Han Solo and Leia Organa stood side by side glaring at the control room viewscreen. Nothing about the current situation had changed in over an hour but although they were nearing a mental breaking point, both of them were managing to keep their focus razor sharp. It definitely helped that the top notch crew, from their trusted high level commanders down to the greenest techs were all performing above and beyond the call of duty.

Data was constantly being analyzed so that status reports could be relayed to both of them at short regular intervals and Chewie and Finn had even joined them so as to be kept in the know and to provide any needed support.

If the situation hadn't been so emotionally draining, Han reasoned that he would be extremely pleased with how all of his people were responding and would be outwardly showing it. This time, however, there was too much weighing on his heart. His only daughter had become a pawn in a deadly game with a madman and there was nothing he could do but wait.

"I can't take this much longer.", he said to his wife as she handed a datapad back to a young analyst. "There has to be something we've missed. Something we can use."

"You heard him earlier", Leia responded. "We can't risk doing anything that would give him a reason to unleash more destruction."

Han raised his hands to his head, rubbing his temples to try and relieve the pressure that was becoming almost unbearable.

"How long has it been now since she took off?", he blurted out wearily.

"Seventy minutes ago give or take, Sir", Finn informed the Admiral

"This waiting is infuriating.", Han said with clear annoyance. "And why are they sticking around? He has what he wants."

"He might not have everything he came here for.", Leia replied.

"What do you mean by THAT?", her husband asked as a puzzled look appeared on his face.

As he was waiting for a reply, the small group was suddenly distracted by the frantic beeps and chirps of an astromech droid in the distance. They all whirled around to see BB-8 rolling and weaving his way at breakneck speed through all the people that were packing the control room, doing their assigned duties. The voice of C-3PO could also be heard as he was rather unsuccessfully trying to keep pace with the little orange ball of excitement.

"BB-8, slow down! They won't be able to understand you until I get there anyway", said the golden protocol droid. "And you know my legs will not allow me to run."

The small rolling droid was seemingly not interested in listening to his counterpart, because he neither slowed down nor stopped trying to communicate the whole way across the room. When he arrived at Leia's feet he was still blasting out his mechanical conversation and showed no sign of quieting.

"Ok, Ok little guy.", she said as she bent down to one knee and laid her hand on his domed head. "What's got you so wound up?"

More incomprehensible whines and whistles emanated from the droid and he actually started bouncing up off the ground as he tried to emphasize the information he was trying to impart.

"C'mon goldenrod, hurry up!", Han barked out to C-3PO as he approached them. "Whatever this ball has to say seems pretty damn important."

"Um…yes…Admiral Solo", the protocol droid replied. "It is of the utmost importance"

"BB-8 has been monitoring encrypted communications between the three ships in the fleet above Nuldarra since they arrived.", he continued. "It seems that their method of encryption is very strong. The use an exponential private-key inversion method that….."

"THREEPIO, GET TO THE POINT-!", Leia screamed at him as she stood up followed by an angry howl from Chewbacca and a loud scolding chirp from BB-8 that startled the golden translator so much he almost fell over.

"Yes…oh…the point", C-3P0 sputtered. "BB-8 has intercepted commands from the computer subsystems for the weapons on the larger two vessels."

"And what did they say?", Han asked with annoyance in his voice.

"They are charging the weapons to fire again.", the droid informed them. "And he also was able to decipher the exact amount of time until they are fully charged again."

"Yeah-!?", Han said, this time with even more impatience towards the protocol droid.

"They will be able to fire again in exactly sixty-two minutes.", C-3PO continued.

"That's why they're still hanging around.", Finn said solemnly.

"BB-8, are you sure that is the correct time?", Leia asked.

The little droid's head dome spun about a full three hundred-sixty degrees as he whined in high pitched tones and shuddered back and forth.

"I'm pretty sure that's a yes.", said Han to which Chewbacca barked in agreement.

"I'm assuming they are going to fire at us here on the mountain this time.", said Leia.

"We need to get every ship we have here in the air to go at those warships.", The Admiral announced. "And it needs to be now."

"What about Lara?" , exclaimed Finn. "She's on one of those ships."

The question hung in the air for a few seconds with no one daring to say what everyone seemed to be thinking. Eventually her father spoke.

"I have a plan.", he said.
