Thank you for the reviews, Hun x Mirii 3 and for your comment, Darth Nominatis!
Darth Nominatis: As I said before, I can't make any fanfic about this series. Even with your idea, it still doesn't give me any inspiration at all.
Hun x Mirii 3: Welcome back! I totally agree with the Hun x Mirii couple! Also, Mirii's unconscious self is so different from the conscious self, right? I also don't like her form... but I say that as a reader of this story and not as the writer! Hopefully they will find Hun soon... I wonder where he went?
Alright! To all readers, send in a review or leave in a favorite/follow if you are liking the story so far!
"No!" Carlson turned over his right side, while his teeth gritted. "It can't be!"
Stinglings were aiming their weapons towards the lone boy.
BZAP!
"Barsyyy!" Greta giggled, as she hugged him from behind. "Thank turfness we made it aliiii" Her head turned over her right side. "iiiiivvee..." Her face went paler.
BZAP!
"The turfin' teleporter curled mah tentacles!"
Mirii was walking towards the two, while her left hand was sliding along the left tentacle.
"Piece of ship of a technology..." Her head looked forward. "... wait, what kind of map is this?"
She stopped once near the two Inklings: her right hand was holding the Charger, while her left hand was grabbing her left side.
"Where the turf are we? This darky-place is like a" She twisted over her right side. "... dump."
"RAISE YOUR HANDS, SQUIDS!" The front-man Stingling aimed his Splattershot-like weapon towards the Inkling group.
"Where is that other one?!" A Stingling woman, positioned behind him, frowned while moving her arms.
"There wasn't another one." The man smiled. "He disappeared, remember?"
Mirii's eyes went wide.
"What's that Splat Bomb now, Mr. Stingy?!" She aimed her weapon towards the man.
"Ha!" His eyes closed. "I thought that Mirii Kelpshell was more clever than that..."
"Is she."
Another Stingling woman marched past everyone, posing in front of the army: she was holding a Blaster-like weapon, while sporting a smug on her face.
"Finally again, we meet." She grinned a little.
"Yo're da newbie who splatted names in mah face!" Mirii rose her left fist, as she frowned a lot. "Ya piece of crab! Ya lookin' for some messings?!"
...
"... different, you sound." A sweat drop grew on the woman's right side of her head. "Front of me, even in."
"The Squids began acting differently than usual..." The man also had a sweat drop near his head. "It all happened when they were heading for the treehouse..."
"Y-you were spying on us?!" Carlson tilted a bit backwards, as sweat covered his forehead.
"They did, ya dum' boy!" Mirii aimed her left forefinger at the woman. "Ya Seekered mah phone call!"
"Ha ha ha! Matter not!" The Stingling woman resumed her smug. "You Mirii Kelpshell, got we still!"
"Eeeeekk!" Greta covered her face on the back of Carlson's shoulders. "I-I don't want to be splatted, B-Barsyyyy...!"
"Ha ha ha ha!" The woman's head rose, as her smug grew. "Me fear, Squids useless!"
"... huh?" Carlson tilted his head a little to the right side. "Are you scared of useless Squids...?"
"Of course not!" The man frowned a lot, while his irises shrunk. "She meant to say 'Fear me, useless Squids!'"
"Said it, did I not?" The woman rose her mouth, as her eyebrows lowered a little.
"Ya talk like a turfin' seapig, ya dirt!" Suddenly, Mirii's hands brought the Splatterscope in front of her face, as she held down the trigger button. "Yo're history now!"
BLAM!
The ink projectile went over the woman's head, as she found her feet stuck on the resting cyan ink below.
The woman yelled incomprehensible words, while stepping away from the ink.
"I'M GONNA CRAB YA" Her weapon went down by a large hand.
Her frown transferred onto the boy's normal stare.
"Mirii!" He bended himself towards her. "Get out of here!"
"Wh-why?!" Mirii blushed a bit.
"You can't use the weapon at all!" He gritted his teeth.
"S-save yourself!" Greta was trembling uncontrollably. "B-Barsy will take care of everything else..."
"You cannot escape, Squids!"
The Inklings looked back at the leading man, who was sporting a neutral face against them.
"We have deactivated the same teleporter you used for your excursion in space!" His read rose.
"Y-you are the ones who changed its system too!" Carlson growled at him. "And I bet you even created one from scratch, so it would bring us in your hideout!"
"... to think you were the idiot of the bunch..." The man squeezed his eyes. "You might be even smarter than Mirii..."
"Shut da fatty mouth, ya big pile of goo!" Mirii pointed her left forefinger at him. "Ya could had snatched our weapons 'n set up Splat Bombs up our basses in our treehouse!"
...
"... Mirii." Carlson sighed, as his eyes closed. "I think they wanted to trick us into thinking that our treehouse wasn't manipulated in any way... if we didn't found our weapons or if we found traps inside, we would immediately think that intruders managed to find our treehouse."
His eyes reopened.
"We wouldn't go inside the teleporter, if we think that strangers infiltrated inside our treehouse..."
...
"... wh-what the turf happened to him?!" Sweat jumped out of the man's head. "He wasn't like that 20 minutes ago!"
"I-I don't know!" Another man from behind spoke. "He was doing nothing in particular, back in the treehouse!"
"So, you spied on us for this whole time..." Carlson lowered his Roller on the floor. "And I bet you intercepted Mirii's phone calls for even longer..."
The leading woman's head began sweating too.
"... still, you wanted to kidnap Mirii, so she would talk about the missing elements who allow you to finally understand the secret being such dark project..." He snorted. "... and this is for what? Fame?! Power?!"
...
"... w-wise words...!" Greta's eyes were watery, as she shaped her mouth as a small w.
"You know that this is not just a huge project who happened to affect many generations...!" He bended himself forward. "This project has secrets too deep and complicated for mere mortals! Even for those who want to gain power from it!"
Mirii's mouth stood open...
"Have you ever wondered how you just happened to replicate this teleporter?! It's something who has been hidden for many years!" Carlson rose his posture. "Who was in charge of such replication?! Do you even know?!"
...
"... y-you..." The man shook himself a bit.
Many Stinglings were shaking as well.
"... you don't, do you?" Carlson shook his head. "You could know... but you also know that it will cost you!" He slid his right foot forward. "Don't you see?! Project Neo is hidden even in front of"
"Enough that's." The leading woman aimed her weapon towards the boy.
"... he has a point, though..."
The man's head lowered.
"... we don't really know much about the teleporter..."
The Inklings watched and heard the words coming out of the man... but all the sudden, a flying paper swung in front of Carlson's face.
His eyes followed the paper... who was depicting a familiar structure. The paper went down, held by Kelly who was smiling and winking at him.
"... th-the Shrine!" His mouth unsealed a bit.
The shortest girl bended her knees down, as she put the paper on the floor. Carlson and Mirii gave a quick stare at each other... before nodding slightly. Greta was observing the paper, while holding the back of Carlson's with her left fist.
"... Greta." He whispered.
"H-huh...?" The called girl looked at the back of the boy's head.
"... follow me."
He turned into a Squid, as he jumped inside the paper. The Stinglings shouted, as they began firing their weapons at them!
Greta quickly dived inside the paper, followed by Mirii. As soon as Mirii dived inside, the goo went through the paper and hit the floor underneath.
The leading woman screamed unknown words at the rest of the Stinglings... but their faces went darker. The woman's face turned paler, as she began stepping backwards.
