Bounce Lounge - Bringing Back the Crew!

Loud wailing was echoing throughout the Diaz household. The loud sounds of despair were not from any of the residents of the home but the source of the wails was from a floating guest.

Pony Head had uncontrollable rainbow tears flowing down her face.

Star and Marcia stood before her confused as the floating head cried and cried.

"Uh, Pony Head?" Star questioned

Pony Head did not answer as she continued to bawl her eyes out.

"What's wrong?" Star asked

Through her sobs, Pony Head was able to make out a loud "Ohhhh, noooo!" before floating over and dropping onto Star's bed.

"Pony, use your words," Star said

Marcia's eyes dart around the room, not sure what she should do.

"Did she run out of rainbow toothpaste again?"

Marcia questions thinking back to a few weeks when Pony Head ran out of her favorite toothpaste and came barreling into Star's room crying, just like she was doing now.

"Yeah, probably. Whatever it is, we'll go through it together," Star said

Pony Head whimpered looking to the other two girls in the room.

"Okay, I'll tell you. I am ready to reveal. The Bounce Lounge is closing."

"Oh no…"

Marcia quickly covers her ears seeing the devastated look come onto Star's face. The princess lets out a loud wail her cheek hearts popping like overinflated balloons. Marcia cringes as the wailing continued, Star's shrill cries causing her phone mirror to crack. Several porcelain figures decorating her room shatter into tiny pieces and dozens of picture frames in the housebreak.

Star flings herself onto her bed crying in the comforting sheets.

"The Bounce-L-Lounge is cl-cl-closing?!" Star sobbed out

"I know!" Pony Head exclaimed joining in with Star on the little cry fest.

The two crying girls seek comfort with the only person in the room not crying. Star and Pony Head latch onto Marcia crying on the girl. Marcia just pats their backs, or in Pony Head's case her neck, trying to comfort them.

"Hey, let's not get ahead of ourselves. It's probably not even closing. I mean, since when has Pony Head been right about anything? You know she likes to over exaggerate and be dramatic."

Star pulls away from Marcia leaving behind a trail of sob snot.

"Oh, yeah…"

Marcia groaned looking down at her soiled outfit.

"Let me change then we can go check this out."

With the use of Marcia's dimensional scissors, the girls were easily able to get to the Bounce Lounge which had a large sign floating before it.

BOUNCE LOUNGE IS CLOSING - Milly Sparkles

"It is closing," Marcia said in disbelief.

"I just...I can't believe it," Star said

"Believe it." A female voice spoke.

From the clouds above a light shined down atop Star, Marcia, and Pony Head. The clouds parted and a woman descended, lounging atop a cloud. She was wearing a purple dress with fishnet tights and killer boots. Her face was obscured by an ornate fan she was holding and the large sunglasses donning her face. As she floated down, music, perfect for dancing, played.

Star and Pony Head gasp as the woman floated before them. Marcia just scrunched her brows confused as to who the woman was.

"Oh, my goodness!" Pony Head gasped

"It's Milly Sparkles," Star said

The two girls drop to the floor bowing.

"My liege."

Star grabbed the bottom of Marcia's shorts pulling her into a bow as well.

"Marcia, it is the owner of the Bounce Lounge."

"The Bounce Lounge is indeed closing. The party is over." Milly said

"But why, Milly?" Star asked

"Because business has been slow," Milly stated

The girls peeked around Milly to see how abandoned the Bounce Lounge was. The dance floor was empty and covered in garbage and a lone crow was using the disco ball as a perch.

"No one comes to party here anymore," Milly said

The clubs Robo DJ had long stopped moving to the point it started to rust and gather cobwebs.

"Fare thee well, loyal partiers. And may the Bounce Lounge be with you always!"

Milly floated back up to the clouds and they enclose around her. While Star and Pony Head had a moment trying to take in the news, Marcia walked around the club spotting some photos on the wall. Many of the pictures highlighting Star and Pony Head over the years.

"Wow, you girls used to party here a lot," Marcia said

"Hey, Pony, look!" Star said

"It's us!" Pony Head exclaimed

The first photo was of Star and Pony Head much younger with BFF written on the side of the picture.

"Awww! Besties!" Star said

"Mm-hmm. And there's our junior prom night." Pony Head said

The next photo was obviously during Star's and Pony Head's awkward phase, both girls sporting braces and pimples.

Star winced glancing at the picture, "Uh, yeah...I'm actually trying to forget that."

"O.M.G. That is a classic!" Pony Head laughed

The last photo they looked at featured the two girls with several others. Star pointed out everyone for Marcia listing off their names.

Kelly, Tad, Johnny Blowhole, Headphone Jones, and Lady Scarfs-a-Lot.

"That is the old Bounce Crew, girl!" Pony Head said

"We used to rule this place," Star said

"Nobody partied harder than we did," Pony Head said

"Man, where did the time go?" Star said

"Actually, time doesn't go anywhere. Sometimes things just end, and there's nothing we can do but accept it. Move forward and-!"

Pony Head shushed Marcia putting her horn over the girl's mouth.

"Please be quiet, because Star and I are trying to have a life moment!"

"We haven't been here for so long. I can't help but feel like this is our fault," Star said

Pony Head let out at neighing sob, "And now a part of our life is gone forever."

"Unless-" Star reached over taking the last photo off the wall, "-we get the old Bounce Crew back together!"

"Oh, girl!" Pony Head cheered

First on the list was Kelly. In her picture, Kelly was smiling, clearly having a good time, which was the complete opposite of how she looked at the present moment.

The teal bushy-haired girl was sitting on the ground knees pulled close to her chest looking rather depressed.

"Hey, Kelly. Uh...where's Tad?" Star asked

"Tad and I broke up. There's a bald spot on my head where my heart used to be."

Kelly fell on her side, lying on the ground as she put a Goblin dog in her mouth, chewing on it sadly.

"Oof. That's, like, real sad. In worse news, they are closing the Bounce Lounge!" Pony Head said

"And we're getting the crew back together to save it," Star said

Kelly sat up spitting out her food. "Why not? I can be despondent anywhere."

"All right! Let's go, Kelly!" Star cheered

"Who's next?" Marcia asked

"Johnny Blowhole, the party dare extraordinaire," Star said

The girls arrived at their next destination which happens to be on a pirate ship. Instead of regular pirates, the crew consisted of rabbits or rather Seabunnies that were hopping about the deck. Johnny was the only one not dressed like a pirate but rather a server.

"I don't know, guys," Johnny said

One of the seabunnies claps its little hands together, Johnny gets up and brings a glass of juice to the bunny.

"I have a lot of partying that I have to do here," Johnny said

"Okay, you do not look like you're the one partying," Pony Head said

"No, I'm pretty sure this is partying," Johnny said

Marcia held up a finger. "I, for this rare moment, agree with Pony Head."

A glass of juice flies out from nowhere hitting Johnny on the side of the head. Another seabunny, the captain, hops up to Johnny.

"When you're done, grab your mop. The commode could use some heavy-duty partying," The Captain said

A door on deck opens and they can all see the disgusting commode. The girls' all gasp holding on to one another looks of horror on their faces.

"Oh no!"

"Oh, oh, that is nasty!"

"I think my eyes are dirty from just looking at it."

"He's forgotten what partying is," Star whispered to Pony Head. She turned to Johnny, "They're using you, Johnny."

"Yeah, ditch these nerds and you need to come with us," Pony Head said

The Captain along with a few other bunnies drew out their swords.

"Sorry, ladies. Johnny stays with me-"

Star held up her wand and blast the Captain turning him into a carrot. All of the other bunnies slowly turn to him with hungered looks in their eyes.

"Uh...uh...uh...hey."

"This is my life now. I'm not good at partying any more anyways," Johnny said

"I guess you're right, Johnny. You have lost your partying powers. You probably never even had them in the first place," Star goaded

"Ooooh, you lost them, Johnny Blowhole! That's weak!" Pony Head added

"You guys are wrong, okay? I have my moments," Johnny said

"Prove it. I dare you to save the Bounce Lounge," Star said

Johnny throws his tray into the ocean then he tears off his shirt throwing that away as well.

"I dare you to stop me!" Johnny laughed

"Whoo! Johnny's back!" Star cheered

"Alright, that's two down." Marcia pulled out a clipboard putting a check markdown. "Who's up next?"

The next stop was at a warehouse club dubbed The Null.

"Headphone Jones? Lady Scarfs-a-Lot?" Pony Head called out.

Marcia held up the Bounce Crew's photo searching around the area. She focused on a furry purple creature donned in a scarf with a piano design, and a pair of red headphones. When she lowers the picture she finds who they are looking for.

"Guys over here!" Marcia called

"Yo! Wake up!" Pony Head shouted

The red headphones pop up pulling a headphone jack out of its mouth.

"What do you want?"

The piano scarf rustles a bit before waking up as well.

"And make it quick. You're harshing the cool."

"They're closing the Bounce Lounge," Star said

"Good." Headphones Jones said

"Yeah, that place hasn't been cool in months," Lady Scarfs-a-Lot agreed

"We were getting the crew back together to save it," Pony Head said

"This is a way cooler place to party," Lady Scarfs-a-Lot said

"This is partying?" Star questioned

"Yeah, look how cool we look," Headphones Jones said

Everyone looked around to see other patrons of the club wearing headphones as they floated in the air, they were either asleep or had a distant vacant look in their eyes.

"You thinking what I'm thinking?" Star asked Pony Head.

"Uh-huh," Pony Head said

Pony Head's horn glows as she charges up her magic.

"Ohhh, I feel where this is going," Marcia stated

She pulled up the hood of her sleeveless hoodie before pulling the drawstrings close covering her face.

*BOOM*

Outside The Null, an explosion went off neon smoke bursting out of the doors. In the distance sirens could be heard as a fire truck pulled up.

Star and Marcia, who were covered in colorful smoke gave Pony Head a look, arms crossed.

"What?! I thought that was what you were thinking!"

With their new club destroyed Headphones Jones and Lady Scarfs-a-Lot rejoined the gang, which completes the Bounce Crew.

With everyone in tow the group returned to the Bounce Lounge.

Star ran into the Bounce Lounge arms waving excitedly. "Ah, Milly! Milly, Milly, Milly! The Bounce Crew is back together!"

Milly lowers her sunglasses revealing she had a second pair underneath those.

"What's up, Mills?" Johnny greeted

"I'm afraid that's not enough. You see, the only thing that will save the Lounge is paying off the mortgage. And I can't do that with only-" Milly started counting the people before her, "-One, two, three, four, five, six customers."

"Well, how much do you owe?" Star asked

"Like, a bajillion dollars," Milly answered

"That's a lot of bacon," Pony Head said

"Is that even a real number?" Marcia asked

"Let it go, darlings. Sometimes things just end, and there's nothing we can do but accept it," Milly said

"That is so deep. So new. So unique. Nobody ever said that before," Pony Head said

"Seriously? That's the exact same thing I said," Marcia exclaimed

Pony Head let out a laugh. "I know! I just like to ignore you!"

Marcia rolled her eyes crossing her arms but she had a small smile.

"So, goodbye and thank you for your patronage," Milly spoke as she started to ascend into the air.

Star let out a sigh as Milly vanished into the clouds.

"It's no wonder the place lost money," Marcia said gesturing around her, "What a dump!"

"It always looked like this. Our partying gave the Bounce Lounge its life, and our partying is gonna save it," Star said

"Save it? What?" Kelly said

"No, no, no, she's right. The Bounce Lounge can't go down with the Bounce Crew around," Pony Head said

"Hit it, Pony!" Star said

Pony Head picked up some shutter sunglasses putting them on the DJ robot. The robot powers on and starts playing techno dance music.

"Let's get this party started!" Pony Head shouted

Lights illuminate within the club reflecting off the disco ball. Star and Pony Head start dancing about trying to get the party started.

"Come on, Bounce Crew, what are you waiting for?" Star said

Everyone minus Marcia, joins in kicking the party into high gear.

While the party got started inside Marcia took charge in the front operating the admission booth collecting the fees to get inside.

A goblin creature walked up to the booth.

"Hey, I heard some dance music. Is there a party in here?"

"Yes! Admission is 25 dollars." Marcia said with a smile

"Oh, no, I just need to use your bathroom," The Goblin spoke before walking away.

"How many is that?" Star called out.

"None!" Marcia shouted back.

"Looks like we need to dance harder," Star said

The Bounce Crew started to dance with more enthusiasm pumping up the energy. The raised energy seems to do the trick as two people approached the admission booth handing some money over to Marcia before entering the Bounce Lounge.

"Let's get our groove on!"

Star gasped happily, "It's working!"

"Whoo-hoo!"

"Move to the groove!" Star said

"Yes!" Pony Head cheered

More creatures entered the Bounce Lounge as Marcia continued to collect all of the admission fees dumping them into a large sack, that was quickly filling up. The sack of money moves startling Marcia as Star's head pop's out.

"How many is that now?" Star asked

Marcia quickly shuffled through the money counting it.

"Almost a bajillion less than a bajillion."

"Harder!" Star shouted

The Bounce Lounge gets fuller as more bodies fill the dance floor.

"You heard Star! Dance harder!" Johnny shouted over the music.

"That's what I'm talking about!" Pony Head cheered

"Whoo!"

"Now?" Star asked Marcia.

"We're gonna need a lot more partiers," Marcia said

"You are so right," Star said

She grabbed Marcia by the back of her hoodie dragging her out onto the dance floor.

"Get in there, Marcia! Just move your body! Be yourself! Do those awesome dance moves you did to kick that jerky pretty boy's butt."

"This isn't exactly the type of venue for Ballet," Marcia said

"Just dance girl! Do what feels natural, let loose!" Star exclaimed throwing up her hands.

"Let loose?" Marcia questions

She took a deep breath before jumping doing a high kick. Marcia started to twirl, flip, and punch, creating a dance that was a mix of karate and her formal dance training.

"This goes out to all you desert dimensioners out there!" Headphones Jones said causing the crowd to cheer.

Suddenly the Goblin Dog truck appears dropping off several people in the process.

"The dance floor is now completely packed," Marcia said

"Whoo! Yeah! Uh-huh!" The Crowd cheered

"How about them seabunnies?!" Headphones Jones said

The seabunnies' pirate ship appears just like the Goblin Dog truck dropping into the Bounce Lounge. Roy, the Goblin truck owner, pulls out a t-shirt cannon and starts shooting out shirts into the crowd.

"Let's hear it from the Null!" Lady Scarfs-a-Lot shouted

The former patrons of the Null appear floating just above the Bounce Lounge dancers.

"We still need more!" Marcia said

"Johnny, use your blowhole!" Star said

Johnny tilts forward and blows out of his blowhole shooting bubbles out everywhere.

"We were passing by outside and got sprayed. The Bounce Lounge is back!"

Marcia gathered more money putting it in large neat stacks. Star once again appears in front of Marcia, this time hanging upside down.

"Now?" Star asked

"We need two more parties!" Marcia said

"Two more?" Star looked around. "But that's everyone."

"Hmm," Marcia pulled out her phone. "Not everyone."

She texted something on her phone before hitting send. Not even a moment later a fiery portal opens up and out steps Tom holding a bit of money.

"Hey, Marcia what-"

"You. Party. Now!" Marcia spoke taking the money while pushing Tom onto the dance floor.

"Oh uh, okay? Save me a danc-!" Tom's voice got cut off as he was swallowed up by the dancing crowd.

"Alright now we just need one more," Marcia said

"But who-"

Star stops talking as some money falls in front of the two girls. Star and Marcia look up to see Tad.

"Tad?" The girls questioned

"Oh, hey, guys. Where's my girl?" Tad asked

Star and Marcia point towards the dance floor and Tad floats away in that direction meeting up with a dancing Kelly.

"Tad? What are you doing here?"

"Don't you remember, baby? This is the first place we ever broke up. Want to get back together?" Tad asked

Kelly's eyes go big as a smile came to her face, "Yeeeeaaaah!"

She bends down a bit and Tad plants himself on Kelly's head covering up her bald spot.

"Whoa!"

Star picked up the large sack of money carrying it over to Milly.

"Did we make enough?" Star asked

Milly picked through the money counting it. 'One, three, fifty, eleventy-thirty...Hmm. Nope. We're short 6.50."

"But I thought we had-"

"Wait!"

A fist appears in the sea of people holding a wad of cash. The person holding the money is lifted up and over the crowd revealing Marcia. Her body moves through the masses of people and when she breaks through its shown that she was riding on Tom's shoulders. Tom carries her over to the sack and Marcia tosses the money in.

"Oh-ho-ho! I've never had more fun in my entire life!" Marcia cheered, throwing her arms up. "Wooo-oooh!" She leaned back a bit too far almost toppling herself and Tom over.

"Gotcha Marcia!" Tom said catching his footing holding on tighter to Marcia's legs.

"Whoooo were good!" Marcia cheered when she and Tom straightened out.

"Yes! We did it! The Bounce Lounge lives forever! Now let's party!" Star cheered jumping in the air giving Marcia a high five.

"Star, wait," Milly said

Star's happy cheering stops and she falls to the floor landing on her butt.

"Thank you, all of you, for what you've done. But I've been partying for over 5,000 years."

Milly removed her sunglasses and moved away her fan to reveal her full face. It was full of wrinkles and she had bags upon bags underneath her eyes. The poor woman looked tired and defeated, worn out from all the constant partying over the years.

The reveal of her face caused the crowd to pause in their dancing, gasping at Milly's reveal.

"It was never about the mortgage." Milly's floating lounge chair transformed into a motor scooter. "I'm closing the lounge because I just really need to stop partying. Like, right now."

"Aww! If this is the last night of the Bounce Lounge, let's make it the best night ever!" Pony Head said

The Crowd cheered along with Pony Head.

"No! The party is over." Milly asserted

The disco ball in the room stops spinning then lowers turning into a wrecking ball. No one had any time to react as the wrecking ball started to demolish the Bounce Lounge. Patrons went into a panic, screaming and running away trying to get out of the way of the destruction.

"But we saved the Lounge," Star cried

"Nothing lasts forever, princess. But thank you for the party," Milly said

She put her sunglasses on and rides off on her scooter into the clouds.

A dimensional portal opens up in Star's bedroom and out steps Star, Pony Head, the Bounce Crew, Marcia, and Tom.

Star sighed, "The Bounce Lounge is gone."

Johnny let out a low sad series of clicks.

Star held up a piece of chewed-up gum. "At least I have you, piece of gum I scraped off a table, to remember it by." She said before kissing it.

"Yeah. I got a chip off the dance floor." Marcia held up her chip but the squinted looking at it. "Or someone's tooth."

"Aww, you guys are lucky. All I got is-"

Pony Head swung around revealing the Bounce Lounge's photo booth.

"-this photo booth!"

"Photo booth! Photo booth!" Kelly cheered

Everyone joins in her cheering before piling into the photo booth. They jam into the booth taking a group photo with "Bounce Crew" printed on the bottom.
