Silence settled in the room as they just stared at the now empty space. Slowly they started leaving the room one by one. Draco let Neville pull him with him and they walked aimlessly until they reached the Great Hall. Most of the people were gone. The wounded had been taken to the hospital and only a couple of lost students still lingered around under guidance of some professors. They continued to the front of the castle and saw some Aurors making their way over to them. Draco's heart skipped a beat as his eyes fell on them.

"Draco Malfoy, you're to be taken into custody." Neville's grip tightened on his hand.

"Wait!" Suddenly a first year put himself between them and the Aurors. "Draco had been on our side for months now!" the kid yelped as a girl joined him in support and the blond recognised them as part of the students, he had helped in the Room of Requirement.

"Yes, we're still alive because of his training!" the girl added and the Aurors looked surprised from them to their target.

"Yes!" To his surprise Hagrid suddenly showed up. "We all saw how he went to save Mr Longbottom here! And it gave Harry the time he needed to escape, not to forget that happened after Mrs Malfoy saved Harry before that by lying to Voldemort in person!" The Aurors frowned at him.

"We'll need to take your statements. All of you," they decided after a quick glance at each other.

"Of course, let go!" he patted Neville's and Draco's shoulders. The dark blond looked to the Slytherin, who nodded to him and took a step forward. They got transported to the Ministry, where they got split up in different rooms. Draco noted the Aurors guarding his room and was certain he was being held as a follower of Voldemort. He knew this was going to take hours and guessed he wouldn't be released any time soon.

'I'm sorry Neville,' he sighed, 'I'm a coward.' Finally, an Auror entered the room and sat down before him. The dark eyes seemed to stare straight through him, making the blond stiffen.

"I'm sorry for the wait, Mr Malfoy," the man started. "I'm Auror Sulomn." Draco nodded to him in greeting. "It seems you're a difficult case," the Auror sighed and the blond kept his eyes firmly trained on him. "Your family have housed Voldemort for months," he read from the scroll in front of him. "So, you see how we find it difficult to believe your family would betray him in the end." The dark eyes moved back to his.

"We were scared," Draco whispered.

"Just like everyone else."

"But they didn't see, what we saw…" Sulomn's eyes narrowed in interest.

"Which would be?" Draco told him everything. All the tortures he had been present for, all the trainings, all the names he could remember - everything. The entire time, the Auror wrote his words down.

"Why did you change sides?"

"Because I couldn't protect my loved ones any other way, any longer," he answered honestly and the Auror took a moment to give him a piercing stare.

"What's your relationship with Neville Longbottom?"

"I love him," not a moment of hesitation. Even that got noted down.

"What happened during the Easter Holidays?" Sulomn continued and Draco went over the entire thing again. "Harry Potter's face was swollen?"

"Yes."

"Hermione Granger had the Gryffindor's sword?"

"Yes."

"Ron Weasley was also with them?"

"Yes."

"How did you know it was Harry Potter?" Draco gave him a disbelieving look.

"The scar, his two best friends, his wand – so many things gave him away." The dark eyes looked up at him again.

"Then why weren't the present Death Eaters certain of his identity?" Greyish eyes widened.

'Damn he's good.' "Because I told them I wasn't sure," he mumbled, and the feather continue writing. The interrogation continued for days, weeks even and each time he had to tell them the same story over and over again. He was so tired and could smell himself – even with the cleaning charm that had been used on him a couple of times already. He hated it. He hated that he didn't know anything. He hated not knowing anything about his family - they would have to bury his aunt – but what he hated the most was not knowing how Neville was doing. The Gryffindor definitely wasn't in the same sort of cell as he was, but out there, free.

'Why would he wait?' he wondered again. 'It's so much easier to forget me. Just put me with all the other Death Eaters.' His finger traced the fading Death Mark on his wrist and a sigh fell from his lips. His cell door suddenly opened, and he quickly stood up straight as an Auror entered his room.

"Here new clothes. Hold still so I can clean you up," the Auror stated bored and cast the cleaning charm. Draco was grateful for the clothes, but it seemed like he would have to get dressed with the Auror still in the room. He turned his back to the other man and quickly shed his dirty clothes before dressing himself in the new ones. He frowned when a scent hit his nose and he decided he was losing his mind. No way did his shirt smell like Neville.

He was led to a small courtroom and to his surprise found Neville and his grandmother sitting on one side of the room. Blue eyes widened as they took in his appearance and a frown appeared above them as they took in the Auror leading him. Draco was guided to a chair in the middle of the room, in front of the judge. The man staring down at him seemed to radiate with power.

"Draco Malfoy, you've been charged with being part of an illegal terrorist organisation and endangering lives by the use of cursed objects, but also you have defected from this organisation and have actively helped people, among which minors, against this organisation. You're also actively cooperating with our investigation." The judge looked at him and Draco agreed with him. "It's been concluded that you aren't a danger to society and will spend the time until your court hearing outside of prison. Neville Longbottom, member of the Order of the Phoenix and leader of Dumbledore's Army, has been appointed as your guardian." The judge looked up as he was done with reading the verdict and Draco just stared at him in shock.

'I'm… free?' he didn't dare to believe it and the arms surrounding him felt surreal.

"Come on," Neville whispered into his ear, "let's get out of here." Greyish eyes glanced at him before giving a nod. He couldn't believe it, but as his hands touched the other, it started to become plausible. They followed Augusta Longbottom, who was walking with her head held high, to the main hall of the Ministry, where journalists were waiting on them. Flashes were blinding Draco and he let the dark blond move him to a fireplace. There Neville told him they were going to the Leaky Cauldron. Surprised, the blond nodded as he watched Augusta disappear in green flames.

"Go on," Neville smiled and handed him some Floo powder.

"Leaky Cauldron," he stated before stepping into the flames. As he stepped out, he was more than surprised to hear cheering.

"And here he is!" Seamus yelled and surprised he took in the small group standing before him. Seamus, Luna, Hermione and the first years he had taught stood smiling before him.

"Don't think your actions went unnoticed," Neville whispered into his ear and Draco got the chills from that voice.

"We might not like everything you did, but we know that you helped us save lives," Seamus continued as explanation and the Slytherin's eyes got blurry. Furiously wiping at his eyes, didn't stop the tears rolling down his cheeks.

"Drinks are here!" Hagrid suddenly entered the room with a tray full of butterbeers. Only now did Draco realise they were in a separated room. Neville's arms wrapped around him again and pulled him against the other's chest.

"Finally, you're back in my arms," the dark blond whispered into his ear and for the first time in weeks the blond could relax.

-Epilogue-

The new world

Marvolo Remus = Harry, who went back in time

Little six-year-old Draco looked down from between the railing of the staircase at his Uncle Marvolo's and Uncle Tom's place and took in the little boy getting guided up the stairs. He knew it was Neville Longbottom, the squib – which what his parents said, but Uncle Marvolo denied it. He didn't know who to believe, but he would find out today. He had made it his mission of the day.

"This is the playroom," his Uncle Marvolo said as they walked past him to the room behind him. Neville stared at him as he stepped past him together with his parents.

"That little rascal's Draco," his uncle introduced him before going over the other children present. "The Weasley twins, Fred and George, their little brother Ron, Pansy Parkinson, Vincent Crabbe, Gregory Goyle and Harry Potter," Marvolo smiled at the last one he named, and Draco glared at the boy. His uncles' favourite. He didn't understand what was so special about that boy, but both his Uncle Marvolo and his Uncle Tom seemed to worship the ground Harry walked on. Luckily his uncle Severus didn't share their excitement. His greyish eyes followed Harry as he got up and invited Neville to play with him. The shy boy just stared at the held-out hand and Draco saw his opportunity. As quickly as his feet could, he ran towards them and took hold of the hand, which was slowly rising to accept the other's.

"He'll play with me!" he stated and both boys looked surprised at him, but he didn't wait and pulled Neville with him back to the railing. He could feel his Uncle Marvolo's eyes on him but ignored him. "We'll play with the cars!" he decided. Only at his uncles could he play with those cars as his parents didn't like muggle toys. The dark blond nodded and Draco handed him a little green truck. The red sports car was his own pick. "Let's race!" he pushed the sports car as far as he could and the other followed his example.

"We'll be downstairs, Draco, Neville, stay away from the stairs!" Marvolo warned them and Draco saluted to him, which made his uncle roll his eyes at him. Racing a couple of times, Draco watched the other boy and wondered what it would be like to life without magic.

"Do you really not have magic?" he suddenly asked as Neville went to get their cars. The shy boy's hand stopped above the truck and he straightened again without picking it up.

"I-," he mumbled unsure and the blond stepped closer to him.

"You really don't? What's that like?"

"Yeah, you're a squib!" Pansy suddenly appeared behind him and he frowned at the girl. She was accompanied by Vincent and Gregory, who were looking at Neville like he was some exotic animal.

"I-," Neville tried again, and Draco looked back at him to find him wringing his hands together nervously. The blond didn't like that habit and stepped closer to him with his hand reaching for the dark blond's wringing hands. Neville's blue eyes immediately shot up to meet his in shock and he took a step backwards. Almost like in slow-motion - like in those movies his Uncle Marvolo like to watch - Draco watched the sports car fly his way as the dark blond stepped on it, while those scared blue eyes fell backwards out of his sight.

'The stairs!' his mind was screaming while his little body flew towards the upper step. Looking over it he found Neville staring up at him, dumbfounded. 'He's flying?' Draco thought incredible as his mouth fell open.

"Neville!" Suddenly the shy boy's parents where running over to their son, together with Marvolo and Tom. "Are you all right?" Neville's mother asked him as she cradled the boy against her chest. The shy boy nodded before looking back at Draco, who was still standing on the upper step of the staircase.

"Draco! I told you to stay away from the stairs!" Marvolo yelled angry at the blond, who shrunk in on himself a little.

"I'm sorry," he mumbled just loudly enough for them to hear him, before he swiftly pointed at Neville, "but he's not a squib! He used magic!" he yelped, and the four adults felt silence. Next, the Longbottoms were praising their son like no other. Uncle Marvolo still gave Draco a warning glare, which the boy ignored. Instead he looked at Neville with a tiny smile on his face and those blue eyes looked back at him with a happy shine in them. It made him feel accomplished. Pansy annoyingly huffed beside him.

"He's lucky," Harry mumbled while Ron was nodding wildly beside him.

'Neville needs to be protected from them,' Draco's mind suddenly decided. 'I'll protect him!' he thought without a second thought.

-DNDN-

"I'm late!" Neville huffed as he ran through a corridor of Hogwarts. His class was going to start soon, and he wasn't going to make it. Looking down at the plant he was holding, he knew he had made the right choice, even if it would cost him House points. His luck couldn't have been greater when he had found this unique plant. It's flower only blooms every seven years and the seeds were lightweights that once it bloomed, they would be blown away by the wind almost immediately. It had just started to open up, so he knew he only had a couple of minutes to get it to the Greenhouse.

'Professor Sprout's going to love this!' His mind made up, he accelerated a little and got a heart attack when a hard kick was felt against his shin. He fell down hard on top of the plant and knew it was most likely damaged beyond repair. Quickly getting up he saw all the seeds spread in front of him and the loud laughter behind him made him turn around in anger.

"Squib, squib, you shouldn't run in the hallway," Pansy spat at him with an uncomfortable Vincent beside her.

"Pansy," the boy mumbled while glancing backwards. The girl gave her friend an annoyed look before striding towards the Gryffindor boy.

"You look so comfy on the floor. It's where dirt like you belongs anyway," she sneered and was ready to spat the next filth coming out of her mouth when suddenly her mouth was gone. In panic she turned around and her eyes widened. Neville followed her line of vision and found his childhood friend staring at them with blazing eyes.

"Draco," he mumbled almost in disbelieve. The Slytherin hadn't talked to him in the last two years.

"I believe I've made myself clear, didn't I, Pansy?" the blond spat, and the girl fiercely nodded at him. "Get her out of here!" he ordered Vincent and Gregory.

'Gregory must have arrived with Draco,' Neville thought as he slowly got up while watching the two friends force the girl away with them.

"She'll leave you alone in the future. Don't worry," Draco said in a gentler voice and the Gryffindor looked surprised at him.

'He sounds just like he used too…' Neville couldn't deny that he missed his childhood friend. They had been so close, going everywhere together, which all started to change once they got to Hogwarts. They got sorted into different Houses and sadly enough the two Houses that got along the least. At first, they hadn't cared about the rivalry, but as the years passed, they talked less and less, until they didn't talk anymore. 'It must have been two years… since the last day of our third year,' Neville sadly thought as the stared at the other, who was looking at his plant.

"Is it ruined?" Draco asked carefully as his greyish eyes met his. They stared at each other for a moment, before the blond looked away again.

"The seeds," Neville suddenly yelped and the other looked at him again. "We can still save the seeds," he continued in a lower tone and the Slytherin nodded. In silence they gathered them, and Neville felt electricity when their hands met. Draco didn't seem to feel the same spark as he continued to drop the seeds in his hand.

"That's the last of them," the Slytherin said before taking hold of his free hand. The electricity ran through the Gryffindor again and he forced himself to ignore the warmth spreading from the spot Draco was touching him. "Treat those scratches once you get back to your dorm," the blond stated, and Neville looked surprised at his hands.

'I got scratched?' he thought dumbfounded. He hadn't even noticed, but now he did start to feel them. "I've got class," he mumbled instead, and those greyish eyes narrowed at him.

"You'll never change, will you?" Draco shook his head in disbelieve and suddenly his free arm was around the Gryffindor's shoulders. "I'll take you to the hospital wing," he decided and started to guide the other. Once inside Madame Pomfrey gave his hands a quick look over, before shaking her head and pushing a cream in Draco's hands.

"That should do the trick," she stated before moving back to a student with a broken leg.

"Sit down," Draco said as he grabbed an empty bottle and held it out to him. "For the seeds," he explained, and Neville quickly transferred them. Next to his surprise, the blond had found a wet rag and started cleaning the scratches on his hands. "I thought you would be able to take care of yourself by now," Draco joked and the other could only stare at him.

"I guess I still need you," he eventually said just above a whisper and greyish eyes met his in surprise. A blush crawled on Neville's cheeks and he quickly looked away, wondering where he had found the courage to say that. Fingers suddenly ghosting over his cheek, made him look at the other again.

"You really haven't changed, have you?" Draco said with a small smile while his head leaned towards him. Neville's heartbeat accelerated dangerously fast and he was more than glad when the blond returned his attention back to the scratches on his hands.

'What the hell?! What was that?!' he berated his heart. He was still berating it during dinner, when Draco suddenly joined him at the Gryffindor's table. Everyone was staring at them, while he could only stare in shock at the Slytherin.

"You can't eat without pain, can you!" it was a statement, not a question. Neville could only shake his head and the blond smiled triumphantly at him. "You really do still need me," he whispered while leaning forward again and the dark blond's cheeks were red in an instance.

-DNDN-

Neville could only wonder how they had gotten to this and pulled Draco even closer as their lips moved against each other. He knew alcohol had been a major factor, but he couldn't deny he had been wanting to do this for months now. Ever since they had reconnected a year ago, the tensing between them had been building up to this moment. Draco took a moment to breath before claiming his lips again and he moaned in pleasure. Eventually they did break the kiss and the party-sounds from next door caught up to them again.

"Nev," the blond mumbled while hugging the other close again and going in for another kiss.

"Draco?" Blaise's voice pulled them out of their little world. Surprised Draco turned his head around and Zabini's eyes widened as he recognised Neville. The surprise quickly changed into a huge smirk. "Took you guys long enough!" he teased, and Draco rolled his eyes at him before turning back to Neville. It didn't go unnoticed by the dark blond that the blond hadn't released his hold on him. "Aish, I can tell when I'm unwanted!" Blaise continued his teasing before loudly laughing while leaving.

"Now, where were we?" Draco asked with a glint in his eyes and Neville chuckled before claiming his lips again.

-DNDN-

Neville took a sip from his drink as it was the only thing left from his breakfast and noted Seamus narrowing his eyes at something behind him.

"Pansy's coming over," the Irish lad warned him, and he turned his head to see her practically skipping towards them with a copy of the Daily Prophet in her hands. She stopped before him with a huge smile on her face.

"Checkmate!" she announced while laying the paper open before him. The huge title of 'Draco Malfoy and Pansy Parkinson are engaged!' stared right back at him. His eyes widened as his heart dropped. "Don't be a bad loser, Squib!" the girl cackled before skipping away again.

"Mate," Seamus started as he had leaned over the table to be able to also read the Daily Prophet.

"Don't!" Neville hissed with tears blurring his eyes. Slowly, he got up and his eyes moved over the Slytherin table, but he knew he wasn't going to see a familiar blond head. Ignoring all the eyes on him, he walked out of the Great Hall.

-DNDN-

"Euh, Draco," Gregory said from the desk behind the blond.

"What?" Draco questioned as he turned around and found his friend holding a crumbled page of the Daily Prophet. Goyle simply turned the page he was holding and let the other read the article that had gotten his attention. Greyish eyes widened in horror as he read about his own engagement and immediately got up.

'If Neville sees that!' his mind was in full blown panic mode. Rushing passed Professor Snape - who snapped at him – he ran towards the Great Hall. He knew Neville's class started later than his, so maybe he would still be there. Bursting through the door, everyone looked at him, but he only had eyes for the Gryffindor table, where he found Seamus shaking his head at him in disappointment.

'He would go to his plants!' Draco's mind supplied him, and his feet moved on their own. To his luck, only halfway to his destination, he saw the familiar back. "Neville!" he yelled and the other stopped. Once in reach he grabbed the other's shoulder to turn him around, but the Gryffindor brushed him off.

"How long have you known!" Angry teary blue eyes turned to him and he knew his answer wasn't going to be liked.

"About… a month…" Those eyes looked at him in disbelieve.

"A month?!" Neville seemed to be gasping for air. "And you didn't think to mention this once?" he raged as Draco saw Vincent and Gregory joining them from the side. 'How did they get out of class?'

"You can't do anything alone, can you?" the Gryffindor continued in disbelieve as he also noted the other two Slytherins.

"No-."

"Forget it," the dark blond finally broke down, "last year was all a waste of time, wasn't it?" Those words pierced straight through Draco's heart.

"No!" he shouted as the Gryffindor turned away from them and walked onto the courtyard. "Stop! Let me explain! My parents did this! I didn't give any consent!" he was screaming everything coming to mind while running after the other. "Stop!" he was getting angry at the other's disobedience. "Stop! Or I'll make you stop!" he screamed delusional and pointed his wand at the other. It worked. Neville did stop, but the look of betrayal he gave him when he turned around penetrated deep into his soul. Draco's armed hand started shaking. "Nev…" he tried again while walking close to him, and the dark blond clenched his fists.

"No!" Neville said before suddenly turning around and calmly stepped away from him. Despair filled Draco's entire being and his eyes fell to the ground, trying to find a way out.

'There must be something!' his mind screamed at him.

"Harry!" Neville suddenly called out stunned and something snapped inside Draco. His free hand grabbed hold of the dark blond's arm, stopping him successfully.

"Marry me!" the blond's voice sounded hoarse.

"You… don't mean that," the dark blond mumbled without turning to him.

"I do!" Draco said loud as his grip tightened. This was his last plea. If this didn't work, he would lose him for good. Slowly, Neville turned to him with an unreadable expression on his face.

"We're in public!" the Gryffindor hissed to his surprise while nodding over his own shoulder and with a frown the blond looked up to meet his Uncle Tom's eyes. Draco could feel the blood draining from his face as he also took in his Uncle Marvolo standing beside Harry. They were certainly telling his parents. His grip lost a little of its strength, but he forced himself to not release the dark blond.

"You don't mean that!" Neville repeated almost pleadingly this time.

'No!' Draco's mind screamed. 'I'm not losing him!' Glancing from the Gryffindor to his Uncle Tom and back, the blond made up his mind. Draco's hand slipped from Neville's arm to his hand and he knelt down with purpose. Blue eyes widened at him as the realisation came of what he was doing.

"Neville Longbottom, will you marry me?" Draco breathed heavily.

"Draco, no!" Pansy suddenly yelled from behind him and the blond cringed into himself.

'Why is she here?!'

"Pansy, it was a mistake!" he hissed angry not taking his eyes off the Gryffindor before him.

"Your parents won't allow it!" the girl continued.

"I don't care." Knowing he meant those words, felt so releasing.

"The Dark Lord won't allow it!" Pansy yelled desperately and Draco held his breath.

"What won't I allow, Ms Parkinson?" his Uncle Tom asked, and the girl squeaked.

"My Lord, I didn't mean..., but you can't agree with this?!"

"Why not?" his Uncle Marvolo asked with narrowed eyes.

'Uncle Marvolo has always been on our side, hasn't he?' Draco dared to breathe again.

"His parents like me!"

"Then marry them," Tom dismissed her with a hand gesture and turned his attention back to the couple.

"But...!"

"Be quiet!" the politician suddenly roared, and Draco clenched Neville's hand. "I'm waiting for Mr Longbottom's response." Neville looked a little unsure at the three people behind him, but Harry nodded at him with a smile. With a small smile, the dark blond turned back to the blond, who was still waiting eagerly for his answer. Their eyes met and Draco's heartbeat accelerated rapidly.

"I..." Neville started before he shook his head and brightly smiled while staring back into the greyish eyes. "Yes." Draco's world stopped for a moment before he was grabbing the dark blond's face and kissing him with all the passion he possessed. Next his Uncle Marvolo was hugging them close while Uncle Tom kept it at a handshake.

"My parents won't approve," Draco confessed to his uncle, and Neville looked a little uncertain at his fiance.

"I'll deal with them," Tom smirked as Harry hugged his friend.

"Congratulations!" Harry was already shaking Draco's hand before the Slytherin could process it.

"How come your back, Harry?" Neville suddenly asked confused and his fiance actually wondered where the hell the other Gryffindor had been. Having the urge to touch what was his, Draco wrapped his arm around Neville's waist and took a moment to enjoy the feeling.

"Ah, we'll explain everything in an hour in the Room of Requirement," Marvolo answered instead while looking hopeful at the newly engaged couple.

"We'll be there," Neville assured him, and the three went on their way again.

"He's still their favourite, isn't he?" Draco sighed as he watched them go. There was no malice to his words and Neville suddenly smirked at him. "What do you know?" Greyish eyes teasingly narrowed at him.

"Congratulations, Draco, Neville," Vincent interrupted them, and Draco remembered they weren't alone. He turned to his friends with a big smile on his face. He could see Pansy disappearing into the castle again and felt relieved.

"Thank you," Neville smiled at his friends, who honestly looked happy for them. "Now if you would excuse us," the dark blond continued and started pulling Draco with him. Howling sounds followed them, but the only thing the blond could see was that teasing smile on his fiance's lips. Neville pulled him in an empty classroom and pushed him against the door before claiming his lips. Things quickly heated up and Draco could feel himself getting hard. The Gryffindor chuckled against his lips when he felt the other's throbbing length.

"Getting a little needy?" he teased while pressing his hand on the stiffening penis. The blond could only moan out loudly, making the other chuckle even more. Draco's attempts to calm down again, went completely down the drain when Neville's fingers touched the naked skin inside his trousers. He lost it and it didn't take long for him to come. "Wow," the Gryffindor said surprised before chuckling again and greyish eyes glared at him playfully.

"You really know how to push my buttons, don't you?" Draco said hoarsely and the other smiled proudly. Taking that as a challenge, the blond dropped to his knees and released the other's penis from his pants.

"Dra-co!" Neville panted as the blond worked him with his mouth. Knowing the other's favourite spots, it didn't take long for the dark blond to reach his edge and come hard in the other's mouth.

"Damn, Draco," Neville panted as he heavily leaned over the other against the door frame while the blond cleaned them up before dressing him. Next Draco pulled him also down to the ground and cuddled him into his arms. They stayed like that for a couple of minutes, until the blond suddenly looked him in the eyes with a serious expression.

"Now, what am I missing about my uncles and Harry?" Neville just started laughing aloud.

"You really know how to break our moment, don't you? But okay, you should know, before we meet them in the Room of Requirement," he said mysteriously, and greyish eyes playfully narrowed at him. "Harry hasn't gone to study in America," the dark blond started. "Instead… he's been living in the past." The blond blinked at him in surprise.

"In the past?" Neville nodded. "What?!"

"Well, apparently we live in the 'fixed' future. In the 'old' one, your Uncle Tom went completely insane because he didn't know love and started a war. You remember Harry's scar?" the dark blond continued while pointing at his forehead and Draco carefully nodded.

"He got that from your Uncle Tom, it links them together, somehow," Neville tried his best to explain. "They didn't really explain how," he apologised.

"Wait, you're telling me that Harry went back into the future to learn Uncle Tom how to love?" the blond said sceptically and the other nodded. "Then where was Uncle Marvolo in this old future?" he scuffed, and Neville brightly smiled at him.

"In our time," he stated matter of fact and Draco just blinked at him while his mind added everything up.

"Wait! You're telling me my Uncle Marvolo's Harry?!" Neville fiercely nodded and every moment he had spent with his uncles together with Harry resurfaced. "That… sounds crazy…" the dark blond nodded at him, "but it would explain so much," he admitted. "Uncle Marvolo was just giving himself the childhood he never had – since he apparently grew up in the middle of a war – and Uncle Tom knows Harry's the man he loves," he said stunned and Neville kept nodded beside him. It was hard to believe, but somehow, he did. "How long have you known?"

"About a week, they wanted to tell us before Harry returned," the Gryffindor shrugged.

"Man, that's crazy," Draco kept repeating, but it somehow also made him feel better. Now he knew the reason his uncles had always preferred the little Potter when they were little. Even if they tried to hide it, which they always failed in the heat of the moment.

"Oh, we have to get to the Room of Requirement!" Neville suddenly yelped and struggled out of the other's hold while getting up.

"Oh, we've just gotten engaged. I'm sure they know what we've been doing," Draco said boringly, and he loved the redness suddenly colouring his fiance's cheeks.

"Draco!"

The end
