Jim Bob and Emma had never been the best of friends. Of course they had a bond just like every Walton sibling did, but they hadn't been as close when they were younger. But now as most of her siblings weren't living at the house anymore, they had found themselves becoming closer every day.

"Morning." Jim Bob yawned as he trailed down the stairs at noon.

"Afternoon." Emma corrected, biting her cheek to stop herself from laughing. Charlie jumped up from the bench and grabbed his uncle's hand.

"How old are you?"

"Twelve."

"No, really! I bet you are sixty three!"

Jim Bob smiled. "I'm only twenty five. I'm not THAT old... yet."

That night at supper, when Drew was there, Elizabeth looked nervous. Emma guessed that she was going to announce her departure to Europe.

"I have some news." Elizabeth said shortly. "I am going to be traveling to France for a while." Olivia looked at her youngest daughter, shell shocked. Drew was staring at his girlfriend. "It's been a hard decision, but I'd like to travel a while before settling down with you Drew."

"Can I not come with you?" He said desperately.

Elizabeth looked flustered. "I-if you really want to spend the rest of our lives together, you'll wait." She dropped her fork and stormed out of the house. Serena stood up but John shook his head at her.

After supper, Ben followed the sound of crying up to the old tree house. All through her childhood Elizabeth had been known to cry up there. When Ben climbed up his face softened at the sight of his little sister crying her eyes out.

"Lizabeth?"

"Oh Ben. I've made up my mind and I'm not changing anything."

"I know." Ben shuffled over and took Elizabeth in his arms, where they hugged and comforted each other.
