Hermione felt a small weight settle on her bed but dismissed it as nothing. Then she felt someone crawl on top of her. "Mia! Wake up!" A little voice squeaked, shaking her the best she could. "Luna..." Hermione opened her eyes groggily, to realise it was still dark. "Luna, it's still dark." She said sleepily. Luna pouted.
"Aren't we going to class today?" She asked thumb in her mouth.
"Later, Luna, it's too early," Hermione said firmly.
"But!" Luna protested, sounding very disappointed.
"No, Luna." Hermione sighed, flopping back on her bed tiredly. "Not now."
A moment later she woke up again by being hit repeatedly over the head with a teddy bear. "Mia wake up!" Luna squealed. standing on her bed and jumping on it. This time Ginny was behind her and scooped her up. "Luna, we don't hit people." She chided as she carried her to her bed and sat her down there, before going to her room to pick up the tiny Ravenclaw robes and tried to help her put them on.
"I do it myself!" Luna whined, grabbing the robe and tights out of Ginny's hands. "Okay, then?" Ginny sat on her bed and watched, trying hard not to laugh as Luna pulled the tights over her head.
"Help!"
A few minutes later, Luna was dressed and Hermione was trying to untangle her hair, much to her dismay. "OW!" You're hurting meeeeeeeeee!" Luna screamed.
"Nearly done, Luna." Hermione gritted her teeth. She finally untangled Luna's surprisingly long hair and braided it into two long braids.
"There we go!" They went down to Breakfast where Harry and Ron were waiting. Hermione had gotten Luna some toast and orange juice, but she had other ideas and snatched Ron's bacon, just as he was about to eat it.
"Mine!" She said triumphantly.
"That's mine!" Ron complained.
"No! Mine!" Luna said stubbornly, folding her tiny arms. Ron scowled and got another piece, watching her.
Soon, breakfast was over and it was time for lessons. Luna held Hermione's hand as she led her to History of Magic. Luna settled at a little desk with some colouring for her, but soon got bored of it and in the middle of the lesson, was fascinated by Pansy Parkinson's quill.
She got up and toddled over and pulled on her arm. Pansy looked over at her, surprised. "What." She hissed. Luna was not daunted.
"Can I please have your feather-pen?" She asked.
"What? No!" Pansy snapped.
"Whyyyyyy" Luna whined. Pansy only gave her a fierce scowl, which proved to be the wrong move as Luna decided to throw a temper tantrum right then and there.
Every head turned, except Professor Binns, who was somehow oblivious, to see Luna stamping her foot and scream at a terrified-looking Pansy. Hermione watched, surprised at how she was actually enjoying Pansy's torment and decided to let her have it from Luna before thinking about stepping it.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! YOU'RE MEAN, HORRIBLE GIRL AND I HATE YOU!" Luna screamed, stamping her foot some more. Someone gave her a rubber and she immediately threw it at Pansy as she raged on, terrorising her further.
Hermione walked over and picked Luna up and walked back to her desk calmly as the toddler started to calm down. "Keep that little monster away from me! Pansy gasped out, looking like she had been in a tornado.
The rest of the class just laughed, even Ron. It was the most interesting thing that had ever happened in History of Magic, no one was going to deny it, and the funniest part of it was that the toddler, who had been screaming and raging just minutes ago, was quietly sleeping on Hermione's shoulder, looking quite innocent, as though she hadn't been terrorising a girl almost five times her age.
