One Week Later

Chateau Linnis, France

Lucius and Narcissa are gone. Kadir thought angrily as he stormed from the room that used to be theirs after seeing they and their things were gone. I've been betrayed.

Rage filled his heart as he went into the library of books he had forcefully acquired from the houses of former Death Eaters. His original plan to take control of MACUSA and use their laws and hatred of Muggles to gain control of the British Ministry had now been defeated because of Lucius's attack on MACUSA. There was now tension between MACUSA and the Ministry, however, because the Ministry was refusing to let the evacuees return home.

That decree had prompted Interim Minister Roger Taylor to issue Kingsley an ultimatum; they needed to be allowed back to America by the start of term at Ilvermony or else he would lead them back anyway. Kingsley had tried to handle the situation diplomatically by offering to hold a mass service for those who had died, but Roger said they would handle it in America, as was proper. Kingsley's argument was that it was too dangerous for them.

The Prophet had gotten information on the rising tensions and was now reporting on the rising tensions. Desperate to hang on to what they had left, any American evacuees who were able to leave St. Mungo's had left and were now camping alongside their colleagues in Hogsmeade. George and Angelina, Aberforth Dumbledore, Hannah Longbottom, and the other shopkeepers had done their best to get the evacuees whatever they needed.

Kadir couldn't help but smirk as he looked at the latest copy of the Daily Prophet that was again discussing the tensions between Wizarding Britain and Wizarding America. There were also several articles outlining the need for supplies and housing for the evacuees, as Kingsley was remaining firm in his resolve and was even offering Ilvermony the chance to send students over to Hogwarts, Beaubaxtons, and Durmstrang if it was not safe by start of term.

"The tension will eventually become too much," Kadir murmured softly. "It will…"

Another article suddenly caught Kadir's eye and he smirked, as it was perfect.

HARRY POTTER NAMED HEAD OF MAGICAL LAW ENFORCEMENT IN LIGHT OF TENSIONS BETWEEN WIZARDING BRITAIN AND WIZARDING AMERICA! PROMISES TO BRING PEACE TO CHAOS! The title sat above a photo of a somber looking Harry Potter wearing full Auror robes with his wand out, "James Potter's father," Kadir murmured. "A shame that you won't get to enjoy that title for long. When I am ready, we will bring the hammer down…"

Eager to prepare, Kadir snapped his fingers and a book flew to his hands from the shelf. He would use everything and everyone he could get his hands on to destroy the Light for good.

"Even if I have to turn to the past, the future will be mine," Kadir muttered darkly, smirking before he set the book on the side table and rose. "I need to call for a meeting. Runcorn!"

Runcorn, who had been residing with Kadir since Lucius and Narcissa's disappearances under the guise of being in America and helping with the crisis, came into the room and bowed.

"Runcorn, who can be spared for a meeting?" Kadir asked in a cold voice, showing him the latest issue of the Prophet. "It appears that the Ministry of Magic has gone to the dogs."

Runcorn's eyes narrowed at the sight of Harry being named the Head of Magical Law Enforcement. It was bad enough that Harry had gotten away with impersonating him during the Ministry Takeover, Runcorn thought bitterly, but to be elevated to such a position…

"I sense bitterness," Kadir spoke quietly. "I take it you're not a fan of Harry Potter? You certainly beat James enough."

Runcorn sighed irritably, "The fool impersonated me using Polyjuice Potion back during the Second War and he got away with it," he replied irritably. "Caused a riot in the courtroom where we were interrogating Muggleborns that were placed on Umbridge's registry."

Kadir looked intrigued, "I do remember that," he replied softly. "I also remember that Potter was raised by Muggles and lived in that world until he was 17. He's a disgusting example…"

"Umbridge had his address and everything for years, but the blood wards stopped us from doing anything about it," Runcorn muttered. "He escaped and his current house is warded…"

Kadir suddenly looked amused, "Perhaps we ought to pay those Muggles a visit and tell them what we think of Potter?" he asked softly. "You and I can handle that ourselves and then we need to go pay a visit to Mister Picquery. I think he's still in St. Mungo's…"

"I remember the information sir," Runcorn replied. "We can Apprate to the Dursleys."

Kadir sighed, "It's a shame that the Ministry sent half their Auror Force over to America to clean up Lucius's mess, isn't it?" he spoke softly. "Let's be quick with this, shall we?"

"...Gramma, when we can we go to Diagon Alley and get my things for school?" Scorpius heard a familiar voice ask. "Mummy and Dad are nervous about going without you."

A door opened and Scorpius suddenly felt a hand touch his face, "He's much cooler today," a gentle voice said. "Molly, dear, will you pass me the tray with the soup on it?"

Scorpius opened his eyes just in time to see Molly pass Mrs. Weasley a tray that had been bewitched to hold a bowl on it, "Oh, you're awake!" Mrs. Weasley exclaimed, seeing that Scorpius had woken up. "The soup can wait. Molly, go tell your aunt straightaway."

Molly hurried from the room and Scorpius immediately looked confused, "I'm awake?" he asked in a confused, quiet voice, frowning. "I was in the kitchen with you and Dad…"

"That was a week ago, dearie, and you passed out," Mrs. Weasley explained in a kind voice.

Scorpius gasped, "My dad, Allison, are they okay?" he asked in a worried voice.

"They're fine," Mrs. Weasley replied gently. "Your father is with Professor Snape and Allison is back with her family. You passed out and so we decided to let you rest up here."

Just then, LeighAnn entered the room carrying a vial of potion, "Molly said you were awake," she said in a kind voice, smiling at Scorpius. "I made you a potion to get you feeling better."

Scorpius silently accepted the potion when he was given it, "Thank you," he spoke softly.

LeighAnn nodded, "How's my dad?" Scorpius asked weakly. "Is he still alive?"

"He is," LeighAnn replied softly. "He just wants you to be safe, Scorpius."

Scorpius silently looked at the blanket, "Since you're up, do you want to have breakfast downstairs with everyone?" Mrs. Weasley asked gently. "It might cheer you up."

"My trunk…" Scorpius spoke anxiously. "My dad had all of our stuff in his bag…"

Mrs. Weasley gestured to his trunk, which had been set on the dresser, "Professor Snape sent it over here and wants you to stay here for the time being," she explained softly.

Tears filled Scorpius's eyes and Mrs. Weasley moved the tray before gently hugging him and allowing him to cry in her arms. A few moments later, Scorpius calmed down and got out of bed, proceeding to change into clean clothes while Mrs. Weasley had her back turned.

Mrs. Weasley helped Scorpius downstairs with LeighAnn at their heels and led him into the kitchen where Mr. Weasley, Charlie, Stacey, Charity, Charlie, Lucy, Michael, Collins, and Molly were already eating breakfast. Scorpius quietly sat next to Molly, as he felt less self-conscious when he was around her; she was the only friend he had right now.

"Now, I want you to eat as much as you can," Mrs. Weasley spoke in a warm voice as she set a full plate of food in front of Scorpius. "You need to get your strength up for school."

"Daaaad, can't we just go out to the Burrow? You said we would today!"

Harry sighed calmly as he drove through the streets of Surrey with Ginny in the front passenger seat while a recovering James, Albus, and Lily sat in the back wearing clean Muggle clothes. He and Ginny were also wearing Muggle attire and using the Muggle automobile they bought from Dudley, as he knew it would be more appropriate.

"We have to go visit my cousin, Dudley, and his family for breakfast first, Lily," Harry spoke patiently as he turned the corner on to Privet Drive. "I wonder what Dudley wants and why he wants us to meet at Uncle Vernon and Aunt Petunia's. They're very private people…"

Ginny sighed as Harry parked in front of Number 4, Privet Drive, "I want you three on your best behavior," Harry spoke sternly. "We'll be around Muggles who dislike magic."

Albus and Lily scoffed, but got out of the car without complaint and Ginny helped James get to the door while Harry ushered Albus and Lily there, "There hasn't been any sign of Kadir or his minions in a week, so maybe he's just gone away," Ginny spoke in a hopeful voice.

Harry shrugged and rang the bell, assuming a neutral facial expression as the door opened and Dudley stood there, "Hey," Dudley spoke quietly. "Everyone's inside…"

Harry and Ginny quickly ushered their children inside and found Vernon and Petunia sitting together on the couch in the living room, "Susan's shopping for school things with Peter and Jane," Dudley explained softly as he came in. "I don't know if you know, but we each got to name one and we named them after people in books. Susan and I read a lot together…"

An uneasiness filled the room as Ginny helped James into a chair and lingered by him while Harry, Albus, and Lily sat on the other couch. Dudley sat next to his parents and sighed.

"Harry, there's no easy way to say this," Petunia spoke softly, sighing. "I…this is difficult."

Vernon sighed and Dudley looked uneasy, "I'm dying," Petunia spoke quietly, looking sad.

Harry frowned, "I don't know why or what disease I have, but I started slowing down and so I went to the doctor," Petunia spoke softly, sighing. "Perhaps it's because I am a Squib or whatever word is used to refer to people without magic. I know a lot has gone on…"

"Is there anything I can do?" Harry asked in a concerned voice. "I know Healers…"

Petunia sighed, "I heard about the crisis in New York and I assumed it was more of those bad people who killed Lily," she spoke softly. "Perhaps it's some disease that only affects…"

Harry suddenly felt uneasy, as if someone possessing dark magic was nearby. He got up and walked over to the window, frowning when he saw storm clouds gathering overhead.

"Something's wrong," Harry spoke in a concerned voice. "We need to hide or run…"

Petunia frowned, "I don't think I can and your Uncle has his heart to think about," she spoke in a concerned voice as she slowly got up. "Dudley, take your father and get going…"

Vernon frowned, "More of that dark fool's kind?" he grunted as he got up. "Coming here?"

"Vernon, go into the kitchen with Dudley and take James, Albus, and Lily with you, now!" Petunia snapped, her expression upset as torrential ran began to fall from the sky.

Vernon swore, but Dudley hustled him into the kitchen while Ginny helped James up, "Albus, Lily, help James," she spoke anxiously, pulling out her wand. "Harry, get your wand out."

Harry quietly drew his wand and Petunia immediately became anxious as a figure clad in a dark robe touched down on the lawn brandishing a wand, "Harry, I know I haven't always treated you kindly as I should have, but I did love you," Petunia spoke softly. "I still do."

"I…I love you too, Aunt Petunia," Harry replied, gasping as Petunia went to the door. "What are you doing, Aunt Petunia? Ginny and I have our wands and we can stop this…"

Petunia sighed, "You know those people hate our kind and I'm dying anyway," she replied in a quiet, tired voice, her expression sad. "I can buy you some time at the very least…"

Harry suddenly noticed that Ginny had gone into the kitchen and was quietly talking with Vernon, Dudley, and the children, "Do what I say for once in your life," Petunia spoke softly.

Sighing, Harry quickly tapped himself with his wand and crept to the kitchen, only to find it empty. He crept back to the living room amidst the sound of the doorbell, arriving just in time to see Petunia answer the door, "You related to Auror Harry Potter?" a cold voice hissed.

"I don't know what an Auror is, but yes I am," Petunia replied softly. "Everyone else is out."

A grunt filled the air, "You're lying!" the voice replied. "We know you're not alone!" Harry watched in horror as a wand was raised. " Tell me where the others are or I'll kill you!"

Petunia tried to push him out, but the figure swore, "AVADA KEDAVRA!" it shouted.

Adrenaline shot through Harry and he Disillusioned himself just in time to see the figure come into the house sporing the Death Eater attire, "POTTER!" the figure shouted.

Harry swore, his expression angry as he brandished his wand, but the Death Eater managed to dodge and fired off a curse that Harry managed to dodge, "SECTUMSEMPRA!" Harry shouted, wanting to make the Death Eater suffer for murdering the one who raised him.

The curse hit the Death Eater in the face and blood exploded all over the place as it Apprated away, "PETUNIA!" Vernon shouted, having seen the Death Eater kill her.

Ginny quickly camoflauged Vernon, Dudley, James, Albus, and Lily before running to Harry, "Harry…" she spoke anxiously, her expression somber as she looked at Petunia.

"Whatever of the Ministry and Order is around needs to be summoned," Harry spoke in a shaking voice, his expression wavering between angry and crying as he put his wand away. "The Muggles will notice this and I'll need to communicate with them once they…"

Tears filled Harry's eyes and Ginny quickly sent a Patronus off before silently embracing him.

"You didn't come to breakfast, so I brought you a plate," Percy heard a gentle voice speak as he sat on the windowseat in the bedroom he shared with LeighAnn and Michael, silently staring out at the Muggle countryside. "I told your mother you were still asleep…"

Percy turned to her and sighed, "I'm worried about going to Diagon Alley," he replied softly, his expression worried. "Ever since the attack on the Leaky, we've both felt unwell…"

"That's because we've struggled to eat, but your Mum's a good remedy for that and she made me eat a good amount today," LeighAnn spoke softly. "Now…it's your turn."

Percy scoffed, but accepted the plate and began eating, not stopping until the plate was empty, "So…your nausea is gone, then?"he asked softly. "Maybe you could be…"

"Percy, you and I both know that's impossible," LeighAnn replied gently. "As much as we…"

Percy nodded, "Do we have a moment to be together?" he asked softly, an impish expression crossing his face. "We haven't had much time alone this year…"

"Thank you again for coming to London with me to visit Vernon and Petunia," LeighAnn spoke softly. "After what she told me, I needed to be with you. She gave me what she wanted me to have and out of respect for Vernon, we didn't discuss magic at all and it was a lovely dinner. Dudley gets so busy with his own family that he doesn't visit much…"

Percy nodded and stood up to hug her, setting the empty plate aside and LeighAnn sighed, wincing as she felt pain in her back, "I guess age is catching up with me," she spoke in a tired voice. "I could do with a little rest and a little massage from your strong hands…"

As Percy led LeighAnn to their bed, he suddenly noticed water on the floor, "There's water on the floor," he spoke in a concerned voice, frowning. "You said your back is sore?"

Pain shot through LeighAnn's body and she whimpered as she doubled over in pain, "MUM!" Percy shouted, deeply shocked at he was seeing. "Mum, we need you in here now!"

Noise filled the house and Mrs. Weasley burst into the room, "It hurts…" LeighAnn whimpered as she gripped the bed. "I feel like my body is going to explode…"

Percy and Mrs. Weasley helped LeighAnn lie on the bed as Mr. Weasley hurried into the room. Mrs. Weasley quietly examined LeighAnn with her wand and suddenly gasped.

"It can't be…" Mrs. Weasley spoke in an anxious voice. "You…you had a hysterectomy."

LeighAnn frowned as Mrs. Weasley raised her legs up and rolled up her sleeves as if expecting to catch something, "You're going to have a baby," Mrs. Weasley explained in an anxious voice. "Percy, hold your wife's hand. Arthur, please go try and find Kaysar…"

Mr. Weasley hurried from the room, "I can't have more children!" LeighAnn exclaimed in a surprised voice, her eyes wide with shock. "When I had Michael, Kaysar removed…"

"You need to push now!" Mrs. Weasley ordered anxiously. "Do it until I say stop!"

LeighAnn obeyed and a weak cry filled the room as the pain subsided. She felt very weak and both the room and Percy were going in and out of focus, "What happened?" she whispered.

Moments later, she felt something burst and the pain intensified as noise filled the air, "…What do you mean, she had a baby, Arthur?" Kaysar's stern voice filled the air. "I gave her a hysterectomy when I delivered Michael and it's not physically possible…!"

Percy looked up from LeighAnn as Kaysar came in and paused, "Oh, good Lord," Kaysar spoke in a shocked voice, his eyes wide when he saw the mess and the baby in Mrs. Weasley's arms. "How…how is that even possible? That's not supposed to be…"

The baby quieted as Mrs. Weasley cleaned it off with her wand and wrapped it in a blanket she conjured, "Here's your new son, Percy," she spoke softly. "He has your hair.

Percy gasped and quietly took the bundle while Kaysar tended to LeighAnn, "Is he healthy?" LeighAnn asked in a tired voice, sighing. "Now that he's here, I'm thrilled…"

A Patronus suddenly appeared in the middle of the room, "There's been an attack on Number 4, Privet Drive and Petunia Dursley was killed," Ginny's voice spoke softly. "Muggle police and other people are arriving, but so are Aurors. Harry asked me to tell everyone…"

Kaysar paled and LeighAnn frowned, "Petunia…dead?" she spoke in a faint voice.

"I want you to relax, all right?" Kaysar spoke up in a quiet voice. "Someone go tell Severus about his new grandson and about Petunia, please. I'm sure he'll want to know."

Unaware of his new grandson's existence, Severus had already been told of Petunia's death by Harry's stag Patronus and was now at Number 4, Privet Drive. He had left Chommer to watch over the recovering Draco and was now here to see what had happened for himself, changed into respectable Muggle clothing, and was now here to see what had happened.

The sight of Muggle police and medical vehicles made his heart sink, but he kept moving and stopped as Muggle paramedics came out of the house with Vernon on a gurney while an anxious Dudley came out with Ginny, James, Albus, and Lily in tow.

"Professor," Ginny spoke softly, seeing Severus there. "Harry….he's inside with Petunia."

Severus silently entered the house and stopped when he saw the pool of blood roped off by Muggle police tape. He went in further and saw a Muggle policeman talking to Harry. A gurney sat in the far corner of the room holding a lifeless Petunia in a body bag.

"Sir, you can't be in here!" the police officer shouted, noticing Severus there.

Severus silently and quickly modified the man's memory and sent him out with the thoughts that Petunia had been beaten by her attacker, "It was a Death Eater," Harry whispered, his voice shaking as his eyes remained fixed on the gurney. "The blood is not my aunt's…"

Harry sighed softly, "I used Sectumsempra on the Death Eater after my aunt was killed because I wanted to cause pain," he replied quietly. "I couldn't bring myself to use an Unforgivable. My aunt had just told me she was dying when they came and she made me Disillusion myself and made Ginny Disillusion everyone else. She stood on her own…"

Severus nodded, "There's nothing more you can do here, Potter," he finally said in a commanding voice, his expression stern. "The Muggles will want to do their jobs."

Harry silently nodded and followed Severus from the house just in time to see the ambulance depart with Uncle Vernon while Dudley remained behind, shaken and lost over the death of his mother. Ginny was standing with him, but James, Albus, and Lily were all sitting in the car, shellshocked by what they had just seen take place.

"Dad had a panic attack," Dudley spoke softly, his voice quaking. "What happened, Harry?"

Harry shook his head, "I…I don't know," he admitted, sighing. "I really don't, Dudley…"

"I need to call Susan and go meet her, Peter, and Jane," Dudley spoke shakily. "I…."

Tears filled Dudley's eyes and he turned away, needing a moment to himself even though the policemen were still there, "Ginny, maybe you ought to take the kids home," Harry spoke quietly. "I want to be here for Dudley and Uncle Vernon right now…"

"The policemen said I should leave so they can look at the scene," Dudley spoke softly.

Harry nodded, "We'll take you wherever you need to go," he promised anxiously.

It was then that Harry noticed that Severus had departed. Where to, he did not know.

MUGGLE AUNT OF HARRY POTTER KILLED IN SURPRISE DEATH EATER ATTACK!

Hermione sighed heavily as she folded the paper and put it under her arm after glancing briefly at the article, "They didn't waste any time," she muttered. "Ron, are you coming?"

Ron sighed as he got out of the car with Rose and Hugo, tired from the drive that they took after getting word from Harry about his aunt being murdered in London. Harry had taken time to get Dudley to his family and check on his uncle before Dudley had sent him home for the night, but Ginny had insisted that they go to the Burrow because he needed support.

"How long are we going to be here for?" Rose asked softly. "I was reading."

Ron sighed, "Harry just lost his aunt and we're not only his friends, we're his family," he explained in a patient voice, offering Rose a smile. "We need to be supportive."

Hermione suddenly felt anxious, "That and Kingsley told Harry that it was better to be at a safe place until they figured out who killed his aunt," she replied softly. "I have our things."

Ron put his arms around Hugo and Rose as they went to the door and Hermione rapped on the door, "Come in!" Mrs. Weasley's voice filled the air. "We'll find room for you!"

Hermione pushed the door open and was surprised to see Mrs. Weasley cooking up a storm in the kitchen with the help of Fleur, Angelina, and Victoire, "Mum, we got Harry's message and it took some time to drive here," Ron spoke apologetically. "Is Harry even here?"

"Everyone in the family is here," Mrs. Weasley replied softly, turning to them looking concerned. "A death and an unexpected birth in the same day is a cause for…"

Hermione frowned, "Did someone have a baby?" she asked in a confused voice.

"LeighAnn and Percy had one a few hours ago," Mrs. Weasley replied. "A son."

Ron frowned, but sighed, "Um, where's Harry?" he asked. "I should go see him."

"He and Ginny are up in Ginny's old room," Mrs. Weasley replied kindly.

Ron nodded, "Rose, Hugo, go visit with your cousins," he spoke softly. "Hermione…"

Hermione nodded and ushered Rose and Hugo into the already crowded living room where Albus, Lily, Roxane, Fred, Scorpius, Collins, Dominique, Louis, Amanda, Tom, Molly, Lucy, Michael, Teddy, Victoire, and Mr. Weasley were sitting, all of them doing quiet activities like drawing, reading, or playing with Muggle dominoes, "Where's…"?" Ron asked, shocked at how full the living room had gotten.

"James is resting in bed, Harry and Ginny are upstairs, Bill, Charlie, and George are setting tables outside so we can have a meal all together, and Percy's in their bedroom with LeighAnn and their new son," Mr. Weasley explained calmly. "I'm about to go outdoors…"

Ron frowned, "I thought she couldn't have more kids?" he asked in a confused voice.

Mr. Weasley shrugged as he got up, "Kaysar and Severus are in with them," he replied as he inched his way around the people in the living room. "Stacey is resting with her children."

Unable to believe what he had heard, Ron ducked into Percy's room and Hermione quickly followed. They were both surprised to see LeighAnn resting in bed with Percy at her side while Kaysar and Severus took turns examining both her and the baby boy carefully.

"Can I please have him now?" LeighAnn asked sternly. "If he's perfectly healthy…"

Severus sighed, but acquiesced the newborn to LeighAnn, "Where's Amythest, Adrian, Adeleina and Little Severus?" Hermione asked in a concerned voice. "LeighAnn and Amythest are twins…"

"Amythest's making a dish and they'll come in a little bit," Percy spoke softly.

Severus gave Ron and Hermione a look and the two quickly excused themselves, going quickly up the stairs because they knew Harry needed them. They were surprised to find Ginny and Harry sitting on the edges of Ginny's bed as James slept soundly inside of it.

"Hey, Harry," Ron spoke quietly. "I'm sorry we didn't get here sooner…"

Harry sighed, "You came," he replied in a quiet voice. "That's all that matters to me. I guess we'll be staying here the night because it's close to London and Dudley will need help…"

Ron and Hermione took turns hugging Harry and Ginny, "Thanks," Harry spoke quietly.

Ginny smiled and Harry exhaled, "It's so crowded in Surrey and downstairs that I thought I'd come up here for a bit," Harry explained softly. "Ginny said she was coming too and James was really tired from everything that happened. I've got so much going on in my head…"

Ron nodded, "What can we do to help, mate?" he asked softly. "You look like you need it."

"Just being here helps a great deal," Harry replied softly, sighing. "I've been thinking a lot about how lucky I am that I didn't lose James and then my aunt gets killed…"

Ginny gently rubbed Harry's shoulder as the door opened and Lily poked her head in, "Daddy, Aunt LeighAnn wants to talk to you, but Uncle Percy won't let her get out of bed," she spoke in a soft voice. "She said she has something she wants to give you."

Harry frowned, but nodded and got up, "If James happens to wake up while I'm gone, make him eat or drink something," he replied. "There's a tray on the dresser…"

Swallowing hard, Harry followed Lily downstairs to Percy's room and found that both Kaysar and Severus were gone, "Lily said you wanted to see me?" he asked in a nervous voice.

LeighAnn nodded and slowly sat up before handing the baby to Percy, "You know I was a foster child of the Dursleys for a while, but what you don't know is that Percy and I had dinner with her a few weeks ago," she explained softly. "She was trying to convince Vernon to let you come, but she thought it would be easier to start with having me, as he and I got along reasonably well as long as I behaved. We avoided discussion of magic, but she also thought she'd entrust a few things of yours to me just in case she was unable to…"

Harry found himself speechless, but watched as Percy produced a large box from the closet and passed it to him using his wand, "I'm sorry," LeighAnn spoke softly, sighing heavily.

"For what?" Harry asked quietly, gripping the box. "You have nothing to apologize for."

LeighAnn sighed, "I'm sorry that Petunia was killed," she spoke quietly. "I really am."

Harry nodded and sighed, "Can I ask…how was it that you just had a baby when you had a hysterectomy after Michael was born?" he asked quietly. "Those things can't grow back…"

"Apparently it did when I was attacked here and used my protection spell to keep everyone else upstairs," LeighAnn replied softly. "That's all Kaysar was able to tell me and he also said that I had been pregnant without even noticing. A deeper magic protected Andrew…"

Percy looked amused, "Andrew?" he replied gently. "Is that the name you want for him?"

"Andrew Percival Weasley," LeighAnn replied softly. "What do you think of it, dear?"

Percy sighed, "After all I did?" he asked. "I still can't remember any of it, but…"

"You were under the Imperius Curse," LeighAnn spoke, cutting him off. "I think it's utter nonsense that there are some in the Ministry that still hold all that over you."

Harry frowned and Percy scoffed, "Don't act all surprised, Harry," Percy spoke in a tired voice. "You were just made Head of Magical Law Enforcement. I'm sure you knew…"

"I can assure you that I have no idea what you are talking about," Harry replied firmly.

Percy gave him a look, "With all the dark attacks that have been happening lately, the Ministry's gotten tighter about security and certain people have been whispering about petitioning Kingsley to have me sacked because they think I'm involved," he explained in an upset voice. "I've gotten nasty letters, threats, and they have even gone as far as to threaten the safety of my family…because my wife is a Snape. How did you not know?!"

"How could you not tell anyone?" Harry replied angrily. "Did you tell anyone, Percy?!"

LeighAnn sighed, "He didn't because he's a stubborn git, but he's my stubborn git and I love him," she replied softly. "I kept all the evidence and it's in a blue box in the closet."

Percy gave a nod and Harry used his wand to send the box from his aunt to his house to look at later. He then got the box and silently sent it to the safety of his office at the Ministry.

"I…I need your memories of the incidents too," Harry replied softly. "Are you willing…?"

Percy took out his wand and Harry conjured vials, watching carefully as Percy filled them with his memories of the persecution, "Mum and Dad thought it was best for us to live here because they know I have days where I'm depressed over not being able to remember certain things and my wife needs help," he explained softly. "Take this and be quiet about it."

Harry nodded and pocketed the vials, "Could you go pluck Molly, Lucy, and Michael out of that mess of people, please?" Percy asked in a calmer voice. "They should meet Andrew."

Sighing, Harry quietly left the room to give them privacy and do to what Percy asked.

It wasn't fair that I had to stop reading the books I got from Grandpa and Grandma's attic so we could come to this family party. Rose thought bitterly as she sat at one end of the table with Albus, Lily, Roxane, Fred, Scorpius, Collins, Dominique, Louis, Amanda, Tom, Molly, Lucy, Michael, Charlie, Charity, Teddy, and Victoire. Who cares if Uncle Harry's Muggle relative died? Muggles are dumb. Mum was born to Muggles, but she's not dumb like they are.

Mr. Weasley, Mrs. Weasley, Bill, Fleur, Charlie, Stacey, George and Angelina were seated at the other end of the table. Severus had been invited to say, but he had departed without a word and Amythest, Kaysar, Adrian, Adeleina, and Little Severus were on their way, but not yet there.

Rose sighed when she saw her parents come out of the house and over to the tables just as food, cutlery, cups, and plates appeared, "Ron, sit down," Hermione spoke gently. "Ginny said she'll get Harry to come outside and I can get Percy and LeighAnn food…."

"Harry's not going to come downstairs and you and I both know that, Hermione," Ron replied in a gruff voice. "I'll take Harry and Ginny their food and you can take…"

Just then, Ginny came outside and over to the tables, "Ginny," Hermione spoke softly.

"Harry sent me outside to eat," Ginny replied softly. "He just wants to be where it's quiet and be with James right now. He's thinking about his aunt and how James almost…"

Ron nodded, "He did send a message that Percy wants Molly and Lucy to bring Michael to their room once they're finished eating so they can meet Andrew Percival," Ginny replied.

"That's a cute name," Hermione replied, smiling. "Does Percy want some food?"

Ginny shrugged, "I'm sure if you get it for him, he'll eat it," she replied softly.

At the other end of the table, Mrs. Weasley was looking worried, "I'm going to run food up to Harry and James," she spoke anxiously. "I'm also going to see to Percy and…"

"You should also eat, Molly," Mr. Weasley spoke quietly. "You've hardly touched your…"

Mrs. Weasley sighed, "I don't have an appetite right now, Arthur," she replied in a concerned voice. "Harry is hurting because he lost his aunt and James is still recovering…"

Just then, Scorpius finished his food and quietly went into the house because he wanted to Floo Professor Snape and see if his father was up for conversation. Auror Potter's aunt being killed had made him miss his father and he hoped that his father was at least alive, if not well. Thankfully, the kitchen was empty and quiet and there was plenty of Floo Powder.

"What are you up to, Scorpius?" a gentle voice suddenly asked from behind.

Scorpius turned to see Mrs. Weasley, "I wanted to call my dad," he explained softly.

Mrs. Weasley nodded and came over to the fireplace, smiling as she showed him how. A moment later, he saw Amythest and Kaysar getting Adrian and Adeleina ready to go while Severus lingered nearby, "Scorpius!" Adeleina called out. "Mum, Dad…look!"

"Is…is my dad able to talk?" Scorpius asked softly. "I miss him."

Severus sighed, turned away briefly, and turned back as a tired looking Draco came into view, "Dad!" Scorpius exclaimed, a look of relief on his face at seeing him. "Can we talk?"

A chair was conjured at Draco sat, "For a short while, yes," he replied in a quiet voice.

The Ministry of Magic was quiet, as many of the Aurors were dividing their time between personal responsibilities, helping rebuild MACUSA, and seeing to the many needs of the survivors. Deeply unnerved by the quiet, Linus Picquery found himself keeping quiet.

"I know you just got out of hospital, Linus, but Minister Shacklebolt asked me to invite you," MACUSA President Roger Taylor spoke as he came into view. "How are you feeling?"

Linus sighed, "I got a room at the Leaky Cauldron since it was a short distance from St. Mungo's and it's close to Diagon Alley," he replied softly. "I also transferred money."

Before Roger, who was very concerned about Linus overdoing it so soon, could reply, Kingsley came into the Atrium, "Mister Picquery, it's good you were able to join us," Kingsley spoke in a kind voice. "President Taylor said you just got out of the hospital a few days ago."

"I got a room at the Leaky Cauldron, sir," Linus replied softly. "It seemed…more tolerable."

Kingsley nodded, "Let's talk in my office, shall we?" he said softly. "This way."

It didn't take long for them to get to the Minister's office and Kingsley waited until everyone was seated before he got to business, "Lucius and Narcissa Malfoy recently defected from Kadir Linnis and surrendered themselves to Auror Potter," Kingsley explained in an official voice. "They are currently being housed in a Ministry apartment and under restriction while we decide what to do with both of them. Lucius did admit that he used you…"

Linus frowned, but said nothing because he was surprised that Lucius had outright admitted his hateful behavior, "Lucius took Polyjuice Potion and became Martin Mulpepper to gain access to your boarding house in New York and he said he threatened you when you discovered who he was," Kingsley explained softly. "He forced you to keep quiet."

Roger frowned, "What?!" he replied in an upset voice. "Is that why you were so nervous?"

"My grandmother had dementia and there was no sense in causing her upset with what was going on and I didn't want to risk Malfoy hurting her," Linus replied softly. "I'm sorry."

Roger paled, "Good Lord, Linus, I didn't think you were in such trouble and I'm sorry I didn't take the time to make sure you were all right," he apologized anxiously. "You're only 18 and you had to think of your grandmother, finishing school, and focusing on your future…"

"Which I now don't have because I'm cut off from home, my grandmother is dead, and MACUSA is destroyed," Linus replied softly. "I'm like the refugees in Hogsmeade…."

Roger sighed and gave Kingsley a look, "There were many apartments destroyed at MACUSA and many of those now at Hogsmeade lost everything," he explained in a quiet voice. "I know you're only trying to help us, but I also know you don't have endless resources."

"Lucius Malfoy has quite a bit of money and has agreed to donate some of it to helping those he displaced," Kingsley explained in a quiet voice. "He's also to be sentenced, but that's to be determined later. You should also know that we found your grandmother's body in what is left of MACUSA. I don't think we're going to be able to rebuild it to what it was."

Roger sighed quietly, "Something viable will be done by next year at the very latest," Kingsley spoke in an apologetic voice. "As for your home, I do not think it is safe…"

"It was my grandmother's," Linus interrupted softly. "I was her legal caregiver the moment I turned 17 and ownership passed to me. Now that she is dead, I don't know if I can…"

Kingsley nodded, "Give yourself time to consider it," he replied softly. "All right?"

Linus nodded and went very quiet, "As for MACUSA, I don't believe there isn't any reason why the Ministry and MACUSA can't share office space for the time being," Kingsley replied in a kind voice. "We'll work out the details so each organization can be comfortable."

"That's very kind of you, Minister," Roger replied calmly. "But what about Ilvermony?"

Linus sighed, "Do you mind if I go for a walk?" he asked softly. "I'm feeling a bit…"

Roger nodded and Linus quietly excused himself, deeply surprised when he nearly crashed into Headmistress McGonagall and an anxious looking Narcissa Malfoy, "Oh, excuse me," Linus spoke in an apologetic voice. "I was just getting some air…"

"I didn't know you were out of the hospital, Mister Picquery," Headmistress McGonagall said in a concerned voice. "Your name's been in the paper so much I feel like I know all about you."

Linus nodded politely even though he was tired and wanted to get away from Narcissa Malfoy as soon as possible. The door opened and Roger strolled out, sighing tiredly.

Once Roger and Linus were gone, Headmistress McGonagall and Narcissa entered the office, "Minister, I've spoken to Narcissa like Potter suggested," she spoke in a quiet voice.

Kingsley looked intrigued, "I…I agreed to the request with one condition," Narcissa spoke in a nervous voice, her expression concerned. "Lucius would prefer to serve his sentence in the Ministry cells rather than Azkaban or Nurmengard. His eyes and the rest of him are damaged and he doesn't need those prisons to suck what's left of him dry…"

"And we haven't used Azkaban since the fiasco involving James Potter and Fred Weasley anyway," Kingsley replied quietly. "Lucius is going to serve house arrest in the Ministry apartments and his needs will be met. His wand will also be returned by end of summer providing that he can make a vow to use magic responsibly. Will that suit both of you?"

Narcissa nodded, "Lucius has already owled Gringotts to arrange the donation to the displaced," she replied softly. "This is more mercy than we both expected or deserve."

"You best thank Potter for that," Kingsley replied sternly. "He told me how you lied to the Dark Lord at the end of the last war and how it enabled him to end the war. His request for mercy was him repaying the debt he owes you. You best not mess the opportunity up."

Narcissa sighed, "I am very grateful," she replied softly. "For him and you listening to him."

Chateau Linnis - France

"How did Potter even know that spell?" Runcorn hissed angrily, wincing as Kadir quietly patched up his face. "Draco Malfoy had it used on him, but I didn't know Potter knew…"

Kadir sighed, obviously bored with the whining, "Runcorn, at least you managed to kill the Muggle," he spoke in a quiet voice. "You were disguised, so nobody knows it was you."

"What am I going to do if I show back up at MACUSA and people ask where I was?" Runcorn asked in a suspicious voice. "They think I was summoned back to help the Ministry…."

Kadir smirked, "And the Ministry thinks you're at MACUSA," he replied calmly. "Just stay here for now until you heal. School will start up again soon and everyone will be busy."

"Do people actually stay here?" Runcorn asked. "It seems so isolated from the world."

Kadir chuckled, "They do, but they go about their lives during the day as if nothing is wrong and that is on my order," he replied smugly. "I need all the intelligence I can get."

"Sir, is there still a plan since MACUSA's been destroyed?" Runcorn asked worriedly.

Kadir gave him a look, "Things can be rebuilt and plans can be redone," he replied in a simple voice. "You and my other followers are split between here and there, but those in America are also gathering intelligence on the attitudes and helping recruit followers…"

"You still have followers left in America?" Runcorn asked quietly. "Even after…?"

Kadir scoffed, "They live as Muggles as Garrett Corvallis did and they will come when they are called to come," he replied coldly. "I also have friends in other parts of the world."

Runcorn looked astonished as Kadir produced a gruesome looking, skull-shaped amulet from his pocket, "Every loyal follower of mine has been sent one of these," Kadir said. "In my reading, I learned that long ago, Harry Potter taught fellow students and Hermione Granger used charmed coins to inform members of meetings. I think it's a useful little strategy and will serve us quite well."

"Whoever thought that a Mudblood's way of thinking would benefit us?" Runcorn replied, smirking.

Kadir bristled at the word 'Mudblood', as he hated slurs, but he chose to forgive the ignorance for the moment. He knew that Runcorn was only acting as he was taught, but that would soon change.
