After many hours had passed, it was now dark, and the riot still continued on. CJ and the rest of the Grove Street family members continued taking over many territories from the Ballas and Vagos. They were still trying to get one of Big Smoke's associates to speak up about the drug lord's whereabouts. After all, Big Smoke was still in hiding, and Tenpenny was still on the run from the rioters.
CJ was currently at Big Bear's place having a discussion about Big Smoke and where he would possibly be hiding in. They were sitting on the sofa
"So any more info on where you think Smoke may be hiding, Bear?" CJ asked Big Bear.
"Shit," Big Bear replied. "We might have to comb every part of Los Santos if we gonna pick up any information off of his allies."
"I know, man," CJ said. "Then we gotta confront his fat ass and see where Tenpenny is hiding in. He's the cause of all this shit."
"I know, CJ," Big Bear replied. "We only in the beginning of the '90s and our gang been falling apart since then. But we back on top now, CJ, and we gradually overcame this temporary relapse – especially me since I was on that crack for a while."
"I say let's try to get some of them Vago cats to spill the beans," CJ said. "We gonna cruise through they hood and..."
But before CJ could finish his sentence, he heard gunshots outside. "What the fuck?" he cried out in surprise.
"What the fuck was that noise?" Big Bear answered as he and CJ hopped out of the sofa to see what was the noise outside.
He and Big Bear exited the house to find that there were a number of Vagos onto the bridge shooting from above. "Ah shit!" CJ shouted. "Smoke must've sent them here to get even with us for blowing up his house in Idlewood!"
"Sweet told us to keep this place secured," Big Bear replied. "And that's a promise we're willing to keep."
He headed to the trunk of his car and pulled out his AK-47. He also handed CJ another one inside as well. "Let's protect Grove Street once and for all!" Big Bear said.
So he and CJ used their assault rifles to fire at the Vagos onto the bridge. CJ knew that his brother was all about protecting Grove Street, and he was not going to let him down again. So he fired at the Vagos and they were each killed one by one, with some of them falling off the bridge and onto the ground below.
Soon, CJ and Big Bear saw that there were even more Vagos coming from the alleyways. "Shit!" Big Bear cried out. "There's more of them coming in the alleyway!"
The two gangsters took cover behind the vehicle as they fired at the Vagos coming for them and riddled multiple bullets at them, killing them one by one. The Vagos were armed with heavy artillery, and CJ and Big Bear knew they had to keep Grove Street tightly secured. So they fired as many bullets into their rivalry gang as they could and killed the last members in the alleyways.
As they returned to the street they saw a lone Vagos member running for the streets. CJ and Big Bear chased after him as quickly as their legs carried them, and CJ finally made a grab for the member before he had a chance to escape. CJ brought the gangster's face close to his face. "Alright, punk!" CJ snarled. "Who sent you and your gang over here?"
"I ain't telling you nada, puto!" the Vago gangster answered.
CJ punched him into the gut. "It was, Smoke wasn't it?" he asked menacingly.
The Vagos member just laughed malevolently. "You think we gonna tell you where Smoke is hiding in?" he asked smugly. "You think I will be retarded enough to tell you that El Rey sent the Vagos out here to raid your hood after you blew up the crack supplies in Idlewood? You think I will be stupid enough to tell you that El Rey is hanging over at the strip club?! Your gang is fucked!"
He freed himself from CJ's grip and knocked him down by surprise. As CJ fell onto his back, he looked up to see that the Vagos member has now pointed a gun at CJ. The latter just stood there looking rather board. The Vagos gangster then prepared to shoot CJ. "¡Prepárate para morir, puto!" the gangster said.
CJ just close his eyes, ready to bite the bullet. But to his surprise, he heard a gunshot, but nothing hit him. CJ then opened his eyes to find that the gangster was standing there with a bullet hole in his heart. The gangster had suddenly been shot in the chest. He took another bullet to the forehead, which caused him to fall dead. CJ turned to see exactly who was the one who shot the gangster.
"That's for last year, asshole!" Lisa shouted angrily as CJ saw that she was armed with a pistol.
CJ jumped back on his feet and stared at Lisa. "Lisa!" he shouted in surprise. "You shot that guy?!"
"Well what other choice did I have?" Lisa shrugged. "I saw that those Vagos had ambushed this place and I was finally getting tired of this senseless bullshit! So I came out here to protect y'all and I used the technique that you taught me, Carl."
"Well Carl sure taught you well, girl," Big Bear told Lisa. "You got aim!"
"I'll say," CJ agreed. "Not bad for a novice. You nailed that guy good, Lees!"
"Thanks," Lisa replied. "Y'all better go back out there and protect this street from them brainless thugs!"
"She's right, CJ," Big Bear said. "We gotta go and blow that leader's brains out."
So CJ decided to follow Big Bear to his Savanna. But not before CJ turned to Lisa. "By the way, thanks for saving me, Lisa," CJ told her. "Keep practicing and you might be able to handle an assault rifle next time."
"No problem, Carl," Lisa replied. "You helped me, so I gotta reciprocate. Here's also something to wish you good luck out there."
Lisa walked up to CJ and planted a fat kiss onto his cheek. CJ started to blush as he barely said goodbye coherently to Lisa, who waved back at him. CJ turned to join Big Bear.
CJ and Big Bear then hopped into the Savanna to drive over to The Pig Pen. CJ drove straight down the rode and made a right turn onto the bridge.
"El Rey?" CJ asked. "The leader of the Vagos? He sent his gang to attack our hood?!"
"Fucking coward," Big Bear muttered. "It's funny how most leaders have their lackeys do their dirty work for them instead of doing it themselves."
"And that's why I will always have the most respect for Sweet as a leader," CJ answered. "He actually gets shit done instead of having everyone else do his job for us. He has the heart of the leader."
"I know, man," Big Bear said. "Sweet is now helping the families get back on the grind, homie. We need a reliable leader, and that's why Grove Street is climbing on top."
"F'sho, Bear," CJ replied as he drove through East Los Santos.
He saw The Pig Pen up ahead and came to a park on the road. He and Big Bear hopped out of the vehicle. They got their weapons ready as they walked to the front entrance.
Inside the strip club, Samuelle's "So You Like What You See" was playing in the background, and there were girls wearing skimpy lingerie dancing around the poles. CJ and Big Bear saw that El Rey was sitting next to a Hispanic chick wearing a short purple sparkling dress on the couch. El Rey was smoking a large blunt while the Hispanic chick was drinking a bottle of wine.
"Oh, mi hombre, haces que mi coño hormiguee," the chick told El Rey amorously.
El Rey just chuckled at the woman's Spanish words. "Well, how would you like me to feed you a chorizo?" he replied sensually.
The woman chuckled as she and El Rey stared making love together. The woman reached under her dress and slowly pulled off her panties, holding them over her shoulder.
Just then, CJ and Big Bear confronted El Rey just in time. "Hey punk," CJ barked at El Rey. "You sent your gang at my hood!"
El Rey just laughed. "You think you could just interfere with our trafficking?" he sneered. "You putos should've quit while you were ahead!"
"Where's Smoke?" CJ demanded.
"Fuck you, pendejos!" El Rey snarled. "You're better off six feet under! Hey chicas! ¡Desperdicia a estos imbéciles!"
As El Rey hopped out of the seat to make a run for it, CJ and Big Bear saw that there were many strippers armed with weapons
"Ah shit," CJ muttered.
He and Big Bear took a dive behind the sofa as the strippers shot at them. CJ and Big Bear shot at them back and killed them one by one. After every stripper inside the club was dead, CJ and Big Bear continued their way out of the door and saw El Rey escape via brown Voodoo.
"Come on, Bear!" CJ said. "We can't let that motherfucker get away!"
They hopped into the Savanna. CJ started the engine and chased after El Rey in his Voodoo. The Vagos leader pulled out his tech nine and shot back at CJ.
"Don't even try to stop me, putos!" El Rey shouted. "Smoke's gonna fuck you both up!"
The chase scene continued through East Los Santos, with CJ and El Rey exchanging bullets. The drive-by shooting between the two gangsters continued up until El Rey's car caught on fire, and CJ and Big Bear watched as El Rey's car raced down the hill and eventually exploded.
"Teach that motherfucker to send his gang in our hood!" CJ said.
"Who that punk think he is?" Big Bear added. "Alright, CJ. Let's get back to the Grove."
CJ drove through the riot in the streets. "Hang in there, Bear," CJ told Big Bear. "We keep this up, we'll find Smoke in no time."
"F'sho, CJ," Big Bear replied. "That fat nigga finna catch a body tonight."
"And now that the Vagos lost their leader, they the weakest gang here in Los Santos," CJ said.
"Hell yeah," Big Bear added. "At this point, Smoke's allies won't stand a chance against us."
"Yeah," CJ said. "All we need is to find Mr. Drug Lord himself."
CJ continued driving through the riotous streets. He was getting too excited to get to Big Smoke and finally tearing Officer Tenpenny apart. He wanted to wait until every member of his gang was healthy in order to ameliorate the gang's prospects of ruling the streets once again.
He finally made it back to Grove Street and hopped out of the car.
"Alright Bear," CJ told Big Bear. "I appreciate your help. You ready stuck with me through all of this."
"No problem, CJ," Big Bear told him. "I'm a Grove Street nigga. That's what Grove Street do. I'm gonna find out who else is working for Big Smoke. You just continue helping the rest of the gangs find more territories to take over. Just be careful out there, CJ. That riot's insane out there."
CJ watched as Big Bear drove away. CJ was very confident that he would find Big Smoke and Tenpenny since they were both responsible for the mess around the anarchic city of Los Santos. CJ decided to take over more hoods from the Ballas' and Vagos.
