Chapter 15: Orcelle
Funny thing about Phoenix's they never truly die; they burn and then give birth to themselves
Chris intervened "Azcadelia, I think we should leave them to sort this out"
"I don't think they should know too much" Azcadelia responded, tucking her jet black hair behind her ears.
"It might actually do our family some justice to sort out our unresolved matters. This is our opportunity to right our family wrongs" Chris shot back, holding out his hand. Azcadelia nodded knowing her brother was right. She grabbed her brother's hand and followed him out the attic. Piper and Paige following suite out the attic.
"So, where's your sister?" Phoebe questioned.
Kallisto and Viper glanced at each other before ushering their mother to sit.
"Mom….how much did you see?" Kallisto asked.
"I know you have your sister trapped in a vase. A magical vase that inhibits her ability to resurrect herself. Now where is she?" Phoebe answered. Viper rose from the couch and retrieved a book from the shelf and handed it to her mother.
"You trapped your sister in a book?"
"More like the actual place.. you know the Oz," Viper explained, nervously.
"Mom, Orcelle….those were the dark ages." Kallisto cut in.
"And Orcelle did not exactly side with us-" Viper trying to explain their reasoning behind their actions.
"So you basically vanquished your sister and trapped her in a magical sealed vase." Phoebe butted in. "I do not care how much of a rivalry is going on...she's your sister. Sisters stick together." Phoebe said sternly.
"I mean on the bright side Orcelle can never die...one of those rare genetically mutated blessings from having a child with a cupid" Viper shot back.
"Take me to her now." Phoebe replied flustered with the situation. Kallisto sighed, opening the book and the book sucked them in.
There they were, standing on a yellow brick road with the cold breeze flowing moving through the trees. As Phoebe was guided by her daughters she noticed the fire marks on certain areas of the trail. Someone had definitely been vanquished recently.
They stopped short on a old metal door with the book of shadows symbol on it. Viper stepped forward and trailed inside after opening the door. Phoebe stepped forwarded but Kallisto halted her, shaking her head no. A couple minutes later Viper came out the door holding a vase with the ashes of her sister.
Phoebe quickly stepped up grabbing the vase from her hand. Holding it tight to her chest, a slight tear running down her face as she felt her daughters pain. "I can still feel her…"
"You what?" Kallisto and Viper questioned.
"I am a empath you know," Phoebe said and they looked at each other nervously. "None of you are empaths?"
"No, we were all blessed with the power of premonition except Orcelle. Pandora being the most advance being able to see the past, present and future-even altering time if she wanted. I can only see the future and various timelines of different futures. Well Viper premonition are more like yours. Each of us advance on a different levels but Orcelle she gained empathy from you," Kallisto explained. "Which can be very dangerous for some," Kallisto added shortly, looking over at her blonde haired sister.
"We need to go," Viper informed sensing something was off.
"What is it?" Kallisto asked and Viper looked around.
"No wait, who else is locked in there?" Phoebe questioned.
Viper waved her hand and an fireball appeared in her hand.
"Talk about deja vu!" Phoebe said remembering when she was with Cole. Viper looked at her mother and slightly lowered her head, feeling like a failure.
"Mom, there is something coming and I am not quite sure what it is. We really do not have time for this. " Viper said, giving Kallisto wide eye look. A crown emerged in fire appeared on her head.
"We are not leaving anyone behind," Phoebe informed, her mother instincts kicking in.
Kallisto sighed, forming electric wipes from her hand. "The last door to the left, you will find a door knob covered in ice. There you will recite "all snow falls, all snow comes from the sky, the snow melts but this snow must rise," be careful." Kallisto finished.
Phoebe quickly ran in as she heard chaos in the back, reciting the spell her daughters had given her. The door opened slowly and she found a woman sitting in the corner. The woman was facing the wall but spoke softly "finally decided to set me free," the woman said. "Leave me, I know why you've come."
"To take you home," Phoebe said. The woman quickly turned her head facing her aunt. She swiftly rose from the ground. Noticing Phoebe had her cousin vase in her hands.
"From the past, " the woman said and Phoebe nodded. Phoebe looked behind her as she heard footsteps approaching, it was a demon charging towards her. The woman held out her hand and the demon quickly exploded.
"Thank you," Phoebe said, noticing the same glow coming from this woman's hand.
The woman walked closer, her body fragile from obvious starvation. She moved her ginger hair from her face and smiled slightly. She moved closer to Phoebe causing her to step outside the room.
"It was nice seeing you aunt Phoebe." Her grey eyes piercing into Phoebe's brown eyes. The woman grabbed the door and closed herself back inside. Locking herself back in"But they're on their own now." She said, sitting back down in the corner of the room. Confused Phoebe backed away from the door but not before taking one quick glance as she exited the prison.
"Who is that?" Phoebe asked; coming face with her daughters that looked like they just was in war.
"We should go. I really should not be seen killing evil. I'm pretty sure Pandora told me to keep up appearances." Viper said avoiding the subject. All three voyaging out of the Oz. Both, Kallisto and Viper knew the others would not be happy one bit; especially Jetalunus.
