Night of Champions was live at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. The first televised match was a tag team match for the WWE Tag Team Championship, in which the champions, John Morrison and The Miz defended the title against Finlay and Hornswoggle. The match began with Finlay in the ring as he crotched Morrison on the ring apron. Back in the ring, Morrison performed a dropkick on Finlay. Throughout the match, the Miz and Morrison were in control.

Hornswoggle was tagged in the match, which led to him to execute a hurricanrana, stunner and run up from behind the Miz, grabbed his head with one hand and leaped forward to drive Miz's face into the mat. Back and forth action took place between both teams. The match concluded with Finlay performing the Celtic Cross on Morrison, but the Miz knocked Finlay out of the ring, before he could pin Morrison. Morrison then gained consciousness. He then pushed Hornswoggle off the top ropes and slammed him into the ring mat to gain the win and retain the tag title.

The next match was for the WWE United States Championship, in which Matt Hardy defended the title in a Triple Threat match against the Jackal, and Chavo Guerrero accompanied with Bam Neely. Jackal dominated most of the match and worked on Hardy's left knee. Neely, who was at ringside, did as well, as he grabbed Hardy's leg around the ring post at ringside, since there was no DQs in a Triple Threat match.

Guerrero tried to perform a Frog splash, but Jackal shoved him off the turnbuckle and through a table he set up outside the ring . The match came to an end when Jackal hit the Spear to score the pin and become the United States Champion for a 4th time.

The third match was a Triple Threat match for the ECW Championship, in which Kane defended the title against The Big Show and Mark Henry. The match began with The Big Show and Kane double teaming Henry and focusing on one another. The Big Show tossed Kane over the top rope. That incident saw Trainers and Emergency medical technicians (EMTs) attend to Kane at ringside. In the ring, the Big Show was able to get the upper hand over Henry. Kane returned to the match, which saw him perform a flying clothesline on Henry and executed an uppercut on the Big Show.

That proceeded with Kane going back and forth splashing Henry and Big Show in the corner before being caught in a bear hug hold by Henry. Kane managed to get out of the hold, which led to both Kane and the Big Show to double chokeslam into the mat. Afterwards, Kane performed a superplex on the Big Show off the top rope, but Henry performed a splash. Henry covered Kane for the pinfall victory and thus becoming the new ECW champion.

The match that followed was for the World Tag Team Championship, in which champions Hardcore Holly and Cody Rhodes defended the title against Ted DiBiase and a mystery partner. Before the match got underway, DiBiase grabbed the microphone and said his partner had text messaged him saying that he was running late. DiBiase said he would take Holly and Rhodes in a two-on-one match. The bell rang and the match began with Rhodes and DiBiase in the ring. DiBiase, however, said that he wanted to face Holly in the match. Holly came into the match, but was immediately attacked by Rhodes. This incident saw Rhodes betray Holly and becoming a villain in the process. DiBiase took the microphone and introduced Rhodes as his tag team partner. The match came to an end when DiBiase placed Holly in a cobra clutch hold, a move DiBiase calls the Million Dollar Dream, slamming his head to the mat. DiBiase covered Holly to get the win and thus become World Tag Team champion with Rhodes.[22][26]

The next match was for the WWE Intercontinental Championship, in which Chris Jericho defended the title in a Triple Threat match against Kofi Kingston and Bloodwolf. In the beginning of the match, Kingston gained the upper hand over Jericho and Bloodwolf, as he performed a body-block. Kingston followed this by leaping onto Jericho on the top ring corner.

Though, Jericho shoved him to the ring floor. Back in the ring, Jericho followed his assaults by applying an abdominal stretch submission hold, but Bloodwolf escaped the hold. Back and forth action took place between the three competitors. Jericho got Kingston in the Walls of Jericho,. As Jericho had the hold locked on, Shawn Michaels ran through the crowd and performed Sweet Chin Music on Lance Cade, who was at ringside.

As Jericho witnessed the events, he released the submission hold and tackled Michaels off the ring apron. Kingston took the advantage as he performed a jump kick, a move Kingston calls Trouble in Paradise, but Bloodwolf lifted Kingston onto his shoulders and hit a Fireman's Carry Cutter to score the win and become Intercontinental Champion for a 3rd time.

The sixth match was a singles match, in which WWE Women's Champion Mickie James defended the title against Katie Lea Burchill accompanied with Paul Burchill. The beginning of the match saw back and forth action between both females. Lea controlled the match, after she threw James shoulder-first into the middle turnbuckle and worked on James' shoulder. Throughout the match, James began to take the advantage over Lea, but was not in successful in doing so. The match concluded when James performed the Mickie DT on Lea, thus winning the match and retaining her title.

And now the next match was for the World Heavyweight Championship.

In the arena, Batista's theme hits and out comes the Animal who was looking to become World Heavyweight Champion once again. He walls down the ramp and enters the ring, posing and doing the title gesture before getting down.

OOOOOOWHOOOOOO!

Kick Ass plays and out comes the former World Heavyweight Champion who looks to get his hands on Edge once again. Bladewolf walksdown the ramp by himself and enters the ring, taking off his jacket as he stares Batista down before his theme dies down.

Edge's theme hits to boos and outcomes the World Heavyweight Champion by himself. Edge makes his way down the ramp and slides into the ring, posing with the World Heavyweight Championship. While Batista was glaring at his opponents, Bladewolf has not moved nor taken his eyes off Edge.

Edge's theme dies down and announcements began. "The following contest is a Triple Threat match for the World Heavyweight Championship!" The crowd cheered. "Introducing the challengers, first, from Washington D.C, weighing 290lbs...THE ANIMAL BATISTA!" Batista yells and tells Edge the title was his.

"From Death Valley, weighing 275lbs...THE BLADEWOLF!" Bladewolf didn't even move as the fans popped for him, his eyes hadn't left Edge. "And from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, he is the World Heavyweight Champion, the Rated-R Superstar... EDGE!" Edge raises the World Heavyweight Championship before handing it to the referee who shows it off then gives it to someone at ringside before calling for the bell.

'Ding! Ding! Ding!'

Edge immediately left the ring but Bladewolf and Batista were on him and dragged him back to the ring before sliding in themselves. Edge fought back with right hands to Bladewolf and Batista's skulls but Batista clotheslines Edge, then Bladewolf takes Batista down with a clothesline of his own. Bladewolf grabs Edge and hits a German Suplex, then another, then another, then another, then another, then another, then another, and then another. This one sent Edge rolling out of the ring, leaving Bladewolf and Batista to themselves.

Bladewolf and Batista circled one another before locking up in a test of strength, trying to overpower the other but neither were giving in so Bladewolf drove his right fist into Batista's gut then delivered a headbutt to Batista before driving him into the corner where he delivers a few shoulder thrusts to the gut but Batista brings a elbow down onto Bladewolf's back, causing the former World Heavyweight Champion to go to a knee before Batista drove his knee into the side of Bladewolf's head, sending him to the mat.

Batista delivered a few stomps to Bladewolf's chest before picking him up and sends him out of the ring but Bladewolf stands on his feet and glares at Batista who tells him to bring it. Bladewolf rolls back into the ring and tackles Batista onto the mat and hammers him with right hands before Batista rolls them over and delivers a few right hands to Bladewolf but the referee gets involved and Batista gets to his feet before grabbing Bladewolf and Irish whips him into the corner, looking for a turnbuckle clothesline but Bladewolf lifts his legs in time to boot Batista in the face.

Batista throws Bladewolf into the corner again and attacks Bladewolf who covers up. Batista rebounds Bladewolf off the ropes but Bladewolf comes back with a hard clothesline that sounded like two trains colliding. Both men were down now.

Bladewolf and Batista are able to make it to their feet but Batista runs and takes Bladewolf down with a lariat, getting a near fall as a result. Batista stomps on Bladewolf's chest before delivering a few elbows to the stomach. Batista Irish whips Bladewolf into the corner before lifting him onto the top turnbuckle... AND LAUNCHES HIM ACROSS THE RING!

Edge grabs Batista and sends him...SHOULDER FIRST INTO THE STEEL RING POST! Batista falls out of the ring as edge turns to Bladewolf... WHO SITS UP! Edge backs off in surprise as Bladewolf gets to his feet. Edge was immediately on the attack, laying in some right hands but the 6-time World Champion pushed Edge into a corner before delivering a big boot to the skull, Edge rebounds off the rope and hits a headbutt that makes Bladewolf stumble back.

They shale off the cobwebs and glare at each other. Bladewolf and Edge circle done another before locking up and going for a battle of strength. They broke the hold and backed off a bit before locking up again, this time Bladewolf pushing Edge into the corner where he delivers hard rights to Edge's stomach and ribcage. Edge drives his knee into Bladewolf's gut and the former WWE Champion backs off as the World Heavyweight Champion runs at him before taking him down with a clothesline and hooks the leg again but Bladewolf kicks out at two.

Edge gets to a knee and viciously attacks Bladewolf's skull with hard rights before he unloads with lefts and rights to the skull, causing Bladewolf to cover up. Edge soon backs off when the referee warned him, allowing Bladewolf some breathing room. Edge grabs Bladewolf from behind and drives his back into Edge's knee for a backbreaker. Edge goes for the cover again but Bladewolf kicks out at two. Edge hunts before he gets to his feet and stomps away on the former WWE Champion.

Edge heads up to the top rope then jumps off for an elbow drop...BUT BLADEWOLF MOVES OUT OF THE WAY! Edge holds his elbow in pain and quickly rolls out of the ring. The Rated-R Superstar trying to find an opportunity here as he was the Ultimate Opportunist. Bladewolf exits the ring and grabs Edge before tossing him into steel steps. Bladewolf grabs Edge's hair before bouncing Edge's skull off the steps and does this repeatedly and furiously before backing off as Edge falls onto his back.

Once he does, Edge runs as he turns around... AND HITS THE SPEAR! EDGE HOOKS THE LEGS! ONE! TWO! THRE-! BLADEWOLF KICKS OUT AGAIN!

Edge couldn't believe it. Edge slaps the mat with a yell. Edge gets to his feet and picks Bladewolf up, but Bladewolf suddenly pushes Edge's arms away, kicks him in the gut and grabs his head...BEFORE HITTING AN DDT! Bladewolf hooks the legs! ONE! TWO! THRE-! EDGE KICKS OUT!

BUT A HAND GRABS HIS THROAT! Bladewolf gets to his feet while holding Edge by the throat before lifting Edge up...AND PLANTS HIM WITH A CHOKESLAM!

Bladewolf rolls onto his back as Batista slides in and immediately grabs Edge, hooking him up for a Batista Bomb...AND HE HITS IT! HE GOES FOR THE COVER! ONE! TWO! THRE-! BLADEWOLF BREAKS IT UP!

Suddenly Hawkins and Ryder come running down to boos from the fans, they slide into the ring...BUT BLADEWOLF AND BATISTA HIT DOUBLE SPEARS! Bladewolf rolls out of the ring as Edge and Batista fight it out, Bladewolf made sure nobody can see him as Edge has his buddies help him.

'Ding! Ding! Ding!'

Kick Ass plays as Bladewolf rolls out of the ring when La Familia come back in. "Here is your winner and the NEW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION!... THE BLADEWOLF!" For the 3rd time, the Bladewolf has become World Heavyweight Champion.

Bladewolf makes it to the stage where Jackal, Bloodwolf, and Maria walk out. Jackal and Bloodwolf had their titles and the Wolfpack raises their three titles and Maria hugs her boyfriend. La Familia glares at them from ringside.

Bio: At a young age, George watched WWE and dreamed of being a WWE Superstar. So he trained on the streets, occasionally getting into fights with those that mocked him and did sometimes get beat up in this weights but that's one of the reasons he trained for wrestling. When he 18 was years old, he began wrestling in independent events at places like school gyms, his performance soon earning the attention of WWE when they sent a talent scouter out and they noticed him.

In October 1997, Vince McMahon himself paid George a visit and offered him a job, just a month off from the young man's 18th birthday. George immediately agreed and would make his debut the following week on Monday Night RAW. Vince wanted George's character to be a lost, younger brother of the Undertaker and Kane, an idea George agreed to.

George became the youngest WWE Champion in history when he defeated Shawn Michaels and Stone Cold Steve Austin at WrestleMania 14, winning the title at only 18 years old. He also has an undefeated streak of his own.

George has defeated many superstars over the years, Undertaker, Kane, Stone Cold, Triple H, The Rock, Big Show, Hulk Hogan, Booker T, Brock Lesnar, Shane McMahon, Kevin Nash, among many others he's faced. He's won matches and he's lost matches. He is a 6-time Intercontinental Champion, an 8-time World Tag Team Champion, a 3-time WWE Tag Team Champion, a 2-time United States Champion, a 3-time WWE Champion, and a 1-time World Heavyweight Champion.

In 2005, before WrestleMania 21, Bladewolf was attacked by Randy Orton, who was facing Undertaker at WrestleMania, and left him with an injury that put Bladewolf out of action for 10 months. He returned at the 2006 Royal Rumble and won the match. He faced Randy Orton at No Way Out inside a Hell in a Cell match, which he won. Bladewolf would go on to win the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 22 for the first time in his career and go 9-0 at WrestleMania. However, Bladewolf's leg injury forced him to vacate the title and take two months off.

He returned in June on Monday Night RAW, and began a rivalry with Rob Conway that involves Maria, who he began an off screen relationship with which went on screen after Bladewolf's rivalry with Conway ended. After this, h reformed Wolfpack with Jackal and Bladewolf scored his 9th World Tag Team Championship reign. Bladewolf also won the WWE Intercontinental Championship for a 7th time but this caused Jackal to turn on him, turning Heel.

The two had a Hell in a Cell match at SummerSlam, which Jackal won and ended Bladewolf's reign at 27 days. Bladewolf returned to WWE at Cyber Sunday as a mystery opponent in Jackal's title match against Jeff Hardy. Bladewolf ended up winning the match to become an 8-time Intercontinental Champion. After this, Jackal went to ECW while Bladewolf went on to loose his title two weeks later to Jeff Hardy thanks to Big Show and Umaga.

Bladewolf became a member of John Cena's survivor Series team and got the team the victory but Bladewolf had s condition with joining Cena's team and that was a WWE Championship match the next night on RAW. Bladewolf won the match and became a 4-time WWE Champion. Bladewolf went on to defeat John Cena at Armageddon and the 2007 Royal Rumble, became World Tag Team Champions with Shawn Michaels, defeated Batista & Undertaker at No Way Out in a tag team match with Shawn Michaels, defeated Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania 23 to go 10-0, the next night Bladewolf turned Heel for the first time in his career. He reunited the Wolfpack and they dominated Monday Night RAW.

Bladewolf went on to hold the WWE Championship for 304 days, defeating all challengers at Backlash, Vengeance, The Great American Bash, SummerSlam, and Unforgiven. He turned Face at the Great American Bash after shaking Bobby Lashley's hand. He was stripped of the WWE Championship after suffering an injury at the hands of Randy Orton.

He returned at Survivor Series as part of Triple H's team, replacing Matt Hardy. He then returned full time after defeating Jeff Hardy on the 15th anniversary of RAW, winning his 9th Intercontinental Championship. Bladewolf failed to win the 2008 Royal Rumble, and an Elimination Chamber match at No Way Out, but qualified for the Money in the Bank match, which he won to go 11-0 at WrestleMania. For the RAW and SmackDown after WrestleMania, he made sure to Scout the Champions.

On the 14th of April episode of RAW, Bladewolf lost the Intercontinental Championship to Chris Jericho, ending his reign at 126 days. At Backlash, Bladewolf cashed his briefcase in on Undertaker's World Heavyweight Championship, successfully winning and winning his 2nd World Heavyweight Title reign. Because of this, Bladewolf became a SmackDown superstar and issued a rematch the Friday after Backlash. Bladewolf issued a rematch at Judgement Day, which the Undertaker accepted.

At Judgement Day, the natch ended in a No Contest thanks to Edge interfering. At One Night Stand, Bladewolf faced the Undertaker for the title again with the stipulation that if Undertaker lost then he will be forced to leave the WWE. Bladewolf won but Vickie Guerrero had him compete again against Edge. Too exhausted to fight, Bladewolf lost to Edge, who became the new World Heavyweight Champion.

After forcing Vickie Guerrero to give him his rematch, Bladewolf faced Edge and Batista in a Triple Threat match at Night of Championship, a match that Bladewolf won to become a 7-time World Champion and win his 3rd World Heavyweight Championship.
