*some cute Christmas Lindanny*

"Dad, can I use your credit card?"

"I thought you had all your shopping done." Frank told his eldest.

"I do. For the family anyways. I was so busy trying to find the kid a Funky Franky, that I forgot about Linda's gift. So can I borrow your credit card? I'll pay it back."

Frank smiled, "sure. Just don't go overboard."

"Me? Overboard?" Danny smiled, "thanks, Dad."

"Hi, how much is it to buy the entirety of the chocolate orange creamer things?" Danny wondered, standing at the counter.

The clerk, Mac, shrugged, "oh, I dunno. A buck fifty or so."

"A dollar fifty?"

"No, kid. A thousand and fifty."

"A thousand fifty bucks?" The boy whistled low, "she's worth it, but my dad's credit card wouldn't think so!"

"Oh yeah? Who's the girl?"

"Linda."

"O'Shea?"

"Yeah, why?"

"She's our best costumer! Right, Frankie?"

"What?" The New Yorker looked to his friend.

"Linda O'Shea is our best costumer." The clerk, Mac, repeated.

"Oh yeah. Blondie."

Danny interjected, "how much can I buy for fifty bucks?"

Linda O'Shea was glad that the Reagans had graciously invited her whole family for Christmas dinner. She was going to spend the morning with her family, then the lot of them were going to spend the afternoon with the Reagans. Her parents weren't too thrilled, but when Linda and Jimmy started pleading nonstop, they finally caved.

The O'Sheas were met by Mary and Danny; Mary gave out hugs, and Linda got a kiss from Danny.

"Come on," Danny grabbed her hand, "I wanna give you your gift."

"Ooh, Lemme get yours." She reached into the backseat of the car. She took Danny's hand, and he led her into the house. They sat down in front of the Christmas tree, where the gifts were already unwrapped.

Danny retrieved a small box and gave it to Linda. "Here."

She smiled and tore the paper off, then opened the black box. "Oh, Danny. It's beautiful," she held up the gold necklace, a rose pendant hanging from the thin chain.

"What do you think?"

"I think you spent too much money!"

"Oh, no. This was a gift. My crazy Aunt Edna gave all of us similar things. She said that I could keep it if I turned out weird-"

Linda laughed out loud.

"Or I could save it, and give it to someone special.., and you're that someone."

"That's so sweet. Help me put it on?" She lifted her hair out of the way, and Danny clasped the hook. "Thank you. It's gorgeous." The blonde handed him hers, "here's your present. I hope you like it."

"I'm sure I will," Danny tore the paper off, and opened the white box. He picked up the leather jacket, "oh, wow. Linda, this is... wow."

"You like? I figured since I stole yours, you needed a new one. Plus, now we can be matchies!"

Danny smiled at her, she was so cute. "Thank you. This is great." He kissed her cheek, "lemme get the next half of your present."

"There's more?" Linda looked behind her, watching Danny her a box. He placed it in front of her, then sat across from the blonde. "Wow. What's this?"

"You gotta open it to find out!"

Linda quickly opened the package, her mouth dropping, "Danny! What- what- how-"

"Initially I wanted to buy you the whole stock, but that was way above my budget. So there's about twelve pounds of chocolate in there."

"Stork's Orange Creams? Oh my gosh, Danny!" Linda lunges herself at him, hugging him tightly. "Thank you! I don't- this is great. You're the best boyfriend ever, you know?"

Danny smiled, "only because I have the best girlfriend ever."

She pulled back, "Merry Christmas, Danny."

"Merry Christmas." He kissed her lips sweetly, getting abruptly interrupted by Jamie's excited, "Linda!!"

Danny smiled as Linda hugged Jamie; the teenager really did have the best girlfriend. Which was going to make his announcement about leaving to join the Marines so much harder. He knew he wasn't going to announce it until February of the new year, but he knew it was going to be hard to say goodbye to everyone, especially Linda.
