"I'm telling you," Sam yelled frustratedly at Jody, "It doesn't go there!"

Hannah stood in the doorway, watching three hunters standing over the not yet completed crib, all wearing looks if irritation on their faces as they tried to figure out how to put the thing together.

"Don't you take that tone with me!" Jody snapped back, mom voice in full effect.

"Sorry," Sam apologized. He just couldn't understand why this was so hard! It was only a crib for crying out loud!

"It's alright, we're all stressed right now." Jody told him.

"Maybe we should look at the instruction again." Charlie suggested.

"Can I please help?" Hannah spoke up, pained at watching the scene, "I'm very good at following instructions."

"It's alright, "Charlie assured her, looking up from the instructed. After looking back down at the instructions, she added, "I think."

"Are you sure you should be up right now?" Jody asked, concerned.

"Dr. Robert said I could be up some of the time." Hannah protested, almost defensively. She had hoped that she and Sam could put the crib together themselves just the two of them, but she held her tongue, not wanting to add any more to the cluster this situation was quickly becoming. Plus, in all fairness she couldn't bend over or lift anything over the weight of a cup, so she wasn't sure how much help she would actually be at this point. It was their own fault, she guessed, stalling this long.

The couple had honestly still been in too much to really stop with baby prep for the first month. After that they had precured at lot of other things first, like car seats, then it took them some time actually picking out a crib, and then they went back and forth about whether to set up a nursery or just sitting up the crib in their room—in the end they went with the later—before finally actually getting around to putting the crib together.

"Okay," Charlie said finally, "According to the instructions, this screw goes there. "

It took another thirty minutes and numerous more returns to the instructions, but somehow they got the crib together, Sam lifting one end and Jody lifting on the other, taking it to the other side of room and placing it against the wall where, at least this was the theory, either parent could easily get to it in the night.

"So, what do you think?" Sam asked as Hannah walked up to him.

"It's beautiful." Hannah replied, taking him by the arm, "I'm sure she'll be very comfortable."

"Now we just need to get the changing table up." Charlie commented.

Sam's heart sank. "Yeah, maybe can we take a minute to recover?"

"What's that?" Dean asked, when he, Castiel and Maudie when they saw the contraption now in their parents bed room.

"It's called a crib." Hannah explained, "It's a special bed for the baby."

"You're gonna put the baby in a cage?" Dean concluded, alarmed.

"Babies shouldn't be in cages!" Cas declared.

"No, no, no it's not a cage." Hannah said, pointing at the opening, "There's nothing on the top, see. If it was a cage there'd be bars on the top. It's built that way to keep the baby from rolling over and hurting itself while she sleeps."

"Why would the baby do that?" Maudie spoke up.

"She wouldn't mean to." Hannah told her, "But babies are so little, they're not always able to control those kinds of things when they fall asleep."

That seemed to stratify the toddler. "Oh."

That afternoon Serena Joy pulled up; Reason riding shot gun. "Thanks for the ride." She told her, getting out.

"Actually, uh, you think it would be okay if I came in to for a minute? "Serena Joy rejected, "I, ah, have a couple of things I need to drop off."

"Really?" Reason responded, surprised.

"Yeah, I got a bunch of onesies I've been accruing since I found out Hannah was pregnant." Serena Joy said, "Thought it was about time I dropped them off."

"Really?" Reason repeated, as, "I have some things I've been meaning to drop off too."

Serena Joy smirked. "Well, that's lucky."

Hannah was in the kitchen, pulling down some cups when there was a knock on the door. "I'll get it."

"No, no," Charlie said, running into the room, "I'll get it."

It's not even your home. Hannah thought, watching the redhead go up the stairs.

When Charlie opened the door, Serena Joy and Reason were standing there, arms full. "Hi." Reason began, "We're here to pick up Maudie, but we wanted to drop some things off at the same time."

"Oh, sure." Charlie responded, "Come in."

They found Hannah in the kitchen, sitting at the table by herself with a what looked like a coffee cup in in her hands.

"Are you sure you should be drinking that?" Serena Joy asked in spite of herself.

"It's milk." Hannah almost snapped. Calming herself, she explained, "Do you want anything to eat. We got tone of leftover noodle milk soup."

"Ah, no thanks." Serena Joy responded, sitting one of her boxes down, "But, um, I did bring over some desert. "She opened the box to reveal a cake covered in cream cheese frosting and topped with semi-sweet and white chocolate curls.

"Oh my," Hannah declared, surprised, "It looks lovely. "Standing up she said, "I'll get the kids, do you have a minute to sit down?" Between preparing for the baby, preparing for the wedding, and Reason's classes, the three hadn't really had that much time to really see each other.

The girls looked at each. "Sure."

After getting the kids their share of the cake, layers of cinnamon spiked angel food cake sandwiched with chocolate pudding as it turned out, Hannah sat back down. "So, what's the occasion?" She asked, claiming her own piece.

"I, ah, overestimated how much I would need and wound up with two cakes." Serena Joy admitted, somewhat abashed.

"You need to do that more often." Reason said, devouring her own piece, whipping a bit of chocolate pudding off the side of her mouth and sucking on her finger.

"Did you not eat today?" Hannah spoke up, as it had been legitimate concern in the past.

"No," Reason answered, "I mean, yeah, yeah, I brought a can of beef stew to school."

"And school, is school still going alright?" Hannah asked.

"Yeah, we're finally getting into more of the hands-on stuff." Reason began, "You know, actually working on cars."

"Vinny still your shadow?" Serena Joy teased.

"Vinny?" Hannah repeated, "Who's Vinny?"

"Vinny, is no one, he's just a guy from school." Reason protested.

"He's a guy who showed up at the dinner." Serena Joy insisted.

"On accident, a month ago." Reason pointed out, "Besides, he has a girlfriend. Didn't we come here for something?"

"Oh, right," Serena Joy began, pulling out her other box and pushing a box towards, Hannah, "Cake's not the only thing I brought."

Hannah opened up the box, revealing a neatly folded stack of onesies, all different colors and designs, some with funny sayings on them, as long as three sets on booties peach booties, peach booties and pink booties with little elephant on top. "Oh," Hannah began, picking up one of the onesies at random, a light pink one that read in black block all caps: THANKS, BUT MY MOM DOES NOT WANT YOUR ADVICE. Hannah smiled, getting the joke from her experiences as a parent so far. However, a few of the other onesies made her raised her eye brows. She held up two in particular, a black one that read in red LITTLE ASS KICKER and a pink one that read: MY MOMMY READS ME BANNED BOOKS At BED TIME.

"What?" Serena Joy question, "With parents like you and Sam, like it's not going to be a little ass kicker. We've more or less established the kid's going to have to super strength. And people have banned Where the Wild Things Are and Winne The Poo. "

"Why would they—" Reason began.

"Talking animals are apparently an affront to God." Serena Joy explained.

"They're all wonderful, thank you." Hannah told her, refolding them when one caught her eye, "This isn't what you think the baby is going to look like, is it?" She held up a black onesie with a picture of bulbous headed, fang bearing baby that announced in dripping red letters, IT'S ALIVE!

"Oh, gosh, no," Serena Joy quickly said, "It's from a movie, from the seventies, I saw it the store and I couldn't believe they actually made such a thing and thought it was funny so I bought it."

"Thank you." Hannah said, putting it back, "I'm sure she'll love it. Well, as much as an infant can have a preference."

Serena Joy handed pulled a plush pink bear with a spear-shaped body out of her bag. "Rawls asked me to drop this off since he, you know, still has no clue where you live." She handed the bear and it rattled.

"Tell him I said thank you." Hannah requested, setting it with the clothes.

Someone a thought occurred to Charlie. "While we're giving gifts, hold on a minute." She left and came back a minute later holding a small brown box. "Go ahead, open it."

Hannah did, finding a stack of three off write wrings with loopy, elegant, flourished brown writing. One ring read, my precious, the other said, one ring to rule them all, the third, a language even she couldn't read. "Lord of the Rings?" Hannah guessed.

"Yeah, it's LOR themed teething set." Charlie explained, "Because everything in baby's reach during the teething phase is a precious, right?"

Hannah chuckled. "Thank you. You really didn't have to, you already—"

"Hannah, let me spoil my niece a little." Charlie quipped, "Really, it was my pleasure."

"Thank you." Hannah said, sitting it with Serena Joy's gifts.

"Um," Reason began, pulling out a brown paper parcel roughly tied together with string, "Sorry about the wrapping."

Hannah's heart swelled a little in delighted surprise. "You have nothing to be sorry for." She told Reason, managing to rip through strings and folds of paper to find five plastic and glass baby bottles, some sort of suction device Hannah didn't recognize, an purple baby sling decorates white and yellow flowers, and a stack of cloth diapers.

Hannah picked up one of the bottles, a doughnut oval decorated with painted cows, smiling half-moons and yellow black and white stars. "Thank you. "After a beat she realized, "How much—"

"Now you're sounding like me." Reason declared," Hannah don't worry about that." After a beat, doubting her decision and feeling somewhat guilty, "Because it's all things I still had from when Maudie was a baby. Now, I thoroughly sterilized everything, boiled them, gave them a scrub down with bleach and peroxide, there are absolutely no germs anywhere on those things."

However, Hannah had other concerns. "But—what if you need them again?"

"I don't think that's gonna happen." Reason said before taking a sip from her own cup.

"Ah, no judgement, but what does that mean?" Charlie spoke up.

"Did you— "Serena Joy began.

"No." Reason cut her off, "It means, I'm not doing the thing that makes a baby ever again, because I'm not going to have to a romantic relationship with anyone ever again, so—" She purposely trailed off.

Everyone was silent for a moment when Serena Joy asked, "When did you decide this?"

"I don't know, a couple of years ago." Reason responded, just wanting this conversation to be over, "It's really not that big a deal."

"You just told us you're going to be mechanic nun, of course we're going to have questions." Serena Joy pointed out.

"What the heck is a 'mechanic nun'?" Reason laughed in spite of herself.

"I don't know, I nun who fixes cars." Serena Joy replied.

"Reason, we know you weren't treated well, but don't you think swearing off getting involved with anyone again all together is a little drastic?" Hannah asked, concerned, "I mean, you're still young."

"Look, guys I've thought this through," Reason declared, "I'm not risking getting some creep who'll mistreat my daughter. And some people are just destined to be singles, there's more to life than finding someone to— 'be' with, plenty of people live perfectly fulfilling celibate lives, just look at Charlie."

Charlie nearly spit out of her milk at that. "Excuse me? I am not living a celibate life, I'm just having a really, really long dry run. Monster hunting doesn't really conduce to healthy relationships. Just look at how many romances Sam went through before finally finding this one. Dean's wasn't much better."

"Can we please not talk about my husband's dating history?" Hannah requested, "Or my son's for that matter. Most definitely not my son's dating history, please. "Even she knew that was weird.

"Oh, good Lord that sentence." Serena Joy mused, momentarily wondering how they even got here."

"So, how's the wedding planning coming?" Reason chimed trying get them on any conversation that didn't involve her life choices or Dean's past life.

"We finally got it down to two venues." Serena Joy answered, "And we're looking at the end of June, maybe even early July. Also, we're definitely going with a DJ for the reception." After a beat she began, "And speaking of the wedding, there's something I've meaning to ask the two of you." Her head gestured to Reason, then Hannah. "Because my parents did their part to stave off the impending population bust, we had a pack not to ask the others to be maid of honor because, well, there's four of us that means there's going to be two people whose feeling could get hurt. Now, I know you two have a lot of your plate, but I figured more than the sum of your parts, so—Reason, Hannah, would you two be my co maids of honor?"

Reason in spite of herself, let out a little squeal, pulling Serena Joy into a hug. "Yes, of course!"

Hannah however, tilted her head, somewhat confused.

Realizing the confusion Serena Joy explained, "Basically you two would be helping me out an inordinate amount with the wedding, being the point person for the guess and the rest of the bridesmaids, serving as messenger between the bride and groom pre ceremony, have the contact information for the venders, keep me from panicking and doing a 'runaway bride' , hold the flowers while I kiss Rawls, sign the marriage license, play host at the reception, that sort of thing."

"Like your sister's friend the wedding planner was rude to." Hannah deceased.

"Exactly." Serena Joy responded, then realized, "That's not ringing indorsement of the job, is it?"

"Probably not." Hannah confirmed, "But I'd still be honored."

Serena Joy's heart swelled a little at the thought that with everything they had going on right now they would both do this. "Thanks guys." She told them.

Just then Jody walked in. "I saw Charlie going down the hall, is everything okay?"

"Yeah." Charlie confirmed.

"We just dropping off some things for the baby and we got to talking." Reason explained, looking down.

"Sorry." Hannah told her, suddenly filling guilty for not including her. She would have, it was just that everything started so unexpectedly, and she was engrossed in the conversation and not thinking.

Jody however, got a spark in her eye. "If we're dropping stuff off, I actually have something. Don't go anywhere." With that, she disappeared again.

Everyone exchanged confused looks, wondering what was going on.

A seconds later, Jody came back, carrying a large box with a picture of a baby on a pink cloth hitting what looked like a little keyboard with its feet.

Hannah covered mouth. "Jody… You already…" Then it occurred to her. "Charlie, you already…."

"Like I said earlier." Charlie spoke up, "Let us spoil the kid."

"I second that." Jody declared.

"Thank you." Hannah said, getting up, "W-Would you like to sit down? I think we've exhausted our chair supply, but I could find you one somewhere. Serena brought cake over."

Looking at the cake, Jody commented, "That does look good. But don't worry I can find my own chair."

A few moments later, Jody came back with chair, sitting down as Hannah handed her a slice in the mug. "So, what did I miss?"

"Serena Joy asked Hannah and Reason to be her maids of honor, and Reason was a good sport about us questioning her lifestyle choices." Charlie recapped.

"Can I ask?" Jody responded.

"It all started when…" Reason began.

The women spent the next ten minutes talking, losing track of time actually, when there was a knock at the door. "I'll get it." Sam called out from elsewhere in the bunker.

"Alright," Hannah called back, then went back to talking with the girls.
Sam walked off the door and, took a peek and saw Tabbris shifting his weight awkwardly. Sam closed his eyes for a moment, then opened the door. "Hey," He greeted the angel somewhat awkwardly, "That time of the month again?"

"Yes." Tabbris confirmed, "May I come in?"

"Of course." Sam agreed stepping back.

"So, how's Hannah?" Tabbris asked, following Sam down the stairs, "How's the pregnancy progressing?"

"She's started having these little pains sometimes." Sam admitted.

Tabbris' eyes widened in alarm. "Pains?"

Sam turned around. "We were actually hopping to talk to you about it, actually. Hannah told me what said about them."

The women were still talking when Sam called out, "Honey?! Where are you?!"

"In the kitchen." Hannah called out.

Sam walked into the kitchen, Tabbris behind him. "What's all this?" Sam asked good naturedly.

"Well, Serena Joy and Reason waned to drop some things off for the baby and I think it became something of importune baby shower." Jody explained.

"What does showering— "Hannah began.

"A baby shower is a type of party for an expectant mother where their friends bring gifts they're going to need for the baby." Reason explained quickly, "Now that I think of it, I'm surprised we didn't plan one already. We are terrible friends."

"No, you're not!" Hannah declared immediately, "You're the best friends anyone could ask for. I wasn't expecting anything. And I'm so, so grateful for this."

"And to be fair, you did do the basic stuff." Tabbris pointed out to the young woman.

"That's right!" Serena Joy responded, "Thank you—uh, guy who I have no clue who you are, actually."

"Everyone this is Tabbris, he's been helping us with the pregnancy." Hannah began, "Tabbris, these are my friends, Reason, Serena Joy, Jody, and of course you've met Charlie before."

"Tabbris?" Jody repeated, "That Tabbris?"

"Ohhhh." Reason added in.

"I see my reputation proceeds me." Tabbris commented, sitting down awkwardly, "So, I know it's a bad time, but Sam told me you've been having pains."

"Pains?" Serena Joy repeated, concerned.

"What pains?" Reason asked, also concerned.

"They're not very big." Hannah told him, "More like pin pricks, and they don't happen that often."

"Alright, how much is not often?" Tabbris questioned.

"Yeah, how much is not often?" Serena Joy repeated.

"Ladies," Tabbris began, "Perhaps it would be better for me to ask the questions."
"Okay." Reason agreed.

"Sorry." Serena Joy apologized, before miming zipping her lips.

"Once or twice every few days." Hannah told him, "Is this—is this what Abigail described?"

"Hers were daily by the point." Tabbris told her, "It could be that we were right about your angelic nature slowing the deterioration, softening the damage."

"And that's good, right?" Sam spoke up hopefully.

Tabbris grinned. "It's great. We should be right on schedule for the 30th. Speaking of which…"

"Dr. Robert's already got the operating room ready." Hannah told him, "We'll get there the night before, Reason agreed to watch the boys, if for some reason she can't we've told Elsbeth's the baby's breech and she agreed to be our back up baby sitter, the doctor will induce that morning and perform the surgery, Annamaria will be on standby." She had gone over it so many times in her head, and out loud she had it memorized by heart. It didn't make her any less nervous.

Tabbris reached out, grabbing her hand. "It's going to be fine. You and the baby are going to be fine. We've got a good plan together." They were silent for a moment, then, realizing he had probably had his hand over hers too long, he pulled back, saying. "I, ah, actually brought something, for the baby." Her reached into his jacket and pulled out a small stuffed pink and white bear, just did enough to fit in his hand.

He handed it to Hannah and squeezed. "It's soft." She commented, before looking up, "Thank you."

"It was my pleasure." Tabbris stood up, asking, "Considering it's what everyone thanks I'm here can I…."

"There this way." Sam said, "I'll supervise. But, ah, as long as we're handing out baby gifts." He pulled something out of his pocket. "A couple of the girls at the commune made this." He handed Hannah wooden rattle decorated with fanciful farm animals of pink and blue.

Hannah took it giving it a little shake. "It's beautiful."

"Ah, apparently, one of the cherry trees got taken out by lightening." Sam explained, "And, ah, when she gets older, there are seeds inside so, hey, we got ourselves a cherry tree."

Hannah smirked. "If I don't get to first, tell them I said thank you."

The women were still talking a few minutes later, when there was knock at the door. "I'll get it." Charlie declared, standing up.

"No, Charlie, I'll— "Hannah began, but she was slow that by the time she got up, Charlie was gone, "Never mind." Then she plopped back down.

"Hey, what's wrong?" Reason answered, realizing something was off.

"It's just-" Hannah began, then sighed. "Everyone's suddenly treating me like an invalid. I can still do things. I'm not completely helpless."

"We know, that, it's just—" Jody began.

"You're at the end of a very high-risk pregnancy," Reason pointed out, "Everyone just wants to help. Come on, Hannah, you can't tell us you can move around as well as you use to."

Hannah looked down. "No, I can't."

"We just care about you." Reason continued, "And you'll be able to do things again soon enough."

Suddenly the baby started doing summersaults again. Hannah put a hand on her stomach. "It's alright little one. You're worth it."

That was when Charlie came in followed by Abigail. "Hi guys." Abigail began sheepishly, "Didn't mean to interrupt a party."

"No, it's fine." Hannah assured her, "Is everything okay?"

"Yeah, I just—" She held the lamp in her hands, "I found this, it was Janie's, I thought…"

"Abigail, I couldn't— "Hannah began.

"No, I think she would want—she would want the next one to have it." Abigail got out.

As Abigail handed it to Hannah, the angel noticed a bandaged wrapped around the woman's wrist. "What—"

"Oh, I was over at Stacy's again and she had her alligator monitor out and he bit me." Abigail lied, "Don't worry, we went to the doctor, got fifteen different shots, I'm going to make."

"Your friend's stepdaughter keeps a water monitor for a pet ?" Hannah asked, "That seems dangerous."

"It can be." Abigail admitted, "She's usually better with safety precautions, but occasionally she slips up." After a beat she continued, "I worry about her sometimes. She's out there practically in the middle of nowhere, anything could happen, and that girl, she's like Helene's actual daughter. I can't bear to think about her doing through-what I went through with Janie."

Abigail's sob story was an even mix of truth and falsehoods. Yes, Stacy did have an affinity for reptiles, and yes, she did have an alligator monitor, she kept him contained responsibly and handled him responsibility. No unnecessary risks. And she, Helene and the others did worry, but the situation was not nearly as dire as she proclaimed. As for the bite, well, it came from Melanie, but she was going to play it for all it was worth.

It apparently worked, as Hannah leaned in, pulling the human into an awkward embrace, lamenting, "Oh, Abigail…"

Meanwhile, Tabbris had finished his interview with little Castiel, who was preoccupied with the little wooden puzzle he had given him. Meanwhile, Dean was battling three 'witches'—Maudie, Alex, and Magda—who has just discovered the knight's witness: Tickling. Alex started tickling him and her fell over, dropping his sword. "Cas!" Dean squealed, "Help!"

"Thank you, Castiel." He stood up and turned to where Sam had been, only to find the hunter. "Ah, where did your dad go?"

"I dunno." Cas said, before sitting the puzzle down and going to rescue his brother from the witches.

Slightly worried, Tabbris crept out, looking for the current Winchester patriarch. "Sam?" He found Sam with his back to him, a few feet away. "Sam?"

Sam turned around, almost startled. "Hey. Ah, you done?"

"Yeah, do I need to see myself out?" Tabbris offered.

"No, no, it's fine." Sam told him.

"Sam, you know you can trust me." Tabbris tried to reassure him, sensing Sam's unease.

"I know." Sam said as they walked.

They walked in silent for a moment, before Tabbris spoke again, "Sam, can I ask you something?"
"Ah, sure." Sam replied, thought he worried he would come to regret it.

"I've noticed you seem to be…uncomfortable around me." Tabbris observed, "Is there anything I can do to make you feel—better about the situation. If it helps, I always bring back a good report."

Sam paused a long moment before he spoke, but decided not to deny. "It's not you, as a person. It's not even that officially you're our divine social worker or whatever, granted, it doesn't help, it's just…." He hesitated before saying what he said next, "I look at you and I look at Abigail and sometimes-I get scared. I see-basically everything that could go wrong for us." Tabbris and Abigail's relationship was in ruins, she could barely stand to be in a room with him, they were both severely broken….

And they lost their child.

Tabbris stopped where he stood. "That's not going to happen to you. You have serval things we didn't have. Since the living arrangement's out in the open now, now, minus a few details, no one's going to suspect anything, your location means it's highly unlikely anyone will find out, and since angels can't detect Nephilim just by sight, if they find about a third child you should have no trouble passing her off as just another member of the Winchester home for orphans. And most importantly, they have you."

"What?" Sam responded, not entirely sure what that meant.

"You're a better father than I ever was." Tabbris told him, "Partner too, probably. I was never around, I would be gone for days, weeks, sometimes months at a time. One time, I didn't see Jane or Abigail for almost a year, completely radio silence, they were starting to think I was dead. Perhaps not surprisingly, that was around the time me and Abigail broke up. I told myself, told them, that I had a good reason. That I was doing it for us, to keep Jane safe, but—I could've done better. You are the under hand, are there, almost always. I barely knew my own child, I was often emotionally distant and if it was discipline issue I was either way too harsh or too linnet and wouldn't know until Gail told me-I couldn't even support them finically, because messenger of Heaven doesn't exactly pay that well, or anything at all. Sure, every now and then I was able to scrap up cash I found somewhere, or a jewel Abigail could pawn for like half of what it was worth, or a bill of groceries, but Abigail or Oliva were paying for everything. If it wasn't for sister, they would have been on street sometimes. You work like a dog to make your kids have what they need, even though you could do other things, but you do it this way to set an example for him. My—first reaction when Abigail told me she was pregnant was this was punishment for our dissidence and that the only way to atone was double Hari Kari. She was so terrified she and ran and hid and I didn't find her until just before Jane was born. But you -your first reaction was to find a way to save both your wife and your unborn child. And those are they things that are really going to get your through this." They were silent for a moment, Tabbris looked down then up. "That turned into more of a confessional than I meant it to."

"Yeah, little bit." Sam agreed, "Oddly comforting, though." Sam got oddly sober, "But, I'm sorry, though, all that happened."

"Me, too." Tabbris replied, just as sober.

They made it to the stairs just as Abigail, who had just begged off the festive in the kitchen, was heading that way. Both froze when they saw each other. "Tabbris…" Abigail began.

"Gail…" Tabbris began, "How—how have you been?"

"Okay," Abigail responded, "I was just—dropping off Janie's lamp. The one who looked like Snow White. I thought she would want the baby to have it."

"I think that, too." Tabbris responded, "By the way she…"

"Don't." Abigail cut him off, "Don't please." It was unfair, that he still got to see her, and she couldn't because she was stuck down here.

That was when Tabbris saw the bandage. "You're injured. "He reached out a hand. "Here, let me…"

"Don't." Abigail cut him off again, pulling back, "I mean you can't heal evertthing Tabbris." After beat she added, "I'm just going to go."

Tabbris watched her leave before finally ascending the stairs himself.

After everything had calmed down somewhat and Serena Joy and Reason left with Maudie, Hannah was taking some of the gifts to her and Sam's bedroom to put with the rest of the baby things. However, when she got there, she stopped at what she saw above the crib.

Attached to the white crib, hovering about the aera where the baby would sleep, hovered a device from which hung four black and white felt squares. One had a bull's eye on the bottom. Two had stripes. One had an almost harlequin design.

"You like it." Sam said from behind her, coming up, "It's called a mobile, it's supposed to stimulate the baby's brain function. I found the design online, the black and white is supposed to be good for the baby's eyes."

"You…you made this?" Hannah asked almost mystified.

"Yeah," Sam confessed almost sheepishly, "What do you think?"

"It's beautiful." Hannah told them. Putting an arm over her belly, she added, "It's just missing one thing."

Realizing what she meant, Sam put his hand over her stomach, "Just three more weeks."

Hannah laid her head on his shoulder. "Three more weeks."
