A full week had passed since the riots have begun. Now that both the Ballas and Vagos were losing their territories and Grove Street were still climbing on top, CJ and his gang were getting closer and closer to finding Big Smoke. CJ felt his heart thumping and eager to reach the drug lord to put an end to his reign of power, as well as taking down Officer Tenpenny.
Now that Big Smoke's crack supplies were finally destroyed and CJ and Big Bear beat down every one of Smoke's allies they could find, there were just only one thing left to do: find and kill every leader of all of the four sets of the Ballas gang. CJ felt that getting to them would not only weaken the Ballas as badly as the Vagos, they would also be his ticket to searching for Big Smoke.
So CJ decided to head to Big Bear's house during the evening and knocked on his door. Big Bear swung the door open.
"What's up, CJ?" Big Bear greeted.
"Smoke's men," CJ answered. "That's what's up. If we want to find Big Smoke fast, we have to take his guys down!"
"Okay," Big Bear said. "So what are your suggestions?"
"Easy," CJ told him. "We had already taken out the Vago's leader, so now we gotta take down the rest of the leaders from all four sets of the Ballas: Kilo Tray, Front Yard, Temple Drive, and Rollin Heights. They all very pissed we stole back their territories from them. They waiting for us over at Glen Park. We snuff them, we find Big Smoke."
"Alright, homie," Big Bear said. "Well let's do it then, homie. Time to show them Ballas this is our set!"
"Hell yeah," CJ said giving Big Bear a high five. "Grove Street running things around here!"
So CJ and Big Bear headed outside and hopped into the green Savanna. CJ started the engine and drove off through the riot of the city.
"So this is it, huh?" Big Bear asked CJ. "We gonna take out every leader of the Ballas."
"Yeah," CJ answered. "Sweet already got his guys to take over nearly every turf around here, and the Ballas are already becoming weaker by the minute."
"Especially since Sweet already killed the leader of Kilo Tray last year" Big Bear asked. "Now the Ballas gonna lose all of their leaders tonight!"
"Hell yeah," CJ responded. "Let's just cruise through a Ballas territory to find those leaders."
So CJ and Big Bear drove through the riotous city of Los Santos and cruised through Glen Park. Around the area were the leader of each member of the Ballas: Skarz from Kilo Tray after he replaced Tuckah, Dobbs from Temple Drive, and Dopeman from Rollin Heights. All that was missing was Big Charm from Front Yard. The Ballas leaders were staring angrily at CJ and Big Bear.
"Those the motherfuckers who took our hood from us!" Skarz shouted.
"Waste them punks!" Dobbs shouted.
CJ and Big Bear got their assault rifles and hopped out of the vehicle and stepped out. They ducked behind the vehicle to avoid the flying bullets coming their way. The leaders of each set of the Ballas were firing wildly at CJ and Big Bear. But the two held their own and fired back at the three Ballas leaders. They weren't going to let the Ballas bring them down, especially during the riot and with Big Smoke still making progress and Tenpenny attempting to get away with all his illicit sprees.
As the Ballas gang leaders fired at CJ and Big Bear, the latter two fired back and gunned down each and every member of the Ballas one by one, causing them to fall to the ground dead. The only one that was slightly moving was Dopeman. Without a word, CJ and Big Bear slowly walked towards the crawling member, turned him over by foot, aimed their pistols to his coughing, bloody face, and pulled the trigger of each of their weapons. Dopeman was dead, and so were the rest of the Ballas gang leaders.
"That's the last of them, CJ," Big Bear said. "But still no sign of Big Charm. That could mean that he's somewhere with Smoke."
"And I know exactly who has the info on Smoke's whereabouts," CJ said as he remembered his past chasing sprees with Big Smoke in the past. "Folks that had encounters with Smoke in the past."
"Who, CJ?" Big Bear asked. "Who?"
"The Russian Mafia," CJ replied sullenly. "It's all coming back to me. That time that Big Smoke and I had to battle the Russian Mafia at Downtown Los Santos – my instinct is telling me he set up the murder for me that day. Him talking about how he couldn't pick up speed in his motorbike due to the gearbox fucking up during the chase, parking in front of a barricade set up by them Russian cats, not to mention they all seemed to know exactly where we was going considering they were able to block the road twice during the chase. Smoke was actually trying to get me killed during that time! He used me as a target for the Russians."
"Shit," Big Bear said. "It seems that all this time you was rollin' with Smoke, he kept trying to set you up."
"Yeah," CJ said. "And my instinct is also telling me the Russians know exactly where Smoke is hiding, and I know their place! So come on, Bear! We gotta go to Emmet's and pack up!"
"Right behind you, CJ!" Big Bear said as he and CJ entered the Savanna.
CJ drove through the riotous city as quick as he could. He was so determined to finally find Big Smoke that he didn't even stop driving. He didn't say a single word. All he was focused on was going after Big Smoke and get back at him for the way he played him. He also wanted to find the leader of the Front Yard Ballas to weaken the Ballas even more. So he drove through the city and continued making his way through until he finally approached Willowfield and came to a park in front of the alleyway.
The two hopped out of the car and grabbed as many weapons as they could. CJ knew the Russian Mafia would be tough forces to handle. So he and Big Bear needed to be heavily packed. One weapon CJ considered was the minigun since he knew exactly what the Russians were packing. The two packed all the weapons in the trunk of the Savanna and hopped inside.
"Where to next, CJ?" Big Bear asked as CJ started the engine.
"Downtown Los Santos," CJ answered. "The Russian Mafia attacked me and Smoke there. They in it with C.R.A.S.H. too."
"You think they know where Smoke's hiding at?" Big Bear asked.
"I don't think, Bear," CJ replied. "I know they do."
So CJ started driving around the city to hunt for the Russian Mafia. He felt his heart thumping in excitement. He couldn't wait to finally get the gang to spill the beans on Smoke's whereabout and finally take down Tenpenny. The riot would end in no time after everything has been solved. So as soon as CJ drove to Downtown Los Santos, there they were, around Commerce, heavily armed as CJ expected. He turned to Big Bear.
"Okay Bear," CJ told Big Bear. "Remember, they will use various types of straps. So we gotta match their choices and hit 'em with everything they got."
"Right behind you, CJ," Big Bear whispered. "Grove Street 4 life!"
"4 life!" CJ repeated.
So the two hopped out of the vehicle and opened the trunk from behind. They each pulled out a minigun each and slammed the trunk shut.
"You ready for this, Bear?" CJ asked.
"Ready, CJ," Big Bear answered.
"We gonna ambush the atrium and find the leader of the Russian Mafia," CJ told him. "Now let's go. Smoke's waiting for us!"
So CJ and Big Bear armed their weapons and came across a gang of Russian Mafia members.
"You Grove Street gangsters make big mistake setting foot in Russian's turf!" one of the members shouted.
"We take you down by force, Americanski!" another one added.
The shootout began, with bullets flying everywhere inside the atrium. CJ and Big Bear didn't hesitate and just fired at the gangs of the Russian Mafia.
Just like good times, CJ thought. Dammit Smoke! You bringing back too many memories, you fat bastard!
Bullets swarmed around the room. CJ and Big Bear used the pillars as cover to avoid the bullets being fired at them by the Russian gangsters. They popped out of their cover spot and fired more bullets at the Russian gangsters using their miniguns. They were so determined that they weren't even thinking about covering up from the flying bullets, which only managed to swarm past them as the two gangsters continued to kill each of them one by one as they continued firing.
More Russian gangsters appeared from the top floor, and CJ and Big Bear had to switch to different weapons. The Russians even used grenades to toss from above, and one was even armed with a rocket launcher. CJ and Big Bear knew this wasn't the time to get cocky. So they became smart about this and jumped behind the pillars to avoid the missiles from the rocket launcher and the grenades being throw their way.
CJ and Big Bear were much wiser about this, however, and decided to use their assault rifles to take down the Russian gangs up above. After a full ten minutes of shooting, CJ and Big Bear finally brought the last man down and used the elevator to scale the top floor. Once on top, they came across the last Russian gangster standing as they entered his office.
"So, you gangsters ask for ass-kicking, huh?" the Russian asked posing to fight. "So an ass-kicking you get."
CJ just dropped his weapon and remembered Lisa's counter attacks she taught him months ago. As the Russian threw the first punch, CJ countered his opponent's attack and threw some quick punches and kicks himself. He dodged all of the Russian gangster's blows and threw more punches and kicks at him. The fight lasted for one minute and twenty seconds until CJ finally punched the Russian hard in his mouth, causing him to bleed.
The Russian gangster was breathing heavily, and CJ grabbed him by the collar and dragged him over to the guardrail outside. He hoisted the Russian gangster to his feet and held him over the edge of the railing.
"Now I know Smoke sent me here to indirectly have me killed the last time we was here," CJ told the Russian furiously. "Now you tell me where Smoke is hiding at or you can form a cohesive family with the rest of yo' punk ass allies down below."
He pushed his head closer to the edge of the railing to show him the dead bodies of the other Russian gangsters. The living Russian gulped nervously.
"Okay, okay!" he pleaded. "I'll talk! Smoke is hiding in East Los Santos – special place he calls his Crack Palace!"
CJ just glared at the Russian. "No bullshit?" he asked.
"I no tell you fibs," the Russian replied. "Floor number four."
"You real lucky," CJ grumbled.
He shoved the Russian to the floor, leaving him to catch his breath. The Russian then crawled away and back into his office. CJ pulled out his cellphone and punched in Sweet's number. He waited and waited until he heard the phone about to answer.
"Yeah?" Sweet said over the phone.
"Hey, Sweet," CJ answered. "It's CJ. Me and Bear just took out a bunch of Russian cats and finally got one of them to speak! We got Smoke now! He hiding inside a crack place over at East Los Santos."
"East Los Santos?!" Sweet asked. "Fuck it! I'm down!"
"Okay," CJ said. "I'ma swing over to the Grove and pick you up there."
"Cool," Sweet replied. "I'ma get strapped right now!"
CJ then hung up his cellphone and met Big Bear by the elevator. "Come on, Bear," he told him. "It's time to get back to the Grove."
The two had made it outside and hopped back into the Savanna. CJ started the engine and drove through the city, which was still replete with rioters and exploding vehicles. CJ felt his heart thumping. This was now his moment! He couldn't wait to take down Big Smoke and finally confront Tenpenny. The riot would be all over after this.
"So Big Smoke's hanging out in a crack fortress in East Los Santos, huh?" Big Bear asked.
"Yeah," CJ said. "And now it looks like it's up to me to take out that fool. Grove Street is finally coming up on top, the Ballas and Vagos are weak now, as well as C.R.A.S.H., Seville Boulevard and Temple Drive are back together and rolling with the Grove, and by the time we take down Smoke and Tenpenny, everything's gonna be good from here."
"I know, man," Big Bear replied.
CJ continued driving through the city and zipped past Idlewood. Everything that was gradually tearing apart would all end once CJ and Sweet finally deal with Big Smoke and Officer Tenpenny. They were both prepared for it. CJ finally made it back to Grove Street and parked in front of Big Bear's house. The two hopped out of the car and faced each other.
"Okay, Bear," CJ said. "I want you and the rest of the homies to keep this place secured. I'm gonna go get Sweet and we gonna take Big Smoke out ourselves."
"Okay," Big Bear replied. He gave CJ a handshake. "Good luck out there, CJ. You, Sweet, and the rest of the Grove really came through. I wish y'all the best."
CJ watched as Big Bear entered his house. It was finally time to put an end to this once and for all! So CJ went to Sweet's house and walked inside.
PS, this is it, folks! The moment you've all been waiting for! We're finally at the end of the story! I had to do so much analyzing of the gangs and characters before continuing the storyline. So my apologies for taking so long to finally finish this. So we're finally going to the end of the story. I must warn you though, since there was so much I wanted to add in the final chapter, it's gonna be broken up in four different parts. So be prepared for this!
Oh, and on a side note, I also suggest you click the re-write I wrote for Los Santos since there were still some changes I wanted to make for the storyline in that story. So you might want to click on that story as well before reading the ending.
