Chapter 19: And mother nature was drained

The works of nature gifted wonders

Some many events took place rapidly. Selene was in no mood so she gathered the others in a private room. All four wanted to know what really transpired all those years ago. How could their lives be a lie for the last 10 years. It was frustrating especially for Selene. Her curiosity could not let go of the Wyatt situation. Who abandons their family? And why exactly everyone felt it was necessary to lie. Especially about who their real parents were.

"You know Azcadelia is not going to be happy that we removed the book from the attic," Cordelia informed.

"Second that," Minvera said.

"They are too busy trying to locate Freya," Selene shot back.

"I doubt they'll even notice," Demetria added.

"Oh they'll notice," a voice said, startling them all. Out of the shadows there was Freya sitting in the dark. She rose from the couch and trailed over to the table. Tapping the table with her finger tips sparks flying from her hands.

"The famous eclipse," Freya said; grabbing the book from the table and flipping through it.

"You're Freya," Selene stated.

"Easy guess,"

"You know everyone is looking for you?" Demetria questioned.

"Good thing I know how to cloak myself," Freya said, still flipping through the book.

"What are you looking for? Cordelia questioned.

"The resurrection spell,"

"Aren't those forbidden?" Minvera stated.

"I wrote the damn spell, "

"Then you would remember the spell required a token," Selene said.

"You sound like him," Freya answered, never looking up from the book.

"Who?" Selene asked.

"Wyatt, " Freya said with pause when she located the spell. She looked up from the book and stared at the four before her. "You girls are all grown up now, time really flies" she said turning her back about to walk into the shadows.

"Wait," Selene said. Freya paused. "How do we find Wyatt?" Selene asked.

"You can't," Freya answered.

"Who are you bringing back?" Demetria questioned.

"I'm bringing back all who are lost. Things must be equal. The scales must not be tipped. There has to be a natural order. All is fair" Freya said.

"What does that mean?" Cordelia questioned, raising her brow.

"Who's side are you really on? Selene said questioning her motives.

"Nature's." Freya said disappearing within the shadows.

"Umm is it just me or is she creepy?" Demetria facing the others.

"Certainly," they all said in union.

"Let's start with this locating spell," Selene said twisting the book around to face her and the other nodding in agreement.

In the enchanted garden, Freya was sitting in the grass with a bag in her hands. She opened the brown sag bag pulling out the skull and remains of a family member. She stopped shortly as she saw a figure rising from the water. She looked up as she saw her sister Jetalunus walking up to her.

"Here to stop me," Freya stated, throwing the brown bag to the side.

"We've been looking for you," Jetalunus replied, standing before her baby sister.

"I didn't want to be found," Freya said looking up.

"I'm not here to stop you, "

"Your not?" Freya questioned confused.

"No," Jetalunus answered with a slight chuckle. "I know this must be done," she finished.

"All in the grand design," Freya shot back.

"There's a purpose for everything, " Jetalunus said with a pause. "Who will you use as a token?"

"Orcelle,"

Jetalunus smirked shaking her head, "she really can't stay out of anything,"

"She means well," Freya replied. "Besides she can never truly die. Unlike some of us,"

"In due time you will be. Its something earned by righteousness,"

"Yeah tell Z that,"

"Quite dangerous bringing Juniper back you think?" Jetalunus stated rather than a question.

"And Castor as well," Freya shot back grabbing the other brown sag. Digging in the bag for your remains.

"And who will you use-?"

"Myself"

"What?" Jetalunus responded outraged.

"I am tired and when she rises she will use me for constant resurrection until she can gain immortality,"

"And she can truly never have it," Jetalunus yelled, shaking the entire garden.

"I cannot harm another innocent soul just to save my family. You all are on your own now," Freya replied. Before Jetalunus could answer everyone except the eclipse appeared.

"Freya," Chris said, going to hug his sister. He looked down and stepped back. "What are you doing?" Freya said nothing.

"Tell him," Jetalunus said. "Now,"

"Freya, what's wrong?" Azcadelia said, stepping forward.

"She wants to sacrifice herself for Castor," Jetalunus answered for her.

"What?" Azcadelia and Chris responded.

"What the hell is going on?" Piper injected. "Sacrifice yourself for what?"

"I believe we should leave. They need to sort this out," Pandora stated to everyone else in the family.

"What? No, this involves us all," Paige added.

"You more than most," Freya replied finally breaking her silence.

"And what does that mean?" Paige answered and everyone got quiet. "What?"

"These are your children I'm resurrecting," Freya answered.

"What?" Paige said once more stepping in front of the bones. She kneeled to the ground. Touching the bones trying not to shed a tear.

"I am simply here to restore balance," Freya responded.

"Yeah by killing yourself," Chris yelled. "It's not happening"

"What happened to them? Paige asked, looking up at everyone. Everyone was quiet. "Now!"

"Castor was killed by the source at the time." Freya answered.

"The source?" Phoebe asked.

"And-" Paige muttered.

"Your daughter killed your other daughter, Juniper, " Jetalunus answered.

"Z is my daughter?" Paige questioned stumbling over her words.

"Yes," Freya answered.
