Meteora didn't know what to do now, her family and semi-friends dead? That can't be, could it? Surely she could do something, but how when she's trapped in the middle of nowhere with the containment of Toffee. Who despite what was going on tried what he can to comfort her crying form, Azrael kept her in a small comforting hug with his semi-muscly lizard arms around her small frame. Despite him being mostly cold-blooded, she can feel the warmth coming through his hug. "I just can't (sniff) believe that-that my p-pa-parents could be dead." She let out with tears rolling down her face.

Arael kept his arms around her and told her, "Maybe not, they seem like people that won't go down so easily."

She whipped her head up to face him with eyes red from crying so much, "How can you be so calm about this?! My family is in danger, your parents are lunatics, and you have the most diabolical mind in Mewman history living inside your brain!" she exclaimed.

"It's kinda pointless to worry about every little thing." he calmly told her, though on the inside he was a little worried. He then held the monster/mewman hybrid by the shoulders, "Listen Meteora, I know things seem bleak. But your family will pull through this, you need to be brave for them and trust that they can find a way to defeat Toffee." he told her trying to be optimistic in their tough times.

She wiped her tears away, "But how?" she asked in a hysterical tone.

"If my mother used the spell I think she did, you shouldn't worry. It's not at its strongest so they should be fine, for the most part." he muttered that last part.

"Why are you being so nice to me?" she asked.

Azrael looked away from the girl, "I didn't ask to hold onto Toffee's soul, I didn't ask to have a maniac and an old lizard man as parents, or to even be born. To be honest, I don't care what Toffee or my parents want. I just want to have a normal life, one where I'm not locked up like a caged animal. One where this freak doesn't live in my head, where I can just live amongst the common folk and play games and have fun and be a kid. You're the first person I've ever really interacted with in a long time."

"Azrael?"

He then faced her with a look of remorse before leaning his head in till their foreheads touched "Meteora, can you be honest with me? If we met under different circumstances...… then would you ever consider me a friend? Or maybe, something more?" though his face is stoic, his eyes and voice had the faintest hint of desperation. She can see that he's suffered through years of abuse, neglect, and nightmares.

Meteora replied to the lizard-limbed boy, "Would you really be okay with someone like me?" she asked with as much desperation, "I'm not exactly a social butterfly, no pun intended."

Azrael's upper eyelids lowered, "Anything you'd want me to be, if you'll allow me to." he sounded so mature, despite being as young as her. Though she's a captive right now, she actually finds this kind of alluring. In the time she's been trapped with Azrael, she's actually found a lot of similarities between the two. Their both hybrids between rival species, they're both a center of controversy, they both have extreme trust issues, and they both just want a friend that they can call their own. They're so much alike, yet so different.

Meteora thought for a moment before shrugging, "Eh what the heck? I got some time to kill." she then closed the distance between their lips, Azrael quickly returned it as they laid down on the bed with him on top of her. Their kiss held up as Meteora wrapped her arms around his neck, her tail also wrapping itself around his waist as he held her face.

(Star and Mariposa)

The two had left the room they found all the pictures in, with very little new information on what Mina was planning. So they got back to Star's original plan in finding Meteora. Right now Star was looking through the all-seeing eye trying to find her cousin, yet it hasn't even picked up on anything related to her.

"Man this is impossible, I was able to find Glosseryick with this spell, why can't I find anyone else on Mewni?" She groaned in frustration.

"Maybe she's not on Mewni." Mariposa said Star then looked at her with a confusing look. "Well think about it for a second, I know the all-seeing eye is meant to be a spying spell, but what if it's only limited to that or to places you have been too." she reasoned.

"But when I used this spell to find Glossoryick I was able to find him, he was at the monster castle and I never been there before." Star cross-examined.

"But if that was true, why did you have a hard time finding Abullea Luna?" Mariposa asked.

"Because she was on Pie Island, but I've been there and I know where it is." Star insisted. "Look I don't know everything about this spell, magic is so fickle." she said as she undid the spell.

"Okay, maybe we're doing this all wrong. Instead of trying to find Meteora we should find Mina, or at the very least someone Mina was close too." Mariposa suggested "If we find them, then they might lead us to Meteora."

"But who would stick around that nutjob other then… Manfred!" Star yelled, she then used the seeing eye spell and quickly found him. Star then grabbed her sister-in-law and ran out of the underground base. She then summoned Cloudly #2 before tossing Mariposa on it and hopped on afterwards, they then went on their way.

(With Marco and Shayna)

The castle was crawling with warriors, some monsters, others corrupted mewmen. And in the walls were Marco and Shayna, they were carefully making there way through the secret passageways. Thankfully Mina and Seth don't know about these.

"Wow Diaz, and I thought I was the sneaky one. How did you find out about these passageways?" The girl asked impressed at the handiwork.

"Well, Eclipsa told Star and she used these when we were hanging out to avoid your dad mostly, in fact I used these tunnals to…"

"Kidnap?" Shayna teased.

"Save! I was going to say save Star." He defended, they soon stopped as Marco placed an ear on the wall.

"What's the hold-up?" She asked, Marco then kicked the wall which opened up a secret door. He looked down on the ground and saw a monster, unconscious and bruised all over. Marco then hopped out and grabbed the half-demon and started running down the halls.

"Where are we going?" She asked.

"Right now I need to get you out of here." Marco answered as he weaved through the castle, out of sights from any of the crazy couple's goons.

"What why?" She asked. "I can take out a few guards, I once knocked out a drunk guy using only my old milk bottle."

"Not gonna happened, we need to try and escape or at the very least find Hekapoo." Marco said.

"Who and why?"

"She's the one that controls the portals and gave me my scissors. With her with us we can use the portals to get Tom to the sanctuary!" Marco explained, just then he noticed that halfling was out of his arm and was speeding ahead.

"Hurry up Diaz, my dad doesn't have a lot of time left!" Shayna yelled as she ran away from him down a hallway, while Marco struggled to catch up.

"Well, that got her moving." He said before realizing "Wait, the exit's the other way." Marco pointed behind him.

"Yeah, but Heckamon's still in the dungeon with the others." Shayna countered.

"Heckapoo." Marco corrected.

"Whatever, just keep moving." the two skillfully avoided the guards without raising suspicion. Marco worries sometimes about Shayna, figured she has more experience with maneuvering heavily armed locations than him.
