-Training Ground Seven-

"Teach us a jutsu! All we've trained in has been teamwork and taijutsu!" Naruko groaned, to Rin.

"They have been nothing but good students contradictory to what I had thought they would be as students, " Rin thought to herself considering the blonde's desire.

Glimpsing at Satsuki silently perform her kata's Rin beamed a smile and clapped her hands together obtaining both girl's attention. She already knew Kakashi intended to pass down his Chidori to the Uchiha as a gift for the chuunin exams. But what to do with Naruko?

That's it!

"Come here girls, let's check your chakra natures."

She handed a slip of paper to the bouncing Naruko and to the interested Satsuki. Seeing both girls input their chakra into the slip of papers she waited for the results to show.

Naruko's paper sliced in half and then dampened on one slice. So wind and water. She could definitely work with that.

Satsuki's paper wrinkled into a ball and then caught aflame. Two nature types that she doesn't specialize in, but Kakashi was a natural at lightning jutsu and a user of each element.

Just incredible, both of her genin had two chakra natures. Two that compliment each other nicely. She just knew that Haru had to have two as well or more even. Her team seven was the best!

"Naruko you're with me, I'm pretty good at using water jutsu. Satsuki you're with Kakashi, let him know which of your two-elements you'd like to learn a jutsu and train for," she announced pointing at Kakashi who was sitting in a tree reading his smut.

"Thanks, Sensei," the raven-haired girl let out, jogging over to Kakashi who had jumped down from on top of the tree, eye smiling at her.

Looking at the eager spitfire that was Naruko Namikaze, Rin smiled and walked over to the small stream that ran under their bridge.

"No way you don't know jutsu yet, you always talk about them and Minato-sensei spoils you. So, let me see what you've got first."

Naruko smiled ecstatically at being able to show off her ninjutsu.

"Can I practice at home?" Satsuki asked, walking towards a soaked Rin and soaked Naruko.

"Satsuki yes, but let's have a talk okay. It's partially about Haru," Kakashi remarked to who he considered to be a perfect student.

Satsuki frowned and nodded. She was happy that Kakashi apparently wanted to talk about Haru when nobody else would. Rin has been dodgy and Naruko just wants to believe that he would come back.

"Hey, guys I'm going to steal Satsuki for a bit of time okay, " Kakashi disclosed, disappearing in a flow of leaves with Satsuki.

"Is it a boy or a girl?" Naruko asked, looking at Rin's stomach dismissing Kakashi and Satsuki.

"Mmm we don't know yet Naruko-chan, but you'll be the first to know," Rin declared hugging the girl.

"Ramen?"

"How about Barbecue?"

Appearing on a building that loomed over her clan compound, Satsuki stood over the crouching Kakashi, still looking at his book.

"Kakashi-sensei?"

"Hm," he answered.

Glare...

Raising his hands in surrender to the girl, he continued, "Your father has spoken to me about you being on a team with Haru. He doesn't approve of you being on Team Seven."

He clasped her arm when she looked about ready to storm her way down the building to her home. "Rin and I understand that you and your father don't see eye to eye, and we've decided to say screw him. You are our beloved student and are an adult from Konoha's viewpoint. You can stay with us instead if you want."

Satsuki could only stare dumbly at him. What he just said was utter foolishness. Her father is the Uchiha clan head and the Chief of the police force. One of the strongest men in the village in both standing and power.

"Don't give me that look. Your father Wicked eye Fugaku, is a S-rank shinobi who may have been able to beat me years ago. But now, I'm not too sure about that, my cute little student."

Standing up he looked her in the eyes and spoke seriously, "You are one of my students and I will not allow anyone to ever force you to do something you don't want to do Satsuki. Tell me, do you want to come home with me and Rin and stay with team seven?"

Noticing her clench her fist and look down nodding, he smiled gently and placed his hand on her head and said, "let's go get your stuff then."

Satsuki avoided the eyes of her clansmen watching her and Kakashi walk through the street. She peeped at Kakashi noticing he was completely relaxed, guiding her through 'her' streets with his face in his book.

Stopping at her house she avoided her father who was standing outside and walked right past him and past her mother who was behind the man. Sneaking another glance at Kakashi, she smiled seeing his iconic eye smile.

Now that his daughter was inside Fugaku stared at the man who wielded his clan's Sharingan, "You've escorted her far enough Hatake. You can leave now."

Instead of leaving Kakashi pretended to be immersed in his reading knowing it would further agitate the Uchiha in front of him. He sighed in his head when he heard a crashing noise from within the house.

Satsuki might be a sweet Uchiha, but she sure did inherit that infamous anger.

Catching a glimpse of Fugaku attempt to enter the house he grabbed the man's wrist tightly and eye smiled at him, "Mm I'm sorry Fugaku-dono, but I'm going to have to ask you to not enter your house until Satsuki is done."

He ducked his head under the quick swipe the Uchiha head sent him and tugged at the man's wrist dragging him further away from the house. Kakashi let go of his wrist and dusted his pants comically with his book still to his face.

He knew that would get under the man's skin. He smashed his forearm against Fugaku's, further angering the man. There was only one Uchiha he knew who he couldn't anger and he was far, far away from the Leaf. Hopefully.

"I knew it would be easy to defeat you, but I certainly didn't realize it would be this easy," Kakashi joked peeking up from his book.

He tilted his head some to the left, feeling a cold blade being held to his neck by one of the many Uchiha Officers encircling him. Creating sealess shadow clones he smirked seeing Fugaku's arrogant smile shift back into a grimace.

All of those present were caught off guard by Satsuki running out of the house pushing her father away and grabbing onto Kakashi who sent her a thumbs up.

Pushing the steel blade from his neck casually, the Copy Ninja nodded to Satsuki and performed a Shushuin taking his Uchiha student away with him.

Hearing footsteps behind him, Fugaku fully expected to see his wife and mother of his two children with a bruise on her face but frowned seeing her red hand.

Sigh.

"Return to your post. All is dealt with here," he commanded to his officers. No matter how hard Fugaku wanted to be angry at the village he found that he couldn't because he loved it.

Hugging his wife who looked like she wanted to cry but didn't, he silently swore vengeance upon the Hatake's. He and his demon of a wife were no good for his daughter to be around, let alone Haru.

Satsuki looked around the house that she had just appeared inside of seeing Naruko and Rin munching on some barbeque.

"Welcome home!" Rin exclaimed with her mouth full and Naruko looking at the red mark on Satsuki's face questionably. She didn't expect to see her here of all places but wasn't going to oppose it.

Kakashi nudged the girl forward and sat down at the table next to his pregnant wife and cheerful student. He chuckled when the girl lowered her bag and sat down at the table with them. Choosing to not eat but instead watch them eat while reading his beloved Icha Icha, he wished Haru the best wherever he was.

Haru groggily opened his eyes and was greeted with two lightly shining green hands pouring chakra into his body. He moaned in comfort and satisfaction feeling the chakra mend his wounds and numb the pain of his five-day beatdown session.

Haru snuck a glance up at the person healing him. He didn't know whether the woman was a beauty or not because of the all-white mask, but he did know that she was a full-figured woman given by how she was kneeling over him, her chest right above his eyes.

"Lord Danzo would like to speak to you, Haru-sama," the woman healing him spoke, not bothered by him ogling her.

Danzo, the man who had taken him hostage under the pretense of being his student. As much as he didn't want to be near the man let alone speak to him, he had questions regarding him being 'used' by the Hokage.

Sitting up he glanced shyly at the woman, noticing that his torn and ruined clothes were replaced with an all-black outfit. Black shinobi pants with a black robe over a mesh shirt.

Did she dress him? He wondered as she took hold of his arm and escorted him through the dim-lit room to a stone door. Haru raised an eyebrow when she bowed to him and disappeared into the shadows where they had come from.

He squinted his eyes in irritation when the stone door opened and inside shined a bright light that burned against his eyes. Letting his eyes adjust he saw that it was just a well lit, dojo and inside was Danzo sitting down looking directly at him as Root soldiers exercised various forms of combat training.

He glared at the sitting man who was plotting to kill his one day father in law. Haru cautiously took a step forward and another until he stood in front of the man.

Gulping he sat down and went on with glaring into the man's watchful eye.

"Do you despise me Sarutobi?"

"Yes."

Haru found that the answer came out before he could think almost as though his mouth and voice acted on its own. Seeing the old man nod and reach behind him, Haru tensed and readied himself for an attack only to be caught off guard when he brought forward a file full of papers.

"That's fine my pupil. I prefer you hating me rather than liking me or whatnot. Feelings get in the way of being a ninja," Danzo lectured, taking a paper out of the file.

"You have questions and I have answers, so ask away Sarutobi."

Haru didn't waste any time asking the only thing that has been on his mind since he awoke. "How did the Hokage use me?"

Smirking at already knowing what he would ask, Danzo slid forward the paper across the shiny wooden floor.

-Twelve Years Ago-

Minato Namikaze was having the worst day of his entire life. His wife was half dead with their newly born daughter, resting in their shared home. The Hokage Mansion far away from the masked Uchiha who had threatened them just minutes ago.

Minato heard the thundering roar of the Kyuubi running rampant inside his village and growled. He needed to finish this fast or else more of his citizens would die, but the man in front of him wielded a powerful presence that mandated his utmost attention.

He was able to control the Kyuubi with just a glance. Is he Madara Uchiha?

Bringing up his tri-pronged kunai he frowned more when the Uchiha didn't arm himself instead tilting his head to the side. He looked like he wished to talk rather than fight.

What was with this Uchiha?

Uchiha, the name made his mouth bitter. Knowing that beneath the orange mask licked with a black flame design was a member of his Village upset him greatly.

"Who are you?"

"I am a puppet for a God you call, the Ghost of the Uchiha clan. And my purpose here today is done. But know that we will return for our pet when the time arrives Fourth Hokage Minato."

Minato threw his kunai at the Uchiha once he turned his back to him and winded his narrowed eyes when his kunai went right through the now gone man.

That was Space-Time Ninjutsu! And one greater than his own.

Filing away the mystery Uchiha's vow and strange ability, he vanished in a yellow flash and reappeared on top of his stone head creating a large scale Hiraishin (Flying Thunder God) formula in preparation for the Bijudama (Tailed Beast Bomb) that was hurling towards the Villages most sacred heirloom.

XxLine BreakxX

Hiruzen alongside the Ino-Shika-Cho trio and a plethora of Jonin each let out a breath of air seeing the Biju's mighty attack seemingly be absorbed by the current Hokage's jutsu.

"Finally now we can finish the beast off," grumbled Hiruzen after an explosion miles away from the village erupted.

Hiruzen watched proudly as Minato his chosen predecessor appealed on the snout of the Biju slapping a seal on its head making it slouch for a second, the Sharingan blazing in its eyes formerly, now gone.

He nodded to Minato right before the Biju, and Minato were each transported outside the village right on top of the ruined land where the Bijudama had landed.

Spinning his partner Enma around expertly he jumped high on top of a building and rushed to where he saw the outline of the Biju raging against the ground over the horizon.

He had to hurry! He wouldn't let Minato die no matter what.

Launching himself from building to building, he performed the necessary hand signs for the Jutsu he planned on using in his head.

Trees were uprooted, trenches were formed and lying on a pedestal away from all the carnage was a newly born babe sleeping peacefully as golden chains and equally golden flashes barraged the Biju. Slamming his bo-staff into the ground he forced a reverse summon on his partner not wanting him to see what was to come.

He would pass his will of fire down instead of Minato to the next generation.

Standing with his back to the child Hiruzen the third Hokage went hand-sign to hand-sign each being performed masterfully and gracefully. Knowing that this would be his final Jutsu he ever performed, Hiruzen smiled at the sleeping baby and then laughed thinking of another child he had the privilege of meeting. His beautiful grandson Haru.

Mustering all the chakra he could he clapped his hands, completing the S-Rank Kinjutsu.

"Shiki Fujin (Reaper Death Seal)!" He thundered, gaining the attention of the blonde man and the dying Redhead.

He truly felt sorry seeing Kushina's tear and pain-filled face witnessing the Reaper run its arm through his stomach and latch onto the Kyuubi's throat shrinking in size until invisible. The creation of a new Jinchuriki was the last thing she wished for and he knew that.

He'd be quick with it. For her.

Bringing his finger up to the child Hiruzen mouthed an apology to the two Shinobi as he fell forward dead. And a spiral seal imprinted itself on the now crying baby's stomach.

Days after a large funeral was held for the many citizens and ninja who perished at the attack. Two of the numerous names carved upon the memorial stone were Hiruzen Sarutobi and Kushina Uzumaki-Namikaze.

-Present-

Haru stared at the words on the paper feeling light-headed. This was the story of how he came to be the holder of the Kyuubi and his grandfather's death, but how did this correlate with Minato betraying him?

A second thing was the masked man. He was sure he saw an orange mask when with Haku in the Wave. They were different designs, but it was too much of a coincidence. Concluding on keeping quiet about that he shifted his look to Danzo.

"This told me nothing, but how my grandfather died, old man." Haru didn't know why the man wanted him as a student or something but he did know that he didn't want him leaving this place.

Tensing his legs ready to flee the room of deadly ninja each stronger and faster than himself he let his muscles relax hearing what Danzo had just said.

"What?" Haru whispered looking at the one-eyed man.

"I said. You were not the child your grandfather sealed the beast into. You were titled as the Jinchuriki to protect the true Jinchuriki. I suspect it to be his daughter, your teammate Naruko Namikaze." Danzo said calmly to the startled boy pleased that he wasn't trying to run anymore.

He would break and reform him into a true Shinobi.

"Naruko is the Jinchuriki and not me? Why would the Hokage do that? Everyone hated me, even my own mother hated me. All I ever had was my father, Uncle, Hinata and eventually brother."

Haru felt hate for the first time in his life for being loathed by his people. He had always dismissed and avoided the people who had glared at him or scorned his presence. He felt deceived by the Hokage, Naruko's dad, but surprisingly enough didn't hate him.

"If it wasn't me who was named the Jinchuriki and Naruko instead, do you think she would've been treated the same as me?" He asked Danzo not looking the man in the eye.

"Yes, maybe an increased number in assassination attempts too," Danzo acknowledged getting up from the floor and picking up the paper, placing it back within the file.

"We will start your training now. If you listen to me and perform well in the exams first half I will explain to you why your mother truly hated you, even to her death." Danzo waved the file of papers at the boy. His eye, shining in thrill when Haru stood up and nodded at him with his fist clenched.

He would get stronger so that he wouldn't get used again and proudly hold the title of Jinchuriki for Naruko's sake.

-End-

An: Put my all into this chapter. During the flashback, Haru only read what happened. He didn't hear the thoughts or feelings of the characters such as Hiruzen thinking of him before sealing the nine tails inside of Naruko.
