8. John Cena vs Batista in a singles match.
9. The Undertaker vs Edge in a Hell in a Cell match.
The first match aired was between Jeff Hardy and Montel Vontavious Porter (MVP). Some of the highlights of the match included MVP delivering a belly to belly suplex to Hardy who landed hard on the turnbuckle and later, MVP kicked Hardy across the ring as the latter tried to deliver his rope-aided corner dropkick. The match involved series of counters and submission holds. Near the end, after delivering the Whisper in the Wind, when Hardy tried to execute the Swanton Bomb on MVP, Shelton Benjamin appeared, but Hardy took him out. In the ring, Hardy missed his Swanton Bomb, and MVP quickly kicked Hardy in the face and pinned him to win the match.
The second match of the evening was for the WWE Intercontinental Championship. Former Champion Bloodwolf facing off against current Champion Kofi Kingston and Santino Marella in a Triple Threat match. Bloodwolf and Kingston dominated most of the match but Kingston hit Bloodwolf with a trouble in paradise before Marella rolled Kingston up to score the win.
The next match was for the WWE Women's Championship. Mickie James was defending her title against Beth Phoenix. It was a back and fourth match between them but Phoenix won after hitting the Grand Slam and pinned James to becomes Women's Champion.
The pay-per-view continued with Shawn Michaels coming out to the ring with his wife Rebecca to announce that after consulting his doctors and his family, he had decided to, in storyline, "retire" from professional wrestling due to all the injuries he had suffered throughout his career. Chris Jericho interrupted Michaels' address, came down to the ring and asked him to say that he was quitting WWE because of what Jericho did to him. In retaliation, Michaels insulted Jericho, calling him a "vile and selfish human being", and said that he should go home and tell his family that "he (Jericho) will never ever be Shawn Michaels". As Michaels and Rebecca were about to leave the ring, Jericho stopped Michaels and attempted to punch him, but accidentally hit Rebecca in the face. Jericho left the ring, as Michaels and WWE medical trainers attended to Rebecca, who appeared to have a legitimate swollen lip.
The fourth match was between Mark Henry and Matt Hardy for the ECW Championship. Early on in the match, Hardy delivered a Twist of Fate to Henry and covered him for a pinfall attempt, but Henry's manager Tony Atlas pulled Hardy out of the ring and assaulted him. This forced the referee to call for a disqualification with Hardy as the winner of the match, but as titles don't change hands on disqualification or countout, Henry retained the ECW title. As Atlas was assaulting Matt outside, Jeff Hardy came down to his brother's aid and delivered a Swanton Bomb to Atlas from the ring apron. Later, The Hardys performed a double suplex on Henry outside the ring.
The fifth match was for the United States Championship. This rivalry began when Benjamin pinned Jackal for the title two weeks after The Great American Bash. In the match, Jackal completely destroyed Benjamin with using every weapon he can find before hitting a spear to score the win and his fifth United States Title reign.
The sixth match on the card was the featured preliminary match from the RAW brand which saw CM Punk defend the World Heavyweight Championship against John "Bradshaw" Layfield. Both men's heads collided mid-match, resulting in some bleeding from Punk. After dominating the majority of the match, JBL was defeated after a GTS (Go To Sleep) from Punk, resulting in the champion retaining the title.
And now it was time for the WWE Championship match.
OOOOOOWHOOOOOO!
Kick Ass playa to a pop from the fans and out comes the man who looks to become a 5-time WWE Champion tonight. Tonight marks Bladewolf's tenth straight appearance at SummerSlam. He has never once missed a SummerSlam and HSS more victories at the event than losses with a 8-2 record at SummerSlam.

Bladewolf counters a clothesline attempt from Triple H and connects with a big release german suplex. Triple H comes fighting back with right hands and a quick DDT on the #1 Contender for the WWE Championship. Bladewolf scoops Triple H and then drops Triple H on the same arm he had the submission hold on. On the outside, Bladewolf sends Triple H into the steel ring steps. Bladewolf then sends Triple H over the spanish announce table. Bladewolf pushes the table over, stands over the side, jumps... AND CONNECTS WITH A BIG SLEDGEHAMMER OVER THE HEAD OF TRIPLE H!

Bio: At a young age, George watched WWE and dreamed of being a WWE Superstar. So he trained on the streets, occasionally getting into fights with those that mocked him and did sometimes get beat up in this weights but that's one of the reasons he trained for wrestling. When he 18 was years old, he began wrestling in independent events at places like school gyms, his performance soon earning the attention of WWE when they sent a talent scouter out and they noticed him.
In October 1997, Vince McMahon himself paid George a visit and offered him a job, just a month off from the young man's 18th birthday. George immediately agreed and would make his debut the following week on Monday Night RAW. Vince wanted George's character to be a lost, younger brother of the Undertaker and Kane, an idea George agreed to.
George became the youngest WWE Champion in history when he defeated Shawn Michaels and Stone Cold Steve Austin at WrestleMania 14, winning the title at only 18 years old. He also has an undefeated streak of his own.
George has defeated many superstars over the years, Undertaker, Kane, Stone Cold, Triple H, The Rock, Big Show, Hulk Hogan, Booker T, Brock Lesnar, Shane McMahon, Kevin Nash, among many others he's faced. He's won matches and he's lost matches. He is a 6-time Intercontinental Champion, an 8-time World Tag Team Champion, a 3-time WWE Tag Team Champion, a 2-time United States Champion, a 3-time WWE Champion, and a 1-time World Heavyweight Champion.
In 2005, before WrestleMania 21, Bladewolf was attacked by Randy Orton, who was facing Undertaker at WrestleMania, and left him with an injury that put Bladewolf out of action for 10 months. He returned at the 2006 Royal Rumble and won the match. He faced Randy Orton at No Way Out inside a Hell in a Cell match, which he won. Bladewolf would go on to win the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 22 for the first time in his career and go 9-0 at WrestleMania. However, Bladewolf's leg injury forced him to vacate the title and take two months off.
He returned in June on Monday Night RAW, and began a rivalry with Rob Conway that involves Maria, who he began an off screen relationship with which went on screen after Bladewolf's rivalry with Conway ended. After this, h reformed Wolfpack with Jackal and Bladewolf scored his 9th World Tag Team Championship reign. Bladewolf also won the WWE Intercontinental Championship for a 7th time but this caused Jackal to turn on him, turning Heel.
The two had a Hell in a Cell match at SummerSlam, which Jackal won and ended Bladewolf's reign at 27 days. Bladewolf returned to WWE at Cyber Sunday as a mystery opponent in Jackal's title match against Jeff Hardy. Bladewolf ended up winning the match to become an 8-time Intercontinental Champion. After this, Jackal went to ECW while Bladewolf went on to loose his title two weeks later to Jeff Hardy thanks to Big Show and Umaga.
Bladewolf became a member of John Cena's survivor Series team and got the team the victory but Bladewolf had s condition with joining Cena's team and that was a WWE Championship match the next night on RAW. Bladewolf won the match and became a 4-time WWE Champion. Bladewolf went on to defeat John Cena at Armageddon and the 2007 Royal Rumble, became World Tag Team Champions with Shawn Michaels, defeated Batista & Undertaker at No Way Out in a tag team match with Shawn Michaels, defeated Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania 23 to go 10-0, the next night Bladewolf turned Heel for the first time in his career. He reunited the Wolfpack and they dominated Monday Night RAW.
Bladewolf went on to hold the WWE Championship for 304 days, defeating all challengers at Backlash, Vengeance, The Great American Bash, SummerSlam, and Unforgiven. He turned Face at the Great American Bash after shaking Bobby Lashley's hand. He was stripped of the WWE Championship after suffering an injury at the hands of Randy Orton.
He returned at Survivor Series as part of Triple H's team, replacing Matt Hardy. He then returned full time after defeating Jeff Hardy on the 15th anniversary of RAW, winning his 9th Intercontinental Championship. Bladewolf failed to win the 2008 Royal Rumble, and an Elimination Chamber match at No Way Out, but qualified for the Money in the Bank match, which he won to go 11-0 at WrestleMania. For the RAW and SmackDown after WrestleMania, he made sure to Scout the Champions.
On the 14th of April episode of RAW, Bladewolf lost the Intercontinental Championship to Chris Jericho, ending his reign at 126 days. At Backlash, Bladewolf cashed his briefcase in on Undertaker's World Heavyweight Championship, successfully winning and winning his 2nd World Heavyweight Title reign. Because of this, Bladewolf became a SmackDown superstar and issued a rematch the Friday after Backlash. Bladewolf issued a rematch at Judgement Day, which the Undertaker accepted.
At Judgement Day, the natch ended in a No Contest thanks to Edge interfering. At One Night Stand, Bladewolf faced the Undertaker for the title again with the stipulation that if Undertaker lost then he will be forced to leave the WWE. Bladewolf won but Vickie Guerrero had him compete again against Edge. Too exhausted to fight, Bladewolf lost to Edge, who became the new World Heavyweight Champion.
After forcing Vickie Guerrero to give him his rematch, Bladewolf faced Edge and Batista in a Triple Threat match at Night of Championship, a match that Bladewolf won to become a 7-time World Champion and win his 3rd World Heavyweight Championship. He lost the title the next night on RAW to CM Punk thanks to Jackal, reigniting their feud. At The Great American Bash, they battled in a First Blood match for the WWE United States Championship, which Jackal won to retain his title.
After this, Bladewolf won a Battle Royal to get a title match against Triple H at SummerSlam. At the Event, the two longtime rivals battled in a No Holds Barred match and went back and fourth but it came to an end when Bladewolf won to become a 5-time WWE Champion and a 8-time World Champion.
