And now, to the next chapter :3
Chapter 19: Battle on the Ghost Ship
-Location: Agetan Sea; 3700 kilometers (2299 miles) West of Asgan West coast-
On the deck of the Trinidad Escarlata, the battle continued. The crew of the ship fought against the Skeleton Pirates, in a battle that has taken at least an hour already. The crew of living pirates were good, as they managed to resist the onslaught of the Skeletons. However, the dead crew of the Ghost Ship keep coming, in endless waves of soldiers, and soon the living pirates were getting really tired, and they start taking loses.
Captain Isabella cut the head of some Skeletons with her sword, while having to evade the sword strike of another one. She too had an aura shield like Alan and the other mages, and she was resisting for now. However, she, like the rest of the crew, was getting tired, and soon sword strikes began to damage her clothes and skin. Still, she was fighting as fiercely as when the battle started.
"Curse you, bone rats!" Exclaimed Isabella, as she kicked a Skeleton out of her ship, before blocking the strike of another one, "Yer won't take me alive! Keep fighting, everyone! Show these skinless buccaneers what real piratez are made of!"
"AYE AYE, CAPTAIN!" Exclaimed the crew, getting a second wind to try and fight back.
Meanwhile, Sapphire and Vivian were fighting against the Skeleton Pirates on their own... and they were VERY tired.
Especially Sapphire. The Maiden of Water is not used to fight physically for long periods of time, using mostly her water magic during all battles she had. However, her water magic is so weak right now, that even a Waterga spell is as strong as someone throwing a bucket of water to another one.
Not strong at all…
"This has something to do with a crystal or something." Commented Sapphire, after stabbing the skull of an enemy pirate with her trident. "Otherwise, our magic would be strong enough to flee."
"But why only Wind and Water?" Asked Vivian, after slashing and destroying the bones of a Skeleton pirate with her claws.
Unlike Sapphire, Vivian was more used to physical combat. Her being unable to use her wind magic correctly for so long made her train with her claws and talons. Still, she isn't exactly a warrior centric fighter like Alan was trying to be, or has super strength like Kristal, so she was starting to get tired.
"Like Mister Duncan said, it's probably to stop ships. But why?" Asked Sapphire with confusion…ignoring what happened around her for a few seconds… and that was almost fatal.
A Skeleton Pirate almost reached her with his sword, but it was stopped by a small shield of the flying Kuriboh, who immediately cut the Skeleton in two with her small sword.
"Don't get distracted!" exclaimed Castanea. "Or else you'll get killed. We need to resist until our friends manage to destroy that ship!"
"Right!" Exclaimed Sapphire, getting on guard… before looking at the large Ghost Ship close to them. "I just hope they hurry up… or we won't last long…"
Meanwhile, inside the ship…

-Duncan and Steve Team-
Hidden in one of the rooms, both Duncan and Steve waited. It's been a few minutes since they entered the ship and they had to run from several Skeleton Pirates and normal Skeletons inside it. They could use magic, but on the compact aisles inside it, they were afraid they could end up trapped, so they just decided to run. After a few minutes and mist spells, they managed to hide. Duncan open the door of the room they were hidden so slightly, to see outside
Skeletons, at least those on this ship, are truly death. Unlike the Vampire Camilla, who technically was also a Zombie, these ones had no life in them, and therefore, their life force, their AURA, is very, VERY low. In this ship, they NEED to concentrate to try and feel the energies of the Skeleton Pirates, otherwise they would feel nothing. That is why they were hidden, because they don't know if they will meet with some pirates on their search for the ship's power source.
Surely, Alan will be VERY desperate since he just started to feel the auras of others, so in this place… he REALLY need to concentrate.
"What do we do now, Master Duncan?" Asked Steve with confusion.
"We need to wait a little more." Said the older mage, closing the door. "I feel several auras close by. We need to let them pass."
"I see, I see. Any ideas where the power source is?"
"It's either on the front or the back of the ship. I really don't think it's on the center of it. We will go to the front, while Kristal, Rubina and Alan will go to the back of the ship."
"That Alan is a lucky one. Having two busty beauties with him, and not doing anything."
"He still is very shy around them. Besides, he respects them to even try and do anything you do."
"Hey! I also respect them! But I also love women, so…"
"I know you do… but Steve, you NEED to become more mature."
"Uh? Why?"
"Because if you keep doing this, even Kristal will not stand you up anymore, no matter how much of a friend you are."
"…you think so, Master?"
"Of course. Besides, it's your actions that are pushing them into his hands."
"Wait, WHAT?!" exclaimed Steve, forcing Duncan to silence him.
"Not so loud." Expressed the Dark Magician. "This is no time to say this, but then again we rarely stay alone like this, so I'll tell you quick: Kristal, Vivian and Sapphire, they kind of like you, but they won't approach you because they know you will go full 'lust mode' on them."
"And what about Alan? He is also thinks of them like that."
"They know."
"What?!"
"Well, I think they DO have an idea that he thinks mostly the same as you, but he doesn't show it. When he talks to them, he talks to their face, not chest, like you do. He does have a full conversation with them. They have noticed he give them a look, but he treats them normally, and they appreciate that. I'm sure they are slowly falling for him. Besides him being human is a bonus."
"What does him being human applies in here?"
"He is special. The only human in here, so they are interested. They don't know it yet."
"…How do you know, Master?"
"You think I'm silent almost every day for no reason? I am watching over you, seeing how you react. That's why I know when to speak and when to listen. As a teacher, I need to look out for my apprentices, and part of it is to see how you act."
"…what can you tell me about them?"
"You really need to leave behind this 'pervert' phase behind, Steve. Look at them normally, speak with them, and I'm sure maybe one of them will look at you with other eyes."
"… I will try, Master."
"But you need to do it soon."
"Why is that?"
"Seems like Rubina also took a liking on our human friend. And unlike Kristal, Vivian or Sapphire, she is more… direct in her approach."
"Oh yeah, that hot Nyan Nyan is very close to him."
"She is more… wild than the other girls, and she keeps hugging him whenever she sees him. If she remains with us, the dynamic of the other girls will surely change."
"Why is that?" Asked Steve again.
"If our female companions are taking a likening on him, and Rubina has no quarrels to hug him, I expect the rest of the girls to get a little more… touchy on him."
"What?!"
"You know. A hug in here, a hug in there. You will eventually start to see it. Knowing their personalities and how they react when they meet him, Vivian will probably start first, since he did save her. Then Sapphire will, as she is very interested in the champions of the Keyblade, and that admiration will slowly turn into interest and love. And Kristal… well, she will resist, but if she starts to like him more, she too will."
"But… Kristal hates perverts."
"Love makes you change, Steve. If she falls in love with him, I'm sure she wouldn't mind if HE was a pervert with her."
Steve started to think. He actually noticed that Kristal was getting closer to Alan slowly. However, he didn't though she will start to like the human, and he started to notice some details that made him think she was slowly developing feelings for Alan. He didn't give much attention to Vivian or Sapphire, other than their voluptuous bodies, so he didn't know how they think.
"How do you know so much, Master?" Asked the young mage with confusion.
"Experience, my apprentice. And look at everything arround me. Also I studied some psychology as part of our classes back when I was a student. But yes, if you actually like some of them, you will have to hurry. Rubina's appearance is accelerating the process of them falling in love with him, or at least like him."
"That lucky bastard… he is slowly getting a harem of his own and he DOESN'T know it."
"Like they say: it's always easy to see when you are not on the receiving end of it. Knowing Alan, he doesn't see it because of his story on his world. For him, it will be VERY improbable that any of the girls like him." Commented Duncan, before closing his eyes and concentrating again. "Anyway, we need to go. I feel they are not close here. We will go down the hallway and then take the stairs to the lower floor. I sense some mystic energy coming from there."
"Oh, ok, Master!"
"And Steve, an advice as a teacher to his student: you need to be yourself, and don't let others decide."
"Master?"
"Sure, I did told you to grow out of this 'pervert' phase, but that is your own choice. If you want to still be the same, do it…"
Duncan closed his eyes and sighed.
"…don't make my mistake."
"…Master, what do you mea-?"
Duncan just chuckled and looked at his student.
"You remind me of myself when I was younger… and that cost me my friendship with someone special..."
"Wait… you mean you were…?!" Asked Steve in surprise.
"Not on the same scale as you. Probably was in between you and Alan. Will tell you later of my past… if we survive."
"…oh! I am interested! Let's go!"
And with that, both Master and Apprentice left the room and walked towards the hallway to reach the stairs, and went into another floor, seeking for the power source.
-Kristal, Alan and Rubina Team-
In another part of the ship, a group of Skeleton Pirates were patrolling the area, when they were quickly killed by someone who pounced from the ceiling and stab them with 2 lighting blades, turning them into true corpses.
"Coast is clear, mateys." Expressed Rubina, looking behind them. "Yee can get out."
From behind a wall that connects to another hallway, Alan's head peeked to look at Rubina, and so, both he and Kristal emerged from it, walking towards the redheaded Oni.
"Well done, Rubina." Said Alan, giving her a thumbs up.
"Thank you, friend Alan!" Said Rubina, who immediately smiled energetically. "They arr very easy to kill."
"I know."
"Eh… i-is it s-safe?" Asked Kristal, who was walking behind Alan. They could see she was shaking a little.
"Yee! The deck iz clear! We conquered this floor! Now to the next one!" Exclaimed Rubina, pointing forward to the stairs.
"Geezz, slow down a little. We need to be sure!" Expressed the blondie in annoyance.
"We can't." Answered Alan. "The crew is fighting the Skeleton Pirates back on the ship. We need to find that Power source and FAST."
"I just… don't like ghost and Skeletons…" Said Kristal, shyly looking to the ground. She was shaking. She REALLY don't like to be in this place. She then felt a hand on her shoulder, and looked to see Alan smiling at her.
"Don't worry, Kristal. We will protect you if something happens."
"Ya! That's why we're mateys!" Exclaimed Rubina.
"A-aren't you afraid?" Questioned Kristal, looking at Alan.
"To be fair, I AM scared." Commented the human, laughing nervously. "But we have to do this. People count on us, so we must keep looking forwards."
"I-I see… Say, Alan… can I…"
"Yes?" Asked the human, noticing how his blondie companion was blushing…hard.
"…Can I… hold on your arm?"
"Uh? … eh, sure, why not?"
Without waiting, Kristal hugged Alan's left arm like her life depended on it. Alan didn't expect that. He though she meant like holding his jacket's fabric, or even walking close to his shoulder, not to practically hug his whole arm.
Not that he minds, of course, as he can easily feel Kristal's breasts pressing against his arm… and even almost sandwich it.
'Damn! They are so big!' Though the human, swallowing hard.
"Hey! I wantz to do that two!" Exclaimed Rubina, before walking to the other side and doing the same with Alan's right arm, hugging and sandwich it between her breasts.
'Her's are big too! Not as big as Kristal's but big none the less!... No! Calm down, Alan! Not the time!'
"H-hey! You are not afraid! Don't cling to him!" Exclaimed Kristal with annoyance.
"But friend Alan is me friend!"
Alan just sighed, and just began to walk towards the stairs, being followed but both girls, and enjoying every single second of it.
A few minutes later, on the next room, the three friends walked slowly. The girls were no longer clinging on Alan's arms (to his disappointment), and were searching for more Skeletons. Rubina was in front of them, followed by Alan with his Keyblade in hand, and then Kristal, very close to Alan and grabbing his jacket, looking nervously to their back.
"Heard anything, Rubina?" Asked Alan, his eyes moving everywhere to see if he can catch something.
"Ne, cant heard anythin in this bloody deck." Commented Rubina, somewhat frustrated.
Alan tried to think of something. He discovered he couldn't feel the energies of anyone in this ship other than his own group. Make sense, as this was a ship of Skeletons, aka dead people, aka they have no auras. However, Kristal told him she CAN sense their auras, as they still move, but their auras were so low it was almost none existent, so that is why he is having problems detecting auras. She also has problems, and need to be relatively close, like 20 meters (65 feet), to feel something.
So, they rely on Rubina. She is actually part Oni part Tiger, so her hearing and senses in general are more tuned to detect sounds, and she was able to do so easily. That is why she was the one to kill the Skeletons when they didn't expect. It was very helpful. However, seems she is having problems with it.
"So… what do we do?" asked Alan. "Shall we just open random doors to see if we find the power source?"
"I-I don't think th-that would be smart, A-Alan." Commented Kristal, getting more and more scared now that Rubina can't detect anything. "What if w-we find Skeletons?"
"But we have to… or else…"
"Friend Alan iz right! Need to find the source!" Exclaimed Rubina, walking towards a door in front of them.
"W-Wait! We need to think of this fir-!"
But Alan's warnings arrived late, as Rubina opened the door directly in front of them… and they all wished she didn't, as inside it, there were many creatures, different than the Skeleton warriors… and yet still dead.
Zombies.
With green, putrefied skin, missing limbs, eyes and flesh showing their bones, blood pouring from their mouth and eye sockets, and their brains exposed on their heads. And they were NOT human Zombies. Instead, many of Spirituels, of variable sizes and forms. The moment Rubina opened the door, every Zombie in place turned to look at them, with their hungry eyes locked on them.
The 3 took a step back, as they look in fear at the inside the great hall where all the Zombies were. Normally, a group of Zombies wouldn't be a problem… but they were HUNDREADS! If they fight them, they will be overwhelmed.
They tried to take a step back… but the moment they did, all the Zombies jumped at them.
"AHHHHH!"
-Music: Enemy Attack (Final Fantasy X Soundtrack)-
Rubina and Alan instinctively used their powers, as lightning electrocuted some Zombies while ice froze some others. But they were so many, that the back ones simply walked by and jumped them.
"RUN!" Exclaimed Alan in fear.
The three of them immediately run to escape the Zombies, that were giving them chase.
"I TRIED TO TELL YOU NOT TO OPEN THE DOOR!" Exclaimed Alan in anger while running.
"THIZ IZ NOT THE MOMENT, FRIEND ALAN!" Expressed Rubina, trying to defend herself.
"LESS TALKING, MORE RUNNING!" Screamed Kristal, totally in shock and fear, as she was the one who run faster. "I HATE ZOMBIES!"
Looking back, Alan saw in fear that the Zombies were fast… REALLY fast. So fast even when using his aura, they were catching up.
"I THOUGH ZOMBIES RUN SLOW!" Exclaimed Alan in fear.
"I DON'T KNOW! JUST RUN FASTER!" Exclaimed Kristal.
As the three run for their lives, being chased by a large horde of fast moving Zombies, Alan just had one more comment to make.
"FUCKING RESIDENT EVIL GAMES! THEY LIED TO ME!"
Meanwhile, back with Steve and Duncan's team…
"Well… so much for trying to hide…"
"That's why I told you not to open that door, Steve."
"I'm sorry, Master."
A few minutes after leaving that room they were in, Duncan and Steve went into another floor, trying to seek the power source of the ship. However, just like with Kristal's team, they found the next floor empty, and when Steve went and open a door, disobeying Duncan's warning, they soon were surrounded by Zombies too. However, unlike the other team, they stayed and fight, especially since Duncan had more experience and magic power than the other team.
As some Zombies attacked, Duncan and Steve used their spells to kill them once more.
"I see, so that's how they became Skeleton Pirates." Expressed Duncan, after he burned a Zombie with a fire spell, and looking at the zombies that surround them.
"What do you mean, Master?" Asked Steve, on guard with his staff after freezing a Zombie with an ice spell.
"Look at their clothes. They were crew of other ships. I think this ghost ship assaults other ships and kills their crew, only to revive them as zombies. And soon, their skin will rot away, leaving only skeletons."
"So… what should we do?"
"Keep fighting! We need to find the source!"
Duncan and Steve keep fighting against the Zombies, using their spells to destroy many of them. They decided to fight in another place, so they run towards a hallway, trying to find another room, when on the other side of the hallway, more Zombies blocked their path.
"Damn! They keep coming!" Exclaimed Steve, after having to burn a Zombie with a fire spell, before evading another one and hitting him with his staff, beheading it. Funny enough, the body tried to search for the head, before becoming immovable. "We can't hold them too much."
"We need to find the power source! It must be close, and must be the one making creating the spell that revitalizes the corpses." Commented Duncan, looking at the Zombies, before start charging some energy. "Steve! Create a shield around us! I'll make a path!"
"Yes, Master!" Exclaimed Steve, kneeling and creating a shield of magic around them, while Duncan began charging aura around his staff.
The Zombies began attacking the shield, trying to get to the mages, but Steve's shield was very strong, so it managed to resist enough for Duncan to finish charging his technique. He pointed his staff towards the hallway they were going in the first place.
"DARK MAGIC ATTACK!"
A very large orb of dark energy emerged from Duncan's staff and flew across the hallway, evaporating every Zombie it hit, before crashing on the wall at the end.
"Go!"
Both mages began to run to the now empty hallway, still being chased by the Zombies from behind. For several minutes, they run and kill any zombie they saw, until they finally reached a large hall, and at the end of it, some large doors on the other side of it.
"I can feel it." Commented Duncan, concentrating on the door. "The energy comes from here. The ship's source is behind these doors."
"Master! Behind us!"
Duncan turned back, and saw that many Zombies now blocked the entrance to the large hall, making it impossible to turn back. They approached, and both mages got on guard… before the older one looked at his apprentice.
"Steve, I'll open a way for you to get inside the room, and will remain and defeat those Zombies. You go inside and destroy the power source." Commented the Dark Magician, causing his apprentice to look at him surprised.
"What?! But they are so many!" Exclaimed Steve.
"Don't worry. I have way more magic power and will be able to fend against those Zombies. If we both go inside, and the power source is not in there, will be boxed in."
"But…"
"Hurry! I will keep them at bay. I count on you."
"…yes, Master. I will not fail you!"
"Then go!" Exclaimed Duncan, before forming three large fire orbs around his staff, pointing them at the Zombies close to the large door. "TRIPLE FIRAGA!"
The Dark Magician launched three large fireballs that incinerated almost any Zombie close to the door. Both used this opportunity to run towards the doors, and once close to it, used some magic to open them. Steve enter the room, while Duncan stayed behind, as the doors closed in front of him, and he turned to look back, at the Zombies closing by.
Duncan smiled… as he was breathing with difficulty.
"I don't think I have much magic power after all these fighting." Commented Duncan.
He lied to Steve. He told him he was ok, but in actuality he was getting low on magic power. He actually used more spells than Steve during the battle, and the reason why he let Steve in was because Steve still has his magic power almost at his full capacity. If someone has to face an enemy inside that room, because Duncan believes SOMEONE must be guarding it, it's better that Steve be the one who fights it.
"I count on you… my apprentice…" Expressed Duncan, drinking a potion to recover some of his magic energy, before charging dark energy on the tip of his staff and on his left hand.
The Zombies all jumped at him, while an explosion of dark magic fill the entire hall.
-Music End-
Steve looked at the door that just closed behind him, and felt the explosion of dark energy on the other side of the door.
He just sighed. He wasn't stupid; he KNEW his master, and knows the Dark Magician must be low on energy after all the fights. After all, he was the one who used the most spells during the fight with the Zombies, and Steve wondered why that was it. Now that he was alone, he knew the reason: if the ship's power source was guarded by someone powerful, it would be better if one of them were at full power.
Sure, they have some potions on their side, but he only have one, and he needs to use it wisely. Unfortunately, the rest of the potions and elixirs were back on the Trinidad Escarlata ship, as they didn't expect to be boarded by a ghost ship.
He sighed again, before turning back to look at the path in front of him… and saw it was really, REALLY dark.
"Light." Said Steve, as the orb of his staff began to shine in white light, illuminating the new room he was in.
He saw that in front of him were only stairs going up, but looking at it, he couldn't see the end, as it was surrounded in darkness.
"Well…better make haste." Said Steve, before he began floating up the stairs.
For a few more minutes, Steve went up, and he was starting to feel like the stair were endless, when he finally reached the end of them. Now he was in another large room, but it was still very dark, only illuminated by some candles around the room… and a large purple crystal at the end of the room.
It kind of looked like an Elemental Crystal, but it was smaller, as those Crystals were huge, like 3 meters tall, while this one was probably half its size. It was purple, and it emitted a strange glow, as it pulsed every four seconds, like it was breathing. Steve could feel some strange energies coming from it.
"I suppose this is it. Well, now I should-"
However, the moment Steve took a step forward, he stopped immediately, as his instincts told him something. He can feel it… if he concentrates enough, he could sense…
…someone was there.
-Music: Heresy (Final Fantasy VIII Soundtrack)-
"Who is there?!" Exclaimed the Skilled Dark Magician with courage, looking everywhere. "I can feel your energy! Show yourself!"
"Ah, so you could sense me. Impressive…"
Suddently, from the floor in front of him a strange figure emerged, like the ground was made of water. It was a Zombie, but a special one, as it has blue skin, he was thin, with one yellow eye partially open. The Zombie also had a disjointed jaw, as it was dangling from its normal place, although it could be moved to talk. He wore red pants, and a red and yellow shirt with no sleeves. He also has a sword, a rapier, that he grips with his right hand. At the sight of this newcomer, Steve got on guard.
"Greetings, magician…" Expressed the Zombie. "My name is Earl of the Demise, captain of the ship you are invading."
"We? You are the ones who are attacking OUR ship!" Exclaimed Steve in anger.
"You fool. Everything inside the mist is mine. Your ship, your resources… your bodies. They are mine! Your Hearts will me a nice collection for this… Zomboe Crystal."
"Zomboe Crystal?" Asked the mage, looking at the purple crystal behind the Zombie.
"Yesss. The source of power of this ship, and the one that controls and revives the dead crew on this ship. With this… I will create a large fleet for Lord Exus!"
"What?! Are you saying you work for Exus?!"
"Exactly, magician!" Exclaimed Earl, floating in the air, extending his arms to his side, while his head moved erratically. "I am Captain Earl, zombie commander of Lord Exus Zombie division. He gave me this crystal of darkness after taking some shards of the Ice and Lighting crystals and corrupting them. With it, I will kill every ship and crew that enters these waters, and with it, the army of the dead will sail the seas and conquer the continents! An army of the dead, one worthy of the might of Lord Exus!"
"We won't let you!" Exclaimed Steve, burning his aura. "Even at the sea, Exus try to stop us. Well this will be the end! I will defeat you and destroy that Crystal!"
"You have guts, magician… but they are still inside your body. Let me correct that mistake!"
After that, Earl dashed towards Steve, who was waiting for him. However, the zombie, like a ghost, disappeared in front of him.
"What?!" asked Steve in confusion, looking everywhere to try and find the Zombie Captain.
"What's the matter, magician? Can't see me in the darkness?"
Steve looked everywhere, trying to sense Earl's energy. However, as a Zombie, he had low aura to detect, and besides, the zombie was really good at hiding it, making it REALLY hard to find.
"Show yourself, coward?!" Exclaimed Steve in anger.
"I'm here!"
Before he could react, Earl's sword pierced Steve's stomach from behind, causing great pain in the magician.
"Too easy. Is this the best the heroes of the crystals can do?" Asked Earl, as he removed his sword from Steve's stomach and instead slashed the mage's back, causing his extreme pain.
"Gaak!" Exclaimed Steve, as he fell on his knees and hands, trying to resist the pain.
Earl returned to the ground, as he watched the mage bleed.
"Haha! You believed too much in your eyes, magician. And because of that, you will die in here." Expressed Earl from the shadows. "I will gladly see you die slowly."
Steve breath heavily, as he felt he was losing blood fast. He now saw what Earl was able to do, but he didn't expect him to attack immediately. He was overconfident…and that cost him dearly…
…or so that was before, as Steve started to remember something that happened weeks ago.
"Steve… as much as I would LOVE to talk about boobs and butts and legs and all that stuff, you are forgetting a little something."
"What is that?"
"I'M BLEEDING OUT!"
"Oh… right… you'll have to wait for Kristal then. She is the one with the healing spells, not me."
"… you… don't know healing spells?"
"They are BORING!"
"They could save your life!"
"Why heal people when I can shock them with lightning?!"
Alan just sighed again…
Steve chuckled at that memory.
"Damn… glad I took Alan's warning…" commented Steve, before grabbing his staff, that emitted a greenish glow. "Cure!"
Suddently, a green and yellowish bell appeared over Steve's head, and as it chimed, green energy engulfed his body. Soon, the stab and cut on his stomach and back were closed, and the bleeding stopped.
"What?" asked Earl in confusion, as the young mage stood up, looking at his injuries.
"Well, that worked." Expressed Steve, looking at where his stomach wound was. 'Man, glad I took Alan's advice and asked Kristal to show me to use the cure spell. Sure, took me a while to learn it as I was just looking at her breasts while she tried to teach me, but I got the hang of it.'
"So you know healing magic, eh? Curious, as you are a dark mage."
"Well, it's because I'm awesome!"
"Anyway, next time you won't be able to use healing magic! Next time, I'll go for your head!"
"There won't be a next time!" Exclaimed Steve, as he burned his aura again, this time, the mage circle formed on the floor around him. "I will defeat you before you have the chance!"
"We shall see, mage! Your heart, soul and body belong to me!"
And so, Steve's battle just started. The young mage looked everywhere, trying to find Earl… before the Zombie gets him again…
The battle at the sea… continues…

Chapter 20 Preview:
Alan: Hello! Alan here! As Kristal, Rubina and myself flee from the Zombies to reubite with Master Duncan, Steve is in the battle of his life!
Earl: Stupid mage! You will never escape from here alive! YOU WILL BECOME MY NEW SERVANT!
Steve: Like I'll let you kill me! Take this! The power of light!
Don't miss the next chapter of The N-Warriors: Shadow Realm Saga: The sinking of the Ghost Ship.
Alan: Oh, this cant get worse... wait...we are WHERE?!
Author Notes:
And a new chapter is done!
I hope you liked it.
So, the ghost ship killed the crew of other ships and add it to it's own as Zombies and then Skelleton Pirates, that is why it had so many of them. The main force are actually the Skelletons, while the Zombies are inside the ship, 'waiting' for their flesh to rot and fade.
Also yes, Kristal is VERY afraid of the undead stuff. Or at least thing that LOOK like the undead. Zombies, Skelletons and Ghosts are a NONO for her, so much she can't fight back.
And now, it's Steve's time to shine. Glad he learned that Cure spell. It will help him.
Well, hope you are all ok, and I'll see you next week, hopefully.
See ya next time!
