We quickly rejoined King T'challa in the main situation room area. There his tribal elders and other senior staff assembled quickly to deal with the crisis that had arisen. "So far twelve bombs have gone off throughout the country my king; five in the capital alone," it was reported. "Casualties?" "Estimates indicate a thousand at the moment but that could swiftly change."
"My king...a transmission is coming through. It is from the crocodile cult!" "Put it up."
"I am Priest Garash, chief servant of the mighty Sobek. I am here to tell the followers of Bast, and indeed the world, that the days of dishonor and disgrace shall be rendered no more. For too long the great and venerable Sobek has been forgotten while Bast basked in the adoration of her tyrannical panther followers. I am here to tell you the days of the blank panther tribe and its dominion over the people of Wakanda is at an end. This is the will of Sobek; the will of the mighty crocodile god."
"My king - the Chinese fleet has come to a halt off the coast of Somalia... They are launching fighter squadrons into African airspace; they will reach ours within minutes. Our forces are already on full alert." "Alert Shield and our other international allies."
T'challa prepared to go directly into battle. "My king," I said. "Let me and Peter handle the front line air defenses; your place is here." His eyes narrowed; he didn't like that but understood the wisdom in it. He gave a small nod. "Honey let's go," I said. We enabled our suits and were airborne shortly later. We flew supersonic with the Wakandan fighters for the east...and for the Chinese air force coming our way.

China had the numbers as they usually did; but we had the tech advantage. A number of Wakandan air fighters flew beside us as wing men, and like us had solid stealth tech. We were already cleared hot to engage; the fight would occur over Somalian airspace. Kenya was an ally of Wakanda and had their fighters in the air too; but Wakanda would lead the way.
"They're entering primary weapons range," said the Wakandan fighter group commander. "Copy that," I said. "We'll engage at will."
Peter and I angled off and fired off the first of our nano generated suit missiles. We took out a few Chinese fighters then/there. That was it; battle was now underway. The enemy fired missiles but we used hand repulsors to blast their missiles to dust; they couldn't track us well anyway. The Wakandan fighters opened up and this major air battle was now fact for all. There was still concern about the terror attacks in Wakanda but that was best left to the king to handle.
Peter and I drew near more enemy fighters and shot out more repulsor blasts/beams to blast them out of the sky. Still they came, like hornets without end. The Wakandan fighters were to our aerial left as we did battle. Two flanking enemy jets fired canons to hit Peter and knock him from the air. I was quick to punch through one and hit another's cockpit with a repulsor blast to destroy both. This bought Peter time to regain control of his suit and get back into the fight. "Thanks babe!" "No problem honey. Look sharp." It wasn't the battle of Britain but it was hardly dull either. More enemy, many more, were incoming...
