-Forest of Death-
"Alright kiddies, I'm Anko Mitarashi and this here behind me is the Forest of Death, " Anko proclaimed, waving her arms in the air giving everyone a good view of her mesh-covered chest.
"Stop gawking at my sensei dead last before I make you," Sakura gave notice, cracking his knuckles threateningly.
"Please was that a nip?" Haru begged, still peeking at Anko's boobs with Hinata next to him shyly nodding to his question.
"There's a r..ing too Haru-kun, " Hinata said nervously playing with her fingers.
Sakura took a step forward to put Haru in place but halted when Satsuki strolled in his way, challenging him to do something. The pink-haired boy sulked at seeing Satsuki and instead turned away to his sensei who was now holding her hand to the throat of a Kumo ninja and then, lick him.
"Why did I get the crazy one!" He pondered to himself, wanting to slam his head against the gate in front of him.
"Why couldn't she lick me. Ow, Hime why!"
Sakura cringed when the girl, Boa who had hilariously put the dead last in his place, picked up a kunai that his sensei had thrown earlier with her tongue.
"I believe this is yours, Mis. Anko," Boa said smoothly.
"Sakura! Grab this kunai from her and then help me hand out the scrolls, " Anko declared tensely, frowning at the Sound kunoichi and then walking to a small table that held a basket of scrolls.
He frowned at Haru and Kiba's laughter and snatched the kunai from the sound ninja's tongue wanting to gag at the feeling of her saliva. At least he knew this forest like the back of his hand.
"Does Sakura-kun not have any teammates?" Naruko asked Ino who sighed and nodded her head.
"Yeah, he doesn't due to being selected as Anko's apprentice, but he should be fine. He trains in there every day with that psycho," Ino explained to Naruko who smiled and took her scroll from the charmingly smiling Sakura.
"I would offer you help Naruko-chan but I refuse to work with those two fiends," Sakura stated to Naruko, smirking at Haru who was fidgeting under Satsuki's glare.
"You though, Ino I will offer you and your bozo teammates my assistance," he said merrily, handing Shikamaru a scroll.
"Like we need his help," Shikamaru groaned under his breath.
"Yeah. Gee thanks, I guess," Ino said while giggling at the lazy Nara's remark.
"Okay, every team starts off at a gate of their own choosing. Your objective is to capture both a Heaven and Earth scroll, remember to stay alive too, " Anko said once each team had their scroll.
"The second exam begins now!"

Haru sighed to himself as he sat in front of a bright campfire. It has already been seven hours since the start of the exam and they haven't been able to find anyone. He could've used his sensory power to search for the chakra of their fellow test-takers but couldn't distinguish them from the absurdly powerful wildlife within the forest.
He looked over to Naruko's snoring self and smiled. He had the first shift of guard duty and needed to wake Satsuki soon in order to change shifts with the girl.
She was lying with her back against the bark of a tree and what he thought was a cute frown on her face.
Haru turned his head to the small lake that they were close but not too close to, frowning at the water he widened his eyes when he felt three rapidly approaching chakra signatures. It had to be enemy ninja, he knew it.
Glancing over his shoulder at the two sleeping girls he grinned and decided he would take care of it. Getting up and making his way over to the lake he had only one thought on his mind; how cool he would look returning with the scroll they needed.
Haru didn't have to wait long as three hidden mist shinobi exploded from beneath the water around him, each smirking at him not hiding their maliciousness.
"Hand over your scroll and we'll kill you quickly, " spoke what looked to be the leader of the two other genin.
Haru didn't speak instead, he ran forward and punched one of the cheerfully nodding ninjas in the face, sending him flying across the surface of the water until sinking. He smirked at their shocked reactions and evaded a sloppily thrown barrage of shuriken that the other lackey threw.
He wanted to end this asap.
Seeing the leader brandish a sword that looked much too heavy for him and smirk believing he had the upper hand now, Haru backed himself into a tree smiling innocently choosing to entertain them before kicking their asses and taking their scroll.
As the mist shinobi slammed his greatsword down upon him Haru brought up a wooden bo staff and blocked the attack, shocking them once again. Seeing the other ninja run at him with a sword of his own he slammed his foot on the ground and glanced in marvel as wood grew from the ground and wrapped around the boy up to his neck.
He felt strong for once.
"What the hell was that!?" The boy still forcing his blade down on top of him growled looking at the strange wooden substance that grew around his now crying out teammate.
Haru widened his eyes before glaring at him. He had forgotten that his ability was to remain a secret from everyone until his sensei felt it was time to reveal it.
Forming a ram seal he pushed the Mist ninja off of him as the wooden bo staff grew a spiked end that had small splinters sticking out at the tip. He didn't want to kill him, but Danzo would be upset if he let him get away with that information.
"Stop! We'll give you the scroll just don't kill him, please im begging you!" The bounded genin wailed to Haru.
Haru frowned at the scared ninja who stumbled back towards the water and then to his captured teammate. Maybe he could ask them to not tell anyone.
"It's an Earth scroll. You have a Heaven scroll we saw that blonde flaunting it to the other leaf ninja. That's why we targeted you."
Sighing and loosening the wood's hold on the Mist ninja Haru fell forward and leaned against the wood covered boy and slowly reached for the kunai that was now in his back.
Gritting his teeth he yanked the blood-covered kunai out of his back and looked back at the smirking sword-wielding leader of the Most genin in shock and betrayal.
"I never had any intentions of not killing you. I don't get chances like this very often, my father speaks highly of the thrill he got from killing other ninjas back during the Bloody Mist Era and I want to feel it too."
Haru closed his eyes and willed the wood binding the boy behind him to clinch again evoking a scream of pain from the bound boy and angrily threw his staff at the genin running at him impaling him through the chest before he could dodge, killing him instantly.
"I'm not going to kill you," Haru said to the still screaming boy as he jerked his staff from the corpse's chest drenching his hand in blood.
Forcing the wood to retract back into the ground Haru walked over to him and waited for him to stop coughing and gasping for air.
Offering his hand to him once he stopped Haru pulled him to his feet and said, "You can leave, just give me your scroll." To which the boy nodded and hurriedly dug in his satchel that was on his hip and presented Haru his scroll.
Haru looked at it and then nodded to him. He was tired and just wanted to sleep now.
"Y..your hand," the boy murmured while checking over his dead teammate's body with tears in his eyes.
Haru brought his hand up to his face and sighed at the blood covering his hand. How would he explain this to Satsuki and Naruko, he wondered?
"It's just blood, I'd be more worried about your other teammate than him if I were you," Haru stated pointing to the water ahead of them still feeling the chakra of the boy in the water pulsing out.
Haru didn't register the thank you that the Mist ninja gave him. He instead made his way back to camp only to be met with a pissed off Satsuki.
"Hey Satsuki-hime," he said softly looking away from her to the still sleeping Naruko.
"What the hell is wrong with you leaving me and Naruko here alone while asleep," Satsuki whispered in fury.
His response was to bring the scroll up to his face and smile wearily. "I went and got this scroll from some ninja who were sneaking upon us."
If even possible Satsuki looked even more angrier.
"You noticed ninja were coming after us and 'you' decided to leave me and Naruko asleep!" Satsuki stated, her anger rising more and more until Naruko turned over in her sleep.
"I got the scroll we needed and you two are fine anyways, so back off," Haru snapped back and then shut up realizing he was talking to Satsuki.
Satsuki deepened her scowl unconsciously activating, her Sharingan and marched up to Haru pulling him close to her face.
"Say that again Dead Last, I dare you," She said, snatching the scroll from his blood-covered hand scowling at the stickiness to it. Not hearing a response from him she relaxed her hold on him until she heard him whisper, "Don't call me that."
With renewed anger she slammed him back into the tree and let him go, watching with irritated eyes as he slid down to the ground. Satsuki bent down and glared into his eyes, not seeing the usual spark within them when she was talking to him.
"I'll call you whatever I want Dead Last, now go to bed before I make you," she whispered harshly into his ear and then shoved away from him choosing to sit next to the still running fire.
What was wrong with him? He got the scroll, but he left them there for who knows how long undefended and asleep, ripe for the picking. She refused to apologize to him. But was he hurt?
After waiting an agonizing five minutes of just staring into the flames she turned back to where Haru was and grimaced not seeing him there but instead a long bloodied wooden spear weapon.
"Ugh, stupid Haru," she groaned out turning back to the flames. He was on his own for all she cared.

Haru slammed his fist against a tree not caring about the explosion of pain and splinters that now resided in his hand. He was just so pissed. He only wanted to impress her not to get called Dead Last.
He looked back towards the direction of where he had left the girls and then turned back towards the tree looking through the fist-sized hole in it.
"Help!"
He ignored it.
"Someone please help me!"
He'd ignore it.
Silence…
"Dam it," Haru mumbled, running around the tree to where the cries were coming from. Coming to a stop he saw a bear getting ready to slam it's palm down on a red-headed girl, behind the bear were two dead bodies probably her teammates.
Not being able to help himself he stepped forward and went through hand signs, "Earth Style: Mud Wall!" Preventing the bear's lowered paw from hitting the girl.
Haru dashed towards the bear and delivered a kick straight to its nose slightly finding the crunch and snapping of its bones exhilarating like he was in charge of something for once.
Snickering at the whining and panicking beast run away in fear of him, Haru turned to the girl and smiled at her, causing her to turn rosy.
"What's your name?" She asked him gazing up at him in shock and awe.
"I'm Haru Sarutobi, are you okay Red-chan?" Haru asked down to the redhead, her hair was the reddest he's ever seen.
"I'm fine, but my teammates are sort of… well you know," she said quietly lifting her arm and pointing at one of the mangled bodies.
"Your arm? Those look like bite marks, are you sure you're fine?" Haru implored stooping closer to her what looked to be, bitten arm. He leaned back when she bit her bottom lip and tucked her arm behind her back all the while glaring spitefully at the dead boy she was just pointing at.
Putting two and two together Haru looked down and apologized, "I'm sorry. You can come with me if you want," he offered her his hand.
She looked up at him and into his green eyes blushing as red as her hair. "His eyes are so kind and honest," she thought to herself taking his hand hesitantly.
She was caught off guard when he pulled her up to him and picked her up bridal style before jumping high into the trees. "What's your name?"
"Karin," was all she managed to let out as she stared at Haru's face. "Warm," she whispered, leaning her head into his chest. She didn't care where he was taking her as long as she could continue to feel his warmth.
