"...Well, here ya go!"
Tina stomped her sneakered feet, brand new neon pink leg warmers over her tall socks.
Dollface fluffed out Tina's blue skirt. "Maybe tuck yer shirt in? It might look nicer."
Tina considered Dollface's offer and started tucking her light blue unicorn shirt right then and there.
"Okay, would've said to wait and go to the bathroom first, but go off."
"My dad says that a lot."
"Okay." Dollface said, "Great to know. Uh, what else?"
"Uuuuuuuuuuuh."
"Tina?" Dollface asked, "Tina?"
"Oh go-awd, she's broken again!" Whined a girl frm where they stood in the back, "The weirdo's broken again!"
"Tina?" Dollface dropped her voice, breathing deep, "Calm down."
Tina kept loudly groaning.
"Tina." Dollface said, "Presentations start soon. You're up soon."
Tina started jumping, "Hup! Hup! Hup!"
"Tina!" Dollface grabbed her shoulders, holding her down, trying to stay even in tone. "I have an idea."
"...For my piece, I received a jacket from my father." Tina said, quietly.
Dollface held her breath, fingers woven on her desk. Her fingers tightened.
"And I uuuhhhhh," Tina looked through coke bottle lenses at Dollface. Dollface thumbs-upped and smiled.
"And I decided to tailor it to someone more my shape." Tina said, "And I added some bias tape to the sleeve cuffs and hem."
Tina unbuttoned the suit jacket and pulled it off the form, an added and optional touch. Dollface bit back her smile, then let it unfold in an awkward, cocked grin.
Tina did a small, lazy spin with her arms outstretched, "As you can see, fits perfectly."
She crossed her arms, a casual and cocky smile on her face. She pushed her glasses up her nose. "It will be perfect for the upcoming dance."
The class golf clapped as she pulled off her jacket and marched from the black board.
"Co-watch."
"Co-vatch, ma'am."
"I don't care." Applegate snipped, "Just get up."
"Kay."
