Description:
These spiky haired teens summon their strongest monsters and provide their best support cards to win the ultimate duel.
Preferred Character:
Grew up with Bakugan, and I cannot hate the first two seasons no matter how cheesy or meh they get at times. Season 3 is meh, and I absolutely loathe 4. And on a similar note, Dan does progressively get less fun and interesting as the series goes on, as does his guardian Bakugan, Drago. Didn't grow up with Yu-Gi-Oh, but I knew about it and it did seem like a pretty cool show. And for the sake of this fight I'm gonna have to get knee deep in it to actually be fair and give Yugi Muto the credit he deserves.
Possible Song Name(s):
Shadow Brawlers
Fiery Duelists
Cards of Fate
For centuries, mankind has told stories of mythical beasts and have hoped to one day control them. Not only have these two accomplished that dream, but they've also literally got the power at their fingertips. Dan Kuso, the #1 Pyrus brawler from Bakugan. And Yami Yugi, the King of Games and champion of Yu-Gi-Oh. And it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor, strengths, and skills to see who would win a death battle.
Dan Kuso
Background:
It was just another ordinary day in the human world, when mysterious cards fell from the sky. And from these cards emerged tiny spheres who seemed to be nothing more than plastic toys. However, as it turned out the cards could actually distort time and space, transporting the holders into an alternate reality where these spheres can achieve their true forms as building sized kaijus of unmatched power. As cool as this was, the kids of the world decided to make a game out of it called Bakugan. And the head honcho of this game was none other than then 12 year old Dan Kuso. While not the best in the world, Dan loved the game and would spend all of his free time playing it, or just talking about it. But unbeknown to the whole world, Bakugan was a much more serious battle than meets the eye. These Bakugan actually came from Vestroia, a set of planets from an alternate dimension of which the door between worlds was opened, letting the creatures fall through into the human's hands. The reason for this was that of a power hungry white dragon named Naga. Attempting to conquer the universe, he sought the power of the very cores of Vestroia. But he couldn't handle all the power and thus was trapped at the very core of the world. But through his power he corrupted a scientist into the devious Hal-G and began creating his own army of mass destruction. Among the few to know about this was a Pyrus Dragonoid. But when portals opened to the human world he landed in the possession of Dan. They got off to a rough start, but after some amends they started wiping the floor with the competition.

Dragonoid, or Drago as Dan calls him, is a Pyrus attributed Bakugan and thus utilizes the power of fire in many ways, specifically to overwhelm the enemy and shut down their defensive options. And with more than 10 different evolutions across his history, he's gathered quite a few tricks up his nonexistent sleeves. He's super strong, tough, and fast, with giant wings for flying and shielding himself from attacks. He's got fireballs, a flamethrower like attack, and a super laser that can be fired repeatedly from his mouth. For defensive means, Drago can create powerful firewalls and fire tornadoes, as well as having the ability to transfer energy from his opponent directly into him. He's got a powerful dive attack, massive explosions, a personal barrier that absorbs energy, and can just beat you down with a series of fast and powerful physical strikes. By manipulating his own energy, Drago can create the Fusion Shield and Dragon Blade. An actual plasma shield and plasma blade that can cut down the competition like it's nothing. And when it's time to finish things off in style, Drago fires a powerful laser beam directly from his hands, Final Flash Style. This is the Dragon Eternal Force. Despite not being much of a fan of mechanical based Bakugan, Drago does have quite a few potential upgrades at any given time that are mechanical based. Like a motorcycle that increases ground movement, and a freaking jetpack that increases his flight speed. Or Drago can just don a power suit like the Doomtronic which has multiple cannons that fire laser beams. His ultimate upgrade, however, comes in the form of Dragonoid Destroyer. This mechanical beast is directly powered by Drago and can fire laser cannons, revolvers, and form a shield to protect itself. It even boosts Drago's already incredible strength to absurd degrees, annihilating other mechanical suits that could slay hundreds of Bakugan with ease.
Dan:

Audience Enhancer
Crime Freeze
Attribute Enforcement
Field Lock
Ego Meinzer
Record Freeze
Active Ghost
Battle Release
Change Link Force
Element Merge
Flat Power
Forcement Enemy
Land Pressure
Anastasis
And many more
Of course, Dan helps whenever he can as well. Not only is he activating Drago's abilities through ability cards, but he's got other Gate Cards, or Command Cards, that can boost Drago's power, nerf the enemy, or change the surrounding environment to suit Drago's needs. He can bring defeated Bakugan back, automatically destroy Bakugan whose overall power is lower than Drago's, summon other Bakugan to help if he has them, negate an opponent's card, stop them from using any more cards altogether, return monsters to their respective owner's hands, transfer energy, freeze opposing enemies in place, prevent further monsters from being summoned, shut down power boosts, and separate battle gear and fused Bakugan entirely. While Bakugan Brawls usually limit their to be one Command Card at a time, a death battle can be different as Dan isn't going to just be playing specifically by the rules. Therefore, it's possible that he can lay a new card down immediately after the effect of the first Gate Card wears off.
Feats:
Drago's clash damaged the real world
Drago's reached escape velocity
Obtained the power of the Perfect Core and Code Eve
Stopped two worlds from collapsing in on themselves
Traveled between dimensions
Dan became the #1 ranked Brawler in the universe
Defeated Alpha Hydranoid, Naga, Helios, Apollonir, and Razenoid
Drago's a mighty Bakugan indeed, having been able to move faster than the eye can see and even reach escape velocity. That's about 25,000 MPH, much faster than you'd expect for someone of Drago's size. He's rivaled stone golems the size of large buildings in terms of strength, and can even send a different stone golem of similar size to Drago himself flying through the air hard enough to break down buildings. And when he clashed with another Bakugan named Alpha Hydranoid, the resulting shockwave tore up the space and time around them to affect the real world. This is impressive because we know that the battlefield of which Brawls take place in at the time are on a separate plane of existence. Even more impressively, Drago was gifted with the power of the Infinity Core, transforming him into Infinity Dragonoid. The Infinity Core and its twin the Silent Core are responsible for sustaining an entire dimension at best, and 6 different planets at worst. And Naga, who had the Silent Core, was able to merge Vesrtoia's 6 different planets into each other, and teleported them into our world. Moving them across reality was definitely no big deal, especially when Drago was able to fuse both cores to make the Perfect Core. True, he lost a great deal of that power at one point but he has since been able to rival that power and surpass it. As evident by the fact that even a coreless Dragonoid could rival the might of Apollonir, who is responsible for creating the Pyrus world in its entirety. And later on, Drago was gifted with the power of Code Eve, who is responsible for the creation of the Bakugan and an entire dimension specifically meant to imprison some nasty bitches named Barodius and Dharak. Even before that, Drago was directly compared to the very first Dragonoid to have existed, whose battles against the first Dharaknoid could rip the universe in half. And again, Drago only became stronger and stronger. It was to the point where Dharak's evolved and more powerful form, who surpassed Drago's Code Eve power, couldn't even dent Drago's best form, Fusion Dragonoid. So Drago's durability likely scales to his own power. And with Dan constantly pulling in clutch moves and throwing his life on the line for the sake of his partner, they make an excellent team.
Extras:
Bakugan was rebooted with Bakugan Battle Planet. While the show itself is ok, it is clearly detached from any established canon in the original series right down to battle methods. For example, Evolutions are permanent upgrades in the original series, but in Battle Planet they're only temporary forms more akin to Mega Evolution or Digivolution. For these reasons, it was completely ignored when determining the outcome.
After the finale of season 1, Drago became the actual core of New Vestroia. In order to join the fight, he had to separate himself from the full power of the Perfect Core in a body that was weaker than his Infinity Dragonoid form. But he has since far surpassed this level of power anyways, so any feats season 1 Drago could do can easily be replicated by Fusion Dragonoid and thus will be taken into account. The same logic applies to all of his previous forms.
Dan has utilized many different Bakugan across the 4 seasons, but Drago is the only one who stayed with him for all 4 and is clearly his best one anyways. The newer rules made it so having just one Bakugan is not an issue.
Command Cards have been carried over between seasons, and since it is well established that anyone can have and use standard cards we'll consider all of them for the result so long as the card is not directly tied to a specific Bakugan who isn't Drago.
By fusing with Reptak, Drago becomes Aeroblitz Dragonoid. However, Reptak is not Dan's Bakugan and only obtained him when Reptak's partner, Gunz, was missing. He was returned by the end of the series.
Without another Bakugan Dan does not own, Dragonoid Destroyer can only fight upwards of 90% of its full potential. Still a handy upgrade nonetheless. But it can be damaged to the point of being unusable.
Apparently Kuso, Dan's last name, is the equivalent of "fuck" in English. Japan really does not care about swearing.
Weaknesses:
Drago's a pacifist
Dan is hot headed
Dan can be stubborn
Ability cards tend to be one use only
The only problem is that Dan and Drago's overall personalities tend to conflict with each other. Drago is more of a pacifist who tends to gear more towards peaceful methods of saving the day while Dan is quick to lose his temper when things don't go right.
But after about 4 years of Brawling, the two have worked out most of their issues. And even so, Dan has many positive traits that makes him an excellent partner. Like how quick he is to adapt to situations, and how he is surprisingly pretty fit. Together they've gone on space adventures, battled against several tyrants, and foiled many world ending and even universe ending disasters. You can always count on Dan and Drago to step up to the challenge, and roll through the competition.
Masquerade: It's not a game, it's my life!
Dan: Well you're life is about to change.
Yami Yugi
Background:
Many years ago, the Egyptian Pharaoh Atem battled against the powerful beast, Zorc, in a duel that would decide the fate of the world. But things didn't go so well, as his best monsters were stopped before he could bring his ultimate trump card. In a last ditch effort to win, he sacrificed his own life and stopped Zorc. As a result of this, his soul was trapped within a device called the Millenium Puzzle. For years the device remained, until it wound up in the hands of young Yugi Muto. He was a pretty average kid with a love for the worldwide phenomenon Yu-Gi-Oh. But when he managed to solve the puzzle, he was not only bestowed with magical powers, but also became the harbor to the soul of Atem. But he had amnesia, so they just called him Yami, and even worse dark forces were at work. They needed to make their move. Luckily, most problems could be solved with a game of Yu-Gi-Oh. And with the natural talent of both Yugi and Atem, few would stand a chance against these seasoned pros.
Equipment:
Millenium Puzzle
Transfers ownership of body between Yugi and Atem
Grants the user incredible knowledge and strategy
Penalty Game
Duel Disk
Summons Multiple Monsters, Traps, and Spells
Altercation Between Attack and Defend Mode
With the Millenium Puzzle solved, Yugi can actually make the seemingly harmless game of Yu-Gi-Oh real, without the need for fancy holographic technology. So Yugi can duel anytime, anywhere he wants. Of course, doing so does put Yugi's own soul at risk as losing could end his life, but with his 100+ cards and wealth of experience, winning comes pretty easy. By placing cards on his duel disk, he can summon upwards of 5 monsters or 5 spell and trap cards. And he's got a lot.

Goes Into Attack Mode After Blocking 1 Hit
The Mystical Elf is an adapt magic user who can block most attacks with a magical barrier, the Giant Soldier of Stone can tank damage and give it out with his massive stone swords, and Big Shield Gardna can block most anything at the cost of going into attack mode immediately after. Gaia the Fierce Knight rides in at incredible speeds, Celtic Guardian wields a sword and shield, and Buster Blader is a dragon slaying monster whose power rises the more dragons he goes up against. Along with those, he's got dragons with powerful breath attacks. Like the Koumori Dragon, whose flame breath can corrupt the soul of its victim, whatever that means. Summoned Skull is a mighty beast of considerable power, Violet Hecate is a goddess of wickedness who boasts powerful magic, and Valkyrion the Magna Warrior is a tall fusion of three different magnet based monsters who can split into them whenever it wants for whatever reason it may be. Some of these monsters don't even need to be heavy hitters. Kuriboh has pitiful stats, but upon being tributed he can stop the opponent from attacking on the next turn. To buy time, Kuriboh can also grow in size and duplicate itself several times over. But when he needs to get things done, he can call upon one of his most versatile and useful monsters of all, the Dark Magician. Said to be the ultimate wizard in terms of attack and defense, that is utter horse shit as this spellcaster is a key component in summoning and powering up some of Yugi's most potent monsters. His apprentice, Dark Magician Girl, gains power when he's been defeated, or the Dark Sage who boasts even better attack and defense in exchange for the Dark Magician's presence on the field. This tribute results in Dark Magician being sent to the graveyard to never be used again unless specific spell and trap cards are used, but he's got more than enough power to make quick work of the enemy. It's even better than Magician of Black Chaos who would need a specific spell card to summon. These monsters carry some general traits, including the ability to cast illusions, fly, summon thousands of knives to slay the enemy, and control the elements. Most notably, fire and electricity.

Yugi can bring monsters back from the graveyard, summon specific higher level monsters without tributing, reflect all attacks back at the enemy, disable/destroy enemy spell and trap cards, stop and skip through time, swap monsters off of the field, draw extra cards, disable enemy attacks entirely, combine attack power of all monsters he controls into one for a massive suicide strike, and completely nuke the battlefield through Dark Hole. It's exactly what it sounds like, a black hole that destroys every single monster on the field, even the ones Yugi controls. And thanks to his magical hats, he can completely hide monsters. Making it so his enemy has to take a wild guess as to what they're attacking. With so much versatility on his side, Yugi is among the most capable Yu-Gi-Oh players in the world. And thanks to the natural talents of Yugi and Atem combined, they were able to claim the most powerful of Yu-Gi-Oh monsters in the series. Introducing the Egyptian God Cards.

Instant win...no matter what
They're big, they're mighty, and pretty much are instant wins if the enemy has no way of stalling for time. Their power is so great that somehow, the holographic versions of them can kill a man just by summoning it. And in other cases, they can summon city spanning storms, requiring over 20 gigatons worth of TNT, and it seems that the sky and Earth itself shake when they get going. Of course, they do require 3 tributes to get on the field in the first place and are high costing powerhouses, but in the right hands and in the right deck victory is but certain. And Yugi can take it a step farther and if he gets all three on the field at once. By fusing them together, he creates Holactie, the Creator of Light. This mighty god wins every single game, no matter the circumstance if it can get on the field.
Feats:
Holactie destroyed Zorc Necrophades
God Cards are capable of creating city spanning storms
Obelisk destroyed 3 Blue Eyes White Dragons
Giant Soldier of Stone wrecked a moon
Saved the world multiple times
Yugi beat Atem in a duel
Won the Duelist Kingdom, Battle City, and Grand Championship tournaments
Yugi's large variety of monsters come with an impressive amount of speed, power, and durability. Gazelle, the King of Mythical Beasts can move so fast that it appears to be but an illusion. This implies blur speed, which would make it faster than sound. But power and durability is where it's at for Yugi and Yami's deck of cards. Giant Soldier of Stone once destroyed the spell card Mystical Moon by just stabbing it a bunch and destroying it. And there's no way this card is even his strongest in terms of raw power. So it's very likely that Yugi's other cards are even stronger than that. And with his spell cards, I mean come on, Dark Hole is literally a black hole. Do you even need a reason why that is crazy. And Dark Magician can compete with the base form of Blue Eyes White Dragon, who used to be among the craziest monsters in Yu-Gi-Oh with enough power to put up a fight against Obelisk the Tormentor. Speaking of which, it's pretty clear that Yugi's best monsters are his Egyptian God Cards. The Winged Dragon of Ra can leave entire mountain ranges in flames, and Obelisk has even casually destroyed mountains on his own terms. And by fusing together to create Holactie, their power knows no equal. Holactie is so absurdly powerful that she could one shot Zorc Necrophades, a god of destruction of sorts with an actual dragon dick. Now, figuring out Zorc's power isn't entirely clear. His ultimate goal is bring destruction across all life but that doesn't guarantee that he is planet level at the very least. But fortunately, there are some major feats that can give us somewhat of an idea of how crazy he is. Not only is Zorc able to defeat the Egyptian God cards when they're individuals, though with some difficulty mind you, but he's been shown as able to move the moon itself to create a solar eclipse. And unlike Mystical Moon, which is a Spell Card that creates an artificial moon, this is without a doubt the real thing. Moving such a massive object would require beyond planet level energy. And with other major feats, like being able to survive attacks meant to kill dragons, faring equally against the Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon, and slicing the supposed unbeatable Exodia the Forbidden One in half, Zorc may be higher than that. And with the intelligence of two highly experienced Yu-Gi-Oh players sharing one body and swapping between each other, there isn't a situation where they can possibly lose. This mind swapping and shared body trait even makes them immune to mind reading and allows them to converse with each other whenever necessary. And don't think that just because Atem did a lot of the work in duels that Yugi isn't a good duelist. He even defeated Atem himself in a duel when Atem had all three Egyptian God Cards.
Extras:
Zorc is said to be the one to have created the Shadow Realm in the English Dub, which would mean he could be as much as universe level. However, the Shadow Realm does not exist in the manga or Japanese original anime as it was created for the sole purpose of replacing death. Therefore, this feat is a moot point and goes against our rules for what's fair game in this fight.
Yugi did possess Exodia the Forbidden One at the beginning of the series. However, the five pieces needed to summon it were thrown overboard by Weevil Underwood to prevent him from using it in the upcoming tournament. For good reason too. 1, Weevil is a cheating bastard, and 2, if summoned Exodia instantly wins the game regardless of your current condition compared to the enemy.
Breaking the rules of real life Yu-Gi-Oh is surprisingly a common thing. And I thought the Pokemon Anime was BS with crap like Pikachu one shooting a Golem or harming a Rhydon by hitting it's horn…? It can be seen as early as episode #1, where Kaiba manages to summon multiple monsters on one turn, when normally you can only summon 1 at a time.
Real world game rules do conflict with the anime and manga's logic; but for the sake of consistency, the result will be considered using the manga's logic first, then anime second, and then real world last. That way, everything that happened in the manga and anime can be credited to Yugi and Atem without worrying about the real world rules limiting the character's potential as seen in the source material. That and if we're being honest, Yugi's deck has no real synergy in most scenarios and would probably lose most duels in real life.
Slifer was stated as having infinite attack power, but this cannot be true as it is not an unbeatable monster by any means even in terms of raw power, proving that Slifer has a limit. It was likely an exaggeration anyways meant to intimidate Atem, given the situation.
Weaknesses:
Luck of the Draw
Stronger Monsters Require Bigger Sacrifices
Atem/Yami Can Be Brash
Of course, these simple card games can have major risks to them. If Yugi's soul is somehow disabled and removed from the body, then Yami is on his own and can fall to temptation without Yugi's good nature balancing it out. And it really does come down to a luck of the draw in most scenarios, which is why there are cards specifically meant to ignore that and just summon monsters and spells to your hand or just drawing extra cards in general.
But with the ultimate duo, and a bit of plot armor, there is no duel too much for the might of Yami Yugi.
Yami: You've fought a valiant duel, my friend, and this is the hardest move I've ever had to make. But this ends now!
The Battle:
Alright the combatants are set and all possibilities have been taken into account. It's time to d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-duel!
It's a bright and sunny day in the park, as Dan Kuso and Yugi Muto prepare for battle.
Dan: So, you ready?
Yugi: Yeah, give me your best shot.
Dan throws down one of his gate cards, and then grabs hold of Drago.
Dan: Bakugan brawl!
Drago is thrown down onto the battlefield, erupting into a wall of flames as he rises up into his true dragon form. Yugi draws his cards, and places on down onto his Duel Disc.
Yugi: I summon Celtic Guardian in Attack Position!
The armor clad warrior appears on the battlefield, with sword in hand. The battle begins as Celtic Guardian swings his sword to try and bring Drago down, but the dragon simply catches the blade in his hands and tosses the Guardian into the air. Drago follows up with a fire blast that causes Celtic Guardian to shatter into thousands of pieces.
Dan: Yeah, that's how we roll!
Yugi: Don't get too confident, this is far from over.
Yugi places down more cards, Drago is surrounded by the Giant Soldier of Stone and Gaia the Fierce Knight, but Drago is not easily overwhelmed by such weaklings as he manages to break down Fierce Knight with his raw strength and forces the Giant Soldier of Stone to explode into pieces with a fireball.
Yugi: Here we go, I summon Dark Magician in Attack Mode!
Dark Magician appears on the scene, and with his magic he unleashes thousands of knives to try and cut Drago down. The Dragonoid manages to evade most of the blades by flying around at high speeds and retaliating with his fire beams. The two fly around at incredible speeds, trying to overwhelm the other with their energy attack, but Drago is ultimately the one to gain the upper hand as Dark Magician is sent flying towards the ground with one tail swipe. Yugi brings in Koumori Dragon and places a Spell Card.
Yugi: Polymerization!
Dark Magician fuses with the Koumori Dragon to form Amulet Dragon for higher attack power. But it is not enough, for even with Dark Magician enhancing the dragon's magical breath attack, Drago just tanks the hits and sends the Amulet Dragon to the graveyard. Yugi is at a loss for words, as Drago just keeps beating everything he throws at him.
Yugi: He's way too strong.
Yami: Looks like I need to tag in.
Yugi closes his eyes, and they open with a sharp look of confidence.
Yami: Let's do this.
Summoned Skull, Mystical Elf, and Kuriboh are on the field.
Dan: Seriously, how many of these does he have? Ability card activate!
The card in Dan's hand glows, as Drago rushes in and beats down the Summoned Skull. He turns around and fires his energy beam directly at Mystical Elf, but Yami intercepts the attack with his Spell Card.
Yami: Mirror Force!
Drago's attack is reflected back at him and is forced back into his sphere state.
Dan: Drago!
Dan runs up to his Bakugan and picks him up.
Dan: Are you ok?
Drago: Yeah, we have to be careful around this one.
Dan: Right, I got that. Bakugan brawl!
Drago is put back onto the field.
Yami: What, you can't bring a monster back from the graveyard without a spell card? That's cheating!
Dan: Yeah, and how many monsters have you thrown down in one turn. Gate Card open!
The field suddenly turns into a volcanic environment that boosts Drago's stats drastically, he easily obliterates the Mystical Elf, shield and all. But Kuriboh is discarded, stopping Drago in his tracks.
Drago: What, I can't move.
Dan: Huh?
Yami: This is our chance.
Yami triggers spell cards and summons monsters to bring in the big guns. All three Egyptian God Cards are now in play. Slifer unleashes his energy attack, Winged Dragon of Ra unleashes electricity, and Obelisk moves in to send Drago flying through the air. Drago is freed from the immobilization effect of Kuriboh and shoots a fireball down towards the three gods, only to have it be sent back at him by Magic Cylinder. Drago narrowly avoids his own attacks and covers his eyes as the three gods begin to glow.
Dan: What's happening?
Yami: The end.
The three gods come together to form Holactie, the Creator of Light. She raises her hand high and mighty, releasing a massive wave of light that swallows up the environment, Drago, and is coming for Dan. Dan begins to panic as the attack comes closer to him.
Dan: Crap, Gate Card open!
The attack swallows up Dan, but begins to shrink down as Drago absorbs all of the energy into himself thanks to the Perfect Core inside of him. This leaves Yami in a shocked state.
Yami: Wha-how?!
Dan: Yeah, Drago's the real deal pal!
Dan throws down another Gate Card to help Drago out.
Dan: Double Ability activate!
Drago forms Fusion Shield and Dragon Blade, allowing Drago to stop Holactie straight beam of light that was fired directly at him, allowing Dragonoid to get up close and pierce right through Holactie's stomach with the blade. Yami draws his next card and is relieved to find Dark Hole.
Yami: I trigger Dar-
Dan: Not this time.
The next Gate Card opens and causes the card in Yami's hand to fade out and become useless. Drago removes the plasma blade and sends Holactie down with downwards strike from his tail.
Dan: Fusion Ability activate!
Drago: Dragon Eternal Force!
Drago unleashes his full power into one energy blast directly from his hands, Dragon Ball style.
Yugi: What do we do?!
Yami: Nothing...we're finished…
Holactie is directly struck by Drago's beam, which the blast radius of reaches Yami as he disappears within the blast. The explosion dissipates as Drago reverts back into his sphere form and bounces back into Dan's hands.
Dan: Aw yeah, all me baby!
K.O.
Reasoning:
Woah-ho, that was close. At first glance it seemed like Yami actually had a decent chance at winning this. His larger assortment of monsters, spells, and trap cards gave him a massive advantage in just sheer versatility. Heck, in some scenarios Yami could've won this through just stalling the battle out. However, Drago's sheer power alone made this a very difficult task to accomplish, especially since Yami's monsters didn't have the means of combating Drago directly. Buster Blader may have been a direct Dragon counter, but he didn't have the power to hurt Drago badly at all given his durability. Mystical Elf and Big Shield Gardna had high defensive abilities, but Drago's sheer power was too much for them to handle. And while more miscellaneous monsters like Kuriboh could be annoying, Drago's speed was too much for Yami to really do anything with them on a consistent basis. Needless to say, every single one of Yami's monsters were completely outclassed, except for four. Let's talk about why the Egyptian Gods weren't enough to get Yami the win. First off, getting one of them on the field in the first place was a difficult task, getting all three was just ridiculous. And even they didn't have the power to truly compete with someone like Drago. Giving each monster the benefit of the doubt, let's assume that each one of the three are relatively equal to Zorc Necrophades, who gives us the best possible feat to scale them to. Zorc could easily move the moon over the sun to create permanent darkness in Egypt. Based on this, we can easily tell that Zorc is at least at large planet level capabilities. Pretty impressive, but nothing compared to Silent Naga, whom Drago could easily beat. Naga could transport multiple worlds entirely across dimensions and even fuse them together. Plus, Drago has received power boosts from entities powerful enough to create and sustain entire dimensions. And Drago was directly compared to the original Dragonoid, whose battle against the first Dharaknoid could split the universe in half. So Drago couldn't just beat the Egyptian Gods, he could obliterate all three at once. And even if Yami managed to bring Holactie into this, it wouldn't guarantee victory. Even assuming Holactie was at universe level only put her on par with Drago, making them dead even. Except that Drago was much faster so he could put her down before she'd even make a move. "Oh but Holactie is an instant win card, that means she must be able to destroy everything." True, but so was Exodia...who Zorc was able to split in half and destroy. Yami's absurd monster variety gave him the means to put up a good fight, but Dan's quick thinking paired with Drago's sheer might was just too much for the duelist to handle. Yami really didn't have the heart to pull through this time.
The winner is Dan Kuso.
*IMPORTANT NOTES
Holactie's light based attacks did mean her attack speed was higher than Drago's, but she needed to cast it in the first place which Drago could easily intercept with his movement speed. Not to mention, Drago has defeated Haos Bakugan before, whose entire element and attacks are based on light.
Even if neither character's cards could affect the other in the way demonstrated in the battle, Dan would still hold a massive advantage for the other reasons already stated.
Yami and Yugi combined did have more experience than Dan, but it didn't mean much since Dan has shown to be quite quick on his feet and come up with ingenious strategies when it really counts.
Yami's large assortment of spell and trap cards could actually be replicated and countered by Dan's Command Cards. Whether it be transferring energy, returning monsters to the owner's hands, freezing the enemy, canceling out cards, or even instant wins, Dan had an option for pretty much every single one of Yugi's cards. And since Dan didn't need to draw from a deck, he could use whatever he wanted, whenever he needed it.
Yami could win with something like Dark Hole, but that is a very specific circumstance that requires luck and thus cannot be used as a major factor for winning. But even then, there isn't a guarantee that even that would work as Drago's durability has let him survive attacks from enemies just as powerful as himself in the past.
While Zorc could be more than just large planet level, the same can be said for Naga and his feat. The Silent and Infinity Cores are explicitly stated as being the reasons for keeping the dimension Vestroia is in in balance. Once they were removed, everything started to collapse in on themselves.
By being able to destroy most of Yugi's monsters, Yami's chances of even lasting more than a minute are very slim. Remember, the key to victory in Yu-Gi-Oh is having a deck of cards that complement each other. If your opponent can break one piece, the whole structure starts coming down.
Drago has been shattering reality since Season 1 in his first form. And he's managed to defeat and surpass enemies like the Legendary Warrior Apollonir, who created the Pyrus world in the first place.*
