"You were pretty loud, Linda." Erin mused at Sunday dinner.
Linda hung her head, then looked up, "I know I'm loud, okay? I know that! I don't need everyone to tell me that I'm loud every time you hear me, every time Danny's made an innuendo, every time you know we've had sex! Okay? Cause I know I'm loud. I know I scream. I know that. But I can't help it! If you had a man as good as Danny, or even half as good, you'd be loud, too! Okay? I know I'm loud! I don't need everyone constantly telling me I'm loud!"
Everyone looked at Linda with embarrassed and confused faces, wondering if she had registered what she said.
"I was talking about you singing in church..." Erin stated slowly.
Linda looked at the table, her face going red with the realization of what she had said. "Oh." She his her face in her hands. "Why didn't someone stop me?" She asked quietly.
"Because we were shocked that you were telling us that you're vocal during sex," Jamie stated plainly.
"My and I didn't even know you were loud," Nicky explained.
"You're forgetting that for a few months, they crashed at the old apartment. I, for one, completely knew she was loud."
"Can we change the subject, please?" Danny demanded more than asked, his ears slightly red.
"Fine."
"Thank you." Linda said quietly.
The table fell into an awkward silence, until Jack spoke up, "Do ya use any curse words?"
Sean started to laugh, along with Nicky and Jamie.
Trying her best to hold in her laughter, Erin said, "I'm surprised the neighbors haven't called the police yet."
Jack, Sean, Nicky, Jamie, And Erin laughed at that, leaving Frank, Henry, Linda, and Danny to stare at them with stern faces. That is, until Frank cracked, letting his laughter out. Henry quickly followed; eventually, Danny started laughing, too.
"What is so funny?" Linda asked, completely annoyed.
"Nothin'!" Danny laughed harder, as did the rest of the table.
"It's not f-f-fu-funny!" Linda started laughing as well, putting her embarrassed face in her hands. "Oh, gosh. Remember when Miss Stacy checked on us cause it sounded like someone was being murdered?"
Erin snorted with laughter as Danny tried to banish the tears from crying so hard.
"Or that time when Vinny and I bathed in on you cause your neighbors thought it was domestic violence?" Jamie held his side, which was sore from laughing to hard.
"Or when Wendy kicked us out in the snow in nothing but bathrobes cause we were way too loud?" Danny recalled an event that happened many, many years ago.
Once the table stopped laughing, everyone's faces were red from the amusing conversation.
"But seriously, though," Linda turned serious, "I really don't want to hear I'm loud. Only Danny can tell me. Agreed?"
The table nodded, "agreed."
There was a moment of silence before Jamie asked, "don't get me wrong, I'm not telling you you're loud; I'm asking if you'll be loud tonight?"
"If all goes well," Danny smirked before the table erupted into a fit of giggles.
