"... hmm..."
Mirii was holding her smartphone, while staring at the screen. The screen was showing a series of words: soon, her thumb was sliding on the screen, as more words were scrolling from below.
"... nothing..." Her eyes looked past the screen, noticing the written word on the painting's back. "I don't understand a thing about this..."
Her eyes returned onto the screen, as her thumb scrolled the screen some more.
"This language is... ... I-I don't even..." Her hands grabbed her smartphone, grasping it tightly and shaking it violently, while her eyes went watery and her irises shrunk a little.
"Uh... having trouble?"
Mirii's irises jerkily turned over her right side: Greta was looking back at her with her hands on her sides.
"... that's the face of someone who needs some help." Her right hand went off her right side, waving it a bit around. "Are ya sure you"
"NO COMMUNICATION SYSTEM WILL DEFEAT PERFECTION!" Mirii was showing her shaking fist in front of her friend, while the other one was strangling the smartphone.
Greta sighed.
"Have you asked Silin to... I don't know, translate that thing for us?"
...
"... but that would" Mirii shook her head visibly. "Not now! There is an urgency to fulfill!"
Mirii cleared her voice, as her head lowered and her eyes closed.
"... Silin."
"Yes?"
Mirii's eyes semi-opened.
"... do you happen to..." She whispered.
"Uhm? You said?"
Mirii shook her right fist.
"Do you... do you happen to know how to translate foreign languages into ours...?!"
"... I will talk about it with Fara."
"Didn't she heard anything?!" Mirii's eyes popped out.
"Mirii is asking if we have a power who can let her translate foreign languages."
"Yes, I heard it too."
"... do we have something like that? I mean, I understand we could improve Mirii's skills with"
"We can help Mirii out, yes."
"... really?!"
"Yes! There is a way."
"I can't believe this... tell me then!"
"It's a bit complicated... first things first, Mirii must reach a room where she is completely alone. Once she is alone, we will start transfering all the knowledge we have inside her mind... and ultimately, we will help her."
"Why she needs to be alone...?"
"Because you and me will whisper to her... and such operation requires a lot of loneliness and protection, as we would put Mirii in a very sensible situation..."
"... have you seen the unknown characters?"
"Sure I did! We are both connected to her same sight, so we are able to see what she sees... to be more accurate, I just happen to know how to do it and thus I was able to reach said results, probably thanks to my capabilities of evolution."
"... I-I didn't understand as much as I wanted to, but... ... but never mind! Mirii has to reach another room and be alone."
"Exactly."
"I will make sure she will do just that, then. ... ... Mirii?"
"Uhm?" Mirii's arms folded, as her head rose.
"I found out what to do."
"... you have a solution...?" Mirii's eyes squeezed a little.
"Yes! Apparently, we can help you know about any foreign language, as long as you are alone in a room."
"Why would I be alone in this supposed room?" Mirii frowned a bit.
"Because we will start a magical process who will turn you very susceptible or something like that... we two need a lot of time for the operation to be successful."
"... I see..." Mirii's head rose. "I have no choice... I must go in this room and start the process, if I want to save those innocents once and for all...!"
"So... what have you decided?" Hun's mouth stretched over his right side.
"I decided to follow the requirements, Hunley." Mirii began walking past everyone. "And in order to do as such, I must reach a room all alone and perform a ritual with Silin."
"Are ya sure you want to do this?!" Greta opened her arms widely. "Do you even know where to go or something?!"
Mirii reached the room's entrance.
"... guard this room." Her head turned her head over her left side. "And while you are at it, find that darn puzzle piece."
"You and your games!"
Ana had black smokes coming out of her head, as she was following Nick walking down the corridor.
"If you didn't encouraged her to play hide and seek or whatever thing you made her do... she wouldn't be encouraged to visit any other room whatsoever."
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry!" Nick had sweat jumping off his head. "Don't be so mad at me...!"
"Uuuuugghh!" Ana threw her arms towards him. "Forget about it...!" Her eyes rolled. "As long as you find her, everything should be fine."
"Sigh... where is she...?" Nick bended himself forward, albeit the movement were small and short.
Suddenly, a cheerful laughter was filling the air, albeit its voice volume was also low.
Nick dashed after the voice, eventually finding the room whose laughter was the highest.
"She must be here!" Nick pushed the door, tilting it until it was almost touching the other side of the wall.
As soon as he entered, he noticed Zira holding a pair of black glasses in front of her eyes.
"Tee hee hee!" The girl moved her head left and right. "It's soooo crazy! I love it!"
Nick stood there, watching... Ana scowled a lot, now standing on his right side.
"What is she wearing?!" She sprinted past Nick, as her arms stretched towards her. "Get them off, get them off!"
She arrived in front of her friends, as her hands were holding the cursed goggles.
"Tee hee hee!" Zira's head turned left and right. "This game is amazing!"
Ana grabbed the goggles, as she pulled and pulled... but those were simply stuck in front of Zira's eyes.
"Snap out of it, Zira!" Ana grabbed the girl's shoulders, shaking her back and forth with strength. "Come on!"
"Tee hee hee...! ... so... immersive!" Zira grinned.
"Darn it!" Ana stomped the floor. "What are we gonna do?!"
"Maybe..." Nick looked at the laptop sitting on the desk. "... that laptop can help us...?"
