OKAY, OKAY, OKAY!

In light of the incredible amount of question that have been sent in by you guys to my PM box, I decided to just go ahead and answered a good few of them at once instead of individually.

Before that though, I wanna say holy hell thanks for the feedback guys. From both reviews and PM's, I'm glad that everyone around the board seems to be happy with Yuria's personality in the chapter. So that a personal accomplishment for me as I never had any intention of adding something like a Darkwraith into the mix of things in the beginning.

BUT ANYWAY, on to the questions.

RavenSouls(Imma be honest, this comment might have been my favorite.)- Forget Oscar x Quelaag, I completely want to see an Oscar x Yuria! Their interaction in this chapter was just perfect, and I could totally see their relationship becoming romantic; something along the lines of Yuria deciding that she's unworthy to be that sort of person to the Prophet... I probably don't need to explain the whole thing, it is YOUR story after all. The other thing I'd like to point out is this: you said that you wanted Oscar to rival the Prophet's strength at any given point, but in the glimpse we catch of Oscar vs. Velka last chapter (or was it further back than that? I have no idea anymore), Oscar got totally destroyed. Meanwhile, we have seen a glimpse of Prophet vs. Velka while he was hollow, not at his full strength and destroying himself with his own pyromancy, and yes Velka was holding back too but it seemed like it was actually a valid challenge - and the Prophet grew a bunch between his encounter with Velka and Oscar's. It seems like he's pretty far behind, and if you want them to be matched then Oscar has a bunch of catching up to do. Like, a BUNCH. Also... I don't think that Mildred belongs in the beginnings of the Way of Blue, but the other three? Definitely. I'd love to see that happen.

All in all, keep up the good work!

My Response- Okay, I know this isn't technically a question, but I can't help but respond to it. Also, this has big answers so strap in boys and girls.

Firstly, regarding Yuria and Oscar, the idea is most definitely a prominent one in my mind. But I want to do my best to keep to the idea that Yuria is absolutely and without question, insane. Every step she takes is "For the sake of my lord", every life she doesn't end is "Because you can be useful to my lord.". She does not see people or things beyond their use towards the Prophet. I haven't gone into fair enough detail with it just yet, but it cannot be understated just how much of a mask the personality of "Yuria" really is. At her core, she's still a Darkwraith. One of the being that makes gods wake up in a cold sweat. The mask of "Yuria" is there to conceal her desires to perform ruthless acts upon the weak and to allow her to get closer to the Prophet himself. For Oscar, I'm not sure there could be a place in that kind of messed of persons mind.

But then again, I kinda take it as a challenge to see if I would be able to make that sort of development happen. Right now, everything still up in the air, so I honestly haven't decided one way or the other.

Secondly, regarding Oscar strength when compared to the Prophets and Velka's, I want to say that at the moment he decided to fight her, Oscar was at his absolute weakest. There was no worst time for him to try and fight the Goddess of Sin than at that moment, but he chose to do it regardless. Giving you guys the most minor of spoilers (Skip this if you don't want that), I plan to make Oscar's journey a sort of mirror flip of the Prophets. Whereas Kaylen Is trapped in the Painted world and trying to escape, I want Oscar to be the one to look at the damage of the world and see the suffering first hand. The Dragon Covenant is one that I think should be focused on being a goddamn monster of a powerhouse. The journey to defeat the holders of scales will be one that finally lets me dig deeper into the outside world beyond Lordran. I want Oscar to have to cut down and brutalize person after person, man after man, woman after woman, all for the goal of growing stronger. I want him to see the ruins of city's, the suffering of children, the hollowing of mothers and fathers, the destruction left in the wake of demons, and I want him to look at it with rage and hatred. Knowing that all of that suffering is because of the gods and their actions. Where the Prophet is the one to fight for something for the future, Oscar is going to be the one seeking vengeance for the past.

By the time he met Velka, Oscar did indeed gather enough scale to put up a fight, but he was literally on his last legs by then. Not gonna spoil exactly what I plan to do with it, but I plan to make Dragon powered Oscar plenty OP on his own.

stormdragon981- Will you include any knowledge about the deep from dark souls 3? Considering that it appears similar to the abyss and has some ocean themes going with it (hint) I think it can add a lot of potential for the story.

My Response- Considering I get question regarding the ringed city a lot, I'll just go ahead and say that Yes I fully plan to incorporate Dark Souls 3, as well as the Ringed City into the story. There is just no way I can pass that sort of game changing information up. I'm particularly interested in whether or not Gwyndolin has any knowledge of the Ringed City or the fact that he has a sister that Gwyn just freaking gave away to a bunch of Pygmy's as a gift. As well as Ornstien knowing of the grave of Artorias and his fate within the abyss. Lot of potential going on there.

Though I will say that I'm not so sure about what I'm gonna do about including things such as the Age of the Deep, as it is not elaborated on very much Lore Wise so I'm not sure what I can do with it.

Jyx the Berserker-First response: glad to know that Yuria and Oscar meeting will be explained, that threw me for a loop. The idea of Quelaag and her sister gettin of humanity is a sad one, but no war is without casualties and there are plenty of dramatic themes and ideas to be explored should Yuria decide to get all handsy with them. If that happens, don't forget about Quelaana sitting outside the boss room invisibly as a witness, or about Eiyngi guarding Quelaag's sister.

Second response: officially hyped for maxed characters, nuff said.

Third response: I love your take on the covenant and Oscar's reputation in it. I think that Oscar doesn't need to become a full dragon for him to be powerful, but he can get REAL close. For instance: impenetrable *stone* scales (stone according to lore, wanted to point that out if you missed it), a form with fully developed wings and a tail (they're decoration in DS1, no use), and maybe the powers of the stones without downsides or cooldowns. It's the endgame, Oscar is going to need to get stronk in order to be of use in defeating literal gods and the best knights in the world. Some things to think about.

PS, Oscar vs. **Dragonslayer** Ornstein is just begging to happen.

My Response- Welp this response is coming in a little so apologies for that. For the first response, I think I'll just say that I have plenty of plans for both Yuria and Oscar along the way together so look forward to that.

For the second response, my man, ya got no idea whats coming for maxed team Prophet. IN FACT, NEITHER DO I!

And finally for the last response, I wanna say that I love you idea of Oscar getting close to a fully formed dragon with impenetrable stone scale. Especially with wings and tail forming as a result of his efforts. In fact, I think I might even take it a step further and give Oscar a sort of illusion form of a dragon like those given in Dark Souls 3 from the twinkling Dragon stones. All I know is that I want my boy Oscar to be like the Doom slayer but for gods. (Of course, not nearly as angry as the actual Doomguy.)

TheFinalSpiderMonkey- Loving the story so far, my man. I gotta say though that careful not to make Priscilla too strong going forward. Wouldn't want her to turn into a macguffin or anything. Also, screw normal relationships, throw the tail in and turn the Prophet into a true man of culture with three woman.

My Response- I'm gonna have to go against ya on this one, my friend. I think the Problem people have with characters like Priscilla is that they don't embrace just how broken and OP her abilities are. As such, I want her Lifehunt ability to be completely unbalanced as far as powers go. Like "What the hell? How can a creature like this exist?", sort of broken. But the focus will be on her coming to term with what she is and accepting herself. Thats where the story and the fun is. Letting her accept her nature, her relationship with Seath and the future she wants for herself should be what makes her a character in Dark Souls and thats where I think the Prophet will have a role to play with her.

As for making the Prophet a man of culture, I'm standing in front of the bridge but damn am I afraid to cross it. There are form of intimacy that diverge from someone simply coming out and saying "I like you.". The Prophet and Priscilla could have a relationship where they acknowledge their attraction but don't act on it, or one that is formed through their environment and facing danger together, or I could just leave them at friends with a specially close relationship.

I don't want to just throw her in just throw her in just because she's a cute dragon woman. So I'm gonna think on it more and decide a bit later. But for now, Its still up for debate.

But It was Me Dio- That reaction with Priscilla was everything I wanted it to be. Well done. I especially like the minor parralel you put forward about her and the Prophet being similar to one another. Are you gonna go a bit further on that because I think that has a lot of potential.

My Response- You're definitely reading my mind on this one, bro. The way I see it, its almost scary just how similar the two are to one another. The only difference I see is that Priscilla chose to remain and accepted her place, while the Prophet chose to just say "To hell with it, this makes no sense, but I'm not gonna go down without at least trying." I fully plan to actually go into detail and make this make more clear in the story, but I definitely am going to make this a theme between the fluffy tailed crossbreed and the Prophet.

PotassiumIsALie- Okay, put something to rest for me, who has the better body in this story Anna, Velka or Priscilla?

My Response- Lol not a PM I was expecting to ever receive but alright, bro. The way I see it Velka is the more toned and curvy one out of the three since she's a warrior. Anastacia has more girth than Velka does, having a great deal more going on in her rear end and innocent actions than anything. And Priscilla has them both beat in both curves and girth, but since she's all big and tall thanks to her dragon genes, I would think she would give a guy a sense of "Oh my god, what do I touch first".

But thats all what I picture in my head, so to each his own. Personally, i laughed pretty loudly when I got this in my email, so thanks for that chuckle, my man.

All right, i think that thats preety much enough feedback answering. Thank you all for the reading the story this far and I'll try to update as soon as my brain manages to overcome the dreaded "Blank Page Word Document."

This is supreme Gamer, signing out.

P.S. I cannot for the life of me find it in my PM inbox, but someone brought something about Solaire getting it on with both Reah and Mildred at the same time. All I gotta say is goddammit, now the idea won't get out of my head. Solaire is the pinnacle of wholesome manliness, but the idea of a cleric and cannibal getting with him brings a smile to my face. Especially the thought of Reah being embarrassed in the aftermath and Vince's reaction to her doing something like that. Its a goldmine of hilarity I tell ya.
