I pray everyone is staying safe!

In the Underworld, outside of the it's version of Mr. Gold's Pawnbroker and Antiquities Dealer shop, Belle walks towards the building. Inside, Rumplestiltskin is unboxing his father's pipe, examining it for a bit before putting it down right as Belle walks in.

"Belle." He greets her with a small smile.

"Now, I won't be separated from this child." Belle quickly points out. "I need your help."

"So, you accept who I am." The Dark One assumes.

"I have accepted that no one will fight for a child like its father." Belle says. "You've proven that much. But no dark magic."

"You must have known what you were letting yourself in for."

"When we were in Camelot, Merlin said that perhaps one day someone would be able to wield the power of the Dark One Dagger for good. Show me that you can be that man. Show me, and we can save our child, and we can turn the darkness into light." She pleads.

"Well, that's the thing with dark and light." Rumple begins to point out. "Depends on your point of view. In the end, you do what you can to protect those you love."

"Alright, well, I'd never resort to darkness because that's not what a hero does." Belle argues.

"In the heat of the moment, you do whatever it takes."

"You want a future with me? You have to do this my way." Belle exclaims, determined.

In the graveyard of the Underworld, Killian, Emma, Avia, and Snow are standing in front of the tombstones.

"Hades thinks he can beat us." Emma exclaims. "It's time to prove him wrong. When I burn these names from the graves, there'll be nothing keeping us here." A burst of magic then shoots from Emma's hand while Snow and Avia stand watching, but Killian turns and looks behind them.

"Then we can all go back home." Avia adds.

The wind begins to pick up, howling vigorously. "Wait." Killian says, stopping Emma. "Something's wrong."

"What is it?" Emma asks, stopping her magic.

"Any captain worth this salt knows when a storm's brewing. And trust me, we need to find shelter now. Go!" He shouts. "Go!" They turn around and begin to run, finding shelter behind the Underworld's version of Regina's vault. A cyclone comes through and leaves as fast as it came.

"That was quick." Avia says, perplexed.

"Everyone okay?" Emma asks, looking them all over.

"Yeah." Snow worries. "But something's out there." Suddenly a shooting pain ignites inside of Avia's head, causing her to fall back against the stone building, holding her head. "Something was in that storm." Snow continues, backing away as she grabs an arrow and makes her way around the vault.

"Wait!" Avia squeals in pain. "Mom!"

"Avia, what's - " Emma begins to ask, only to be interrupted by a ferocious beast attacking their mother. "Mom!"

Suddenly, waking up in the night, sitting atop a roof, Emma jumps up, gasping, clearing dreaming.

Nearby, near the edge of the building, Killian looks back. "Bad dream?"

"Yeah." Emma answers, standing up, shaking it off. "It was nothing." She walks over to him. "Sorry I fell asleep."

"I'm glad you did." Killian tells her. "You're looking as rough as Avia, who I can only presume hasn't slept either since she's arrived."

Emma narrows her eyes at the pirate. "Gee. Thanks."

"Emma, I've got this under control."

"I will sleep for weeks as soon as we defeat Hades, I promise." She tries to assure him. They look down to see a light flashing from the doors of the building they are currently standing on. "That's the signal. They're ready."

Inside the Underworld's version of the library, Regina is at the elevator door, drawing different markings over it, while Karley and Nick step into the room, walking past her and over to their father, Michael. And Avia is standing between her parents, holding Snow close to her as she breathes heavily into her mothers chest.

Emma and Killian soon make their way inside. "Mom." Emma calls out quickly, surprising Snow with a hug.

David looks closer at his daughter. "Emma, everything okay? You look just as freaked as Avia looked moments ago. She woke up from a much needed sleep - " David explains, tracing his fingers along his young daughter's cheek. " - and straight into your mother's arms." Emma pulls away, keeping a firm grip on her mom's arm, while Avia turns her head, looking up at her sister. Emma eyes her sister curiously before realizing Avia must have come out of the same dream.

"Dream?" Emma questions Avia.

Avia nods, shakily. "Dream."

Snow looks at her daughters in confusion. "Dream? You both had a dream? The same dream? What about?"

Avia pulls out of Snow's arms as Emma does the same. "Nothing." They both say in unison.

"Well, that's convincing." Killian comments sarcastically

"When you're done hugging it out, Emma, I can use a little help here." Regina interrupts.

"So this is what you've been working on all night. This is our new plan to defeat Hades and go home - a bunch of squiggly lines?"

"Hades put one hell of a protection spell on his elevator, and these 'squiggly lines' are the only way to crack it open."

"Then hopefully that elevator will take us straight to him." Snow adds.

"Maybe with surprise on our side, we can get a shot at him." David hopes.

"That's a lot of 'maybe's' and 'hopefully's.'" Killian tells them.

Avia looks around with worry. She wanted to leave with her family, and she needed her family to leave with her. She was sick of being in the Underworld, and was ready to be back inside the somewhat real one. "It's all we have right now." She hears Emma say. "Okay." Emma turns to Regina. "Let's do this."

Everyone watches as Regina and Emma hold out their hands, using their magic to sync with the drawn out symbols. The doors open, but there is a brick wall blocking their path. "So much for surprising him." Michael comments.

"Oh, we'll think of something else." Snow says, optimistically. "We always do."

But an idea soon crosses Emma's mind, and she turns around to her parents and the others. "What if I could burn our names off the gravestones that Hades made for us, the ones holding us here?"

"We looked for a spell like that." Karley tells her. "It doesn't exist."

"Actually, it does." Emma looks at Avia. "It kind of came to me in a dream."

"In a dream?" David questions. "The same dream you both had?"

"I know it sounds crazy, but I can remember every detail."

"Yeah." Avia speaks up, shaking her head. "I remember, too. No, Emma."

"Avia - " Emma sighs. "It would be a long shot, but - "

"Well, as for 'maybe's' and 'hopefully's,' I've learned never to question yours." Killian says. "I'm coming with you."

"Snow, Michael, and I will take the kids back to the apartment, keep them safe." David says.

"No, actually, I'm gonna go with Emma." Snow tells him.

"No!" Both Emma and Avia exclaim. "That's not a good idea, Mom." Emma tells her.

"You can't go." Avia pleads.

Snow traces her hand lovingly down Avia's cheek. "I promised to take down Hades and get us back home, remember? If this is how we do it, I'm in."

Avia and Emma share concern glances at one another. "Girls, I wouldn't argue with your mother." David grins. "Trust me." David and Michael begin to lead the kids out of the library, while Avia looks back, reluctant to keep going.

"Get going - " Regina tells Emma. " - and I'll meet you at the cemetery. First, I should talk to my sister. Apparently, she has some history with Hades."

"You think she'll talk to you?" Emma wonders.

"I don't know." Regina says, walking towards the door. "But if he does have a weakness, she might be the only person who knows what it is."

Elsewhere, Zelena is walking down Main Street, oblivious of the fact that she is being watched by Hades, who only longs to be loved back by her. But as Zelena continues to walk further away, something catches Hades' eyes. He looks on the ground and finds that a small flower has sprouted from the ground, something that should not be happening in the Underworld. Nothing grows, just decays. Hades kneels down and plucks the flower from the ground, holding it in his hand. He examines it closely, knowing exactly what it is, and that what it is needs to be stopped immediately.

Over at the Underworld's version of the pet shelter, a deceased Gaston, who is none other than Belle's fiance from her past, before she was taken by Rumplestiltskin, is making his way into the room, where a bucket of something is placed. He grabs the ladle on the table where there are dog dishes for the dogs to eventually be fed and uses it to get some of the food into the dish for the dogs he is tending to, but soon finds himself joined by someone.

"Now, this is just depressing." Hades says, surprising Gaston. Hades is standing in the doorway, looking at the somber man. "Look where Gaston the great hunter ended up, and all because of a woman." He says, stepping inside the room. "Not that I'm one to judge, believe me. I've had my own share of girl trouble lately."

"Lord Hades." Gaston says, displeased to see the man. "Why are you here?"

"There are some visitors in town I think you might be interested in. The beauty you were once engaged to and the beast who stole her and then murdered you." Hades informs him as he walks closer to the stunned man.

"Rumplestiltskin. So the Dark One is finally dead."

"Mm, not quite yet, but how would you like to finally get your shot at revenge?" Hades asks.

"Why are you coming to me? What's in it for you?"

Hades sighs. "Things have changed in my little domain lately. You know what I've been finding growing all over town?" He pulls out the flower from his pocket, dropping it onto the table in front of Gaston.

"That's impossible."

"It should be because nothing grows here. Things only decay."

"Well, I don't understand. What's changed?" Gaston asks.

"Hope." Hades chuckles lightly. "Thanks to these new arrivals, hope has taken root." He explains, picking up the flower once again and staring longingly down at it. "And when souls have hope, they move on." He then crumbles the flower in his hand. "And I cannot have that." Doing this, and feeling what he is feeling causes his hair to turn fiery blue in flames.

"Of course not, Lord Hades." Gaston understands.

As the blue flames disappear, Hades continues. "These interlopers must be punished, starting with the man who murdered you and dared to go back on a deal with me."

"But how am I supposed to defeat the Dark One?"

With his magic, Hades causes a bag of arrows appear across the table. "Check out the arrows. I think you'll find them up to the task." Gaston pulls one out of the bag, looking it over. "This is your chance to be a great hunter once again." The tip of the arrow begins to glow red as Gaston admires it. "And this time your prey will be the greatest beast of them all. Rumplestiltskin."

Gaston looks back at the evil man with a look of determination and revenge.

Back at Gold's shop, books are being flipped through forcibly by Belle and Rumple, who are searching for a way to save their unborn child from Hades.

But Rumple lets out a heavy sigh, rolling his eyes, and slams his book shut. "Useless."

"Well, keep looking." Belle orders, placing more books in front of her stubborn husband. "These books are full of light magic. There must be something in here that can help."

"If we wanted to boil a pot of tea, yes." Rumple says, sarcastically.

"So every time you try something nefarious, it's a smashing success - " She says, rather annoyed. " - but when I ask you to channel that power for good, you fail."

"I don't care what Merlin said. To be able to turn darkness to light is a fool's errand. To use darkness for light, that may be possible."

"I won't allow it." Belle says in frustration.

"Then we'll fail." Rumple states simply.

"Wait, what?" Belle says, giving up. "This was a mistake. I shouldn't have come here." She proceeds to storm out of the pawn shop, fed up with Rumple, who begins to follow her out.

"Belle. Belle, please, come back."

Belle turns towards Rumple. "I don't want to hear any more justifi - " Suddenly, an arrow interrupts, and flies past Belle's head. She turns and sees Gaston across the street. "Gaston!?" She exclaims, surprised to see the man she was supposed to marry before being taken by Rumplestiltskin. "What are you doing here?"

Gaston grabs another arrow, glaring furiously at Rumple. "He killed me. I'm gonna return the favor."

"It's gonna take much more than a pointy stick to kill me." Rumple informs the man.

Gaston scoffs, aiming his bow. "We'll see about that." He fires the arrow, and fails to hit Rumple, who instead catches the glowing arrow in his hand.

Rumple examines the arrow closely. "Interesting choice of weapon. So it was Hades who sent you?"

"He and I want the same thing - to make sure you stay down here."

"Stop!" Belle demands, standing between the two men in the middle of the street. "Stop! Gaston, we all have history together, but there must be some other way to resolve it."

"I have been trapped down here for years, suffering and miserable because of him." Gaston glares, furiously. "So, no. I can't let the beast go free."

He draws another arrow, shooting at Rumple, but the Dark One poofs himself and Belle away in a puff of smoke, bringing them to the docks.

"So, you killed Gaston, my fiance, and never thought to tell me?" Belle asks, furiously.

"It was an arranged marriage." Rumple argues. "I was doing you a favor."

"This was a mistake. Once again, I've let my optimism cloud my judgment."

Rumple looks sadly down at the love of his life. "His threat is real, you know. I may be immortal, but Hades forged these arrows in the River of Souls, a river which flows right into this very sea, in fact." Belle glances at the sea of lost souls swimming around. "Now, immortal or not, one scratch, and I'm trapped in these waters forever. And I won't be able to help our child." Belle sighs, looking angry, knowing Rumple's right. "Hades is clever." He continues, stepping closer to her. "He sent Gaston because he knows you won't let me hurt him. Let's prove him wrong. Let me use just a little bit of dark magic - just enough to take care of Gaston."

"No." Belle refuses. "That's not how we're gonna defeat him. We're gonna do the opposite. We're going to help him." Rumple sighs. "We're gonna see to it that he finally moves on from this infernal place."

"Belle, please, he's not worth it."

"It's not just about him. Hook said that when his brother moved on, that it affected Hades somehow. It weakened him. So by helping people move on, maybe that's how we defeat Hades."

Over at the Underworld's version of the loft, Avia is upstairs pacing the room when Nick walks in.

"Uh. Hey." He says, closing the door behind him. "Are you okay?"

Avia lets out a heavy sigh as she sits down on the bed. "I'm just worried about my mom."

Nick furrows his brows, confused. "How come? She's with Emma, and next to you, she is the best shot I know."

Avia covers her face, groaning slightly. "No. I know." She says, looking back up. "My mom can shoot an arrow like no one else, but that may not matter."

Nick walks up and sits down next to her. "Is this about that dream that you and Emma had? Did something happen? Because you were really freaked out when you woke up." Avia doesn't say anything, though. She just continues staring straight ahead, worry filling her face as she remembers her dream. But Nick gets her attention when he slowly reaches out and grabs her hand. "You can tell me, Avia. I know things have happened between us, and I know you're probably still upset with me, but I'm still Nick. I'm still your friend. You can tell me."

Avia flinches slightly at his touch, but she doesn't move her hand from his. "I'm not mad at you." She says, looking into his eyes. "If anyone should be mad, it should be you at me. What I did is - "

"Forgivable." Nick interrupts. "You couldn't help what you were doing. But I always knew you'd come out of it. It wasn't really you."

"I don't understand how you and Karley - how my family can forgive everything like it never happened."

Nick grins. "Because we love you. I love you."

Avia just stares at Nick, unsure of what she should say. "I - Nick, if you mean that, can you please do me a favor then?"

"Anything."

"I need you to cover for me." Avia quickly stands up and grabs her jacket before walking to the window.

"Where are you going, Avia?" Nick asks, confused.

"I'm going save my mom."

And with that, Avia climbs out the window before Nick can even say a word.

Elsewhere in the Underworld, at the graveyard, Emma stands before the three tombstones, just like in her dream, but with just Killian and Snow by her sides.

"The spell worked in my dream." She tells them. "Now I just need to make it happen." Emma closes her eyes and raises her hand to release the magic.

"Emma, wait!" Avia shouts, running towards them.

"Avia!" Snow exclaims.

"Avia, what are you doing here!?" Emma shouts.

Avia runs up to them, looking at the three tombstones. "Apparently recanting our same dream." She looks up at their mom. "You can't be here."

Snow furrows her brows, placing her hand gently on her daughter's cheek. "Sweetheart, what are you talking about? Does your father know you're here?"

But before Avia can speak, Killian interrupts. "We don't have much time to inform him, I'm afraid." They turn to Killian as the wind howls as he looks behind them. "Any captain worth his salt knows when a storm's brewing." Emma and Avia's eyes widen, hearing Killian repeat the same words he did in their dream. "And trust me, we need to find shelter."

Emma glances at Avia before looking at Killian. "Why did you just say that?"

"Oh, it's fine, love. It's just a storm. I've survived worse."

The wind begins to pick up even more. "No! Mom, we have to go!" Avia tries to pull her mother away.

"What is going on!?" Snow asks her daughters, seeing their frightened faces.

"Our dream - " Emma says. " - It wasn't just a dream."

"This is exactly how it happened." Avia adds. "Mom, we have to go!"

"We don't have time." Killian tells them. "We need to take shelter now."

"Come on." Snow grabs Avia's hand and they all begin to run and take cover behind the mausoleum as a cyclone forms.

But the moment they stop, so does the storm. Emma and Avia stand with each other, afraid of what's about to happen. "Well, look at that." Killian says, just as the wind dies down. "The world's fastest storm. Maybe this is turning into a good dream."

"It wasn't the storm we were worried about." Emma reveals. "In the dream, the cyclone brought a monster."

"What kind of monster?" Snow asks, before a loud roar is heard.

"That kind." Avia says as tears form in her eyes while she glances at her mother.

"I'll take a look."

"No!" Avia and Emma shout, stopping her.

"Mom, you have to trust us." Emma pleads. "I can't let you do this."

"Okay." Snow places her loving hands onto her daughters' cheeks. "Okay, Emma." She looks down at Avia, wiping away her tears. "It was your girls' dream. What do we do now?"

The creature roars again as Emma and Avia stand together, helplessly. "We run."

And, with that, they all begin to run straight ahead, away from the creature roaring behind them.

Inside the diner, Zelena is sitting in a booth, in a depressed state, looking out the window when Regina makes her way over with two cups of coffee.

"You want some company?" Regina asks. Zelena is surprised to see her sister, but she soon nods her head, somberly, and Regina slides into the booth opposite of her.

"How's my daughter?" Zelena asks.

"Safe." Regina assures her. "Hidden in the woods with Robin Hood. Hades will never find where they are."

"He'll find her eventually. When he wants something, he never gives up."

Regina looks curiously. "And you know this how?"

"I don't want to talk about it." She says, looking down, ashamed.

"Zelena, for once in our lives, maybe we can just try acting like sisters." Regina suggests. Zelena looks back, shocked by this suggestion. "What happened between you and Hades?"

Immediate tears begin to form in Zelena's eyes as she thinks about her past with Hades. "He fell in love with me." She says, shocking Regina.

"Oh."

"I know. It was totally ridiculous." She agrees, amused. "The idea that anyone could love me - "

Regina furrows her brows, sensing something. "Do you love him?" But Zelena finds it hard to respond. "I can imagine how hard this is for you, but you know Hades. He's the one who's keeping us all down here. So I need to know what his weakness is."

Zelena chuckles at this, confusing Regina. "So this little visit wasn't just sisterly concern. It was about Hades."

"No, it was both."

"Well, I'm sorry I don't have more to offer, but as far as I know, I'm his only weakness."

Back at the graveyard, Snow, Avia, Emma, and Killian make their way down into the vault.

"Okay, I know it seems a little creepy - " Emma grimaces as they look around the dusty and unkempt vault. " - but we should be safe down here."

The creature roars in the distance. "Are you sure?" Avia asks.

"What the hell is that thing, and why is it chasing us?" Killian asks.

"I don't know, but if it comes close, I can get a shot at it." Snow says, confidently.

"No, you cannot go back out there!" Avia shouts.

"What are you girls so afraid of? We've faced monsters before."

"Our dream - " Emma hesitates, looking at Avia. " - It's happening. And there's something we didn't tell you." Emma takes Avia's shaking hand as she glances back up at their mother. "You died."

A look of shock covers Snow's face at this new revelation, and understanding of her daughters' fears.

Meanwhile, at the pet shelter, Belle is rummaging through a drawer with Rumple standing by her side, dismayed by his wife's emotions.

"Belle, you don't need to do this to find his unfinished business." He tells her. "I know what it is - killing me."

"What - No, no, i don't accept that." Belle exclaims. "You can't judge someone without knowing their full story." She walks over to the lockers. "Here. Gaston's locker." She tries to open it, but it's locked. "Um, can you, uh - " She nods her head towards the locker. "Can you magic this open for me?"

"Well, I certainly can. Are you sure you want me to?" Rumple asks, knowing how she feels about him using magic, especially his kind of magic.

"Of course I'm sure. Why wouldn't I be?"

"Well, using my power to steal another man's property - Doesn't that qualify as dark magic?"

"This isn't murder." Belle points out. "We're opening a locker."

"Oh, so you get to be the judge of when the ends justify the means. I see." Belle just glares, unamused. "As I said - " Rumple grins. " - it's all about points of view." He then snaps his fingers and magics the lock from the locker away."

"Thank you." Belle opens Gaston's locker and begins searching through it, coming upon a book titled, 'Her Handsome Hero.' "This." She furrows her brows at the realization, looking up at her husband. "I'm his unfinished business." Rumple just remains silent, looking intently at his wife. "I'll, uh - I'll wait for him." Belle decides. "You should go." But Rumple seems unsure to leave her alone. "Trust me, I can get through to him."

Knowing that may be true, Rumple simply nods and proceeds to leave.

A while later, still inside the pet shelter Belle waits, when a dog begins to bark, signaling that someone is there. From the desk she is sitting at, Belle turns in her seat.

"Gaston?" She calls out to her former fiance. She stands, facing the doorway. "Is that you?"

"Getting colder." The familiar voice of Hades says as he walks into the room.

Belle narrows her eyes suspiciously at the dark, evil man. "What do you want from me?"

"You mean other than that baby in your belly?" Hades asks, chuckling. "Relax. I'm not gonna hurt either one of you." He steps into the room, only causing Belle to step back. "Actually, I'd like to help. How would you like to make a deal?"

Belle scoffs, amused by his offer. "I married a man who makes deals. I know what that means. Not interested."

"What about what your father used to say - 'Don't judge someone until you know their whole story'?" He quotes.

"How did you know that?" Belle wonders.

Hades scoffs. "I know lots of things. Perk of the job. Like you're trying to help Gaston move on."

"And so what if I am?

"Oh, let's just say I like this little conflict between Gaston and Rumple and want it to go on."

"And what could you possibly offer me?"

"Ooh, nothing - " Hades rolls his eyes, shrugging. " - much. Just the thing you want most in the world." He steps closer to Belle, who remains in place, and places his hand onto her belly. Belle shakes under his touch, feeling uncomfortable. "Your baby." He whispers. "Got your attention now, don't I?"

Belle narrows her tearful eyes at the man. "I'm listening."

Hades grins, turning away. "Smart girl. Because this is the easiest deal in the world." He says, walking back to the table in the middle of the room while Belle watches him closely. "All you have to do is let Rumplestiltskin face Gaston." He explains. "If one of them throws the other into the River of Souls, I'll take the mark off your baby."

Belle thinks about it for a minute. "No." She says, shocking Hades. "I swore I'd help Gaston move on, and I keep my word."

"Now, that is such a nice sentiment, but take it from me. Love makes you do crazy things." He says, walking back to the door. "I bet, with your child on the line, you are capable of - " Hades chuckles. " - anything." He begins to walk out of the door. "Let me know if you change your mind." He calls out as the dogs begin to bark as he passes.

Over at the apartment, Nick and Karley are sitting at the dining room table, looking over the storybook, while David and Michael are in the living room. David is keeping watch out of the window, while Michael can't help but keep his eyes on his children.

"They've grown so much." Michael says, amazed.

David looks at the man, then follows his gaze to Nick and Karley. "They are good kids." David assures him. "Smart. You should be proud."

Michael scoffs. "Oh, I am. But that's not me. That's all Regina, and you and your family." David gives the man a curious look. "Well, if I was still alive, they would just have me. Maybe Regina. But things definitely wouldn't be like they are now. They have this whole life - a bigger family than I could have ever given them."

"Well, thank my daughter. Without Avia, or Emma, we wouldn't have Nick and Karley in our lives, or my daughters." David furrows his brows, looking up at the stairs. "Speaking of my daughter. I should probably go check on Avia. She's been up there for awhile."

As David starts to walk towards the stairs, Nick sees him from the corner of his eyes and quickly stands up. "Hey, I think we found something!" He says, stepping in front of David, stopping him from moving forward.

Karley frowns, giving her brother a bewildered look. "No, we didn't."

Michael walks over, slightly amused. "You know, Nick, you've never been great at subtlety, even when you were younger. Is there something upstairs you don't want David to see?"

David narrows his eyes at the boy. "Nicholas?"

Nick darts his eyes up the stairs, to the two fathers, and his sister, unsure of what he should do. "Uh, a little help." He urges his sister.

Karley chuckles. "No way. Not when I don't know what we are hiding."

David lets out a heavy sigh, crossing his arms. "With my daughter's track record, I'm going to assume she's not up there and you're covering for her."

Back at the vault, Killian is looking towards the stairs of the vault.

"I think that monster's gone away." He says, walking back to Snow, Emma, and Avia, who are standing away. However, they soon hear a noise, and Snow quickly stands in front of Avia, as they all ready themselves to fight whatever comes down. Killian quickly grabs the knife from the table and walks back to the stairway, swinging it behind the wall, only for it to nearly hit Regina, who gasps, jumping back. "Sorry, love." He apologizes.

Regina lets out a sigh, walking further down. "Well, I'm glad your reflexes are better than your sense of style." She walks past him and over to Emma, Snow, and Avia. "Well, this has turned into quite a day. Why are you all in my vault?"

"Short version - thing with fangs trying to kill us." Snow tells her.

Regina appears confused by this. "And you're hiding instead of fighting?" She questions.

"Avia and I saw the same monster in our dreams." Emma glances at Avia, who steps up beside her. "We had the same dream last night, and in the end it - "

"It killed me." Snow finishes for her daughter. "So - "

Regina nods, understanding. "I thought it was a message, or some sort of - " Emma grimaces. " - vision of the future."

"And you came to what - " Regina asks, looking at the youngest charming. " - to fight with no magic?"

Avia rolls her eyes. "I came to keep Mom away." She says, annoyed, looking at her mother in defeat. "But it - "

"Worked." Snow says, pulling her daughter to her side. "I'm still here. I'm alive."

"And, you both dreamt it." Regina tells them. "It's not like it'll happen."

"But we had the dream, at the same time." Avia points out. "That's never happened before."

"Maybe this dream isn't just about the monster. It's about you both working out some issues."

Emma leans back on the chair behind her, stubbornly. "I don't have any issues." She claims, despite the faces Snow, Regina, and Killian are giving her.

Avia scoffs. "I know I do. And, if we are having the same dream, then so do you, sis." She says, amusing Snow.

"I have to agree with Regina and Avia, Emma." Killian says, walking closer to his girlfriend. "What's going on?"

Emma sighs, giving in. "Maybe I - feel like I failed everyone." She admits.

"Failed?" Killian questions. "You saved Avia."

"And, if anyone failed everyone, it's me." Avia says.

Snow looks down at her daughter. "Avia, why would you say that?"

"Because we're still trapped in the Underworld. You all wouldn't be down here if I wouldn't have given into darkness. And what were you thinking bringing everyone down here!?" Avia exclaims towards Emma. "You, Regina, and Mom wouldn't be stuck here if you would have never come for me."

"Okay, enough!" Snow shouts, holding her hands up towards her daughters.

"No." Emma says, tearfully. "Avia's right. I should have done this alone. Like everything else we have done, I should have came get Avia by myself. Now I'm always frightened. I'm frightened that someone will die - " She looks at Avia. " - again, and it'll be my fault. And I'll never forgive myself."

"Okay, listen." Snow grabs Avia's hand, leading her towards Emma. "You both need to listen to me. Emma, you didn't force any of us down here. If I remember correctly, I came willingly without question because I wanted to save my daughter." She says, looking firmly at Avia. "I was not going to allow my other daughter to do any of this alone. We are family. I am your mother and I am done allowing you two to be on your own. We all wanted to come here. We all wanted to save Avia, even though we knew it would be hard. These things always are, but some things are worth it. Love is worth it. Family is worth it. Now, if we want to get home, let's do what works. Let's face this monster together."

Emma and Avia look at their mom with small smiles.

Inside Gold's shop, the front door opens and Gaston cautiously enters with his bow and arrow in tow. He looks around while closing the door, ringing the bell above as he does so. He proceeds to walk further inside, searching for what, or rather, who he is looking for.

But it's not long before he makes it into the back room and finds Rumplestiltskin sitting in a chair, his back towards the hunter, at a table.

Without saying a word, Gaston raises his bow and fires an arrow, hitting Rumple in the back, and knocking him onto the floor. Gaston laughs, wickedly. "I guess every beast has its weakness." He walks closer to retrieve his arrow, but he sees that it isn't Rumplestiltskin at all, but a dummy which is dressed like the Dark One.

Belle sighs as she walks out of her hiding spot. "So you would really kill him if you had the chance." Gaston turns, surprised to see her there, and surprised to see that she tricked him. "Yeah, I wasn't sure if you had it in you."

"This is pointless, Belle." Gaston says, furiously. He takes his arrow out of the dummy, demanding to know where the Dark One is. "Where is Rumpelstiltskin!?"

"Look, Gaston, please stop this." Belle begs, following the angry man.

"I can't!" Gaston shouts, pounding his hands loudly onto the table in front of him. "Seeing him dead is the only thing I care about anymore."

"Are you sure about that?" Belle drops the book she found in his locker onto the table in front of him.

"You broke into my locker?"

"Gaston, I want to help you move on. If you still have this book, it must mean something to you."

"Of course it does."

"Is it because I gave it to you?" Belle asks. "Am I your unfinished business?"

Gaston steps closer to Belle with a cold look in his eyes. "You think I have this book because I like it?" He chuckles, picking up the book. "I've tried to throw this out a hundred times, a thousand. It always reappears. It's part of my punishment down here."

Belle shakes her head, confused. "I don't understand."

"This book reminds me why I died. Because you made me weak!" He shouts, slamming the book down on the table.

"What?" Belle questions, appalled. "Me?"

In anger, Gaston proceeds to slide everything from the table to the floor. "I should have gone after Rumplestiltskin with an army, but I tried to follow your example. I tried to do what is right, but that book is wrong. Being a hero is not about compassion and having forgiveness. It's about strength! Doing whatever it takes to defeat your enemies."

"But Rumple isn't even your real enemy." Belle argues. "Hades is."

"Why do you defend Rumplestiltskin? He kidnapped you. He made you a servant. You should want him dead, too."

"Yeah, well, I don't."

"Why not?"

Belle takes a step forward, finally revealing the truth. "He's my husband."

This news shocks Gaston before he begins to laugh. "Good, ole Belle." He grabs his bow from the table. "You always did have a soft spot for a monster." He says, walking away.

"What kind of deal?" Rumple asks, talking somewhere in town with Belle, after her encounter with Gaston. Belle just finished telling Rumple about her conversation with Hades.

"Look, it doesn't matter 'cause I said no." Belle tells him.

"Take it from a man who trades in deals." Rumple stresses. "It matters very much. What was the deal, Belle?"

"Look, I tell you, you got to promise me something." She insists. "You have to promise me you won't hurt Gaston, no matter what you learn."

"Belle, you can trust me."

"Alright. He said that if I let you and Gaston face each other and one of you ends up in the River of Souls, he'll then tear up the contract on our baby."

"And you turned him down." Rumple says in disbelief.

"Of course I did. I failed once with Gaston, but I can fix this."

"Belle, what Merlin said about a man that can control dark for good - I really want to be that man for you. Truly. Just - not today."

With that, Rumple waves his hand and disappears, leaving Belle standing distraught, knowing what her husband is going to do.

Out by the docks, Gaston is being levitated in the air, getting chocked by Rumplestiltskin through his dark magic.

"Revenge is such a tricky business." The Dark One says. "I find it rarely ends well, unless, of course, you're me. And now you get to spend eternity trapped in these waters."

"You may destroy me - " Gaston strains to say. " - but you'll always be a beast."

"Well, I'm alright with that." Rumple grins. "You see, uh, this is the fun part." He levitates Gaston higher in the air, choking him even more.

"Rumple!" Belle shouts, running towards them. "Stop!"

"Belle." Rumple sighs.

"Please." She begs, running in front of him. "For all that we've shared, let me tell you one thing before you go through with this." Gaston continues to grunt, attempting to catch his breath.

"Alright, Belle, what is it?"

Belle steps closer to Rumple. "I just want to tell you I have always known who you really are." She smiles, as Rumple looks longingly into her eyes. "And that's why I love you." Belle then embraces Rumple in a passionate kiss, giving her the chance to pry the Dark One's dagger from his coat pocket. She immediately holds it up in front of her when she pulls away from his kiss. "But I also know who I really am, and I can't let you hurt him." Rumple looks at Belle in disappointment. "In fact, I command you not to."

With much reluctance, and having no other choice, Rumple drops his hand, sending Gaston to the ground. Gaston begins to cough, catching his breath. "Belle, you're making a big mistake." Rumple tells his wife.

Belle walks over to Gaston. "Are you alright?"

With fury in his eyes, Gaston narrows his eyes up at Rumpelstiltskin. "I will be." He quickly grabs his bow and arrow and stands up, aiming it at the Dark One.

"What!?" Belle shouts. "No!" Rumple quickly ducts down, fearing for his life, while Belle proceeds to get in the middle of the two men, shoving Gaston out of the way and straight into the River of Lost Souls, condemning him for all eternity. Rumple stands back up, shocked by what he just witnessed, never believing his wife could, or would, do such a thing. Belle, however, watches in horror as the man she once loved, or thought to love, is lost forever. Rumple walks over to his distraught wife. "What have I done?" She asks, heartbroken. She then hands the dagger back to Rumple. "I guess you were right. Darkness will always win." Not knowing what else to do, she falls into Rumple's embrace, allowing him to comfort her.

"I'm so sorry, Belle." He says, sincerely. "I never wanted this to happen to you, but you saved me. You saved our child."

"Actually - " The cruel, familiar voice says from behind, causing them to turn to Hades. " - not so much. Sorry to break up this beautiful domestic scene, but your baby is still mine."

"No, we had a deal." Belle exclaims. "Gaston went in the sea."

"I said I would break the contract if Gaston or Rumplestiltskin threw the other in the river." Hades clarifies. "But since Belle did the deed - " Hades laughs. " - what a fun surprise that was - No deal."

"No. I will get my baby free of you." Belle says, confidently. "You monster!"

"Me?" Hades questions. "Well, you're the one who just doomed your ex-boyfriend - " Hades walks towards the end of the dock to look into the sea. " - to eternal torment."

"Don't listen to him, Belle." Rumple says. "He wanted this to happen."

"Why?" Belle asks. "Why did you push me to this?"

"I have my reasons." Hades tells her as he kneels down, watching as a flower begins to rot once again. "Now, this - " He plucks the dead flower from the ground, standing back up. " - is a beautiful flower imbued with my favorite scent - hopelessness."

He then poofs away, leaving Belle to once again lean her head onto Rumple.

Still sitting in the booth, a waitress brings over a platter to Zelena without saying a word to the Wicked Witch.

"Uh, I didn't order anything." Zelena calls out to the waitress who ignores her, walking away. Zelena looks curiously at the platter, and decides to see what is underneath. She lifts the silver cover, revealing a rotted flower that Hades had plucked at the docks.

There's a note that reads her name 'Zelena' on it, and so the Wicked Witch picks up the nicely wrapped flower, which she proceeds to take from the paper. She holds it in her hand, examining it for a minute, understanding who it came from.

Zelena admires the rotted flower before she smiles, looking back out the window, knowing that Hades is somewhere nearby.

Meanwhile, deep in the woods of the Underworld, a large paw print is seen engraved in the dirt. Snow examines it, on the hunt for the monster that supposedly ends her life.

"It's close." She tells the others. "Keep your eyes peeled. Avia stay close to Emma and Regina." She says, leading them.

"Mom, do you really think it's a good idea to find the monster that's wanting to kill you!?" Avia exclaims.

"Better that we kill it first before it can even attempt to kill your mother." Regina says before spotting something in the distance. "There!" She points out in front of her.

They see something running and she and Emma fire a blast of magic, in unison, and Snow fires an arrow. The beast is grazed and falls down. "Nice shot." Killian commends.

They begin to run towards it. "Wait, everybody stay back!" Emma shouts. "That thing could still be alive!" Emma goes to raise her hand again to send magic to finish it off.

"Wait, Emma!" Avia shouts. "Don't!"

Snow and Avia manage to run ahead of them and see exactly what it is. Snow smiles slightly at her youngest. "I think your dream was a vision." She says to Emma. "But it wasn't about saving me." Avia picks up the red cloak on the side and hands it to Snow. "It was about finding her." With that, Snow drapes the cloak over the monster, turning it back into an unconscious human.

"Aunt Ruby." Avia smiles, relieved.

Back at the apartment, David slowly and carefully places Ruby onto the bed.

"Is she okay?" Snow wonders.

"Why is she down here?" David asks, frustrated.

"She's not - " Nick begins.

"No, she's still breathing." Killian interrupts.

"Well, how long do you think she'll be out?" Snow asks.

"I don't know." Regina says. "We hit her with some strong stuff."

"Where has she been since she left Storybrooke?" David wonders.

Snow shrugs. "I don't know. She went to find her pack."

"Unless they're dead, I'd say she's sniffing in the wrong place." Regina says.

"Any explanation for what she's doing here?" Killian probes.

Emma reaches for what Ruby has clutched in her hand. "Just this." It's a blue and white ribbon.

Oz / Some time ago...

"Over here!" Ruby shouts as she runs through the woods with Mulan following behind. "This way!"

"Right behind you." Mulan calls out. Ruby stops, sniffing the air. "What is it?"

"I lost the scent again." Ruby frowns.

"Ruby, it's okay." Mulan assures her as she catches her breath. "We'll find your pack."

Ruby looks away, defeated. "That's what you said yesterday and the day before. It's late. Come on." They begin to walk through the woods again.

"Tell me everything you know about this land." Mulan says.

"There's supposed to be a lot of singing." Ruby says, unsure.

Mulan grimaces. "Singing?"

"Well, there was in the movie. I saw it in Storybrooke. I think there was a book, too."

"Ruby, this isn't a book or a movie." Mulan reminds her.

"Well, whatever it is, there's no trace of my pack's scent." Ruby says in frustration. "I don't think they were ever here to begin with."

"Well, we better start looking for a way back to the Enchanted Forest."

But before Ruby can follow Mulan back, she sniffs the air. "Wait." Mulan turns back around, just when they hear a creature snarling. Mulan quickly draws her sword, pressing her back against Ruby's, ready to face what's to come. Suddenly, a small dog runs out of the woods, whimpering. "It's okay." Ruby chuckles. "I think I know who this little guy is. Toto?" She calls out as the dog walks over to her.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you." A voice says from behind, coming out of the woods. Mulan quickly draws her sword out towards the woman, who is none other than Dorothy. "Toto only barks for one reason - when he has sniffed out a witch." She aims her weapon at the two. "Who is it? Who's the witch?"

"He's not barking because I'm a witch." Ruby tells her, glancing at Mulan.

"Ruby, it's okay." Mulan assures her. "You can tell her."

"I'm - " Ruby hesitates. "I'm part wolf." This surprises Dorothy, aiming her weapon at Ruby. "But there's nothing to be scared of." She leans down, putting her hand out to Toto. "See?"

But Toto begins to bark and run away. "Wait, don't! Toto!" Dorothy shouts. "Why did you do that?" Dorothy exclaims, chasing after her dog. "Toto."

"Well, let us help you." Ruby insists.

Dorothy turns back to them. "You've done enough."

"You're going the wrong way."

"Now you're an expert on Oz?"

"No." Ruby smiles. "But I can tell you - " She sniffs the air, retrieving Toto's scent. " - he's headed northwest. Straight into the wind. Through a juniper field into a valley of pines." Mulan sheathes her sword. "Come on." Dorothy keeps her weapon drawn as she begins to follow Ruby and Mulan. However, the wind begins to pick up, howling, and blowing the leaves around them.

"No." Dorothy worries.

In the distance is a green cyclone. "What is it?" Mulan asks.

"The Wicked Witch. Let's go." They all three begin to run as fast as they can.

Underworld / Present...

Inside her farmhouse, Zelena is sitting by the window alone, looking down at the note she received from Hades.

"Would you prefer I send you chocolates next time?" Hades asks, appearing in front of her.

"If you're looking for a thank you, maybe you should write your name on the card next time." Zelena suggests, placing the card aside.

"I'm afraid I didn't come to woo you, Zelena. I came to warn you." He reveals, triggering her interest.

"About what?" She asks, standing up, intrigued.

"You have a visitor from Oz."

"What?" Zelena grimaces, confused. "Who?"

"Let's just say a werewolf crash-landed here - feisty, looks good in red."

Zelena groans, knowing exactly who it is. "Oh, no." She begins to pace the floor. "Oh, that's impossible, not after what I did to her."

"Must have been quite - " He chuckles. " - well, wicked for her to chase you all the way down here."

Zelena sighs, narrowing her worried eyes. "Wicked doesn't begin to describe it. Whatever goodwill I've earned with my sister will evaporate the minute she learns the truth of what I did to their friend." She looks back at Hades, needing his help. "I need to leave before they find me."

"The Underworld?" Hades questions. "Easier said than done."

"Need I remind you I'm very much alive. And I have my own way home."

"And your daughter - you're just gonna leave her down here?"

"No, she's why I'm leaving." Zelena tells him. "If I stay, if I face that wolf, I'm just gonna do something else that I'll regret. And then Regina will never let me see her again."

"You certainly won't get your daughter back by running." Hades informs her, picking up the rotted flower from the table. "Stay. Face them."

Zelena scoffs, chuckling lightly. "Let me guess - with you."

"We make quite a team. You can trust me, Zelena. I'll give you everything you want." He promises, holding out the rotted flower to her.

But Zelena refuses to give in that easily. "Sorry, Hades. My time in the Underworld is over."

This disappoints Hades, who lets out a heavy sigh, dropping his hand which holds the rotted flower. "Do what you must. But just know either way I'm gonna take care of that wolf."

Hades drops the rotted flower back on the table before disappearing from a distressed Zelena.

Over at Gold's shop, Belle stands inside looking over at the book she had given to Gaston.

Rumple walks in with a small smile. "Stop torturing yourself, Belle."

Belle slams the book closed. "No, I gave Gaston this book to teach him that a true hero needs to show his enemy compassion. Right? But in the moment that I could've shown him mercy, what, I send him to a fate worse than death."

"Belle, you were trying to protect our child." Rumple reminds her.

"Yeah, and you know, if Hades had actually destroyed the contract, then maybe I could live with what I did. But he found a loophole, and I darkened my soul, Rumple, just - just to save you."

"And now we can free our child from Hades' grasp together."

"No, I need to make this right on my own." Belle says. "I leave it up to you, you'll just make me do something else I'll regret." Rumple looks away, hurt by her words.

Back at the apartment, everyone is gathered in the bedroom, with Ruby now sitting up, conscious.

"The Underworld?" She questions, looking at Snow, who nods. "I don't understand. I used a tracking spell so the cyclone would bring me to Zelena."

"Ruby, she's down here, too." Emma tells her.

"Wait, love, you came down here looking for Zelena?" Killian questions.

Regina sighs. "Why am I not surprised? What did my sister do now?"

"It's my friend, Dorothy." Ruby answers. "Zelena wanted her magic slippers so that she could get back to her baby."

"Ruby, what did Zelena do to your friend?" Snow asks.

"That's why I'm here. I don't know. Dorothy went to face her and just disappeared. Mulan and I looked everywhere, but we couldn't find her." Ruby sighs, clearly stressed. "Snow, this is all my fault. None of this would have happened if I hadn't showed up in Oz." Snow quickly sits up to assure her friend. "It's just one more life that I have destroyed because of what I am."

"Maybe you really are my aunt." Avia mumbles, feeling the same, only to receive a disapproving look from her mother and a nudge from Emma.

Snow looks back at Ruby. "That is not true, and you know it." She says, firmly. "Ruby, we'll find out what happened to Dorothy. I promise."

"There's only one way we're gonna do that." Emma tells them, looking up at Regina. "It's time to talk to Zelena." They all stand up and begin walking towards the door.

"I'm coming." Regina says, reluctantly. Just when she thought her sister had turned her life around, her past shows up to bite her in the ass. "I actually thought we were getting somewhere with her."

As everyone heads out the door, Snow stops her husband. "David. Will you do something while I'm gone?"

"Sure. What is it?" David asks.

"Well, we haven't - " Snow sighs. "Neal hasn't heard our voices in days, and I'm getting a little - "

"Yeah, me, too." He says, understanding. "I'll call him for the both of us."

"Thank you. Oh, take the men with you. Streets aren't safe for anyone to be alone right now."

"Yeah, I'll be careful. Believe me, I will tell Neal the reason why his mother is not on the line - 'cause she's out doing what she does best - " He smiles proudly at his wife. " - being a hero."

Snow caresses his cheek, lovingly, before following the others out, while David watches with worried eyes.

Over at the telephone booth, there is a long line of people wanting to speak to their loved ones as well.

"Careful, lad." Killian warns as he, David, Michael, and Nick walk towards the booth from across the street. "Hades has eyes and ears everywhere. We can't trust anyone here."

"Is the line always this long?" Nick wonders.

David frowns. "It's not a line. Something's wrong." They see a man inside the booth attempting to destroy the phone. "Hey!" He shouts as they run to the booth where Cruella De Vil is standing. "What do you think you're doing?"

"What does it look like, darling?" Cruella asks. "I'm fulfilling my mayoral responsibilities by supervising some municipal improvements. Get on with it, Claude." She orders the man to continue to do what he was doing. "Rip it out."

"No, no, no, no!" David stops him. "This is the only chance these people have to contact their loved ones."

"Oh, you mean it's your only opportunity to reach out and haunt your infant son." Cruella says in awe. "Looks like Chisel Chin, Jr. will just have to go to bed without what I can imagine are terribly dull bedtime stories."

"Cruella, why are you doing this?" David asks.

"Is this because I won't write you back to life?" Nick asks.

"No, Nicholas, darling." Cruella assures him. "I'm not the one that ordered all the phones to be ripped out down here."

David looks away, realizing who it was. "Hades." He says, looking back at Michael.

"Well, with all you heroes running around the place he feels has a little too much hope bubbling up in his realm." She explains.

"Well, you can tell him it's gonna take a lot more than ripping out phones to discourage us."

Cruella shrugs. "I will. But in the meantime, if you wanted to strike a deal, I could look the other way while you made one last call. I'm assuming I'd have the author and his pen - " Cruella steps flirtatiously closer to David. " - to write me back to life."

"Forget it!" Michael exclaims.

David pushes Cruella's hand away. "We're not making deals with you."

Cruella composes herself. "Have it your way." She glares at David. "Do it, Claude." Claude continues his orders and rips out the phone. "Ta-ta, darlings." She turns and walks away with Claude following, carrying the phone with him as the others watch helplessly from behind.

Over at the farmhouse, Zelena is standing in front of the house wearing the silver slippers.

"I'll come back for you when the time's right, my little sweet pea." She says to her daughter, in hopes that she'll hear her. "But for now, you're with the people that can give you what you need."

Zelena clicks her heels two times, but before she can do it a third, magic stops her. She turns to find her sister, Ruby, Snow, Emma, Avia, and Karley walking towards her. "You're not going anywhere, sis." Regina tells her.

Zelena sighs. "How do you expect me to become mother material if you won't leave me be?" She exclaims, angrily.

Regina chuckles. "Well, we were planning on it until someone you screwed over literally dropped out of the sky."

"What did you do to Dorothy?" Ruby asks bitterly.

Oz / Some time ago...

"It touched down right here." Dorothy says, bringing them to a place of destruction in the woods caused by the cyclone. "Toto? Toto!"

"There's nothing here." Ruby tells them, looking around.

"Or here." Mulan says.

"Toto." Dorothy continues to call out.

"Looking for me?" They all look up to find Zelena standing before them with a smug smile on her face. Mulan and Dorothy immediately draw their weapons at the Wicked Witch. "I see you picked up a few strays while I was gone." She comments on Ruby and Mulan.

"Watch it, Zelena." Ruby warns.

"You really want to mess with us again?" Mulan asks.

"You know you're not welcome in Oz anymore." Dorothy tells her.

Zelena glares at her enemy. "You think I want to be in this emerald-tinted dump? I was banished here by your friends." She says to Ruby.

"I'm sure they had good reason." Ruby tells her, knowingly.

"Of course." Zelena says, sadly. "To keep me from my newborn baby."

"Right." Dorothy says, not believing her.

"It's the truth." Zelena smiles. "You see, Dorothy, you may have the love of Oz, but I have something better - the love of my child. She needs her mommy, so you're gonna take me straight back to her right now." She demands, looking down at Dorothy's feet. But disappointment fills her face when she doesn't find the slippers on Dorothy's feet. "Where are my silver slippers!?"

"You gave them to me, and I'm not going to give them back."

"Well, then - " Zelena narrows her eyes at her enemy. " - maybe you'll think again - " She picks up a basket. " - when you see who I found sniffing through this rubble." Zelena opens the basket, revealing Toto whimpering from inside.

"Toto. Don't you - " Dorothy starts to run to her dog, but Mulan quickly pushes her back when Zelena puts out her hand, threatening Dorothy with her magic.

"Your mutt for the slippers. You've got until sundown tomorrow to decide which you prefer." Zelena laughs before disappearing in a cloud of green smoke.

Underworld / Present...

"Zelena, tell us what you did to Dorothy." Regina pleads. "Fight your instincts and help us. It's the only way you'll ever see your little girl again. Trust me."

Zelena looks away, shaking her head slightly. "No. I'm afraid I can't fix this. Even I can't help Dorothy now."

"Why not?" Emma asks.

Zelena sighs and reluctantly conjures up a magic mirror, revealing Dorothy inside, unconscious, devastating Ruby. "You killed her?"

"Not quite." Zelena shrugs. "I took a page our of your book, Regina."

"Sleeping curse." Regina reveals.

"You need to wake her up!" Ruby orders.

"That's what I'm trying to tell you - I can't." Zelena tells her. "Dorothy may have the love of the people of Oz, but there's only one thing that could help her now."

"True love's kiss." Regina says.

"No family, unmarried, unloved, all alone. There's no one that can give Dorothy what she needs." Zelena says, pretty proud of herself. "I'm afraid sometimes I'm just too clever."

A while later, Zelena is sitting in front of the silver slippers that are placed on the table.

"It's a simple trade really. The slippers for my daughter." She says to Regina.

"Really?" Regina asks. "You think you're in a position to bargain with your own child? You trapped Dorothy in an unbreakable curse."

"I'm sorry if I'm good at what I do." Zelena smiles.

"Stop hiding behind all that bluster." Regina scowls. "You're not proud - you're caught. Look. I get it. You did a terrible thing, but just because you made one bad move - or thirty - doesn't mean you can't make a good one now." Zelena looks down, taking in Regina's speech. "Zelena." Regina steps forward sitting down in the chair in front of her sister. "You can come back from this. Trust me, I know."

Zelena chuckles lightly. "Think so?"

Regina narrows her eyes at the silver slippers on the table. "Well, there's only one way to find out, if you try."

Zelena sighs, thinking it over. She finally grabs the slippers and places them in front of a grinning Regina. "Here." Zelena stands from the table to make herself a drink. "You can keep your pep talks. I have delusions that anything will change. Not you, not me." She sits back down, pouring the alcohol into a glass. "I hope they wake her." She smiles sarcastically. "And if you need me, I'll be right here."

Regina grabs the slippers and walks out.

Out on the porch, Ruby is pacing back and forth with worry.

"We have to do something." She panics. "Dorothy is all alone back there. She doesn't have anyone."

Regina walks out onto the porch. "Not for long." She pulls the silver slippers from her bag. "These can at least get you back to Oz."

"Way to go, Mom." Karley praises.

"How did you get her to hand those over to you?" Snow asks, surprised.

"You're not going to believe me, but all I did was ask." Regina tells them.

"What good are slippers if there is no one back in Oz that can give Dorothy true love's kiss?" Ruby asks, defeated.

"Are you sure there isn't anyone?" They turn and look at Avia who is sitting on the edge of the porch, looking at her godmother with a small grin.

"Her family was awful to her. And the only person that she has ever loved was her deceased Aunt Em."

"She may still be here." Emma says. "All we have to do is find her."

Ruby smiles, hoping that she is. They all start to walk down the porch in search for Dorothy's Aunt Em. "That's not what you meant, was it?" Karley quietly asks her friend.

Avia jumps down from the railing she was sitting on, rolling her eyes, and shrugging. "They'll get it sooner or later."

Oz / Some time ago...

"This is the best shot we've got to get Toto back." Mulan says, as they look down into a cauldron where they have a potion bubbling.

"Are you sure it'll work on her?" Dorothy asks.

Mulan pours the ingredients into the pot. "Sleeping powder knocked Zelena out before. It should again." Ruby tells her.

"I just need one more ingredient to give it its kick." Mulan tells them. "Poppies."

"I know exactly where we can get some." Dorothy says.

"I'm coming with you." Ruby tells her. "Mulan, keep the cauldron going."

"I can handle myself." Dorothy argues, not needing Ruby to go with her.

Ruby scowls. "I wasn't asking permission."

Dorothy rolls her eyes and walks away with Ruby following behind.

Through the woods, Dorothy walks through a patch of snow branches, not even attempting to hold them back so Ruby doesn't get hit with them.

Ruby wipes the snow away from her face. "Either you're still mad at me or you don't like to talk." She says, slightly amused by the woman's attitude.

"You really want me to answer that?" Dorothy asks.

"Toto's more than a pet, isn't he?"

Dorothy looks at Ruby. "You're right. I don't like to talk."

Ruby smiles. "Shouldn't I know what we're fighting for?"

"Fine." Dorothy gives in. "You want to know?" Ruby nods. "The first time I visited Oz, I was just a kid. I wasn't here long, but when I went back to Kansas, I told my family what happened."

"And, what? They didn't believe you?"

"They tried to have me committed." Dorothy reveals.

"I'm sorry." Ruby says, sincerely.

"Don't be. Showed me who my real family was - Aunt Em. She believed me. She kept me from getting locked up."

"Is she still back in Kansas?"

"She died not long after that. But just before she did, she gave me Toto."

Ruby nods, understanding now. "He's all you have left of her."

"He's the only one who understands me."

"Don't worry. We're gonna get him back." Ruby assures her. "You know, I understand what it's like to feel like you don't belong anywhere."

"Really, Wolfie?" Dorothy asks, sarcastically. "Your family tried to have you committed?"

"No, my entire village ran me out of town."

Dorothy frowns. "Really?"

"With torches and pitchforks."

"Because you're a wolf?"

"I didn't always know I was, and I certainly didn't back then." Ruby says, sheepishly. "I wasn't in control. And one night, I accidentally killed my boyfriend."

"Wow." Dorothy says, astonished.

"Yeah. I lived on the run after that, and I eventually learned to control my power, made some friends along the way." Ruby explains. "I ended up in a town called Storybrooke, but I still felt like there was something missing."

"And you came to Oz looking for answers."

"I came here looking for my pack. I thought maybe they were what was missing, but after searching for so long, I'm not sure if they're the answer anymore."

Dorothy looks curiously. "What are you looking for?"

Ruby is taken aback. "I'm not sure."

"Well, maybe that's the problem." Dorothy says, raising her brows at the baffled woman in front of her. "Come on. Field's up ahead."

Underworld / Present...

In the graveyard, Ruby runs up to a tombstone with the others following.

"That's her." She exclaims. "That's Auntie Em."

"It's not cracked or tipped." Snow says, looking it over. "She's still down here."

"Well, what are we waiting for? Let's find her." Ruby says, impatiently.

"It's not that simple." Regina tells her. "If she's dead, she can't just leave the Underworld to give Dorothy true love's kiss."

"Maybe she doesn't have to." Snow says, getting an idea. "The other day, the Blind Witch bottled David's breath."

They all scowl in confusion. "What?" Emma asks. "Why would she do that?"

"Yeah, well, she roasted children in her previous life." Snow reminds them. "Do you even want the answer to that? The point is maybe we can do the same thing with the kiss from Aunt Em."

"Ruby could use the slippers to deliver it to Dorothy in Oz." Karley says.

"Snow!" David suddenly calls out. He, Nick, Killian, and Michael run over to them. "We've been looking everywhere for you."

"What is it?" Snow worries. "Did you talk to Neal?"

"Hades ripped out the phone." Killian tells them, solemnly. "He's cut us off from Storybrooke."

"What? Why?" Snow gasps.

"Snow, Neal's fine." David tries to assure his wife.

"Wait, no, we don't know that." Snow begins to panic. "I mean, maybe Hades did this for a reason. Maybe he's gonna make a move on Storybrooke now that we're trapped down here."

"This is exactly what he wants - for us all to lose hope."

"Well, it's hard not to when our child's life might be in danger."

"Mom, I think it's time." Emma tells her softly.

"For what?"

"For you to go home - " Emma looks at her father. " - both of you."

Snow shakes her head. "We haven't completed our mission. I'm not leaving here without you or Avia. We haven't defeated Hades."

Emma grabs Avia's hand, bringing her to her side. "You've done more for us than you know and so many down here."

"And I meant what I said - we came because we wanted to."

"Because I needed you." Avia speaks up. She looks at both her parents with tears in her eyes. "You helped me get away from Hades, but your other kid needs you more."

"And Storybrooke might, too." Emma adds.

"Well, what about Hades?" David asks. "We don't even know how to begin to fight him yet."

"Well, we'll just have to find a way to wage our war without the Charmings. I'll get your daughters back to you. Don't you worry about that." Killian grins, as Emma smiles up at him.

"But this is the Underworld." David reminds them. "We can't just walk out."

"You can with the slippers." Emma tells them, looking at Ruby, who simply nods. "Go to Oz with Ruby. Once you help Dorothy, you can click your way back to Storybrooke." But David and Snow still look unsure. "Mom, Dad, you've done enough."

Emma and Avia step up to their parents, taking their hands. "Now, our little brother needs you."

"I promise. I won't let anything happen to this one." Emma smiles, shaking Avia's hand playfully.

"You all are forgetting something." Regina speaks up. "Hades carved Snow's name on a tombstone. Emma, you couldn't take it off. Even with the slippers, she can't leave."

"I can't - " Snow says, looking up at David. " - but you can." David looks at his wife, not liking that idea either.

Over at the farmhouse, there's a knock at the door. Zelena opens it, surprised to find Belle behind it.

"Belle. To what do I owe the honor?" She asks, not thrilled to see the young woman. "Are you here to tear my crying baby from my arms again?"

"I need your help." Belle says, desperately. Zelena scoffs, turning away. "Please." She begs. "I'm asking you as a mother."

Inside, Belle and Zelena are sitting at the table, Belle having just told Zelena what happened.

"And what makes you think Hades would listen to me?" Zelena asks.

"I know that he's in love with you." Belle says.

Zelena chuckles, looking down at her drink. "My sister's got an even bigger mouth than I thought. Sorry, but Hades would never rip up one of his precious contracts even if I asked."

"Please, Zelena, you know what it's like to have to lose a child."

Zelena scowls, looking quizzically at the woman in front of her. "Why come to me when you've got the Dark One on your side?"

"Yeah, can't really trust him right now." Belle shrugs.

"So, you finally see the beast behind the man." She chuckles. "Maybe you can understand why I'm not rushing to Hades with open arms."

Belle scowls. "Well, I don't think it's because of me and Rumple. I think it's because you're scared."

"Of the Lord of Death?" Zelena laughs. "Please. I just know the truth. I'm never going to get my happy ending. Not with Hades, not with my daughter, not with anyone." She says, bitterly.

Belle rolls her eyes at Zelena's dramatics. "How do you know that if you haven't tried?"

"Oh, I have tried." Zelena scoffs. "Look where I am." She chuckles. "Drinking with the bookworm." As she takes a sip of scotch, Belle begins to gag. "Oh, come on. If I disgust you that much, maybe you should leave."

Belle continues gag as she stands up to get herself a glass of water. "No. It's - It's not that." Zelena stands, walking over to Belle, crossing her arms. "It's just morning sickness. You remember what that's like." She says, taking a sip of water.

Zelena scoffs. "Actually, I don't. Not since the Dark Swan made sure my pregnancy lasted all of ten minutes."

"Wait." Belle remembers what Emma had done to Zelena. "Hades, if - if he decides he wants my child now, he could speed up my pregnancy, too."

"I'd love to say that he isn't capable of such a thing, but I can assure you he is."

"No." Belle panics. "And I thought that I had time on my side. I guess I don't."

Zelena sighs, giving in to helping Belle. "That's not necessarily true." Belle looks hopeful. "There may be a way."

At the apartment, Killian is sitting alone at the table, flipping through the storybook.

David walks out of the bathroom, seeing the frustration on Killian's face. "Anything?"

Killian shakes his head. "Just that Auntie Em died in Kansas - no details, not a clue."

David takes his jacket off in anger. "I can't believe it has to be me. Snow should be home." He says without a doubt. "She should be with our boy. She should be going. She missed this time with Avia, and now it's happening all over again."

"Well, if you consider Avia, she missed this time with Emma as well." Killian points out.

David sighs, heavily. "We missed so much with all three of our children. We shouldn't be here."

"You're right. You shouldn't be here. It should have been easier to save your daughter and for all of us to leave the moment we did. But, unfortunately, Hades refuses to make anything easy. Your children are lucky to have parents like you, who are willing to cross into the Underworld to save their life. Some kids aren't that lucky." Killian shrugs. "But, look, mate, your name's not on the headstone. You can go. Ruby is your ticket out of here. You have to take it. And you have to be grateful that at least your children have at least one parent with them than not at all."

David sighs, knowing Killian's right. "I wish it didn't have to be like this, but you're right. I just hope we can help Ruby."

Oz / Some time ago...

"The poppy field." Dorothy says, as she and Ruby walk into the field that they were looking for. "This is Zelena's territory. We need to be careful." Ruby stays silent and continues to walk with an anxious look upon her face. "I'm sorry."

"For what?" Ruby asks.

"Calling you 'Wolfie.'" Ruby chuckles. "If I had known - "

"No." Ruby interrupts. "It's okay. I actually kind of like it. But I do think it's only fair that I get to give you a nickname, too."

Dorothy nods, amused. "Really?"

"Really." Ruby smiles. "How about 'Kansas'?"

Dorothy laughs. "Alright, Wolfie, Kansas it is." Ruby goes to grab the poppy seed. "Careful." Dorothy stops her. Ruby looks down at Dorothy's touch, both feeling something. "One sniff of that, and we'll be snoozing all night." Dorothy quickly tells her before picking up one herself.

"Thanks." Ruby smiles, bashfully.

Dorothy hands over the poppy just as they hear screeching from the distance. They look up and see two flying monkeys flying towards them. "Zelena - she found us!"

"There's more on the way."

They begin to run through the field. "We'll never outrun them."

"Well, sure we can." Ruby stops running, looking back at Dorothy.

"How?"

"Do you trust me?"

"Uh - " Dorothy looks back at the flying monkeys before looking back at Ruby. "Yes." Ruby's eyes glow green as she begins to take off her cloak, transforming into her wolf form. Dorothy just stands in shock. "Oh." She says, amazed. Ruby, in wolf form, slowly walks towards her as Dorothy grabs the red cloak.

The flying monkeys are flying closer and faster, but with Dorothy now on Ruby's back, they are running much faster than they were before. They run into the woods, causing the monkeys to stop, unable to fly through, losing them.

Back at their campsite, Mulan turns around when she hear footsteps, seeing Ruby in wolf form, and Dorothy walking towards her.

"What happened?" She asks.

"Zelena." Dorothy reveals. "We were almost monkey chow." She then places the red cloak over the wolf, transforming Ruby back into her human form.

Ruby stands up, breathing heavily. "Are you okay?" She asks Dorothy. But Dorothy, instead, slowly walks past Ruby suddenly speechless. "Dorothy?"

"Yeah." Dorothy finally answers. "I'm just...tired. Maybe it was all the poppies. I'm gonna get some shut eye."

She quickly walks away, only causing Ruby to look down, feeling as if she just lost a friend because of who she is.

Underworld / Present...

Ruby and the others walk into the diner where the Blind Witch is waiting for them. She sniffs the air, standing in front of Ruby.

"Sorry, no dogs allowed." She says, smugly.

"No one talks to me like that in my diner." Ruby glares.

"It's not yours, dear, not yet."

"There's a tombstone in the cemetery - " Emma begins, getting to the point of why they are there. " - Emily Brown. Why don't you make this easy and tell us where to find her?"

"What do I get out of it?" The Blind Witch asks, unwilling to help that easily.

"The wolf keeps her cloak on." Regina smiles. "Unless you want to start putting your customers on the menu."

Ruby slowly begins to take off her cloak. "Fine." The Blind Witch gives in. "I know her."

"Yeah?"

"Yeah." The Blind Witch grimaces. "I hate that Auntie Em."

"Why's that?" Snow asks.

"She's the competition."

Over at another diner - a much bigger diner - the group walks in quickly being welcomed.

"Welcome to Auntie's." Auntie Em says, loudly. "The potpies are my own family recipe, but we do a good roasted chicken, too. Rotisserie - any way you want."

"Well, children aren't on the menu." Karley says. "So, I guess that's a good sign."

"But the soup, well, the soup is to die for. Unless you're already dead. Then it's, uh - well, you know what I mean."

"We're trying to help Dorothy." Emma quickly says before she can be interrupted by Auntie.

Auntie Em looks surprised by the mention of her niece. "You know my Dorothy?"

"Yes."

"She's not down here, is she?"

"No, she's alive." Ruby assures her. "But she needs your help."

"She needs true love's kiss." Emma explains, placing the vile from the Blind Witch in front of the woman. "All you need to do is blow a kiss into the bottle."

"Maybe helping Dorothy is your unfinished business." Snow says, hopeful. "Maybe that's why you're down here."

Auntie Em takes the vile and starts to blow a kiss into it until her hand begins to shake causing her to turn to liquid. She drops the vile, shattering it on the ground, confusing everyone as they look on helplessly. "What's happening!?"

"Emma, what did you do?" Avia exclaims.

"Can somebody help her?" Ruby shouts.

"Emma." Snow calls out to her daughter.

"I didn't do anything." Emma says, shocked.

"No!" Auntie Em shouts as her liquid forms begins to melt to the ground. "No."

"Somebody do something." Ruby begs. But Auntie Em liquefies to the ground, no longer alive to help them.

"What the hell was that?" Regina asks.

"I don't think the soup agreed with her." A voice says from behind. They all turn to see Hades sitting in a booth, eating.

"You did this." Emma accuses.

Hades looks around at the group. "Mm. Guilty." He stands up from the booth. "A little water from the River of Souls gives the soup a little something... special."

"Why would you hurt her?" Snow exclaims, furiously. "She was just a sweet old lady."

"Mm. Isn't it obvious? Because you're trying to help her."

"And Dorothy, who happens to be Zelena's sworn enemy." Regina points out. "Did she put you up to this?"

"Trust me, she has no idea I'm here." Hades assures them. "But this is about so much more than just your sister. Let's call it a teachable moment."

"You wouldn't be here unless you were scared we might actually win this fight." Emma says, knowingly.

Hades laughs, clearly amused. "Yes." He says, stepping up to Emma. "Is that so, Savior?" He walks past Emma and grabs a napkin from a tray. "Because I don't think Dorothy's dear old aunt - " He drops the napkin on the liquid and begins wiping it up with his foot. " - would agree with you." He then picks up the wet napkin and then a jar and wrings the liquid into it. "Citizens of the Underworld, from now on, this is what happens to anyone who deals with these so-called heroes. So, who's next in line for their help?" The group of women just look at the man in disgust as everyone else in the diner looks away. "No? Mm. It's hard to be a savior when no one wants you to save them." He whispers, menacingly to Emma.

He walks past a furious Emma, and smiles at Avia, who looks away and stands closer to Snow, who doesn't take her furious eyes off the evil man as he walks out of the diner.

Oz / Some time ago...

At the campsite, Ruby is sitting quietly by herself, still wondering what she did wrong with Dorothy, when Mulan walks up.

"I gave the vial of powder to Dorothy." Mulan tells her. "We attack at first light."

"Good." Ruby says, somberly.

"Good." Mulan repeats. "That doesn't sound like a very convincing battle cry." She could see something was wrong with her friend, so she sits down next to her. "Ruby, what's going on?"

"When we were on our trek, Dorothy asked me what I've been looking for this whole time. And I told her that I didn't know."

"Well, do you?"

Ruby sighs. "I think - I think that I've been looking for someone like her." She finally admits out-loud, causing a smile on Mulan's face. "And I know we just met, but I have never felt like this about anyone before."

Mulan smiles, widely. "That's great." But Ruby still didn't seem happy. "So, what's wrong?"

"You saw how she looked at me when I transformed. She couldn't barely bring herself to say anything."

"Maybe she was feeling exactly what you were." Mulan shrugs. "Maybe she didn't know how to put it into words."

"Maybe she was just freaked out. Maybe it was all too much for her."

"Ruby. Don't make the same mistake I did. Don't wait until it's too late to tell someone how you feel."

Ruby sighs, shaking her head slightly, unsure of what she should do. "You really think I should?"

Mulan nods, looking back at the cottage Dorothy was currently resting in.

The door of the cottage swings open, and Ruby walks in only to see that no one is there. The bed is empty and the only thing that is left is a blue and white ribbon that belongs to Dorothy. With saddened eyes, Ruby grabs the ribbon and looks around the empty room.

Underworld / Present...

Inside the diner, Ruby is looking out the window in the back of the diner when Snow rushes in.

"There you are." Snow says, relieved to find her friend. "Hey, it's not safe here."

"What are we gonna do now, Snow?" Ruby asks.

"What we always do - find a way to fix things."

"But no one can wake Dorothy up now."

"Well, I mean, I don't think that's entirely true." Snow whispers.

Ruby looks confused by this. "Well, who else can give her true love's kiss?"

Avia then walks in with a smile on her face. "You."

Ruby furrows her brows looking between a smiling Snow and Avia. "What?"

Avia walks up and sits down with Snow on the bench as they smile up at Ruby. Snow places her arm around Avia, bringing her in. "It only took Mom, like - " Avia rolls her eyes. " - a couple hours to figure it out - " Snow playfully nudges her daughter, causing her to laugh. " - but I figured it out the second Regina handed you the silver slippers."

"Ruby, you're my best friend. The godmother to my beautiful daughters. I know you." Snow says. "And I see how worried you are. You can tell me. You can tell us."

Ruby looks down, bashful, before looking back at Avia and Snow, smiling. "You're right. You both are." She glares at Avia, who laughs.

"So, why are you standing here?" Snow asks, excitedly. "Why aren't you on the way to Oz?"

"True love is a two-way street, and Dorothy, I don't think feels the same."

"Why? Did she tell you that?" Avia wonders.

"Well, she kind of bailed on me back in Oz." Ruby says, sadly.

"So? Love's - Love's a funny thing." Snow says. "When I met Charming, I hit him in the face." Ruby smiles, remembering that. "People in love hurt each other all the time."

"Yeah, maybe." Ruby says, still feeling unsure. "Maybe." She also didn't want to get hurt again. "But, uh, it's just - " She sighs. " - I've never been so scared about anything before."

"That's a great sign 'cause love is freaking scary." Snow admits. "I'm about to say goodbye to David for what might be a really, really long time." Avia looks down, knowing it's her fault. "And you know why I'm okay with it?" She asks, squeezing Avia closer. "Because what you get back when you love someone far outweighs the risk."

"Alright, I'll - I'll try." Ruby sighs.

Avia looks up at her mom with a smile, as Snow smiles back, placing a gentle kiss to her daughter's temple.

Back at the graveyard, Ruby places the blue and white ribbon over Auntie Em's tombstone. She takes a deep breath, looking at the others.

"Whew. Ready." She tells them.

Regina walks up, handing her the silver slippers. "Put these on. Think of where you want to go. Then click your heels three times. David, you should take her hand and hold tight."

Snow looks up at her husband. "So, I guess this is goodbye." He says. Snow jumps into his arms, wrapping her arms tightly around his neck, causing him to laugh. "We have done this before, we can do it again." David reminds her.

"When you get home, tell Neal that I will be there as fast as I can." Snow tells him.

David takes Snow's hands into his own. "Well, I was actually hoping that you could tell him that for me."

"David, you know I can't leave."

"Now you can."

"What?"

"I removed your name from the headstone." Killian says, surprising them.

"Am I missing something?" Regina asks, perplexed. "Emma already tried that."

"Yeah, and it didn't work." Emma confirms.

David turns to his daughters. "Because you tried to erase the names." He leads them to the tombstones. "The rule down here is simple - a life for a life." David shows them what used to be Snow's tombstone but, thanks to Killian, her name is scratched out and David Nolan is in her place. "So, I traded mine for yours."

"David!" Snow exclaims, unhappily.

"No, no. Hey." He says, forcing Snow to look at him. "If one of us gets to go home and see our son, it should be you."

"How did you know to do this?" Emma asks Killian.

"Simple, love." Killian says, taking her hand, as he looks over at Avia.

Avia shrugs. "Me."

They all turn to Avia, shocked by this. "What?" Emma exclaims.

"Avia, how - " Snow stammers.

Avia reaches down and pulls up her pants legs, revealing the dagger Hades had enchanted. "Um. When Hades had me locked up, I took this when his back was turned. I was too afraid to use it, but then I remembered he enchanted it to carve these markings in the first place. I told Killian and he did it for me." She looks at her parents with tearful eyes and a soft smile. "I can't erase the names, but I can change them."

"Our girl is smart." David grins, turning from Avia, and looking back at Snow. "Just like her mother. Come on. Our boy waits for you."

"Um - " Snow stops him. "I was ready for you to go."

"No, it's better this way. You can look after him, and if Storybrooke's in trouble, there's no better leader than Snow White."

Avia steps up to Emma, who is also watching her parents with tearful eyes. "Emma and I have had you for awhile." She tells their mother. "Now, it's Neal turn. Emma and I know how it feels to need our mom and not have her. We don't want Neal to feel that way., too, when he can have you."

"You can still have me." Snow says, firmly.

Emma nods, placing her arm around Avia. "We will."

"Go to our son." David tells his wife. "I'll look after our girls. We'll be back before you know it."

Emma steps up to Snow. "Mom, I'm not very good at goodbyes." She admits.

"No." Snow says, bringing Emma into her arms. "It runs in the family." She says, solemnly, placing a kiss onto her daughter's cheek.

"Snow, while you're up there, will you look in on Roland for Robin Hood?" Regina asks. "I know he'd want me to ask you that."

"Of course." Snow nods. "Tell him not to worry." She lets out a long sigh before turning to her youngest daughter. She nods for Avia to come closer. Avia allows her tears to fall the moment as she runs into her mom's arms. "I don't have to go." She whispers into Avia's ear, knowing how much her daughter needs her, too.

"Neal needs you." Avia says into her mom's shoulder. "Don't let him wonder where you are like I had to."

Tears fall as Snow closes her eyes at her daughter's words. She then pulls away, placing her hands onto her daughter's cheeks. "My brave girl." Snow grabs her bow and arrows from around her shoulders and places them onto Avia's.

"Mom - Wait - Wha - "

"You need these more than I do." Snow interrupts. David smiles proudly, knowing Avia has learned from the best and is just as good as her mother. Snow leans in, pressing a long, loving kiss on her daughter's cheek. "I love you, Avia. And I will see you soon, okay?"

With trembling lips, Avia stares at her mom. "I love you, Mom. Thanks for saving me." She chuckles, shrugging sheepishly.

"No. Thanks for saving me."

Avia couldn't take it anymore, she looks away from Snow and attaches herself to Emma, allowing her parents to say goodbye. Snow places her hands onto David's cheeks, and reaches up, placing a gentle, passionate kiss onto his lips. She then backs up, wiping away her tears. "Ready?" She asks Ruby.

Snow turns back to her family. David steps back and wraps his arms around his daughters, both leaning into his chest as they watch their mom and Ruby. "Let's go find Dorothy." Ruby says. She begins to click her heels three times, and soon enough she and Snow disappear, finally escaping the Underworld.

Inside Hades' lair, he stands over the Sea of Lost Souls, opening the jar of liquid that used to be Aunt Em. He sniffs it, sighing happily, until a voice interrupts.

"Hello, Hades."

Hades turns to find Zelena. "Zelena. Well, you're the last person I expected to show up here."

"Little chat with the bookworm made me realize - " She shrugs. " - maybe I haven't given you a fair chance."

"Well, you're just in time to see this." Hades shows her the jar of liquid. "Auntie Em. Freshly bottled today."

"All that trouble to punish one moldy old aunt."

"Well, with the old lady done, Dorothy has no one, and I know how much you hate that girl."

Zelena's face falls as she remembers the last time she spoke or seen Dorothy. "She came to my chamber." Zelena recalls. A curtain falls from the cage of where Toto is being held. Dorothy runs through on the search for the Wicked Witch. "She tried to make me take a nap." Zelena appears in back of her, frightening Dorothy. She quickly uses her magic to freeze Dorothy. "So I did something much worse." Zelena grabs the poisonous needle and pricks Dorothy's finger, causing her to fall unconscious. "Dorothy's gonna be asleep forever. What do you get out of it?"

Zelena watches as Hades pours the liquid of Auntie Em into the sea. "Other than your happiness? Hm, nothing."

"Really?" Zelena chuckles lightly, obviously impressed by this. "This was all for me?"

"I know this is hard for you to believe, but that's why I did it." Hades sets the jar down and walks closer to Zelena. "To show you it's possible to be selfless. You're scared I'm going to disappoint you, aren't you?"

Zelena exhales sharply, looking the man over. "Terrified." She admits. "I think that's a chance I'm just going to have to take."

"Let's start - " Hades smiles, turning to grab two glasses of wine, handing one over to Zelena. " - by toasting to Dorothy's eternal slumber." Unbeknownst to them that Dorothy is fully awake thanks to Ruby.

Upstairs, inside the apartment, Nick and Avia are looking down in the storybook, seeing that everyone lived happily ever after in Oz.

"She did it." Avia smiles. "Now, what?"

Nick grabs his enchanted pen, and smiles at Avia. "Now, I write."

He goes to write, but Avia suddenly grabs his hand. "Wait."

Nick furrows his brows. "What is it?"

Avia takes a deep breath, letting it out slowly. "Something I should have gave into a long time ago." She slowly leans in and kisses Nick gently on the lips.

Nick quickly backs away, surprised by this. "You didn't - "

"I wanted to." Avia shrugs. "Unless - "

"No. No. I wanted to, too." Nick assures her.

Avia smiles. "Okay. Good." She laughs, lightly. "Then I guess I'll leave you to it."

Nick watches as Avia stands up and begins to walk out the door. He sighs happily, before looking back at the book and begins to write, trailing the pen over the page with ease.

"After what Hades did, we have to hit back and hard." Emma says as she sits down at the kitchen table with Killian, Regina, and Michael.

Avia walks down just in time to hear it. "Aye, love, but how?" Killian asks.

Avia walks over to her dad, who is sitting quietly at the bar, thinking about Snow. "I thought you should see that Ruby woke up Dorothy and Mom is back with Neal." She tells him.

David smiles, caressing his daughter's cheek. "Thanks, kiddo. Now, let's go figure out how to join them." He grabs Avia's hand and leads her to the table.

"What is it?" Emma asks.

"Snow - she made it." David tells them, sending a smile to Emma's face.

Over at Gold's shop, Rumple is in the back of his shop doing some research of his own when he hears the bell above the door ring.

Belle walks in and Rumple looks relieved to see her. "Belle, where have you been?"

"Trying to find a way to fix your mistake." Belle tells him.

"So have I. Doing research - this is gonna take some time." He says, looking into a book.

"Which is exactly what we don't have. Hades can take our baby whenever he wants to just like Emma did to Zelena."

"Well, I won't let that happen."

"I can't take the chance that you'll stop him in time, not when there's a way that I can pause everything - " She shows Rumple the needle Zelena used on Dorothy. " - even my pregnancy."

Rumple slams the book closed and walks towards his wife, knowing exactly what it is. "Where did you get that?"

"From Zelena, but don't worry. The sleeping curse, it'll halt everything." Rumple attempts to take it with his magic, but Belle steps back, moving it away, threatening to prick her finger. "I can prick my finger quicker than you can stop me." Rumple slowly pulls back, knowing she's right. "As long as I'm asleep, Hades can't take the baby, and you'll have all the time you need to destroy the contract."

"Belle, you're only gonna make things worse." Rumple disapproves.

"I'm doing what I need to to protect our child." She scowls.

"There's only one way out of a sleeping curse - true love's kiss." He reminds her.

"I know."

"You think this is gonna force me to become the man you want me to be?" Rumple questions. "To go back to the light just to wake you up? My love, I already told you - I'm not that man."

"No. I know. You're not the one who's going to wake me, Rumple. My father is."

"Oh, no, Belle, please don't - don't - "

"After you destroy the contract, you do whatever it takes to get me back to him." And with that, Belle pricks her finger, and she instantly falls down, unconscious.

"No!" Rumple shouts, catching her before she can reach the ground. "Oh, Belle. Belle." He places her on the ready-made cot. "Oh, no." He looks her over seeing the the sleeping curse took affect. "Belle, no."
