Sorry this one was also a bit late, I actually lost track of the days and didn't realize what day it was. Anyway, onto the chapter, I hope you enjoy.

Inverted Sky: Kingdom Hearts II

Chapter 94: The Caribbean part XIII

Sora and Davy Jones spent almost fifteen minutes speaking to one another, yet they found themselves unable to come to a full agreement. Whether due to the former's unobtainable desire to give everyone what they wanted, or the latter's unwillingness to trust in anyone involved. They were however, able to come to an accord on the fact that Davy Jones should have his heart back at the end of everything. All the while, Norrington kept guard over the chest in order to ensure that Sora still had leverage over the pirate captain.

But as this time passed, they all suddenly heard the sound of something large approaching, along with a series of screams. Sora quickly jumped to her feet along with Jones, to which they looked out to see what appeared to be a water mill rolling out from the jungle and onto the shoreline. Though, it slowly lost speed and fell to one side after losing all momentum. After it had, three figures wobbly emerged from the inside and fell into the shallow water around them.

This trio clearly being Jack, Elizabeth and Turner. The first managing to move better than the others, as all his years of drinking rum was now coming in handy. Yet it still took a few moments for him to gain his bearings and move toward the chest. As he did however, Jack noticed the motionless creatures around Norrington, to which his attention shifted toward the Flying Dutchman behind him.

Upon seeing Davy Jones looking down at him from the deck of the ship, Jack immediately started running even faster toward the chest. This made Sora sigh heavily as she teleported herself next to Norrington, at which point, she picked up the container and put it under her arm. "Hold on a second." she called out, holding her other hand out toward the man.

Whom came to a stumbling stop as he blinked a few times to the teen, him only now noticing the change in her hair color. But he didn't bother making mention of it now, as Sora let out a breath and gave him a serious gaze. "You're going to have to trust me on this." she whispered silently, before suddenly teleporting back onto the deck of the Flying Dutchman.

"Alright...how about this, I give you your heart...and you undo Jack's debt to you." she stated in a firm tone.

"As well as free Turner's father from your service." Sora added, recalling this to be what Turner himself had wanted.

The girl then glanced over to Norrington off to the side, all while silently promising to him and herself that she would help the man get back on his feet. "Is that acceptable?" Sora questioned in an almost demanding manner, turning back to face Davy Jones.

Said man gazed to her for a few long moments, unsure of whether or not he should take this offer. But with a brief glance toward the chest under the teen's arm, he let out a breath and nodded his head slowly. "Fine-a. We have an accord." he almost seemed to grumble, still not liking the fact that he was still getting blackmailed into this agreement.

Sora sighed heavily in relief before holding a hand out, leading for Jones to take her offered hand. It being rather slimy, as the tendril-like finger unconsciously wrapping around the girl's wrist. However, the two finally came to an agreement, as they seemed to have an unspoken understanding of each other. After releasing one anothers hands, Sora presented the chest to the man, despite Jack calling out for her not to. Said pirate captain claiming that Jones would betray them all, without care for any code or honor.

Sora gave the chest to Davy Jones before her gaze shifted toward a panicking Jack Sparrow. As she watched him pace a bit while trying to think of a way out of this, the teen tilted her head down in thought. Her pondering something a few moments before slowly taking on a small smile, like a sudden epiphany came to her. "I understand that you might not like, or agree to this!" she called out in an impressively authoritative voice, leading for everyone to turn to her almost immediately.

"But I firmly believe that if all of you can come to an agreement...and honor it, there is no reason for there not to be a peace between everyone!" Sora continued, making her way across the deck of the Flying Dutchman.

Everyone's eyes following her slowly, all as Teng came a bit closer to this whole scene. Mulan and Vincent joined him soon after, the three having stayed back to talk amongst themselves this whole time. All the while, Sora made her way to the middle of the ship as she spoke once more. "You all might be pirates, but there is still a sense of honor within every single one of you!"

She then glanced around to each individual, all of whom were just staring at her in surprise, and a bit of enthrallment. "So I ask, try to form a truce...try to form an alliance! See to it that everyone will be pleased with the outcome! You should be able to sail the seas, not as people with grudges, and blackness in their hearts! But as free pirates!" Sora stated, actually leading for many of Jones' crew to start clapping and cheering in response.

While this was silenced by a quick glance from Davy Jones himself, it was clear from the atmosphere, that she got through to most of them. Which was made even more apparent as Turner and Elizabeth gave a nod of their head in agreement to the teen's words. Though, just as Sora was about to finish off her speech, a beam of light came down from the sky and surrounded her. Despite the same happening to Teng, Mulan and Vincent, everyone's attention was too focused on her to notice.

During this, Sora slowly began to rise up into the air as she knew this to be the teleportation from the Gummi ship. In a slight panic as to why this was happening, she simply gave a few quick words before suddenly vanishing. "Please try to make this work!"

And with that, the teen vanished along with the other three. Meanwhile, everyone was left completely stunned as, in their eyes, she was either an angel or Goddess who just ascended into the heavens. But as the four appeared in the Gummi ship, the display screen showed Merlin in a clear panic. This also being evident in his voice as he quickly spoke up after seeing the group materialize. "Sora! Thank goodness!" he called out in relief, adjusting his glasses as the lenses seemed to be cracked slightly.

It being then that they each noticed where the wizard himself currently was. The glowing lights and designs of the background were very reminiscent of the computer room within Ansem's Castle. "I apologize for interrupting, but the Organization has launched an attack against the Castle here in Hollow Bastion!" the elder man claimed quickly, causing each of the four's eyes to widen.

"We assume they're trying to regain access to the Heartless producing machine here!" Merlin explained, just as the screen seemed to shake slightly from some kind of large impact.

"We've gathered our forces to hold them at bay, but I don't know how much longer we'll be able keep them back! So please, return as quickly as you can!" he finished, just as the transmission seemed to be cut.

Seeing this, Sora's eyes narrowed slightly before she swiftly turned around to face the others. "It'll take us fifteen minutes to get there, even with maximum speed. So we're going to have to use a corridor of darkness to make it on time." she stated while looking down briefly.

"I can open a path." Teng suggested, taking a step forward, but stopped as Sora shook her head.

"I need you to take Mulan back home, I'll open a path for Vincent and I so we don't lose any time." the brown-haired girl claimed, her being the only one with the access to fly the Gummi ship.

With a slow nod in acknowledgment and agreement, Teng stepped up beside Mulan. Said teen giving a slow and understanding nod of her head toward Sora as they locked eyes. "I'm sorry for this." the brown-haired girl said in a clearly saddened tone.

Mulan simply shook her head, offering an encouraging smile. "Like I said before, it's alright. Just make sure to stay safe while you're out helping your other friends." she claimed with a quick thumbs up.

Sora blinked a few times, to which a small, yet confident smile curled her lips. "Of course. You stay safe too." she said softly as her signature grin became visible.

After this, Teng placed a hand to Mulan's shoulder and created a corridor of darkness around them. Him allowing a moment for the two girl's to wave their goodbyes, before vanishing from sight. Following the pair's leaving, Sora let out a breath and turned to Vincent as he gave a silent stare; "Lets go." she said silently while turning toward the front of the ship and lifting a hand out.

"I never really thought I'd have to use this power...it reminds me too much of Xemnas to be comfortable using it." the teen whispered silently to herself, both eyes narrowing slightly.

Out in the darkness of space, an even darker swirl of energy began to spin into existence. This forming a portal roughly the size of the ship. Once it appeared fully, Sora then moved into the pilot seat, after moving Zola's sleeping form from it of course. Following her sitting down, Sora flew the ship into and through this portal. A split second later, a blue sky filled their vision. There being large white clouds surrounding them, and the sun almost directly overhead.

But after a brief few seconds, both Sora and Vincent noticed a multitude of flying Heartless rising up toward the ship. This made the former narrow her eyes once more, before quickly turning the ship to the side. Not only to escape these pursuers, but also to get a better look at the ground below. The craft flying over the large canyon of blue-shaded stone, but all across the gorge, were thousands of Heartless swarming forward.

Sora's eyes widened yet again, yet she just engaged the boosters in order to reach Ansem's castle faster. "Looks like this is going to be a pretty big fight." she said silently, trying to mask her worry.

Vincent nodded his head briefly in agreement, but looked out the dome once more with a narrowed gaze. Him seeing many figures fighting against the Heartless on the front-lines, some of whom he recognized. "It seems so, but fortunately...we won't be alone." he commented, all as Sora brought the ship down to rest in the small courtyard just outside the castle entrance.

She then opened the dome with a quick press of a button, before looking to Zola. "Stay right here, protect the castle...okay?" she said softly with a small smile.

Zola yawned a bit from this as she was enjoying a nice nap until now, yet she gave a quick nudge with her nose in order to confirm Sora's words. This making the teen smile a bit wider, to which her gaze turned toward Ursa as he seemed to just continue mimicking the leopard. "And I want you to stay close to Zola, keep each other safe, alright?" she said in a gentle manner, earning a nudge from Ursa as well.

Sora nodded her head to this as she then jumped out of the ship, landing next to Vincent as he already exited. She then glanced around with a quick scan of the area, there not appearing to be any Heartless. There was however, signs that there was a recent battle that took place. "Looks like something got through here." she muttered silently while summoning her Keyblade.

"You go on ahead toward the battle." Vincent said suddenly, making the teen look at him with blinking eyes.

"I'll handle things here." he continued, placing a hand to his gun in its holster.

Sora raised a brow briefly before she gave a slow nod in response; "Alright, that's okay by me." she said, taking a few steps forward and squatting slightly to ready herself to jump.

"Time to go to work." the teen uttered quietly before she seemed to vanish, leaving behind a burst of wind that blew around Vincent.

His cloak billowed out behind him for a few seconds, yet soon settled as he closed both eyes briefly. "I assume you're here for her." he said suddenly, turning toward the heavily shaded entrance.

A shadowed figure slowly stepped forward, as a deep and dangerous sounding voice spoke from it. "If you're actively keeping her from me, you must know what she is."

Vincent's eyes narrowed a bit more as he turned fully to face this person; "Perhaps...but just what is it you want from her? Shouldn't the others be enough for you?" he almost demanded as he slowly lifted his gun away from the holster.

"Now Vincent...are you saying that should I give up on my dear little sister?" the figure questioned before a flash of movement.

In the blink of an eye, Vincent lifted his gun up and blocked a long blade with the barrel. The two weapons sparking slightly as elegant silver hair drifted down around this other man. Emerald eyes focusing on crimson ones, as the two stared daggers at one another. "Not everyone who has been infected by Jenova is your sibling...Sephiroth."

And there you have it, Sephiroth finally makes his appearance. But just what could he want with Sora? Well, you'll have to wait till next month since I'm starting my break now. I've had really bad burn out the past two months, and while I've tried to work through it, it's been really tough. So I'm gonna take my break now and start back up with the weekly updates starting on the 2nd of May. Anyway, I hope all of you enjoyed and will let me know what you thought. Until next time.
