A/N: I apologize that it took me so long to get this chapter up. I've been dealing with a lot of family issues recently, and unfortunately it has left me with little time or desire to work on my writing.

As always, thank you so much to all those who read, following, favorite, private message, and review this crazy story of mine. You guys have no idea how happy it makes me whenever I see that I have a notification in my email from this site. It seriously makes my day! So thank you!

Enjoy?

Cat's New Boyfriend

Part Four

"I can't believe I let you drag me here," I tell Beck as we pull up to Vega's house. "Since when do we listen to anything that Trina says?"

"You felt Andre's feet last night," Beck says, getting out of his car. "So we know that weird fish thing works."

"Yeah, but I feel like there has got to be some nasty side effect or something," I tell him, slamming the passenger side door shut. "Otherwise why isn't this more popular?"

"I dunno," Beck shrugs. "It's probably all the rage in the Amazon or Asia or somewhere."

"Like in places where they use leeches for beauty?" I ask him, raising an eyebrow. "That doesn't exactly make me more confident in doing this."

"Relax Jade," Beck says, and rubs my shoulders gently. "Robbie and Andre both did it a few days ago- and they are fine."

"I still say this is too good to be true," I tell him and bang on the front door.

"Hey Beck!" Trina answers the door with a huge grin at Beck, and as usual she looks right past me.

"Okay, we are here," I nudge my way past her, knocking into her shoulder on the way into the house. "Oh hey," I stop as soon as I see Andre, Robbie, and Rex sitting by a fish tank. "I didn't realize we were going to have an audience."

"What are you guys doing here?" Beck asks.

"Take off your shoes and socks and go sit over on the half wall," Trina says, after Beck gives her a couple twenty dollar bills.

I go over to the half wall and plop down and untie my black boots and take them off.

"Cute socks Jade," Andre smirks, looking at my pale yellow ankle socks that have smiling little avocados all over them.

"Shut up," I tell him as I peel them off and place them inside my boots. I can't believe that I forgot I was wearing them. Beck is used to me wearing stupid cute socks, but it's something that no one else knows about.

"Never thought you were the type to wear anything with smiling cartoon fruit on it Jade," Trina says with a smirk. I roll my eyes and open my mouth to say something snarky back to her, but I feel Beck put his arm onto mine in warning. Instead I simply glare at her until she nervously looks away.

Beck sits down next to me and takes his boots and socks off quickly, and we both glance at each other before putting our feet gingerly on the rim of the fish tank.

"Are you sure that nothing weird is going to happen?" Beck asks. "Jade a little worried that there might be some kind of side effect or something." I glance sharply at Beck, annoyed that he mentioned I was worried about anything.

"Yeah, it's not like, going to make our pee turn green or something weird is it?" I ask, looking at the three of them.

"We all did it, and we're fine," Andre said chuckling. "I promise, no weird colored pee."

"Yeah, quite being a pussy Jade," Rex says, and I bend over, pick up my right boot and chuck it at Shapiro's head.

"Hey!" Robbie yells after ducking. "Why'd you throw it at me? Rex is the one that said it!"

"Robbie, how many times do I have to tell you-"

"Anyway!" Beck squeezes my upper thigh. "What all do we have to do?" he turns to Trina.

"Just put your feet in," she says with a small smile. "The pukka fish will do the rest."

I look over my toes and into the fish tank directly below, letting out a breath. I can't believe that I am about to put my feet into this stupid fish tank.

"Are you sure this is safe?" Beck asks.

"We all did it," Robbie answers, while Trina and Andre nod their heads in agreement.

"Does it hurt?" I wonder out loud. I mean, are these pukka fish like little mini piranhas or what? They look harmless, but that doesn't really mean anything. Maybe they have little minuscule sharp teeth that are hard to see with the naked eye or something.

"Nope!" Robbie says.

"Ohh," I say, a bit disappointed. I was kind of hoping it would feel like mini pinpricks- sort of like getting a tattoo all over the soles of my feet. Beck gives me an odd look and I just shrug my shoulders. It's not like he doesn't know I like a small amount of physical pain sometimes.

"Come on, if you want your feet to feel all baby soft-" Trina starts to say, before being interrupted by Vega Junior.

"Okay" Vega says, stomping down the stairs. "I have left her five voicemails and sent her twelve text messages, why won't Cat talk to me?"

"Cause you squirted hot cheese in her ear!" Andre tells her.

"And played smushy face with her boyfriend," Robbie adds.

"Those things upset some girls," I tell her with a small smirk. I'm glad that Cat isn't in a hurry to accept Vega's apology. It was bad enough when she kissed Beck during improv and had a legitimate excuse- what she did last night to Cat at the Kickback was a million times worse. She deserves to get ghosted by Cat for awhile.

"You wanna try the pukka fish?" Trina asks her.

"You got rice and soy sauce?" Tori inquires.

"No."

"Then no!" Tori stomps off back up the stairs, furiously texting.

After she disappears, everyone starts urging Beck and I to lower our feet into the fish tank. We look at each other and silently shrug, I mean, what's the worst that could happen, right?

Beck and I both yelp when we put our feet into the cold fish tank, but after a moment we both let out content sighs as the fish start to nibble on our feet.

"See?" Trina smugly says.

"It feels good, right?" Andre asks with a grin.

"It feels like-" Beck beings to say.

"It's kind of like, um-" I try to put into words the odd sensation I am feeling.

"Like a million tiny fish kisses?" Rex says, as Robbie thrusts his stupid puppet between us.

"Yeah," both Beck and I agree, and I close my eyes, enjoying the sensation. I've honestly never been a foot person. In general, feet kind of gross me the fuck out. But this is- this just feels ridiculously good and is totally relaxing.

"We've got to get Cat to try this," I say after a couple minutes.

"And you were worried about doing this," Beck nudges me with a smile.

I smile and roll my eyes. "Okay, so maybe I was wrong about this one little thing," I lean my head on Beck's shoulder and lace my fingers through his. "But you realize now that I'm going to have gorgeously soft feet you are going to have to rub them for me sometimes," I smile.

"What will I get in return?" He arches his eyebrows at me.

"You'll just have to wait and see," I whisper into his ear.

"Ugh- get a room!" Andre says, clapping his hands and snapping me out of my tranquil state.

"I've sent her four more texts and messaged her on The Slap, and Cat still won't talk to me!" Tori says, stomping down the stairs again.

I roll my eyes and take my feet out of the fish tank, and Robbie hands me a towel and I begin to dry my feet. "Look Vega, Cat will get over it. You just need to give her some time," I tell her, and put on my socks. I'm not sure why I am actually giving her advice right now. It must be because I am so relaxed from those little flesh loving fish.

"But it's already been a day!" Tori says, frustrated.

"Right, it's only been one day since it all happened. It's absolutely crazy that she doesn't want to be besties with you again. How unreasonable of her to not want to talk to you the next day after she caught you with your tongue down her boyfriend's throat," I roll my eyes in disgust. "You majorly fucked up Vega. It's going to take more than a twenty-four hour period for Cat to forgive you," I tell her, as I lace up my boots.

"Jade, will you help me? Please?" Vega runs up to me and grabs my left arm.

"Don't touch me," I tell her, jerking my arm out of her grasp.

"Please?" Vega pleads.

"Jade's already talked to Cat about it," Beck says, coming up behind me and grabbing hold of my hand.

"I'm doomed," Tori says, dramatically falling onto her sofa and flinging an arm up over her eyes.

"Relax Tori," I find myself saying, and I see Vega move her arm and look at me questioningly. "Just give her a couple more days. I am positive that she'll be talking to you again by Wednesday."

"You really think so?" Vega sits up asking hopefully.

I just look at Tori for a long moment, nod once, and then tug on Beck's hand and I begin to walk to the front door. "Thanks for letting us experience the carnivorous fish," I yell over my shoulder as I walk out the door of the Vega household.

A/N: So, fun fact- minnows will do exactly what the fish in this episode do. And they are absolutely correct in their description of it feeling like tiny fish kisses. I discovered that last summer and the lake. And bonus- you don't get deathly ill from minnows chowing down on your nasty feet skin. Anyway, the more you know...

I think that there is only going to be one more chapter to this episode. I usually break it up into six parts, but I'm kind of at a loss at the moment on how to do that. I also can't wait to start on Freak the Freak Out, which is the next episode.

Please, please send me a review to let me know what you think!
