Later on, the Grove Street Families were all rounded up: CJ, Ryder, Big Bear, every member in the kitchen listening to Sweet's order. The latter had finally had enough, and it was time to show everyone that Grove Street was back on top for good. So CJ joined Sweet and the other Grove Street Families inside the kitchen.
"Alright, I want everyone to listen up!" Sweet announced. "Now that we got every last member of the Grove, it's time that we take back what belonged to us in the first place! Our city's in a riot now, and the Ballas and Vagos are still not quittin' without a fight! So a fight they want, a fight they'll get!"
The other Grove Street Families members cheered in agreement.
"But unfortunately, police brutality has been one of our main sources of Grove's downfall, and thanks to this riot, C.R.A.S.H. is free to beat up on our men," Sweet announced. "Just look at what they did to Russell Chief last year. If we let them beat on our guys, then there goes our height of power. The Ballas and Vagos will continue dominating the streets, and more crack will permeate the hood before the riot even has a chance to end! So we gotta eliminate the assholes beating on our guys!"
"Hold on, bro," CJ said hopping out of his seat. "I get that you want to keep C.R.A.S.H. from beating on our guys, but if we kill them directly, a full army of them is gonna try to jump us. We'll be outnumbered!"
"Damn," Sweet grunted. "You're right, CJ! We gotta think of a way to kill them pigs without having them gang up on us. Anybody got any suggestions?"
"I got it!" Ryder shouted. He reached over to the table to pull out a sniper rifle. "We take them out ninja style! They'll get caught slippin' by surprise!"
"Great idea, Ryder!" Sweet said. "You finally learning how to use your head for once, nigga!"
"I told you, Sweet," Ryder replied. "I'm a motherfucking genius!"
"You sure are, Ryder," Sweet said jokingly. "Anyways, let's split up!
Everybody then walked outside and found a truck full of crates outside.
"Ah shit!" Ryder said as everyone walked towards the van. "Didn't I tell ya my homie LB got us covered?!"
"Real dependable!" CJ added. "Ain't that what you said, Ryder?!"
The members of the Grove Street Families ran to the van and took some crates out of the back. They opened them and pulled out their preferred weapons, including the sniper rifles.
"Yeah!" Sweet cheered pulling out a sniper rifle from one of the crates. "Now them crackheads raging against street homies are gonna feel the silent wrath!"
Big Bear stepped right besides Sweet. "F'sho, Dog!" he added. "C.R.A.S.H. ain't gonna beat up on our homies!"
"Okay, we gonna scan the rooftops and highways over at East Los Santos," Sweet told CJ and Ryder. "We gonna take on as many of them C.R.A.S.H. pigs as we can! We can't let them beat on our members!"
So CJ, Sweet, Big Bear, and Ryder all hopped into Sweet's Greenwood, and CJ drove through the riotous city.
"Shit's really fucked up out here!" CJ said as he drove through the streets, barely missing the pedestrians around the street.
"You ain't been here last year, fool!" Ryder told him. "C.R.A.S.H. been invoking that shit last year, especially since Russell Chief got his ass kicked by them on the highway last year!"
"Yeah," Sweet added. "Tenpenny and his goons been harassing us and beating on our homies last year. Some of us were even arrested and incarcerated even when we was just minding our own business."
"That's the police for ya, Dog," Big Bear said. "Always abusing their power just to smother their egos in the streets."
"Jeah," Ryder agreed. "They don't give a shit about ending no motherfucking gang violence! They just live to run the streets them damn selves!"
"Damn tootin'!" Sweet said. "We ain't lettin' them fools stomp on our homies!"
CJ then drove through East Los Santos until he finally came across the bridge. He and the other three hopped out of the vehicle and looked down below to find the members of C.R.A.S.H. beating on many of the members of Grove Street. CJ and the others got their sniper rifles ready.
"Steady," Sweet told the other three beside him silently.
"Ninja style," Ryder whispered sinisterly.
"Down the hatch," Big Bear added.
"We gonna pop them bustas," CJ said.
As they looked down, CJ and the others aimed for each member of C.R.A.S.H. and zoomed in closely. Each of them pulled the trigger and killed each member they were aiming for.
"Bull's-eye!" Ryder bellowed.
The trio continued zooming into each member and killing them as well.
"Pow!" Sweet shouted. "Right in the cranium!"
"Headshot!" Big Bear called out.
The friends continued shooting and killing each member of C.R.A.S.H. as their gang slowly got up, being careful not to get caught in the bullets being fired by CJ and the other Grove Street Families members.
"They just keep on coming!" CJ told Sweet.
"Then we'll just keep on shooting!" Sweet replied. "Don't stop shooting! We gotta eliminate every last one of these members!"
There were about 50-60 members of C.R.A.S.H. dispersing around the streets to beat down the members of the Grove Street Families down below. CJ, Sweet, Ryder, and Big Bear continued shooting each and every member of the unit.
"C.R.A.S.H. don't wanna see us!" Ryder boasted vociferously. "We too peerless for them punk ass bitches!"
By the time CJ, Sweet, Ryder, and Big Bear had all finished, every member of C.R.A.S.H. were now dead, and the Grove Street Families members down below scattered away through the riot.
"Yeah!" Sweet bellowed. "Y'all don't want a piece of Grove!"
Just then, they heard loud hovering up about. "Stay where you are!" they heard a policeman shouted through a megaphone from up above.
The foursome looked up just in time to see a chopper hovering over them.
"Ah shit!" Ryder shouted. "Chopper alert!"
"Come on, guys!" Sweet told the others. "We gotta take down that chopper!"
So the foursome backed away as the other policemen pulled out their assault rifles to fire at them. CJ and the other three quickly dashed away and went inside Sweet's trunk.
"Good thing we were prepared!" Sweet said as he pulled out AK-47's for each member. "Come on! Let's take that chopper down!"
"Right behind you, Sweet!" Big Bear said.
And the foursome fired their weapons at the hovering chopper. Their bullets hit against the vehicle and even killed a couple of officers. After about forty-five seconds, the chopper eventually caught on fire and landed down the street below with a tremendous crash. The impact ended up killing the pedestrians that were right below the crashing vehicle. CJ, Sweet, Ryder, and Big Bear watched as the flames began to spread around the asphalt.
"Man, we were tight!" CJ said. "I can't wait to get back at that nigga Tenpenny!"
"We'll get closer to him!" Sweet said. "We'll worry about C.R.A.S.H. later."
"But what about the other families?" CJ asked his brother. "What about Seville and Temple getting beaten by C.R.A.S.H. as well?"
"It's all taken care of, CJ!" Sweet told him.
"Jeah," Ryder added. "LB already sent every gang member of Seville Boulevard and Temple Drive to cap them fools! They all popping some heads from a distance!"
Just then, they heard police sirens. "Besides," Big Bear said, "we gotta worry about getting the fuck away from 5-0! Let's make like rabbits and bounce!"
So CJ, Sweet, Ryder, and Big Bear hopped inside the car as CJ started the engine.
"Take us to the paint shop, CJ!" Ryder demanded.
CJ then stomped onto the gas and drove as quickly as he can, with police cars and policemen on motorbikes chasing after them. Ryder, Sweet, and Big Bear shot back at the cops. The chase was getting really intense at this point. Not only did CJ and the rest of his allies had to escape the police, they had to get right through the anarchy around the streets while doing so. It was an act of survival on both sides.
CJ continued driving through the streets at an attempt to shake the cops off of him and drove through Idlewood until the cops were no longer hot behind him. He slowly drove inside the Paint 'n' Spray up ahead and gradually backed out after the garage door opened back up.
"Time to get back to the Grove!" Sweet announced as CJ drove back on the road.
"Man, I ain't seen this much intensity since the LSPD ambushed the meeting with Seville and Temple at the Jefferson motel," Ryder said.
"C.R.A.S.H. is out of control this year, homie," Big Bear said. "It's only a matter of time 'til we get to Tenpenny."
CJ then realize that he had to remind Sweet of something. "Speaking of which," CJ started to tell Sweet, "hey bro, you know the third officer Tenpenny and Pulaski had tagging along?"
"Yeah?" Sweet asked. "What about him?"
"I discovered that he was trying to expose Tenpenny for the scumbag he was and the crimes he committed," CJ told him. "Unfortunately, Tenpenny and Pulaski had him murdered, just like they murdered Pendelberry."
"Shit," Sweet muttered. "I'd be glad that piece of shit finally gets his."
CJ eventually made it back to Grove Street, and the foursome then exited out of the vehicle to head to their homes.
"A'ight," Sweet told CJ. "Listen, I'm beat, so we all just gonna get some sleep for tonight and prepare ourselves for tomorrow."
"Okay, bro," CJ told him. "I'll see you later."
So both CJ and Sweet walked into their houses, and as CJ walked inside, he took a second to think. The riot had lasted for three consecutive days, and Tenpenny was still in hiding. He knew that if Grove Street was going to make their way back on top, they needed to get CR.A.S.H. off their backs.
Just then, CJ heard his cellphone ring. He pulled it out to answer it.
"Yeah?" he answered.
"Carl?" he heard Lisa's voice over the phone.
"Lisa?" CJ answered. "What's up girl? How you been?"
"I'm fine right now," Lisa replied. "Did you find Lance?"
"We found him alright," CJ said. "He back with us."
"Thank goodness," Lisa sighed over the phone. "Listen, Carl. I want you guys to be careful out there, because it's getting very intense out here, and there's no telling what might happen tomorrow!"
"Don't worry, girl!" CJ told her. "Me, Sweet, and the rest of Grove Street will handle this. You just hold tight and take care of yourself, okay, girl?"
"You're right, Carl," Lisa replied. "I just have to stop stressing so much. Just be careful out there. You and the other guys."
As she hung up, CJ stored his cellphone back into his pocket and headed back upstairs. He needed to get some sleep to save his energy to take on C.R.A.S.H. and the rest of his rival gangs.
