After the teams had met up, they had contacted the Park and begun the dismantling of Frank and Percival's smuggling operation. The surviving gang members who Percival and the others had left behind, were kept in some of the animal cages in the boat until Theodore could take them off to face proper justice.

The operations' stockpile of animal parts had been destroyed at the scene – put in a pile of wood and burnt in a massive bonfire. The live animals had been taken back to the park and were veterinary treatment – due to the smugglers' mistreatment, many of them had severe health problems and were desperately malnourished. They would, eventually, be integrated into the park when they were healthy enough. They'd also taken Frank back to the park and used one of the indoor recovery pens in the vet offices as a makeshift cell… next to the Andrewsarchus Jack and Collete's team had found on the boat.

Standing in the meeting room, Drew, Leon, Cynthia and Nikolai were waiting for Theodore's response. It had been pretty much as expected. "How dare he!", Theodore said, his usually kind and amiable voice breaking with rage, "I trusted him with my greatest secret – I saw him as one of my closest friends and he chose to betray me in such a horrible manner!" He gave them a look, and for a brief moment, his paternalistic demeanour returned, "I thank you all for stopping this whole horrid enterprise. It's only a pity Percival isn't facing justice – as soon as he left, he slipped off the radar. Hopefully, Frank will tell us where Percival is headed." He breathed out, "I will send someone to collect Frank and the remaining mercenaries – I'm willing to reveal this place early to the world if it brings the people behind this to justice. Continue helping the poor animals and see if you can get something out of Frank. I look forward to seeing you all on the opening day."

The four looked at each other – everyone available was already working around the clock helping the rescued animals. Once somebody could afford the time, they would go down and ask Frank on where Percival was headed.

They also made a mental note to never anger Theodore Richardson.

Frank, however, had other plans. He squinted at his prison and he noted – a dodgy lock. It had loosened slightly when an uncooperative Coelophysis had been transported to rehabilitation. It had never been fixed since. Frank leant towards the door and put his hand under the latch – looking over at the Andrewsarchus, he realised that it had fallen asleep. No-one would see his escape. He lifted the latch, opened the door and snuck out – moving down the halls quietly, he hopped into a Jeep, started the keys and drove off into the night.

Fortunately, the park was mostly empty – everyone was busy helping the animals they'd confiscated from his operation. As he drove down the empty roads, he gripped the wheel in anger – von Grimm's betrayal still angered him. After all the work he did, that bastard had the nerve. He snarled.

Suddenly, he drove through a large gate and into a large paddock. This was confusing – surely he'd taken the path to the north end of the island, where his operation was. However… he was lost. Driving down the track into the paddock, he saw the outlines of various dinosaurs – some he recognised, some he did not. Hopefully, he could get past them…

However, an Ornithomimus, that had been browsing near to where the Jeep was driving, had run back to the herd letting out a shriek of alarm at sight of the vehicle. Alerted, every herbivore turned to look at this new threat. Frank turned to look at what was going on – what were they looking at? And then, the realisation dawned…

Suddenly, the herbivores all erupted in a crescendo of bellowing at the Jeep - even the smallest ornithopods were joining in the audible assault. Frank, knowing that this was a dangerous situation, tore off into the night – the herbivores pursuing him, led by an Argentinosaurus. As he drove deeper into the paddock, and the fuel began to lower on the Jeep, the stampede got closer to him. Eventually, the Jeep stalled and the herd moved towards the Jeep menacingly.

Frank, throwing caution to the wind, jumped out of the Jeep and tore into the night. Some of the herbivores began attacking the Jeep – however, the vast majority were engaged in tracking him down. As he headed into the more forested areas of Mesozoic Safaris, he caught himself on a branch – with a tearing sound, his dinosaur-tooth necklace fell onto the ground. Ordinarily, the loss of his necklace would have gotten him incredibly angry. However, with a herd of stampeding dinosaurs pursuing him, the loss of his necklace was the last thing on his mind.

He ran as fast as he could, before his salvation seemingly came into reach – a Port-A-Potty, on the edge of the paddock. He ran in and barricaded the door shut, as quaking footsteps indicated the stampede was coming closer. His last thought was cursing Percival for his failure – the bastard had given him inferior materials and then thrown him under the bus the instant it was convenient.

It was the last thought he ever had, as the Port-A-Potty collapsed on him.

A few hours later, Drew, Cynthia and Leon walked towards the far end Mesozoic Safaris, searching for the escaped Frank. When a keeper had returned to check on the animals – and the imprisoned Frank – they had found that Frank had disappeared. Checking the CCTV had found that Frank had stolen a Jeep and driven off into the night – however, presumably due to not knowing the park layout, he'd gotten lost in Mesozoic Safaris. Entering the paddock by Jeep, the three had managed to find the stolen Jeep, on its side and partially trampled, before deducing that Frank had abandoned his vehicle and run on foot – tracking him towards the far end of the paddock, they'd found his dinosaur-tooth necklace, mostly crushed to powder, lying in the mud.

As they moved over the ridge, they saw the Port-A-Potty, in ruins, and Drew smirked, "I guess you could say he was having a… shit day." Leon rolled his eyes, before lifting his communicator and saying, "Frank's dead. He got lost in Mesozoic Safaris and the herd trampled him." Cynthia turned to Leon and said, bitterly, "Does it matter? Frank was just a flunky – first thing tomorrow morning, I'm leaving – I want to catch Percival. The guy who was really behind all this is going down."
