Hi everyone,

I hope you all are doing well.

I also hope if you don't mind me using this space to say thank you to everyone who is still working during the pandemic to keep the world running and everyone safe and to everyone who is volunteering to help others.

I wanted to say thank you because I'm not doing anything myself to help out and I'm not at work, but I'm very grateful to those that are. And then I thought maybe I could at least write out a thank you and then in the years to come it can remind me a little of just how brilliant people can be in a crisis. You are all inspiring, compassionate, wonderful people.

I wanted to write this today because today is Maunday Thursday. It's the day we Christians remember the Last Supper. It's the day that we remember when Jesus taught perhaps his most important lesson, to love others by serving them. He got down on his knees and cleaned his followers filthy feet.

Usually, I only focus on Jesus and his service, but today it put me in even more awe of those who are still going out and serving others and loving others, even when it puts their own lives at risk.

So, again, thank you so much for your love, compassion, courage, and service.

Take care, everyone!

Ahem...now I've thoroughly embarrassed myself...again...I mean, I could've joined in the Clap for Carers but I live alone and was already in my pyjamas...would have looked a right muppet...
