Thank you for the comment, Darth Nominatis!
I know those series already. None of them bring me any interest, nor any inspiration.

"Tee hee hee!"
Kelly was bouncing around the three walking Inklings, who were talking with each other. The sidewalk was mostly empty, with the occasional Inkling or humanoid jellyfish coming by.
The road had cars and other vehicles roaming on the asphalt nearby.
"How is the treehouse?!" Kelly began walking backwards, while shaping her mouth as a small w and facing Greta. "Is it fuuun?"
Greta laughed loudly.
"You bet!" The tallest girl winked on her right eye, while grinning for a brief while. "That was our cool playground"
Suddenly, a fast attack hit Greta's left side: the girl twisted her head towards the source of the attack, only to find a frowning Mirii.
"... eh eh..." Greta's eyelids lowered to the middle. "Someone here is a lil' shy..."
"Uh-uhm?!" Mirii blushed a bit.
"You know..." Greta's hands clasped together, as they went near her left cheek. "I remember so well how shyer you were the first times we met..."
"Wh-what are you talking about...?!" Mirii's blush got a little bigger.
"Reeeeaaalllyy?!" Kelly grinned a bit, as she now bounced in front of Mirii and walked backwards. "How cute!"
"Sh-shut up..." Mirii's eyes squeezed fully.
"I remember that Mirii almost got used to our crazy style of ours." Greta began looking at the sky. "She was bustin' some"
"QUIET!" Puffs of smoke came out from Mirii's ears, as her face was red and her frown got bigger. "YOU AND THAT BIG MOUTH OF"
Greta's right forefinger went in front of the shorter girl's mouth.
"Now now..." She stuck out her tongue for a moment. "Shouting in front of the public isn't"
"Leave me alone, Greta!" Mirii dodged the finger, as she stated at her friend normally.
"Uff..." Greta's mouth shaped as a vertical 3, while her eyes turned into lines. "I know that deep in your heart, you are just like us two..."
"Hmpf!" Mirii's head rose. "Your pathetic wish is nothing but a result of"
"Ooooohh, I could awake Mirii's unconscious side..." Kelly covered her mouth with her hand, as she giggled and semi-opened eyes aimed over the left side of Mirii's chest.
"D-don't you dare!" Mirii frowned at Kelly. "Y-you could"
All the sudden, Kelly's left hand palm went over Mirii's heart. Greta and Carlson opened their mouths widely!
Kelly was pronouncing unknown words... but Mirii pushed the youngest Squid's hand away.
"Too late!" Kelly danced while walking backwards. "I performed the ritual!"
"D-did you awaken Mirii's unconscious side...?!" Greta's eyes sparkled.
"Tee hee!" Kelly winked at Greta. "I used a technique I learned the other day!"
"Oooh..." Greta stared at Mirii. "M-my dear friend..."
Mirii's hands were on her heart...
"... Kelly..."
"Hmmmm?" Kelly grew her w-shaped mouth.
"... whatcha have done with mah beat-beat?!" Mirii scowled back at her.
...
"Wh-what did my wonderful ears just heard...?!" Greta's curled hands went in front of her mouth.
"Quit it, ya mouthling giant!" Mirii aimed her right forefinger at Greta. "Yo know I hate sugary-sugar stuff!"
"Whoa, like..." Carlson blushed a bit. "... Mirii got like 100 times better than"
"What did ya said, Mr. TooMuchHeight?!" Mirii growled at the boy.
"... like, what?" A sweat drop appeared on his head's right side.
"Ya phoned me with THAT classy name?!" Mirii grimaced. "Name's Mi, Bars!"
...
"Y-you like th-that nickname...?!" Greta was almost crying.
"My fresh name, ya mean!" Mirii snorted, as she shook her head. "Yo two got old for this shit..."
"Oh my turfness!" Greta grabbed Kelly with both her arms, hugging her and tearing a lot. "You have done the impossible!"
"Tee hee hee!" Kelly squeezed her eyes. "... I don't like her unconscious side, though..."
"What the turf?!"
Kelly reopened her eyes, watching Mirii touching her own ears.
"Vanilla ears?! That suuucks!" The stared girl lowered her head. "Man, gotta super-jump in a shop or somethin' and gear up."
"Later on we will!" Greta grinned widely.
"Huh?!" Kelly twisted herself towards Greta. "But Mirii is"
"This is the Mirii I always dreamed of!" Greta laughed. "She is like my young sis who kicks bass and takes names!"
"Was I different?" Mirii squeezed her eyes a bit. "... did I had... some sort of turfin' mask or what?"
"Bu-but Mirii is much worse!" Kelly's mouth downturned, as sweat jumped out of her head.
"MI!" The girl aimed her right forefinger at Kelly. "Get it right, kid!"
"You will get used to her..." Greta freed Kelly, as she observed Mirii back. "Besides, I could bet mah tentacles that Mirii will be much more optimistic about Hunry and"
"Hold that tentacle!" Mirii threw her arms down. "I ain't happy about what they did to Hunley, ya got it?!"
"Yeah yeah, I know that well!" Greta nodded, while her eyebrows lowered and her smile grew. "Ya wanna kick the ship out of whoever kidnapped"
"I would turfin' take a ship on their turfin' heads, then I would turfin' bake 'em in the turfin' oven and throw ink-dynamite while it's all heated up!" Veins popped out from Mirii's forehead.
"Whoooaaa, whoooaaa there!" Greta snickered. "You are makin' me fall in fangirlism if ya keep the groove up!"
"No jokin' around, Ms. ShabbyShab!" Mirii waved her right forefinger in front of her friend. "Even though I don't know the turf is goin' on with me, I still know the jazz behin' our casual."
"Yeeeaaahh, we gotta super-jump back to the tree's and get ship done." Greta rubbed her own hands.
"Like, is it da time?" Carlson scratched the back of his head. "Shouldn't we super-jump... now?"
"Absolutely!" Greta rose her forefinger.
"What casual means?" Kelly's mouth opened widely.
"Walk." Greta chuckled. "Mirii got down all our tubular vocabulary during her days with us."
"Get down in your butt and spring!" Mirii turned into a Squid. "I got da feeling that the tree's is like near and ship."
"Aye aye, ma'am!" Greta also turned into a Squid.
Mirii super-jumped away from her spot, flying in the air.
The Inklings had their heads inclined upwards, as they were facing a tall tree who had a house near its top.
"Well, well..." Greta's eyelids lowered to the middle. "Looks like we gotta climb this baby up once more."
"Where is that robo-thingy?" Mirii folded her arms. "That inky beast is our only way up to da house."
"Yeah, it's been a while actually..." Greta shrugged. "It had all those problems 'n junk, remembah?"
"Yeah." Mirii's hands went over her sides. "How the turf are we gonna get our tentacles up there?"
"Like, didn't I install a Super-Jump pad...?" Carlson rose his mouth.
"Enough chattin'!" Mirii faced Kelly. "We need your ink, Ms. Dancy."
"... uhm..." Kelly's mouth downturned.
"... what's that 'uhm'?" Mirii sighed. "Ya can't be a bringer of bad news, all the sudden!"
"... I-I don't know if I should keep this side of you, Mirii..." Kelly's knees touched, as sweat emerged from her forehead. "It's... well..."
"She's like us!" Greta stepped in front of Kelly, as she bended her knees and smiled. "Rough on the outside but diamonds on the inside!"
Kelly's face didn't alter.
"... I think I know her gist..."
Kelly's mouth opened, while observing Mirii raising her eyebrows.
"I was different than this, huh?" Her head shook. "Ya got used to my weakly self..."
"Y-you weren't weak!" Kelly frowned a little, as her fists rose a bit.
"Nah." Mirii's head shook. "She's missin' that oomph that allows her to be... how ya put it?" Her right hand waved over her right side. "Alive?"
"Yep!" Greta grinned widely, as she snapped her finger and pointed her right forefinger at her. "She's usually a long mouth!"
"Yeah yeah, know that well..." Mirii sighed. "Look, we got a job to ace. How 'bout we get things movin'?"
"... I will say this." Kelly nodded. "Your unconsciousness will last for some hours, before your consciousness will resume control over you."
...
"Ya squiddin' me?!" Greta had a stream of tears falling out of her watery eyes, while her hands were grabbing her shoulders. "Why such cruelty?!"
"This is not a choice of mine." Kelly rose her head, while shutting her eyes. "This skill allows anyone to let their unconscious take the place of the conscious and thus, controlling the person for some hours... but once the conscious regains its control, then the skill will become completely useless against them, no matter what."
"S-so... it-it's only a one-time deal..." Greta sniffed.
"Ha!" Mirii folded her arms. "Tough luck, 'conscious' bogus: real Mi is gonna run over your bass with some real pain!"
"Y-you could do that?!" Greta was smiling widely, while her eyes were watery.
"Enough!" Mirii aimed her right forefinger towards the house. "Get us up there, Dancy!"
"I-I'm Kelly!" The young girl puffed her cheeks at Mirii.
"... Kelly, please..." Mirii lowered her head.
"... I could create an ink trail with my brush..." Kelly rose her right arm, as a small brush appeared. "And I will draw you three with the same ink colour as mine."
"So, cyan Squids?" Carlson chuckled. "Rock on, girl!"
A pile of papers appeared on Kelly's free hand, as the Shrine girl began drawing rapidly on the topmost paper.
"Sooooonn... your colours will be cyan!"
Mirii grabbed her right tentacle: the cyan was taking over her previous colour.
"... lock 'n loaded." Mirii smiled.
"What will you do with that brushy brush of yours?" Greta bended herself forward, while her hands grabbed her knees. "You will make it big or somethin', huh?"
"Tee hee hee!" Kelly's brush grew size, as the girl put its tip down. "I can run up walls... but I'm not as good as Master Hun, so I soooo hope I can make it!"
"Give it a whirl, Ke'." Mirii bended her knees.
"Ke'?!" Kelly's eyes puffed.
"... what about this one?" Mirii's head rose. "Nailed it?"
"... Kelly." The shortest girl stuck out her tongue, as she began rushing towards the tree with her brush down.
Her brush slid up on the wooden surface, as Kelly was now running up against the wall! Mirii dashed, as she jumped, turned into a Squid and dived on the cyan ink trail left behind by Kelly's brush.
She swam as rapidly as possible, climbing on the surface: the other two Inklings were already following her, sliding along the freshly-made ink trail.
