Coral: I AM FINALLY, FUCKINGLY BACK!

Jacob: Yah! It's the return of the leviathan!

Daniel: The sea dragon has returned!

Hyna: Beware of the storm!

Coral: Are those suppose to be a play-on by my fanfic name?!

Hyna: But really, you sure took a long while this time. What happened?

Coral: Let's just say... life turned up good in one way, and a gamer part of me took control for a while.

Daniel: 'Gamer part'? Oh! Would it have to do with that Pokemon event a few days ago?!

Coral: *sit in corner in depression*

Daniel: Huh?! What's wrong?!

Jacob: She didn't get any of the Kantonians during the event, nor did she even battle one.

Daniel: O-Oh...

Hyna: N-Now now. Let's forget of such depressing stuff and go to the chapter. It's been a long time, and I certainly can't wait to see what's going on here.

Coral: Yes, indeed! After so long, with the help of Jacob, this chapter is finally done! Now without further ado, let's get started!

Jacob: You recovered way too fast there!

*OPENING*

Don't be afraid of stuff you have never seen or done
(Crescythe approached a lake and was going to take a drink it when she felt her horn tingle)
Come on, future hero!
Let us all run with the winds at our backs
(She side stepped and avoided Ruby's attempt to tackle her from behind, as the trainer fell into the lake. Crescythe offered a paw to help Ruby out with a smile, in which she gladly accepted.)

(Instrumental)
(Camera faced the whole landscape of Kalos as title appears on the screen)

You've gotten more tan since the time we met
(Scene changed to Bermuda Island, with Vanessa exiting out of the portal, exhausted as she fell to her knees)
Clothes have gotten a bit dirty, but that's alright since it's more like you
(She looks up and saw all her friends and their Pokemon in front of her, smiling as Ruby and Jaune offered her a hand, in which she accepted in relief)
Even with bitter tears hidden under the hat
(Ruby sat along the coastline at a beach, looking down at her Mega Bracelet in sadness)
Look, the sun will dry them soon enough
(Crescythe tapped her nose against her back, causing her to turn and saw her Pokemon team standing behind her, and all her friends behind them. This made Ruby smile as she ran up to them all.)

Learning 'til we're tired
(Scene changed to the plains where the team are training their Pokemon, with Vanessa and Lyanne supervising, and Seth and Jackson preparing lunch.)
Playing 'til it's dark
(Scene changed to the group sitting around a campfire having dinner)
Let's chase the Rainbow Wing
(From another dimension, Lugia and Ho-Oh kept close eyes on the group, specifically some certain individuals)
The importance of voicing out my dreams
(Weiss is on stage with her Pokemon team as she performs with them)
That's what you've taught me
(Meloetta flew above them as she sang. She then started to glow and change shape)

Don't be afraid of stuff you have never seen or done
(In a sunny area, Team RWBY had their first Pokemon out and against Team CRDL's Pokemon, the girls' Pokemon unleashing Aerial Ace, Ice Beam, Dragon Claw, and Hyper Beam at the opposing Pokemon)
Come on, future hero!
Let us all run with the winds at our backs
(In another area, Team JNPR had their own Pokemon out against the Neo Team Flare's female scientists' Pokemon, the Huntsmen's Pokemon using Iron Head, Swift, Dragon Breath, and Flying Press on the enemy)
Do not ever forget the dream that you have always had
(Vanessa looked down at her armor in her hands, thinking about Nic, as the Dark Legendaries appeared behind her. She sensed their presence and turned, only to instead see Seth, Jackson, Leafeon and Lyanne behind her)
Come on, let us all get our backpacks ready and go
(This made her relieved as she placed her armor in her new bag and put it on her back, as she joined them and the rest of their friends.)
This is your adventure and nobody else's
(In the Pokemon Village, Wulric and Diantha stood in the middle of a group of Pokemon. Both then looked up to the sky as a gentle wind blew.)
Let's take a step forward
(Opening ends with the heroes atop a cliff as they looked down at the town below)

After a few more days of rest and training on Bathe Island, as well as some enhanced, acupunctual healing from Jackson to Vanessa, the heroes finally got on a ship ride back to Anistar City. The ride back was quite peaceful, as the group went about their own thing on the ship. In fact, it was so peaceful, most of them felt quite bored. And unfortunately, the ship they were on didn't have a battlefield for them to do any Pokemon battling to help time pass faster.

After what felt like a cruciating ride back, they finally arrived at Anistar.

"We're back on land~!" Ruby cheered.

"Back to adventure~!" Nora followed.

Weiss scoffed at the pair's antics. "You'd think they's mature at least a bit after what happened and soaking up in that hot spring so many times."

"Considering how they acted during those supposedly peaceful dips, I don't think so," Lyanne said.

"Well, the ship ride back was uneventful, compared to everything else that's happened these past few days," Pyrrha pointed out.

"Yeah. Even I'm not used to the peaceful ride, and I was hoping for something peaceful with everything that's been going on," Jaune admitted.

"Some of us needed that sort of peaceful ride, anyway, so it's good for us," Seth said, specifically referring to Vanessa on that part.

"Yeah. Having that battle the other day when I wasn't fully recovered was a huge mistake on my part," the rescued trainer said.

"True as it may be, the song in your heart held strong, and continues to get stronger," Meloetta stated.

"She's right about that. You're still alive and kicking, aren't you? I'd say that's good enough of a good thing for me," Yang added.

"That is quite true," Leafeon agreed.

"Still, even though she is practically all healed up now, she best take another day or two to take things slow," Jackson advised. "Better be safe than sorry."

"He's not wrong there," Blake agreed. "Besides..."

The group looked back at the city, which is undergoing some construction still from a certain event several days back.

"So this... is the damage caused by those Dark Legendaries?" Vanessa asked.

"Yes," Crescythe answered. "Though compared to when we left, I'd say this is a better sight to see."

"He has a point, there. Before we left, it was more chaotic," Jaune added.

Ren noticed someone from a distance. "The workers aren't the only ones busy. Olympia is helping out, too."

The group turned to where she was looking and saw the gym leader floating in the air via Psychic from one of her Pokemon, as she instructed her team to help out however they can and see through the work her people were doing.

"Wow. She really knows how to take charge here," Yang said.

"As a gym leader, she has to look out for her city and assure her people's safety, no matter what the situation. I can understand that feeling, seeing as I was a general once," Seth pointed out.

"We should probably help out with the construction," Ruby suggested. "The faster this city is repaired, the better for the residents here."

"True as it may be, there is still one small problem," Jackson spoke. "The Dark Legendaries. We stay here any longer, we'll be doing more than just delaying the construction."

When he said it that way, the group all looked down with serious expressions on their faces. He wasn't wrong; they stay any longer, those guys may come back to retrieve the one thing that escaped them. And considering the length they went through to get Crescythe's- that is, Mewtwo's disguised Mega Stone, they didn't want to know what would happen if they prolonged their stay any longer.

"We can at least say 'hi' and 'bye', can't we? Or leave a message?" Jaune suggested.

"I think a bit of time to greet is okay," Vanessa agreed, wanting to at least meet the gym leader she will be facing at some point, if not now.

"It would be rude to just leave without saying 'hello'," Leafeon added.

"I uh... Would it be alright if I disappear a bit?" Meloetta asked. "I'm still not quite used to strangers, even if they are your friends."

"You sure? Olympia won't bite," Ruby asked.

"I think it's best not to push her, Ruby. She'll meet other people when she feels ready to meet them," Crescythe said.

"She's right there. You can never rush perfection, after all," Weiss stated.

No one had it in them to argue against that and approached the busy gym leader.

"Olympia! Hey!" Ruby called out.

The gym leader of Anistar heard her voice and turned their way. "Ah. I see you've all returned," she greeted. "And I see there's one more of you." Olympia's Meowstic let her down to the ground, where she was standing right in front of Vanessa. "So this is Nic Pularis's sister. A pleasure to meet you."

"O-Oh! Yes. Same here," Vanessa greeted back. "I would ask how you knew my brother, but that'd be a ridiculous question. Though I am surprised you know me."

"The stars have told me many things that will be happening in the future. Us meeting was one of them. Although, this was not how our meeting was to be."

Vanessa nodded in understanding. "I see."

"I assume you're here for a gym battle, but unfortunately, with the state Anistar City is in, I'm afraid I won't be doing any battles for a while."

"It's okay, I understand. We were just here to say 'hello'."

"I see. Then before you leave, allow me to give you a foretelling. If you children can follow me to the gym, please." With that, Olympia and her Pokemon walked straight to the gym, with the group of teens following them.

Once they arrived at the gym, the Psychic-master opened her cape and used her powers to create a picture through the green mist. "I see in your future... many trials await you. These trials will define your growth as trainers and test your bonds," she foretold. "Especially... here." After many pictures containing silhouettes of people, Olympia conjured up a picture of a building, much like a stadium.

"That's Kalos Pokemon League!" Jackson identified.

"It would make sense, as that is usually the last stop for any trainers," Seth said.

"True, but we're not going there," Jaune said, bringing attention to him.

"Jaune is right. We originally went on a journey to find Vanessa. And now that we had, it's a good time for us to find a way back home," Ruby pointed out. "As for Zetta... we'll figure out how to save her on the way. Hopefully, by the time we find a way home, we'll have her on our side again."

"The sooner we leave, the better it is for everyone here," Crescythe added. "Those Dark Legendaries are targeting us. If they know Vanessa escaped, if they know she's here, it'd spell out much danger for everyone in this world."

The group all knew the three were right about that. Even though it will sadden them somewhat for ending their journey once they find a way home, the huntsmen and huntresses had stayed long enough in the Pokemon world.

Olympia simply smiled at the reason. "I understand. However, be that as it may, the stars tell me that your journey will lead you here. Then again, there is no clear time as to when you will. Perhaps when the danger is over, you all will return here at some point and finish this part of the journey you've all started."

"That would be nice," Pyrrha said.

"I hope I can still continue my journey as a Pokemon Performer if we return," Weiss said.

"I'm sure you can," Blake said.

"And when we do return, it will be when Vanessa's ready to continue her own journey here," Yang added. "Can't have the students going on far ahead of you, can ya?"

Vanessa saw the cheeky smile the Y of RWBY was giving her and smiled back. "You got that right. Once I'm all healed up, once I find my brother and friends, once we get some things finalized in their world, I will come back and continue my journey as trainer. And when that day comes, we'll all be traveling the rest of Kalos, together."

The huntsmen all smiled at those words, silently agreeing to the terms. Unlike them, however, there were certain individuals amongst them who weren't as enthusiastic with their plan to leave.

Meanwhile, in the place Vanessa had escaped from...

"What do you mean she escaped?!" Hoopa demanded. "There are like hundreds, thousands of you guys, and you let one lone human escape?! With her Pokemon?!"

The Pokemon all working for the Dark Legendaries shuddered in fear at one of the master's rage, so must so that they couldn't explain how Vanessa got away. If anything, they were just as surprised that such a thing had happened.

"At ease, Hoopa. It is not their fault that the sister of Nic Pularis is gone," Mewtwo said.

"Indeed. In fact, if we really did want her here, she would've still be," Darkrai added, much to Hoopa and their followers' confusion.

"You make it sound like you actually want her gone," the Mischief Pokemon said.

"That's because we are," the assailant answered. "Porygon-Z. I assume you got that thing done before her escape?"

On cue, the crazy Normal-type Pokemon on their side appeared before them, cackling. "Ehahahahaha! Why of course I did~! Just as I do to all out guests~! Though if I may, great master, I do not understand why you didn't let me at least open up that human girl's head~ I could've found something regarding your greatest target by then~"

"True, if we let you do that, we would've found out where Nic Pularis is by now and search for him ourselves. However, by letting the girl go, we can accomplish something even greater than that," the assailant said. "I imagine Arceus and those two certain legendaries had noticed her return by now and is heading her way. Once they do, we will accomplish more than just finding out where Nic Pularis is and ending him. Such a task is so easy and quite dull if done the second time around. No... I want to see him and Arceus squirm in despair the next time we meet."

Back in Anistar City in the Pokemon world, the group decided to stay in town for a little while. The reason? Now that Vanessa had returned, they thought it would be nice to spread the news to Team CFVY in person. After setting up the meeting back on Bathe Island, all they had to do was wait a couple of days. In the mean time, they would train and help out around the construction however they could, as well as prepare Vanessa for the day of the reunion.

That, and according to Olympia, Diantha would also be coming to town to help with the repairs. As it would turn out, the champion of Kalos felt partially responsible for what happened and wanted to help out whenever she could. Vanessa couldn't help but fidget a little at the thought of the Kalos Champion coming over and meeting her again, even more so at the thought that the very person wanted to help search for her.

The group was currently in a clothing store, looking for new garments for Vanessa. They would've done so already back on Bathe Island, but the only clothing store they had there sold yukatas. And since Vanessa's old attire was tattered and worn from escaping the dimension she was trapped in, she had to replace the clothes with something new. Plus, Ruby, Weiss, and Yang thought she should look presentable when they meet Team CFVY again.

"You guys don't really have to help me pick out a new outfit, you know," Vanessa insisted.

"Are you kidding?! Of course we do!" Ruby exclaimed, rushing through every clothes in the female section with her Semblance to find the perfect garments for her.

"It is a big reunion. I insist you let us help you be perfect for when Team CFVY arrives," Weiss said, also examining each piece of cloth.

"You know they're not going to stop. Might as well let them do what they want," Crescythe told Vanessa.

"The Absol's right about that," Jackson agreed.

"Yeah, I guess that's true," she agreed. She then looked over to where Seth, Lyanne and Leafeon were. Team JNPR were at another part of the clothing store, the males dragged by the females in finding something new for themselves. They figured if they were to get something new for Vanessa, why not get something for themselves along the way. Meloetta... kind of disappeared on them, but the group knew she was still somewhere nearby.

She approached Seth and asked the Pokehuman, "Is there something on your mind? You, Lyanne and Leafeon seem pretty out of it."

"I-It's nothing. Don't worry about it," Seth answered with a stutter. His answer only served to worry Vanessa a little, as she looked at him in concern. Before she could ask again, he then said, "Did we book some rooms at the Pokemon Center? I don't think we did. I'll go on ahead." Without another word, he left the store, leaving Vanessa even more confused and concerned for him.

As he left, Leafeon and Lyanne both sighed, looking to the Remnant trainers, thinking about the things they had in store for when they returned. Jackson, wandering by them, looked to their sad expressions, wondered what was up, then looked to their allies.

"Seems like they're ready to go home," he stated.

"Yeah... They do seem excited..." Leafeon sighed.

"But... don't you feel... you know, left out of all of this?" Lyanne asked.

"Well, they have been together longer than we have been with Ruby and the others. It's only natural they got a bit of a chemistry that we don't have yet. But we will," Jackson said.

"Yeah, but for how long?" Leafeon questioned, causing her trainer to turn to them in confusion. "Once they find a way back home, we might never see them again."

"We may have only journeyed for a short while, but... we've almost forgotten that they still have to return home," Lyanne sadly pointed out. "Won't you be sad when they have to leave?"

"Not at all," Jackson answered, causing the two to look to him in shock. "In fact, I'll be happy when they finally find a way back."

There was a moment's pause between the three of them. Then suddenly, Leafeon and Lyanne got in Jackson's face with anger.

"HOW CAN YOU BE SO HEARTLESS?!" Lyanne demanded, scaring Jackson.

"ALL THIS TIME TOGETHER, AND YOU WON'T EVEN FEEL AN OUNCE OF SADNESS?!" Leafeon hissed.

"Wait, what?" Jackson questioned, trying to back away from the two, but they kept following him as he backed away. The yelling caused the Remnant trainers, as well as other people in the store, to look to them.

"I never, in my life, thought you wouldn't have the galls to act in such a way!" Leafeon stated. "Did you not care for them at all in our journey together?!"

"Of course I do! That's why I-"

"And what about Blake?!" Lyanne snapped. "Did you even consider her when the time came?!"

"I did consider her! I even spoke about it to her recently, when we were in the sand baths."

"So she knows?! And you guys are okay with it being this way?!" Lyanne demanded, disgusted at how easy they were to part from one another. "I know what you went through in your past made you shut down some parts of your heart, but I would've never expected you to shut yourself away from her, and everyone else, just that easily! You disgust me!"

"Okay, hold on!" Jackson stopped this. "What in the world is this even all about? Why are you hitting me with low blows like that?!"

Leafeon and Lyanne growled at him for a moment, before pushing him into the wall, causing him to catch himself before he fell.

"Never mind! I guess you just don't feel anything at all!" Lyanne huffed. "Come on, Leafeon. At least WE still care."

Leafeon looked back at Jackson for a moment and huffed, "You disappoint me. I thought you cared better." And she and Lyanne walked away.

Jackson rubbed the back of his head from hitting it into the wall, as the rest of the Remnant trainers rushed to his side.

"What just happened there?!" Weiss asked, watching the two females leave.

"It sounded like you really angered them," Nora pointed out.

"I honestly have no idea." Jackson answered. "They think I don't care about you guys, but I do. I mean, I can't wait for you guys to find a way back home. That way, we can join with you guys and see what your world is like."

"Wait, you were planning on coming with us?" Jaune asked, hearing this idea for the first time.

"No offense, but Remnant isn't as great as this world, or as forgiving," Pyrrha informed. "There is a reason why we are training to become huntsmen and huntresses."

"Guys, don't forget that where I came from, I dealt with an egg-headed villain who'd sent robots of deadly capabilities to try and take over the world constantly," Jackson reminded them, "If Remnant will be anything like that, I should have no problem. Besides, I'm sure Seth and the girls would have a blast there. Leafeon would get some challenges in with other swordsmen-type of huntsmen and huntresses, Lyanne is a Legendary Pokemon and can definitely hold her own in battle, and Seth is a Pokehuman, so he's practically a huntsman already, just without a weapon."

When he put it that way, the Remnant Team found themselves leaning over to agreeing to the idea, rather than disagreeing with it.

"Still, what were those girls talking about?" Blake asked, looking towards the direction Lyanne and Leafeon disappeared to.

"Not sure. I get the feeling they're not telling me something," Jackson stated, scratching his scalp. "But I can't really understand what it is."

Vanessa looked from Jackson, to where the two females left, her eyes narrowing. First Seth, and now them. It's like something was really bothering them, yet neither party wanted to tell why. She felt like asking them what was wrong would not help. Instead, she had to figure out a way to coax the trio in confessing what was bringing them down.

Later that night, while everyone was asleep in the rooms they booked at the Pokemon Center, a certain few individuals were awake. These individuals wandered in the woods of Route 18, looking up at the night sky.

"We should be happy for them, right?" Seth asked Lyanne.

"Jackson certainly was," she answered grumpily. "I mean, I'm happy they found Vanessa, and I know they will have to return to their own world at some point, but even so... I don't want our journey to just end here."

"Same here," Leafeon said. "I know we should be prepared for a good-bye at some point, but even so, this is just too sudden. We can't force them to stay, either. They have their own home to go back to, their own decisions to make."

"Yeah... But even so, I just wish they could wait until they get their last badge," Seth said. "And you said Jackson doesn't care if they do return?"

"You make it sound like we're going back to Remnant tomorrow," came a voice.

"And who said I don't care?" came another voice.

The trio turned and saw Vanessa and Jackson behind them.

"Shouldn't you two be in town sleeping?" Seth asked.

"That's a funny question, coming from you," Vanessa said.

"We just... wanted to get some air, is all," Leafeon lied.

Jackson easily saw through her lie. "Sure you just wanted to get some air, especially after what happened back there." He and Vanessa went up and sat next to them. "Speaking of, can we talk about it? Lately you guys have been looking down in the dumps."

"He's right. I don't know you for even half as long as the others, but even I know something's bothering you."

"Who, us? We're not down in the dumps," Seth denied.

"Could've fooled me. Come on, out with it. You don't want us- want them to go back, do you?"

"What? You think we want them to choose more adventures with us over going home? At the risk of the Dark Legendaries coming back after us some time soon for you and destroy possibly half of Kalos just to look for you?" Leafeon said.

"No one really said that, though the thought is quite ominous when you say it out loud," Jackson stated.

"What I think Leafeon meant to say is, we don't mind those guys leaving as soon as they want to," Seth said. "They have their own world to return to, they were dragged to our world against their free will... if they want to go home that badly, it's... fine. Really."

"Your tone says otherwise. You don't want them to go, do you?" Vanessa asked.

"That may be so, but we're not going to burden the others for our selfishness," Lyanne said.

"Maybe not now, but eventually you will be a burden. And it won't be because of what you want, but what you're hiding from them."

"Look, you may be their teacher, but you're definitely not ours," Leafeon retorted. "I'm sure you gave them plenty of lessons about Pokemon, in which we clearly saw during our journey with them, but that doesn't mean you can just give us life lessons."

"She didn't say anything about that," Jackson retorted back. "We don't know what's been going on with you guys, but whatever it is that's troubling you, you've gotta spill it. Keeping it in won't do you any good."

"After what you said back there, you're the last person we want to hear that from!" Lyanne argued.

Vanessa saw that there was nothing that would change either of their minds. She knew they thought they were doing a favor in keeping their selfishness in them, but she knew someone who did the same to her a few years ago. That someone went missing, when in truth he was only sent to another world. She was happy that he came back to her life, but after a horrific tragedy during their short time together, he was close to pushing her and their friends away, close to wanting to deal with the guilt of his failure on his own.

She looked over to Jackson and noticed he had the same thought. Something has to be done about this situation.

"You know, when two trainers make eye contact, they have to battle without any exception. In the case of one trainer making eye contact with multiple, they have to battle them all at once," she said, getting everyone's attention.

"What are you getting at?" Seth asked.

As if to answer the question, Vanessa took out a Pokeball and called out her Krokorok. "Let's battle. Here and now."

Seth and the girls looked at her like she grew an extra head. "Huh? Are you crazy? Look, I know you and your Pokemon are fully recovered now, but-"

"But nothing. I want to see for myself how strong you, who helped guide my students, really are."

Lyanne looked to Jackson. "Jackson! Stop her! You know she and her Pokemon are still not in the best condition for a battle!" she told him.

"You're right, they aren't in the best condition," Jackson agreed. He then reached into his pocket and took out a Pokeball of his own. "That's why I'm joining her." He tossed the ball in the air and called out Dedenne.

"All right! Now's time for Vanessa to see how much I've grown since joining Jackson!" he cheered.

Now, Seth, Lyanne and Leafeon turned to him in shock. "Jackson, what are you doing?!" Seth asked.

"I'm with Vanessa, here. You guys haven't been making much since all day, specifically about the others going home. What's so wrong about that?" Jackson questioned.

Hearing that question once again, Lyanne and Leafeon looked at him in disgust. "You did not just ask that again!" the disguised Latias exclaimed.

Seth, who heard the question for the first time, was just as angered. "I don't believe you, Jackson... I thought Blake means a lot to you just as much as Yang does to me!" he shouted.

"Wha-?! She is! Why do you think I-?!"

"No more talk!" Leafeon shouted. "All right, if you guys want a battle, you'll have one! Lyanne, consider yourself my trainer! Heartless, selfish idiots like them don't deserve to battle a Legendary Pokemon!"

"Took the words right out of my mouth," Lyanne agreed, as Seth called out Florges.

It was silent in the area. Neither side made a move, as they sized up the opposing side.

"Florges, Grassy Terrain!" Seth began.

"Leafeon, Leaf Blade!" Lyanne followed up.

Florges started off with having grass and some flowers sprout out of the ground, all about the field. Once the field was set, Leafeon dashed on through with her tail glowing green.

"Krokorok, block with Shadow Claw!"

"Dedenne, Flash!"

At Vanessa and Jackson's order, first Krokorok's claws became encased in shadows and the 'mon blocked Leafeon's Leaf Blade with all his strength.

"You think you're strong enough to stop me? In a terrain like this?!" she questioned.

"LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING, LEAFEON WHO BELONGS TO JACKSON BUT IS BEING BORROWED BY LYANNE THE LATIAS! EVEN KROKOROK CAN DO DECOY!" Krokorok shouted. As soon as he shouted those words, Dedenne came up from behind him and flashed a bright light. The light was so blinding, Leafeon shut her eyes and lost focus, and took a direct hit from the Shadow Claw.

"Leafeon!" Lyanne called out in worry.

"That Krokorok is tougher than I thought, if he's able to block that Leaf Blade," Seth stated. "In that case, Florges! Moonblast!" At his command, Florges gathered energy from the moon, forming a pink orb from her mouth and fired it at Krokorok.

"Dedenne! Block with Iron Tail!" Jackson shouted.

"Okay!" Dedenne cried out in agreement, as his tail started to glow and turn metallic. He swung it at the Moonblast and sent the attack flying away. "Yeah! How's that?!" he then asked Leafeon, who stood back up on her feet.

"Leafeon, use your own Iron tail!" Lyanne called.

"Gladly!" Leafeon exclaimed, as her tail did the same and she charged at Dedenne.

The little Antenna Pokemon was taken aback by the great hostility, as he dodged her attacks as quickly as he could. "Whoa, whoa, whoa! Wait a second!"

"Florges, another Moonblast!" Seth followed, with Florges prepping up another pink orb.

"Krokorok, Rock Tomb, quick!" Vanessa called out.

"LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING, FLORGES AND LEAFEON! KROKOROK WILL NOT LET YOU DO AS YOU PLEASE!" Krokorok shouted, summoning a number of boulders and launching them all at the pure Fairy-type.

Having little choice in the matter, Florges fired her Moonblast at the boulders to prevent herself from getting hit by the Rock-type move.

It was then, Jackson had an idea. "Vanessa. Could you have Krokorok keep using that move?"

"Sure thing. Krokorok!"

"SAY NO MORE, VANESSA!" Krokorok shouted at his trainer, overhearing the plan loud and clear as he continued on the Rock Tomb assault.

The sight of seeing multiple boulders flying all over the field snapped Leafeon out of her practical bloodlust, as she focused instead on avoiding the rocks with Florges. Dedenne scurried around the field as fast as he could to not get crushed.

"HEY! Watch where you're throwing those things!" he shouted. Unfortunately, Krokorok didn't seem to be listening to him.

"Dedenne! Iron Tail on those rocks!" Jackson shouted. Dedenne happily obliged to the order and smacked any rocks heading his way away from him with his tail.

"That's an idea we'll take. Iron Tail, Leafeon!" Lyanne called. Leafeon's tail glowed, as she deflected the boulders she couldn't dodge. It wasn't long until the barrage of rocks had finally cease... with a new problem.

"Where's Krokorok?!" Seth gasped.

"Dedenne is gone, too!" Lyanne added.

"Dig!"

"Parabolic Charge!"

At Vanessa and Jackson's call, respectively, a hole suddenly formed under Leafeon's feet, as Krokorok emerged and landed a strong punch. Dedenne followed him right out and unleashed a blast of electricity in the air. A sphere of electricity is formed in the middle, which then shot out multiple blasts of electricity and struck all the Pokemon around him. Being a Ground-type that he was, the attack did nothing to Krokorok. For the Fairy-type and Grass-type pair, on the other hand, it zapped some of their strengths away, transferring them all to Dedenne.

"Whoa, that was refreshing~" he said.

"LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING, LEAFEON AND FLORGES! KROKOROK HAD EXPERIENCED MORE DANGEROUS EXPLOSIONS THAN THAT!" Krokorok exclaimed.

"Clever of them. They used the Rock Tomb, not only to lower our speed, but also as a cover for Krokorok to use Dig and prepare an ambush," Seth stated.

"And use Parabolic Charge to zap them of their strengths, while it does nothing to Ground-type Pokemon like Krokorok..." Lyanne added. "But we're not done yet! Leaf Blade!"

Upon her command, Leafeon's tail glowed green once more, as she leapt into the air and fell towards Krokorok.

"Use Dig!" Krokorok dug underground once more and avoided the attack. Just as Leafeon was about to land, however, the Desert Croc Pokemon swiftly popped back out and landed a harsh uppercut to her chin.

"Leafeon!" Lyanne gasped in shock.

Seth, on the other hand, saw his chance once Krokorok was in the air. "Florges, Magical Leaf!" At his order, his Fairy-type Pokemon fired her glowing leaves at Vanessa's Pokemon.

"Dedenne, Parabolic Charge!" Once Jackson gave his command, the Antenna Pokemon unleashed another dose of his multi-target attack, this time hitting the Magical Leaf attack and effectively blocking the move.

Irritated with how Jackson was blocking his attempt to defeat Vanessa's Krokorok, Seth shouted, "Jackson! Why'd you do that?! In fact, why aren't you bothered by any of this?!"

"Any of what, exactly?!" he asked back. "You, Lyanne and Leafeon have been acting really weird all day! And when we asked what was wrong, none of you bothered to answer!"

"Like we need to! And you know something, Jackson? Coming from you, who is in love with one of those guys like I have, I thought you'd be at least a bit bothered by the situation at hand. But it seems I've overestimated you!"

Seth's claim only served to confuse Jackson even more. "What exactly do you mean?! Speak clear English!"

"No more talk! Florges, Petal Blizzard!" At his command, Florges unleashed a flurry of yellow petals around her.

"Quick, hide!" Jackson called to Dedenne.

"Krokorok, use Dig!" Vanessa also ordered.

The Desert Croc quickly dug into the ground while Dedenne hiding behind a boulder, both managing to escape from the Petal Blizzard. Leafeon, on the other hand, took the full force of her ally's attack. Thankfully, the damage wasn't too bad, considering her typing.

"Hey! Watch where you use that move!" Leafeon shouted.

"Apologies," Florges said. "Though to be honest, you could've just avoided my attack."

"How? When there isn't a good footing around here? My body isn't that small or agile!"

What she said brought attention to Seth and Lyanne, as they took a moment to survey around the field, and came to a sudden realization; the field covered by flowers from Grassy Terrain, now had many boulders scattered about, all positioned quite close to each other on their side of the field, compared to Jackson and Vanessa's.

"The Rock Tomb... They didn't just lower our speed with it; they gave us difficult footing!" Seth exclaimed.

"It'll be more than just that. Rock Tomb!" Vanessa called out.

Krokorok pounced out of one of the holes he made and summoned more boulders. He tossed each and every one of them around Leafeon and Florges, trapping them in.

"Dedenne! Iron Tail on the boulders!" Jackson shouted.

Dedenne caught on to the real plan and, with his glowing metallic tail, smacked some of the large rocks over to the opposing side. With little time to react, Leafeon and Florges could only watch as the pair of opposing Pokemon set up many boulders around them, completely trapping them both.

Meanwhile, in Anistar City, one certain Legendary Pokemon was waking the huntsmen up.

"Guys, wake up! Hurry!" Meloetta cried out.

"What is it, Meloetta?" Weiss sleepily asked.

"Jackson, Seth, and Vanessa! I think they're in trouble!" At those words, everyone was wide awake.

"'Trouble'?! What do you mean 'trouble'?!" Jaune asked.

"I don't know! I was out for some air and saw them battling each other!" The info served to worry them even more.

"Take us to them!" Ruby insisted.

Back to the battle, Vanessa and Jackson stood with their Pokemon, as they stared down Seth and Lyanne. The latter pair stared at the newly-made small, rocky dome in shock, wondering how they were going to get their Pokemon out of their situation.

"So, are you ready to talk now? I don't see a way for you guys to get out of this mess as you are now," Vanessa asked.

"LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING, LYANNE THE LATIAS IN DISGUISE AND SETH MUTO THE POKEHUMAN! KROKOROK FOUGHT TRAINERS TOUGHER THAN YOU, HUNTSMEN EVEN TOUGHER THAN THEM, AND POKEMON EVEN MORE TOUGHER!" Krokorok shouted.

"I take great offense to that," Leafeon shouted from the dome, especially considering this is coming from a Pokemon who is weaker than her in type advantage.

"Come on, Florges! That can't be all you got! I know you're stronger than that!" Dedenne said, still acting all happy-go-lucky.

As Florges was getting a bit of healing from Grassy Terrain, the last bit of healing she could get until it had dissipated, she slowly got back up. "Easy for you to say," she grumbled.

"You guys are making it sound like we're a bunch of pushovers. Amateurs who know nothing," Seth said.

"If you weren't, you would've beaten me, especially considering my Pokemon's condition, even if Jackson was helping me," Vanessa said.

"You know, she's kind of right about that. I'm not even using my best Pokemon for this. In fact, my best Pokemon is being used against me! And yet, here we are beating you guys! Something is definitely wrong here!" Jackson exclaimed.

"Jackson... I know the point you're making, but I feel my pride get crushed by your words..." Dedenne muttered, a small cloud of depression hanging over his head.

Feeling slightly sorry for the Antenna Pokemon, especially since she knew herself how much stronger he had gotten since the last she saw him, Vanessa then added, "In any case, if you guys are just off your game, I am much more inclined to agree on that but I can't. From what I've heard, Seth, you're practically on par with Jackson when it comes to Pokemon Battles. And Lyanne, even if you are a Legendary Pokemon, I know you have some kind of experience in battles, especially if you're usually disguised as a human. You both know exactly why you're getting beaten easily, don't you?"

"What are you talking about?" Seth questioned, suppressing his slight rage forming in him.

"Your own worries, of course! You can't let that hold you down in any way, shape, or form! Forget the Dark Legendaries, if Neo Team Flare appears right now, you two would definitely have trouble against even Team CRDL! It's better to get that out in the open right now while you have the chance! Confess what you're so worried about!"

"We're not worried about anything!" Lyanne denied.

"Maybe it isn't 'worries' as it is 'conflicts'," Jackson retorted. "You guys have been acting really off today. If you dismiss Vanessa saying such, I don't blame you since she hasn't been around long. But me? Guys, we've been having each other's backs for a long time! And I know when something's very blandin' wrong with my friends!"

"Like you're one to talk about there being something wrong with us!" Leafeon shouted. "Here you are, acting like you have a heart now. Where was that heart earlier?!"

"Which brings me back to the question of 'what the bladin' hell are you talking about'?!"

"What's going on here?!" came a voice. The trainers and their Pokemon turned and saw a certain group of teens rushing over to them.

"Why are you guys battling out here?!" Jaune asked. "If this is training, it sure doesn't look like it!"

"You're right, Jaune. This isn't training," Vanessa confirmed. "And as for the why, ask them. They're the ones who are dealing with a conflict they refuse to admit."

"'Conflict'? What are you talking about?" Blake asked.

"Exactly what we've been asking them all day," Jackson said. "So tell us, Seth, Lyanne. What are we talking about? Why are we having this battle?"

This brought all attention over to the pair. Even Florges was staring at her trainer and their partners, completely confused with the whole mess she was brought into.

"Now that she mentioned it, I didn't bring this up before but... there's something off about you three for quite a while now," Meloetta spoke. "The songs in your hearts... They're wavering. As Vanessa said, something is bothering you."

"Seth, what are you guys hiding from us?" Yang asked.

The trio glanced at each other, knowing full well that they couldn't keep the thought in them any longer. "You want to know what's wrong? The fact that you guys are leaving us and seem okay with it!" Seth finally admitted, much to the huntsmen's shock.

"As petty as it is, it's true," Leafeon also admitted. "After all the adventures we've been through, going home was all you guys had been talking about all day. You even said you wouldn't be finishing the journey you guys started as trainers; you'll just be finding a way back to your world for the remainder of your time here, however long that is. None of you... None of you considered to ask us our opinion about your decision. Though we were aware that once Vanessa is found, you all would be thinking about returning to your home world, the fact that you guys truly acted in such a way, as though we were never around during your adventure... Do you have any idea how hurt we were when you brushed us off like that?"

"We understand what it's like to want to go home, especially when you were forced out of your world, but even so, we had hoped to have some more meaningful adventures along the way," Lyanne added, trembling slightly. "Even if there is a chance that you all may eventually return here, how do we know you can even find a way back here? If... if you all leave... it may be permanent..." She then turned to Jackson. "Jackson... you knew there will come a time when they may leave. Heck, you knew it may be soon, and yet... You don't seem to care that they may never return when they find a way back. In fact, you don't seem to be bothered that they will be leaving, especially Blake. And to think I thought you'd have more heart about this situation... I was incredibly wrong about you!"

At those words, those thoughts, those confessions, everyone looked down in shame. As the trio said, ever since Vanessa was completely recovered, all they thought was how to get back to Remnant. Yang and Blake, especially, felt bad for what they did. The two made their other half think they didn't mind the possibility of... never seeing them again, if it meant going home. Thinking about it now, made the two members of RWBY feel even worse.

Out of everyone, though, there were two who were actually quite confused or relieved of the situation.

"Huh? I thought you guys were coming along with us," Ruby said.

At those words, everyone looked back at her, extremely puzzled.

"Come again?" Leafeon asked.

"Yeah. Weren't you guys going to come with us to our world? Jackson said he would come along; I thought it'd be the same for you guys, too. Well, Leafeon is his Pokemon, so that's pretty much a given. At least, I thought it should be."

"And it should. And now it explains why you guys have been acting funny all day. But, I didn't think I was the only one who thought of following these guys to their world. I could've sworn you wanted to go with them, too," Jackson said. "Like you said, after everything we've been through together, it'd be more than just rude to part ways when we find a way back."

"Plus, you introduced us to a whole bunch of things during our time in the Pokemon World," Ruby added. "Once we find that portal home, we're going to give you guys a grand tour of Remnant! ... Well, Vale! ... Actually, Beacon Academy! No wait, we have rest days and can visit Vale, so yeah! Vale! Oh, but first we need to report back to the headmaster about the mission and introduce you guys to him. If you're lucky, maybe he'll set up another transfer initiation like he did to Vanessa. Then again, since you guys have a bunch of Pokemon knowledge, you could help Vanessa teach classes, so there's a possibility that you guys would be teachers instead, especially since you guys can all hold your own in battle. Especially Lyanne, since she is a Pokemon herself. Plus, if Jackson is helping Vanessa, I don't have to worry about spending restless nights inventing things and my fingers being stiff like last time. And besides, even if we do find that portal, it's not like we're going to leave immediately, unless if we have to, that is. We still have to deal with Neo Team Flare, after all, especially Cardin and his team. Even if they did change to the dark side, we're not going back home without them. That's our responsibility as classmates and huntsmen."

Hearing the girl speak out her assumption for the future, what she wanted and hoped to happen in the near future brought smiles on everyone's faces, as well as relief on a few's. It also made the specific few individuals feel stupid for ever worrying about the majority's leave in the first place.

Lyanne looked to Jackson, asking again for confirmation, "Wait, so the whole reason why you weren't worried was because you had already planned to go with them?"

"You'd really think I just let everything end after they leave? Heck no!" he answered. "First of all, I've traveled to a couple of worlds to know that there is still more adventures to seek out. And secondly..." He looked to the group of Remnant trainers, specifically Blake. "I just can't seem to part from the people I gained a strong bond with." Blake looked back at Jackson, realizing he was talking about her. She averted her gaze, blushing at his comment, but smiling.

Leafeon, Lyanne and Seth looked to one another, then looked ashamed as Seth stated, "Boy, did I not think enough on that. I didn't even think there was THAT option."

"I agree/Seconded." Lyanne and Leafeon agreed.

"Jeez, you guys are too sharp to be blunt with your honesty," Jackson stated, shaking his head at their lack of communication. "Now that you guys have cleared the air with your concerns, do you wanna continue the battle, or throw in the towel?"

Lyanne and Seth looked to each other, then back at the pair, along with their Pokemon.

"LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING, SETH MUTO AND LYANNE WHO IS SECRETLY THE POKEMON LATIAS!" Krokorok called them out. "YOU AND YOUR POKEMON CAN SAVE THE EMBARRASSMENT OF LOSING TO US BY FORFEITING NOW, BUT YOU'LL STILL LOOK LIKE A COUPLE OF BABIES IF YOU GIVE UP ON US BEATING THE CRAP OUT OF YOU!"

"Not helping, Krokorok!" Vanessa scolded her partner, while Jackson and Dedenne looked to him with sweat-dropped expressions.

"Well, now. We can't just let them walk away with that kind of threat," Leafeon stated, looking to Florges with a sinister glare. "Should we treat them with the same respect as they gave us?"

"I would be more than happy to put them in their place!" Florges answered, understandably angry at Krokorok's taunt.

"I guess we should join in on our Pokemon's feelings, shouldn't we?" Lyanne asked Seth.

"Absolutely." he answered, "Let's continue! Florges, Moonblast the two of you out of there!"

Florges unleashed a blast of moon energy up at the ceiling of the Rock Tomb, causing it to break apart, and free the pair as they leapt out.

"Flash!" Jackson called out.

"Going from in the dark into the LIGHT!" the Antenna Pokemon shouted, bursting with a light from his body that blinded the pair.

"Use Shadow Claw!" Vanessa ordered.

"EAT THIS!" Krokorok leapt up at the blinded pair with a shadowy claw, ready to take them out.

"Seth!" Lyanne shouted.

"Don't worry. I got it!" he answered. "Florges, Petal Blizzard!" His partner spun around, unleashing the storm of leaves that went flying all around like a cyclone, hitting both Leafeon and Krokorok. Leafeon was taking the hits fine, since it was not very effective. For Krokorok, however, that attack did some major damage, and he was sent crashing down into the ground next to Dedenne.

"You okay?!" Dedenne asked.

Krokorok got back up, rubbing his head with his claw, before shaking and shouting, "IS THAT ALL YOU GOT?!"

"Leafeon, Leaf Blade!" Lyanne shouted.

"Will this be a simple enough answer?!" she answered, spinning down in a front roll, with her tail shining a green hue as she readied to smack down Krokorok.

"Dedenne, protect him with Iron Tail!" Jackson shouted. Dedenne bounded up in front of his partner, spinning in a sideways roll as his tail became metallic, gaining enough momentum before striking Leafeon's tail with his own. The pair pushed off against one another, with Dedenne being caught by Krokorok as he was almost sent flying. Leafeon flipped off, bouncing off of her front paws before getting all four on the ground.

"Not bad, Dedenne! You've certainly mastered the move I taught you." Leafeon commented.

"Oh, NOW you compliment that move!" Dedenne scolded. "You didn't even say ANYTHING about it in this entire battle before now!"

"That was then. This is now."

"It was about a minute ago!"

"Focus, Dedenne! That's in the past!" Jackson called out. "Let's keep our heads in the game!"

"I guess you and I both have Pokemon who get angry easily, don't we?" Vanessa asked.

"Just wait till you meet my competitive Dewott..."

"Florges, Grassy Terrain!" Seth called out.

"Let's reset the stage!" Florges said, reverting the field back to its healing, flower field state.

"And add some light to those flowers. Sunny Day!" Lyanne shouted. Leafeon concentrated, before firing energy into the sky that created the sun that dawned upon the group.

"They've got the field set. Double time," Vanessa noticed.

"I can see where this is going." Jackson understood.

"Sunny Day AND Grassy Terrain?!" Nora exclaimed.

"Hold on. I thought there could only be one weather effect on the field at a time?" Ruby questioned.

"Grassy Terrain isn't a weather effect, you dunce!" Weiss retorted. "It's a field effect. Those two things are completely different."

"Oh, right..." Ruby realized her error.

"I'll ask Vanessa to teach you on the difference later," Crescythe stated, causing Ruby to grimace.

"We can't let them win this just yet!" Jackson declared. "Dedenne, Iron Tail on Florges!" Dedenne coated his tail in a metallic aura again, and charged at the Fairy-type Pokémon.

"Krokorok! Let's Dig!" Vanessa called out, and her partner went underground.

"Jump, Florges!"

"You, too, Leafeon!"

Seth and Lyanne called out, causing their Pokemon to leap upwards, with Florges avoiding Dedenne's tail swing. Krokorok flew out of the ground, trying to get an attack on them, only for them to be too high to reach.

"Don't let them get away! Parabolic Charge!" Jackson shouted.

"You can't get away from me!" he shouted, bounding upwards and unleashing electricity that went towards the pair in the air.

"Krokorok, unleash your Rock Tomb!" Vanessa called out.

"EAT ROCK!" he shouted, summoning boulders to shoot upwards to entrap the pair.

"Too easy," Leafeon stated, seeing the two attacks coming at them.

"Solarbeam/Moonblast!" Seth and Lyanne called out together.

Thanks to the sunlight in the sky, the Solarbeam was easy to charge for the Verdant Pokemon, before she fired the beam down, along with Florges's attack. The combined pink and sun-yellow attacks merged together in a spiraling blast of energy that not only easily destroyed Dedenne and Krokorok's attacks, but also struck Dedenne and Krokorok simultaneously. The attack created an explosion from the ground that everyone endured with all their might. When it cleared, Dedenne and Krokorok were on their backs, unconscious.

"Looks like that's the end of the match," Jaune noticed as Ruby got up, racing onto the field, with everyone else behind her.

Jackson and Vanessa came to their Pokemon's side, with the former holding Dedenne in his hands, while the latter raised Krokorok upwards.

"You doing okay?" Vanessa asked.

"K-... Krokorok just saw the sun and the moon hit him," he groaned. "But Krokorok still fought hard."

"True. Though, we were still outclassed by everyone else, really," Vanessa admitted.

"That attack was pretty intense to endure, that's for sure," Jackson stated, pulling out a pair of Oran Berries, tossing one to Vanessa.

Seth, Lyanne, Leafeon and Florges joined the pair, as did everyone else.

"Well, if you guys actually went all out on us, it would've been a bit different," Seth stated.

"Gone all out?" Ruby echoed, confused.

"Meaning both Jackson and Vanessa were going easy on the pair," Blake understood. "You two gave them the type advantage on purpose, didn't you?"

"Is that true?" Lyanne asked Jackson and Vanessa.

"Well... We did go all out, based on your mindsets before the fight," Vanessa pointed out. "You guys were so dishonest, keeping what your problems were inside, that we figured that even using Pokemon who didn't have a type advantage could beat you unless you truly opened up."

"In other words, beating you guys with the Pokemon we picked would rub salt into the wounds you were trying to hide," Jackson summed up.

"Gee, thanks for caring..." Leafeon muttered.

"Our point is that we still fought you with all we had, trying to break you out of your shells," Vanessa continued, standing straight after Krokorok healed from the berry. "You have to realize that those kinds of things you were burdening are stuff you shouldn't hold back on us at all."

"She's right," Crescythe agreed, approaching Leafeon. "The worst thing you would make us feel is the inability to help out when you have a problem like that."

Leafeon looked down, realizing that they were right. She also looked to her trainer, as did Lyanne, while he had Dedenne crawl onto his shoulder, recovered from eating the berry.

"Jackson, I'm sorry for yelling at you and getting angry with you before," Lyanne apologized. "We jumped the gun on our assumption that you didn't care, and I apologize."

"I'm sorry, too, Jackson," Leafeon followed. "Honestly, I should've realized you did care, and would never abandon Blake and everyone else that easily."

"Eh, it's okay," Jackson responded casually. "We all have our moments where we forget something like that. Just try to live and learn from this, alright?"

"So, it'll be okay for me to come along with, right?" Seth asked, looking to Yang. "You know, back to your world?"

"Duh! Why wouldn't it be okay?!" Yang answered, punching him in the shoulder hard, making him massage it in pain. "You guys would be a natural in our world. B'sides, it just wouldn't feel right without you."

Seth rubbed his shoulder, but smiled at her. He could say the same exact thing about Yang.

"There will still be a lot of things we outta prepare for, though," Jackson pointed out. "The first thing will be how to set up so as to send all the Pokemon we have on standby with us. I'll have to talk this over with Diantha or someone else who we can trust about how to bring them with us to the other world."

"I'd certainly wanna make sure I bring everyone with us," Leafeon agreed. "We also have to have a place where they can relax while not in use."

"Oh! Maybe we can send them to our school! Or maybe home to Patch!" Ruby suggested. "I'm sure we can figure something out."

"Seems like we have more planning than we originally thought," Pyrrha admitted.

"But we first need to at least find a way back home," Ren admitted.

"And make sure Team CFVY returns with us, along with CRDL, I guess," Weiss added.

"I am certainly interested in what your world is like," Meloetta stated.

"And we still have other things to accomplish in this world, too," Seth noted. "The Kalos League, Pokemon Performances, Neo Team Flare. I mean, I know you guys practically said you don't want to do the first two, but while we're looking for a way back, it'd still be wrong as trainers and performer to not finish those. We really need to make a list of things to do and concerns."

"We'll make one," Vanessa added. "But right now, let's go back into town. All this fighting and worrying over my friends is making me thirsty. I could REALLY use a good lemonade right now."

"I could use a drink of something, too," Jackson agreed, as they ventured out of the route, back towards Anistar City again. "I think I'll have a coffee, though."

"I would like some juice," Jaune stated.

"Then once we get back, let's all move onward on our adventure together!" Ruby cheered.

"YEAH!" Everyone cheered at the idea, most of them punching the air in their declaration.
