Yes, this fic has an American Minister of Magic because I started writing this way before Fantastic Beasts came out. I also decided to give Leah long hair.
Hope you enjoy

Jasper tore through the woods running faster than what he has ever ran before. He was a fighter, not a runner like Edward, he could hear the wolf crashing through the trees and brush hot on his heels and only seconds behind him. He knew he was going to have to stop and fight, he knew that he wouldn't be able to outrun the wolf for long. The damn beast, who he knew to be Paul, was steadily catching up to him.
Feeling sharp little teeth digging into his collar bone, Jasper quickly looked down at the mop of curly red hair. "It's alright, Cephie, I have you." He was far enough away now that everyone's emotions shouldn't be overwhelming him, but he could feel that his little son was absolutely terrified.
Feeling hot air on the back of his neck, Jasper knew that he had to stop and fight. He couldn't let Paul attack him from behind. Bracing his son tightly with both arms, he came to a sudden stop, bending over and forcing the wolf to launch over him.
Straightening back up, Jasper cupped the back of Cephie's head, keeping his face in his neck so he couldn't see the massive wolf that was snarling at them, drool dripping from his jowls. "Paul, I don't want to fight you. I have a child in my arms and he's terrified. Stand down."
Paul was seeing red. No, that wasn't true, he was so worked up and furious that he wasn't seeing anything at all. He couldn't see or focus on anything over the sickly sweet scent of vampire that was burning his sensitive nose hairs. With his hackles raised and teeth bared, he slowly advanced on the vampire, already tasting the monster's flesh in his mouth as he fantasized sinking his teeth into his neck as he rips his head clean off his shoulders.
"Fuck!" Jasper cursed, seeing that Paul was more wolf than man right now. He had hoped to make the shifter see reason, but that wasn't going to happen. Looking around, he spotted a large tree with a small opening in the base of trunk. "I'm sorry, baby." He whispered as he bolted for the trunk. He had just managed to stuff his son inside it when he felt claws raking down his exposed back. "Stay!" He pleaded with his screaming son before he spun around, grabbing Paul by the back of the head then slamming his face into the ground.
Not wanting to fight the wolf next to the tree his son was hiding in, Jasper bent down and picked up the stunned wolf then threw him as far away from his son as he could. Unfortunately it wasn't far enough, the wolf managed to catch a branch only a few feet away with his teeth, stopping his flight.
With one last look at his son, Jasper bolted away from the tree. He didn't go far, he could still see and hear his son, but now he wouldn't be fighting within arms reach of Cephie. He just prayed that his son would stay in the tree. He couldn't fight a wolf as strong and as unpredictable as Paul while at the same time keeping watch over Cephie.
Snarling, Paul launched himself back at the leech sinking his teeth into his arm when the leech brought it up to protect his neck. Clamping his jaws as tightly as he could, he started viciously shaking his head.
Flinging his arm out, Jasper bashed both it and the wolf into a tree, forcing the wolf to let go of his arm. "Paul, I don't want to fight you." He tried reasoning again, as he used his other hand to pin the wolf to the tree by his neck.
Paul, seeing for the first time that the leech had red eyes, started violently kicking out with his hind legs as he tried biting at the arm that was pinning him to the tree. Red eyes meant the leech drank human blood. Red eyes meant that he was a murderer and that he had broken the treaty.
Jasper hissed in pain, dropping the wolf when Paul managed to grab a chunk of his shoulder with his teeth and rip it out.
As soon as Paul's paws hit the ground, he launched himself at the leech, crashing into him with enough force to knock him backwards. Snarling, he started biting and scratching at the cold body under him, trying to do as much damage as he possibly could. He wanted to rip and tear the vampire into a million pieces.
Jasper was done playing nice, he didn't want to kill the shifter, but it was either him or the wolf, and he wasn't going to leave his mate and son, not after just finding them. Grabbing one of the wolf's front paws, he crushed it in his hand, smirking when the beast started yelping in pain, his bones shattering. Hooking his feet under the wolf's belly, he kicked out, sending the wolf flipping through the air, hitting a tree before falling to the ground with a sickening crack.
Despite the pain from a shattered paw and what felt like a couple broken ribs, Paul got to his feet. He was tensing his muscles to launch himself back at the leech, when a sniffling sound behind him caught his attention. Spinning around with his top lip curled back, he froze when he came face to face with a little red headed boy.
"Cephie!" Jasper cried in alarm as he sprung to his feet to save his son from the wolf. He was fast, but he knew he wouldn't make it in time. The wolf was less than two feet from his son, his huge body towering over his little boy.
Trembling, his face splotchy and wet from his tears, as well as streaked with dirt and blood, Cephie reached up and bopped the massive wolf on the nose. "Ma said no bitey. No bitey Asper, bad puppy."
Entering the clearing, Edward sprinted to his brother, wrapping his arms around him from behind, stopping him from attacking Paul. "Let me go!" Jasper howled desperately as he tried to break out of his brother's hold. He had to save his son, Paul was going to kill him.
Paul continued to stare unblinkingly at the child that had just hit him and reprimanded him, his entire world shifting. Feeling feint, his legs started trembling, threatening to give out on him.
"Edward, what are you doing?" Jasper roared, still trying to break out of his brother hold. "He's going to kill him!"
Edward grunted as his brother head butted him in the chin. "Jaz, he's not going to hurt Cephie. Paul just imprinted." He didn't like the wolf that close to Cephie anymore than what Jasper did, but with Paul imprinting on Cephie, it would be very dangerous to get between them right now. Paul would fight with everything in him to save his imprint, and the last thing he wanted was for Cephie to get caught between an enraged father, and an overprotective, unpredictable and volatile imprint.
Paul slowly lowered himself onto his stomach with a whine, his eyes never leaving the child's. The child, whose scent thoroughly confused him because he scented both human and vampire on him, was his imprint. How could this happen? How could he, not only imprint on a child, but a child that was half vampire and half human?
Jasper violently shook his head no. "No, Edward, not my son. I'll kill him." With a move Edward wasn't expecting, Jasper managed to twist himself and break free from his hold.
Paul was yanked out of his thoughts and out of staring at his imprint when he heard someone quickly approaching. Lunging to his feet, he moved himself so he was literally standing over his imprint, his hackles raised threateningly. His imprint may be part vampire, but this child was now his entire world and he would protect him until he took his last breath.
Jasper froze, his eyes wide with fear and panic. The wolf was massive compared to his son, he was so big that Cephie could stand under the wolf without his head touching the wolf's belly. "Hurt my son, wolf, and I will skin you alive," he threatened.
Paul started snarling, he would never hurt his imprint. Hearing his imprint whimpering from between his front legs, he dropped his head, never taking his eyes off the leech, so he could snuffle at the boy's soft, red curls. He didn't like that his imprint was scared, especially the fact that he was scared of him.
Edward carefully approached his brother. "Jasper, he won't hurt Cephie, but Paul right now is feral and running on his animal instincts. If you attack, Cephie could possibly get injured. Paul is ready to fight to the death for him."
Sam entered the clearing in his human form, wearing a pair of cut off jean shorts. He was pale and still a bit weak from having his wolf put to sleep and then reawakened, but he was determined to see this conflict to a peaceful end. This was their fault, they had been in the wrong when they stormed the wizards home demanding answers and demanding to see the hybrid. He could still hear the fearful cries of the little girls as his pack surrounded them. His pack had lost themselves to their wolves for a brief moment and that was something he would never allow to happen again. He, more than anyone, knew how life changing and devastating it could be to lose yourself to your wolf. He was reminded of the time he lost it for a spilt second every time he looked at Emily, his precious imprint, and the horrible scars she will forever carry on her face because of him.
Hearing that both leeches were growling at him, Sam held his hands up. "I'm here to help, not hurt anyone."
"He's telling the truth," Edward said, reading Sam's mind. "He regrets what happened and he just wants to help with Paul."
Taking a deep breath, Sam looked to Paul, his most troubled and hot headed beta. He had seen through the link they shared, Paul imprinting on the little hybrid child. He didn't know how it was possible, not with Paul being a shifter and the boy part vampire, but it had happened so now the child was under his protection. The child was now a member of his pack through Paul. "Paul, I need you to concentrate on my voice," he ordered sternly. "You need to come back to yourself, you're scaring your imprint."
"Want ma!" Cephie cried, large tears falling from his eyes.
Whimpering, Paul tried comforting his imprint by licking his cheek, but the child started crying even harder. "No bitey!" Cephie wailed as he tried pushing the massive wolf head away from him. "Want ma!"
"Cephie, it's okay," Jasper called, trying to reassure his son.
"Asper?" Cephie yelled as he tried squeezing between the wolf's leg, but Paul refused to let his mate out from under him.
"Paul, let the child go!" Sam ordered with his alpha voice.
Paul's legs started trembling under his alpha's command, but he stubbornly refused to obey. There were leeches present, leeches that we're going to kill his imprint. He didn't want to disobey his alpha, but he had to keep his imprint safe. His imprint was just a baby, he couldn't protect himself.
"My go Asper!" Cephie yelled as he stuck his arm out between the wolf's front legs. "My pwease go to Asper!"
"Paul, he's my son," Jasper pleaded. "Please, you're scaring him. I'm not going to hurt him, I'm his father."
Sam's eyes widened at hearing that. "That's impossible!"
Jasper didn't take his eyes off of his son. He wanted to rip the wolf away from Cephie, but he couldn't risk his son getting hurt. "Believe me, I thought it was impossible too, but Cephie is my biological child."
Paul buried his nose in his imprint's neck, sneezing softly when he picked up the scent of the leech. The bloodsucker wasn't lying, he was his sweet imprint's father. He didn't like that, he didn't want the leeches anyway near his imprint.
"Paul," Edward tried, having read the wolf's thoughts. "Cephie is part vampire and part wizard, just like his mother and little sister. He's only a baby, he needs them. I know he's your imprint, but you can't keep him. Let's take him home, he's scared and he wants his mother."
"Ma!" Cephie cried again. "Wardward, my ma!"
Despite the tense situation, Edward snorted at the butchering of his name. He was pretty sure that that was the first time Cephie had tried saying his name. "Cephie, ask the doggy to let you go home."
"Edward!" Jasper hissed between clenched teeth.
"It'll be alright. Trust me." Edward knew that despite Paul not wanting his imprint to have anything to do with vampires, he wouldn't be able to say no to Cephie's big, puppy dog eyes. Paul was slowly starting to come back to himself.
Looking up, Cephie grabbed a fistful of chin fur and gave it a tug. "Puppy, my want ma!" He demanded with a pout. "My love mama."
Whimpering, Paul carefully lowered himself onto his belly next to his imprint. How could he deny his mate his ma? The child was such a sweet little thing. He couldn't believe that this adorable little boy was his imprint.
Dropping to his knees, Jasper held his arms open. "Cephie, come to me and I'll take you to your ma." He hated asking his son to come to him, especially seeing as he wasn't wearing shoes or socks, but he didn't want to risk Paul attacking if he got too close.
Cephie's dirty, little, tear stained face lit up. "Ma!" He cried as he rushed to Jasper, limping a little on the forest floor.
"Cephie!" Jasper sighed in relief as he scooped up his son, hugging him tightly to his chest. "Are you alright baby? Are you hurt?"
Cephie kicked out his foot. "My toe ouchie."
Shifting his son to his hip, Jasper reached down and gently grabbed his son's foot, noticing that there was blood around his big toe. There wasn't much, Cephie probably just poked it on a stick or something, but it was still painful for him. "I bet your ma can fix you right up, sweetie."
Cephie nodded his head. "Ma kisses ouchies."
Stepping up to his brother and nephew, Edward reached out and ruffled Cephie's hair. "Harry is going to lose his shi...shadow," he quickly corrected, trying to stop himself from cursing in front of little ears, "when he hears that a shifter imprinted on his son."
Jasper looked to Paul, who was limping to his alpha with his head down and tail tucked between his legs. "I'm not happy about it, but I don't think there is much we can do about it. The bond goes both ways."
"Imprinting doesn't always mean mates," Sam clarified. "I know it seems sick now with Paul being an adult and his imprint being a toddler, but they could end up being nothing more than close friends. An imprint can be a mate, a friend, a brother, or even a protector. The bond will be whatever the imprint wants...whatever they need."
Edward smirked. "You try telling that to Harry. After what Harry has been through and with how protective he is of his children, especially Cephie, you'll be lucky if he doesn't neuter Paul."

Healer Ryfon wiped his bloody hands off on a towel then magically cleaned and disinfected them. "Your neck is all healed, just be very careful, the new skin is weak and can tear easily."
Chewing on his bottom lip, Harry looked out the sliding glass door. "Why aren't they back yet? What's taking so long?"
Reaching out, Healer Ryfon patted the distressed submissive's knee. "I can feel that your little one is fine. He's scared, but uninjured."
"He needs me!" Harry cried. "Cephie barely knows Jasper, he needs me, his ma."
"Sam will be able to control Paul," Billy tried reassuring. "Paul listens to his alpha."
Leah snorted. "Paul only listens to Sam when he orders him with his alpha voice."
"Leah, you're not helping," Jacob hissed weakly. He felt horrible, having his wolf forcefully put to sleep was the worst.
"I am truly sorry about this, Sirius," Billy said for the hundredth time. "We were out of line."
Jacob looked to his newly discovered relative. "I wasn't lying when I said I wasn't a baby killer. I wasn't going to hurt them, I was going to help protect them."
"I wouldn't have hurt them either," Leah added. "The red eyed bastard on the other hand."
"Language, Leah," Billy scolded. "There are children present."
Healer Ryfon shook his head. "Be thankful that you didn't kill him, missy. The tracker is an elite member of the Volturi guard. Had you killed him, you would have brought the kings here, as well as their highly gifted guard. They would have wiped out your entire tribe, young and old. Aro doesn't know the meaning of mercy."
Billy's eyes flicked over to where the red eyed demon was standing protectively behind the blonde wizard, an arrogant smirk on his face. He had heard of the vampire kings and he knew how ruthless they were. He had also heard of the kings guard and the supernatural gifts they possessed. As much as he hated vampires, especially human blood drinking ones, he was glad that his wolves hadn't killed the leech. His wolves were strong and loyal, but they wouldn't have stood a chance against the Volturi.
"The Cullens shouldn't have brought vampires into our territory without informing us first." Billy said, trying to defend their actions. "This wouldn't have happened had we been alerted before their arrival."
"Forks isn't your territory." Minister Grey said dangerously as he entered the room having just arrived. "Forks is my territory, La Push is yours and your tribes."
"Who are you?" Billy asked warily. He may not be supernatural like his pack, but he could easily sense that this new man was extremely powerful and dangerous.
"I am Minister Grey, the American Minister of Magic." Minister Grey growled before looking to his mate. "What the hell happened? I was in the middle of an ICW meeting and couldn't get away."
"The shifters attacked." Healer Ryfon explained. "Little Cephie couldn't handle all the emotions he was feeling so he lashed out injuring Harry. Jasper ran off with him to get him away from everyone, but one of the wolves chased after him. By the time I got here all hell had broken loose and the shifters were trying to kill the tracker. I put the shifters' wolves to sleep, but I allowed the alpha to go after the beta that chased after Jasper and Cephie."
"We weren't planning on attacking when we first came here to question them." Billy tried clarifying. "We never would have stormed the house had Paul not acted against his alpha and stormed in first. At seeing the red eyed vampire, my wolves lost it."
"The shifters are untrained and undisciplined." Healer Ryfon told his mate.
Feeling a headache coming on, Minister Grey pinched his nose. The past few weeks had been hell, this was the last thing he needed to deal with. Taking a deep breath, he opened his eyes and looked to the submissive. "Are you alright, Harry."
With tears in his eyes, Harry shook his head no. "Jasper isn't back with Cephie. I'm scared something bad happened."
"Harry, Cephie hasn't been hurt," Healer Ryfon tried reassuring again. "I would feel it if he was seriously hurt."
Demetri tilted his head to the side. "They're coming back. They'll be here in a few minutes."
Harry's entire body went limp on the couch. "Oh, thank Merlin," he cried shakily.
"What about us?" Jared asked weakly. "Are you going to give us our wolves back?"
"Your wolves are only sleeping," Healer Ryfon corrected. "But I am tempted to take them away from you for good. You attacked a home full of innocents, your pack is out of control. It's not my decision though, it's up to Minister Grey."
Minister Grey looked to the three wolves who were sitting on the floor looking weak and pathetic. "Your fate lays in the hands of your alpha. I will be talking with him about getting your pack proper training as well as anger management classes. If he agrees then I'll allow Healer Ryfon to restore your wolves. This will be your only chance though, I'm not known for giving second chances. I can't have a pack of wild wolves running around playing judge, jury, and executioner."
"Sam will agree," Bill said seriously, not really liking this man butting his nose in pack and tribal affairs, but also knowing that he didn't have a choice. His boys and Leah had their moments, but he didn't think they were untrained and undisciplined. Well, maybe Paul, Paul had some serious anger issues and even he could admit that he was dangerous.
All heads turned when Aurora got up from where she was playing with a doll and toddled over to Leah, plopping down in her lap. Harry tensed and Demetri started growling, but healer Ryfon held his hand up. "The shifter can't hurt her, she's too weak. Let's see what the little one wants." He knew that the only way to resolve the issue with wolves were for them to see that Harry and his children weren't a threat to them.
Popping her thumb out of her mouth, Aurora reached out and touched Leah's long dark hair. "Pwetty." With her other hand, Aurora grabbed her own thin, baby fine hair and gave it a tug. "Mine pwetty?"
Wide eyed, Leah looked around at everyone, not believing that they were trusting her with a toddler. Not having ever really been around kids, real kids, not boys that acted like kids, she wasn't sure what to do. Was she supposed to support her head or anything?
Healer Ryfon rolled his eyes at the panicking shifter. "She wants to know if you think her hair is pretty? And relax, you're not going to hurt her."
"Oh!" Leah gasped as she looked back down at the beautiful child. "Uhm, yes! Yes, your hair is very pretty."
Aurora gave the shifter a blinding smile. "Dank you."
Leah was floored when the little girl laid her head on her chest then popped her thumb back in her mouth. "I-I'm sorry," she said, looking at the boy who she knew was the little girl's parent with deep regret in her eyes. "I'm so sorry we scared them." With her hand trembling, she started gently rubbing the little angel's back.
Harry didn't like his daughter sitting with the shifter, but he understood what Healer Ryfon was trying to do. He also trusted Healer Ryfon to keep his babies safe. "We're not a threat to you or anyone else. Yes, myself and two of my children drink human blood, but we only drink donated blood. We're not full vampires, we have never attacked anyone and we're not venomous. We have been through a lot and we're just looking for a safe place to settle down. We chose Forks because my godfather has relatives here, and because it's where the Cullens live."
"The little one on Leah's lap is one of the hybrid children?" Billy asked curiously. The child was beautiful, nothing about her looked vampire.
"She is," Harry said, his eyes pleading with the chief to understand. He may have only been in Forks for a short time, and he hasn't even left his bed or the couch yet, but he felt safe here...even with Jasper lurking around. He liked Forks and he didn't want to have to move again. He just wanted a stable, happy home for his children. "She's a normal little girl who loves doing normal kid stuff, she's not a threat to anyone."
Billy looked around the room, his eyes lingering on the red eyed vampire. "It seems we have a lot to discuss. I admit, we were in the wrong, but I also feel we should have been given a warning before your arrival. You have to understand, your arrival trigged the shift in two young boys, barely teens, and that has caused a lot of problems for us. These boys are too young and can't control their shifts. We have to keep them at home and homeschool them because we can't risk them shifting at school. They're a danger to the tribe, to themselves, and to our secrecy."
"I'm sorry, I didn't know." Harry said sadly. "No one told me that us being here could trigger the shift in your tribe."
"That's how it works." Jacob sighed. "Leeches move in, the fever hits, then the next thing you know you're sprouting fur and chasing rabbits."
"Speak for yourself, Black, I have never chased a rabbit." Leah huffed, her face scrunching up in disgust.
Demetri started chuckling. "Harry and his rugrats didn't trigger the shift in your little mutts, the three of them combined don't have enough vampire in them to equal one. It was my presence that triggered the shift."
"Then you can just fuck off." Leah spat.
"Hey!" Harry cried. "Watch your language in front of my children."
"Sorry." Leah mumbled sheepishly.
Demetri smirked. "I'm not going anywhere, bitc...dog." He corrected, giving the submissive a wink. "My mate lives here and I have grown awfully fond of the rugrats. You'll just have to get use to seeing my devastatingly handsome face."
"The tracker has a point." Healer Ryfon said thoughtfully. "I doubt it was Harry, Cephie, and Aurora that triggered your boys to shift, it more than likely was the tracker. Demetri is a very powerful vampire. Since he is the only true vampire in the house, I would like to think that no other young ones will shift."
"I hope you're right. The next boy that could possibly shift is only eight years old and I would hate for him to have to go through that."
"We can help," Minister Grey offered. "There is a division in our Ministry just for helping creatures. There are professionals there that can help teach and guide your pack. You're not alone."
"Thank you, but I will have to discuss it with my alpha and the other tribal elders."
Harry perked up when he heard voices coming from outside. "They're back. Thank Merlin they're back."
