Fleur explained. Narcissa smiled wetly then there was a screech down the hall.

"Let's go save the English cow from eminent danger," Fleur said with a grin and Narcissa simply strolled down the hall smiling.

She would not be alone.
